Date: Saturday, May 2nd, 2009
Location: Joe Louis Arena; Detroit, Michigan
Main Event: Rob Diamond vs. Chris Diamond
Notes: The first show after A Night To Remember will be Trauma packed with action this week.
Commentators: Simon Daye & Jaymie Boone
Theme: "Blind Man" by Black Stone Cherry

{Trauma opens up to the typical fanfare as the camera pans around the arena to view the roaring crowd. Finally we settle on Simon and Jaymie.}

Simon Daye: Welcome to another huge edition of nCw's... that's right nCw's Saturday Trauma. As usual I'm Simon Daye and this is my “lovely” side kick Jaymie Boone.

Jaymie Boone: Yawn, is it time to go home yet?

Simon Daye: The show has just started Jaymie.

The opening riff for "I Don't Know" by Ozzy Osborne rips through the arena speakers and as soon as Ozzy sings the first verse Steve and Charlotte emerge from the backstage area, Steve claps hands with a few fans before rolling into the ring and waiting for his opponent.

Simon Daye: This is the first time we’ve seen Steve Ramone in action.

Jaymie Boone: Yes, and he’s quite the looker.

A perfect circle's "the hollow" blasts over the speakers as the arena gets a tinge of dark blue light. Nero walks out in a see through fishnet shirt and his wrestling attire, he stares at the ring and makes his way down to it ignoring the fans as he slides under the bottom rope and sits in the corner waiting for the match to start.

Jaymie Boone: And the retard reject known as Nero. He got his ass handed to him by Mark Evil.

Simon Daye: He looks pissed.

The bell rings and the two X-division hopefuls are ready to go. Nero jumps at Steve throwing punches but misses, as Steve dodges and delivers a punch straight to Nero’s midsection. Nero comes back quickly, hitting a snap DDT on the other X-division hopeful. He makes a quick cover but the ref can barely get to one before Steve, the newest addition to the nCw roster, kicks out.

Simon Daye: This is great X-division action from these two young fellows.

Jaymie Boone: They are dead-even in this contest to see which of them gets to advance to be the 8th man in the Elite 8 tournament for an X-Division title shot.

Nero is quick to jump right back in on Steve, throwing punches at him as quick as a cat before nailing a spinning thrust kick, knocking Steve back into the turnbuckles. He takes the opportunity to rush at him, hurling into the air with a monkey flip before ascending the ropes.

Jaymie Boone: And the weirdo gets the upper hand quickly here. Maybe he’s going for some serious X-division high-flying that the division is so well known for.

Simon Daye: Oh he’s coming off with an ELBOW DROP but he MISSES as Steve rolls out of the way.

Nero gets back up quickly, holding his elbow after missing as Steve has rolled out of the way. Steve comes at him quickly, rebounding off the ropes and leaping up for a running leg lariat. Nero falls down to the ground and Steve goes for the quick pin. One…Two…Kickout.

Simon Daye: Quick pin, quick kickout.

Jaymie Boone: Now that I think about it, Steve is REALLY good in that ring.

Simon Daye: You sure you don’t mean good looking?

Both men are back to their feet quickly, with Nero lagging just a little behind. Steve runs off the ropes and hits a clothesline, but Nero gets up only to be knocked down again by the rebounding Fearless One. Nero is slow to get up a third time, only to get hit with a Pele Kick to the head. Steve is quick to cover once again. One…Two...Thr-Kickout!

Jaymie Boone: Close call for Nero there, as these two men are going back and forth.

Simon Daye: Indeed, Nero has to get a second wind or he may be lagging behind just enough for Steve to beat him.

Jaymie Boone: I wonder why he’s called the “Fearless one”.

Steve gets back to his feet and stalks the weary Nero. Nero gets kicked in the gut by Steve and lifted high in the air for a Powerbomb but Nero counters with his finisher, BROTHERLY LOVE! But nobody can get up. Both men are down as the ref begins the ten count.

Simon Daye: My god, they are both out.

Jaymie Boone: Did Steve get the worst of that move or did Nero? It looked like he got hit with a Codebreaker while powerbombing Nero…but…was it the other way around?

Simon Daye: I don’t know.

The ref is to the count of three as the fans, now on their feet after this show of X-division hopefuls, are cheering to see who will get to their feet first. Four…five…six…both men are beginning to stir as they realize they both got hurt bad on the last move. They get to their feet slowly. Seven…Eight…Nine…Both are up as the ref stops the count just before they get counted out. Both men are weary, and meet in the middle of the ring for a trade-off of blows. Nero hits a phenomenal left hook to Steve, who tumbles backwards, only to come back with a right. Another massive left, followed by a right. Both men are feeding off the crowd’s monumental reaction. Left…right…left…right…Nero is beginning to Hulk Up as he grapples briefly with Steve before nailing him with a momentum-changing GERMAN!

Jaymie Boone: And Steve is DOWN!

Simon Daye: Nero has an opportunity here, what will he do. OH MY GOD HE’S GOING UP TOP!

And Nero goes for the Hail Mary Elbow Drop once again and nails it this time, launching up to his feet like Shawn Michaels as he stalks Steve, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Steve gets to his feet and Nero moves in, going in again to hit the BROTHERLY LOVE! NO! He was reversed into POWERBOMB!

Simon Daye: The fans are going NUTS for this first match of Trauma as both men are down once again.

Jaymie Boone: This is just the kind of back and forth action you get on Trauma, nothing like Collision’s bore-fests.

Simon Daye: The ONLY place you want to be Saturday night.

The ref begins his count as both men are not up right away. One…two…three…no movement as the fans are rallying both sides with chants for “Steve” or “Nero” as the crowd is split on the new blood of nCw. Four…Five…Six…the men are crawling to get to the ropes, using them to aid them on their way to their feet. The fans are going BERSERK as they finally get up, just before the ten count finishes once again. Both men put up their dukes and come out fighting once more.

Simon Daye: And the match starts AGAIN! This is a CLASSIC.

Jaymie Boone: They BOTH want this X-division chance. They both have a LOT to prove.

The match begins once more as the fans are on their feet just to be watching such a great match between two rookies to nCw’s locker room. Steve comes at Nero, throwing lefts and rights but Nero comes right back at him. They grapple and it appears that Steve may be getting the upper hand when Nero lifts the other X-Division hopeful up in the air, throwing him down to the ground hard with his patented finisher the UBER DRIVER!

Jaymie Boone: It is OVER. UBER DRIVER!

Simon Daye: Nero is going for the pin as the fans are in an uproar.

One…Two…THREE!

Amber Ashe: Winner and the one who advances to the Elite 8, NERO

Simon Daye: Welcome back to Trauma

Jaymie Boone: Next match is a singles match

"Before I Forget" by Slipknot came on the PA system. Lights go out and pyro explodes as a spotlight shines on the top of the entrance way and follows Shaddix as he makes his way into the ring.

Simon Daye: Shaddix won at Wired last Sunday. Can he carry the momentum into this match.

Jaymie Boone: He has a tall order this week

Ten Thousand Fists by Disturbed plays on the PA as JackHammer and Angel come through the curtain, Goliath right behind them they head down the ramp to the ring. Angel heads to the corner, Goliath stands behind Angel with his arms folded across his chest as JackHammer climbs the ring steps, he then stops at the top and raises his left fist sending pyros shooting out of the ring posts. JackHammer then steps into the ring over the top rope and removes his duster and bandana.

Simon Daye: JackHammer has the advantage. I mean he out weighs Shaddix by 133 lbs

Jaymie Boone: Don't forget about his height

Simon Daye: He is one half of Lords of Destruction

Jaymie Boone: Some says that he is leading Lords of Destruction to their own destruction

Simon Daye: Shaddix is going to have to use his speed and try to keep JackHammer grounded

{The ref has finished checking JackHammer over. Shaddix is starring at the big guy. The ref signals for the bell. Both men makes it to the center of the ring. Shaddix had to look up at Jackhammer. JackHammer started mouthing off to Shaddix. Shaddix just stood there. Jackhammer SHOVES Shaddix backwards. Shaddix nails a STANDING DROP KICK to the chest of JackHammer. It had minimum effect on JackHammer. Shaddix goes into the ropes for momentum. JackHammer is ready for him, but to JackHammer surprise Shaddix slides between his feet. He gets up and nails JackHammer with TWO SWIFT KICKS to the knee. JackHammer goes to the mat, Angel does not look happy}

Simon Daye: That is one way to bring JackHammer down to size.

{Shaddix locks in a FACE LOCK. He is trying to hold JackHammer on the mat. JackHammer has other plans. He makes it to his feet and now what was a face lock turns into a HEAD LOCK. JackHammer sends Shaddix into the ropes. Shaddix tries for a shoulder block, but instead of moving JackHammer, Shaddix fell backwards on the mat. JackHammer is laughing at Shaddix. Shaddix gets to his feet and he moves to a corner to rethink his game plan.}

Simon Daye: Shaddix is going to have his....What is this?

{JackHammer went charging into the corner to attempt a splash and Shaddix move just in time. JackHammer runs right smack into the turnbuckle. JackHammer comes out backwards and is taking down to the mat with a BACK TO BELLY SUPLEX. Shaddix waste no time as he mounts and hooks a leg and the ref was in position to make a 2 count only. JackHammer just threw Shaddix off of him. Shaddix gets to his feet. JackHammer makes it to his feet. Shaddix goes into the ropes and attempts a flying body press. JackHammer caught Shaddix and plants Shaddix's back into his knee. JackHammer still has a hold of Shaddix, picks him up and BODY SLAMS. Shaddix hits hard and he arches his back because of the pain Angel has a smile on her face}

Simon Daye: Shaddix just got Slammed to the mat

JackHammer looks down at Shaddix and smiles. He bends over and picks Shaddix up. He lifts Shaddix over his head.

Simon Daye: MY GAWG! That is going to be some drop

Jaymie Boone: First step is going to be...

{JackHammer nails the MILITARY PRESS. Shaddix is rolling around holding onto his stomach. You can tell he is in pain. JackHammer nails a LEG DROP. He goes for the cover. The ref gets a 2 count before Shaddix gets a shoulder up off the mat, JackHammer gets to his feet and as he brings Shaddix to his, Shaddix throws a couple of PUNCHES to the midsection of JackHammer. JackHammer just plants an ELBOW to the back of Shaddix's neck. Shaddix goes to one knee}

Simon Daye: The Shadow Master looks like he is in big trouble

Jaymie: Maybe he should have wrestle his own shadow

Simon Daye just looked at Jaymie with a WTF look.

{JackHammer picks Shaddix up and IRISH WHIPS him into the ropes. Shaddix rebounds and JackHammer tries for a clothesline, but Shaddix ducks under and goes into the ropes again. He rebounds and JackHammer again tries for a clothesline. Shaddix ducks under once again. Shaddix goes into the ropes and he rebounds. As Shaddix is coming off the ropes he is taking to the mat with a BIG BOOT to the face. Angel knows that her man can beat Shaddix.}

Simon Daye: That took the wind right out of Shaddix

{JackHammer is looking around at the fans. They are booing him. JackHammer just waves them off and he goes over to Shaddix. Shaddix had almost made it up. JackHammer goes to help him, but Shaddix wanted no help. He grabs JackHammer's head and he plants his head underneath Jackhammer's chin and drops straight down. Shaddix is rubbing his head, he looks at JackHammer as he is laying on the mat.}

Simone Daye: The Shadow Master again has the big man down on the mat. Can he capitalize on it.

{Shaddix gets up. JackHammer is still laying on the mat. Shaddix nails a MOONSAULT. He stays on and hooks the leg. The ref is in position. 1....

Simon Daye: I think Shaddix is going to pick up the win right here

2....

Jaymie Boone: Match is over

Simon Daye: JackHammer looked like he was dazed after taking that hard shot to the chin

3 NO! The ref says that JackHammer got his shoulder up just in the nick of time. Shaddix can not believe. Angel was relief. She just know the match was over with

Simon Daye: Shaddix was inches away from winning this match}

{Shaddix gets up. He goes to a corner and begins to climb. He makes it to the top rope. He leaps and nails SHOOTING STAR PRESS. He goes for the cover again. The ref is in position. 1....2....3 NO! Jackhammer kicks out right before the ref's hand hit the mat for the 3 count. Shaddix again can not believe it. }

Shaddix is getting to his feet. He waits on JackHammer. JackHammer takes his time getting to his feet. Once on his feet he staggers right into a BOOT to the midsection. JackHammer bends over and Shaddix nails THE SHADDOW CUTTER

Simon Daye: Can Shaddix over come the 133 lbs differences.

Shaddix goes for the pin. The ref is in position and begins his count. 1....2... 3 JackHammer kicks out but the ref says it is too late.

Shaddix stands up and the ref raises his hands in victory.

JackHammer gets up and he goes over to the ref and begins to argue with him.

Angel could not believe it. JackHammer got pinned by Shaddix

Simon Daye: The Shaddow Master just took out the big guy. Shaddix still has that momentum. Can it carry him into his next match

Jaymie Boone: Have to wait and see

JackHammer is pissed. He looks around the ring as if he is trying to find someone.}

Simone Daye: I wonder if he is looking for Sexy Jason?

{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}

Simon Daye:Tonights Main Event promises to be one for the ages, as nCw's resident enforcer, takes on his younger brother, the Xtreme American Dream himself.

Jaymie Boone: The blood feud going on between the family Diamond has been amazing so far, and like most battles it started over a woman.

Simon Daye: Actually it started over Rob being jealous of Mike.

Jaymie Boone: Tomato, tomato.

Simon Daye: Yeah... In another place Chris Diamond was known as Maniac, and it appears that tonight he wishes to be known as that again. HERE COMES MANIAC!

Dig by Mudvayne breaks the silence of the crowd as they go strait to cheering as loud as possilbe. Maniac rushes out on the stage and begins pounding himself on either side of the head with his fists as pyro begins exploding all around him like a war zone. Maniac begins to step forward, with every step more pyro explodes from the stage in his wake. Maniac reaches the ring and stands in front of the apron for a moment, letting the lyrics sink in. Then just as the chorus is about to begin he leaps from the floor to the ring apron followed by yet more pyro. Maniac steps through the ropes and heads across to the other side of the ring. He stands on the second and top ropes dead center between two posts, his left arm holding the ropes for balance, his right flailing wildly to incite the fans. Maniac gets off the ropes and slowly backs up to the center of the ring, raising both fists high over his head and screaming at the top of his lungs as again the arena is assaulted with pyro. The music dies down and Maniac heads to his corner.

Simon Daye: Wow, Chris looks just as goos as he always did.

Jaymie Boone: I'm impressed.

Honor by Atreyu starts playing as the lights in the arena go out and are replaced by strobe lights flashing, red, white and blue. Finally all lights converge on the stage where Rob Diamond stands, rolling his wrists. He begins to make his way to the ring, two shots of pyro go off on either side of him as he makes his way down the ramp. Rob reaches the ring and rolls in under the bottom rope. Once he's back to his feet he runs across the ring and stands on the first and second ropes camera side and points at himself with his right thumb yelling into the crowd telling them to "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!" The music dies down and he waits for the match to start.

Jaymie Boone: You know, for a pissed off punk rocker, American whatever, Rob ain't half bad looking himself.

Simon Daye: Can you ever just appreciate a match without being concerned what the wrestler's look like?

Jaymie Boone: No.

The ref barely gets to ring the bell as Chris and Rob go right for each other. Rob ducks a big clothes line and comes back with three hard right hands before taking Chris and whipping him against the ropes, as Chris comes back Rob hits high knee lift which sends Chris flipping over Rob's knee to his back. From there Rob locks in a rear chin lock and pulls back as hard as he can. But Chris using his strength manages to break free from the hold. Rob goes off the ropes and is looking to boot Chris in the face but Chris hits a back body drop. Chris is up and goes off the ropes, Rob stands up and Chris nearly takes his head off with a huge clothes line. Chris rips Rob back to his feet and hip tosses him hard, Rob slides as he lands and Chris comes in from behind slamming his knee into Rob's back, then a clubbing strike around Rob's shoulders and into his chest. Chris stands Rob up then lands a Full Nelson slam. Chris goes for a pin but Rob kicks out.

Simon Daye: After some initial back and forth, Chris almost took this one home early.

Jaymie Boone: I would of pegged Chris for the dark horse in this match, it's just been so long since he's wrestled, but he is definitely showing he's still got it.

Simon Daye: You never know, this could be the beginning of the return of Maniac to pro wrestling.

Jaymie Boone: Not if Rob has anything to say about it.

Chris stands Rob up but Rob comes back with a European upper cut that knocks Chris back, from there Rob takes Chris' head and brings him down with a running bull dog. Rob is up, Chris is on all fours, Rob boots him in the side of the head then he goes to the corner. Rob gets up on the second ropes, Chris stands up and Rob comes off the second rope hitting a tornado DDT. Rob goes for a pin, but Chris kicks out. Rob sits on Chris' chest and goes for some hard right hands but Chris grabs him by the throat and chokes him till he gets off. The ref breaks the choke. Chris staggers to his feet, Rob runs at him and Chris goes for another clothes line but Rob ducks it, hits the ropes and comes back with a shoulder block to the backs of Chris' legs. Rob gets right up and hits a Dragon sleeper DDT.

Simon Daye: I'm not sure Chris was entirely expecting this much or kind of offense from Rob. It almost seems like he was expecting Rob to be afraid of him.

Jaymie Boone: It's what you call the "Big Brother Mentality."

Simon Daye: Yeah, well, Chris needs to snap out of it if he expects to take down his little brother. Rob has had allot more recent in ring experience than Chris, not to mention a hand full of bigs wins to his credit.

Jaymie Boone: I'm sure the veteran has a few things up his sleeve.

Rob pushes off the mat and takes a hold of Chris' head, bringing him to his feet. Rob hits a kick to the gut then goes for a suplex but Chris reverses it into a snap suplex, turns Rob over, stands up, and hits another snap suplx, Chris is going for the trifecta, and turns Rob over again, he goes to lift him for a third but Rob blocks it by locking on to Chris' leg, Rob then reverses it into a Northern Lights Suplex that he bridges for a pin. Chris kicks out at two. Both men are a little worn out but they start to get to their feet. Rob throws a big right hand that sends Chris into the ropes but he comes back with an even bigger right hand on the rebound that drops Rob to one knee, Rob pivots off his feet and rockets into Chris' jaw with a big upper, Chris falls into the ropes and Rob runs at him with a clothes line, both Diamond's fall to the outside.

Simon Daye: Both Diamond's got to the outside.

Jaymie Boone: And you and I both know this won't end well for either of them.

Simon Daye: Too many outside factors to account for. Ring barriers, steel steps, chairs, tables, this match could go south fast.

Slowly Rob gets to his feet, Chris follows suit. Rob punches him in the face, Chris hits him back, Rob grab Chris by the head and pulls him down then knees him in the face. From there Rob Irish Whips Chris into the steel steps, Chris hits hard and slumps over them. Rob peels up the arena floor padding. The ref's count had reached eight and Rob rolls in and out to re start it.

Simon Daye: Rob is planning something sinister.

Jaymie Boone: That padding is there to protect the wrestlers from hitting the concrete surface below.

Simon Daye: It looks like the floor is about to become weapon.

Jaymie Boone: Oh no, please, i hope Rob isn't about to do what I think he's going to do, not with his brother's neck in the condition it's in.

Simon Daye: Rob's mind has been all over the place lately, who knows what he's planning?

In obvious pain, Chris pushes off the steps and turns right into another hard kick to the gut by Rob, Rob then pulls Chris up for a pile driver right on the hard, uncovered, concrete arena floor. Chris' head hits with a sickening impact, his neck doubling over, and sick looking grin all over Rob's face. The ref jumps out of the ring to check on Chris as everyone in the arena goes silent. Rob pushes the ref back and says their finishing this match.

Simon Daye: DID YOU SEE THAT!?

Jaymie Boone: Chris' neck could be broken in half, and Rob seems amused by it?

Rob stands Chris up, ignoring the ref's argument and rolls him in the ring. Once inside, Chris Diamond stays motionless as Rob gets in the ring and begins to stalk him. The ref looks very unwilling to watch, but does as Rob grabs Chris by the hair and pulls him to his feet. Rob smiles again then spits in Chris' face before hitting the Diamond Cutter.

Jaymie Boone: Thats it, it's all over.

Simon Daye: Now all Rob has to do is pin him... No...

But Rob isn't done, instead he looks in the Sweet Dreams, Chris is out, he's completely helpless, and the ref finally calls the match, declaring Chris unable to continue.

Simon Daye: Insult to injury, he knows his brother's neck is shot, and still he feels the need for a pile driver on the arena floor followed by his submission finisher, the Sweet Dreams. Rob is sick.

Jaymie Boone: Chris doesn't deserve this, he hasn't done anything to anyone, and look at Rob, he's smiling.

From out of the crowd, Mike Honcho jumps the ring barriers, Rob sees this and rolls out of the ring. Mike slides in and next to his fallen father, cradling him as the paramedics scramble to the ring.

Simon Daye: Mike is here to save the day, but it looks like he's too late. We gotta go folks, tune into Collision for an update on Chris Diamond.

The paramedics get to work putting Chris in a neck brace as Rob slowly makes his way up the ramp laughing at his brother and uncle.
