Simon Daye: Welcome to Trauma fans, we have a great show for you tonight.
Willy Carter: It's going to be pretty good, we got some good stuff going on tonight.
Simon Daye: With that said, how about we get straight to it.
{The string-and-guitar intro of "Awake and Alive" by Skillet heralds the arrival of Divine Intervention. Tempestad walks down the ramp, riling up the crowd a la HBK, as Father Gabriel Karras and Sister Desiree follow him down at a slower pace. Tempestad darts under the bottom rope, kipping up and continuing to work the crowd. Gabriel hands the Bible he's carrying to Desiree and slides in as well. Desiree walks to a position by the announce table to observe. Both men retreat to a corner, where they discuss which man will start the match, among other pieces of strategy.
The opening of "Move" by TFK blares over the PA system and a spotlight shines on the stage with a glow as Philip Burns is being raised from a hidden hole in the stage; He is wearing a red ragged leather jacket that hangs all the way to below his knees with his logo on the back. He takes a few steps forward. The spotlights follows him as he journeys down the ramp, taking a second to pose in front of the ring for the cameras. He rolls into the ring and removes his jacket. Burns then stand in his corner, ready for the match to begin.
The lights dim as Muse's "Uprising" begins to play. Green laser lights flicker on the stage as the hooded Venom walks out onto the stage. He looks from left to right at the screaming fans ready for the next match and then ascends down the ramp. He stops halfway down and drops to one knee and spreads his arms as pyro blasts up on the stage behind him. As the last pyro blasts he runs and slides into the ring and stands up in the center and rips off the hood and spins around in the center of the ring as the music dies down.}
SD: This is another in a series of tag team match-ups that are an attempt by Philip Burns to find the perfect tag team partner. And this week his partner is Venom.
WC: Simon this is another case of Burns being paired with a random person against an established tag team. So far it has been a winning formula but only time will tell if this lasts or not.
SD: Burns has that guaranteed tag title shot and he doesn't want to waste it on someone who is not going to have his back.
{Burns and Venom chat for a moment in the ring, then shake hands and decide Venom with start things off against Karras. The bigger man Karras initiates a lockup but the smaller man Venom slips through his legs and appears behind him, bounces off the ropes quickly dropkicks him in the back, sending him staggering across the ring. He runs toward the big man but is caught in a sidewalk slam. Karras gets up and goes for a leg drop, Venom moves and GK gets nothing. Venom dropkicks Karras who is sitting on the mat, knocking him on his back. He then quickly drops an elbow on him and makes a pin for only a one count. Karras easily kicks out. Venom tries to stay on the offensive with a sleeper hold to take the big guy down but Karras stands up, carrying Venom on his back. He carries him into the corner and smashes him back first into the turnbuckle causing him to lose his grip. He slams him with a back elbow smash and then an uppercut. He reaches back for another right hand but Venom ducks out, sending Karras into the corner. Venom takes a step back and runs at the cornered Karras and jumps on him to hit a hurricanrana!}
SD: This is really the only way to overcome the size difference. You have to nail offense that your opponent himself is not accustomed to using in order to wear him down and even out the fight.
WC: Venom has been doing a good job of that so far. Burns has got to be making note of this.
{Burns claps his hands to get the crowd going and they clap along. Venom waits for Karras to stand and runs at him for a head scissors but Karras in desperation simply slams him into the corner. And makes the tag to Tempestad. Things are a little more even now on the size front but Temp is fresh. Tempestad sets Venom up in the corner and monkey flips him into the center of the ring, then off the ropes for a springboard leg drop and then a pin attempt for a short two count. Venom is quickly up, realizing he is engaging someone with a similar style he quickly blocks a kick attempt by Tempestad and grabs the leg. He sweeps the other leg sending him down to the mat and drags him into the corner where he tags in Philip Burns to a good reaction.}
WC: Burns in and ready to go to work.
SD: You have to believe that had Venom not started again the larger opponent we would be seeing a wrestling clinic between him and Tempestad right now.
WC: No doubt. Karras doesn't have the prettiest offense but he certainly knows how to slow down an opponent.
{Burns step in a Venom holds Tempestad back as Burns hits with with a straight right hand. Venom exits the ring. Burns Irish whips Temp and comes back with a high knee on the rebound sending him down to the mat. Burns then runs over to the enemy corner and right hands Karras off of the apron. He turns his attention back to Tempestad who he did not expect to be up already. Temp is on his feet however and lands a head scissors, sending Burns for a ride. Phil recovers to his knees only to be hit with a shining wizard! There is a two count but Burns powers out and crawls away form Temp. Temp chases him down and grabs a leg, pulling him back to the middle of the ring. Burns kicks Tempestad, sending him into his own corner where a now recovered and enrage Gabriel Karras makes a blind tag. Phil doesn't see this and goes on the offensive. He snap-mares Tempestad into the middle of the ring then dropkicks him in to the back. Temp grabs his back in agony and tries to get away but Burns brings him to his feet and sets him up for a stalling vertical suplex. He stalls it, holding Temp upside down for a few seconds. Unbeknownst to Burns, the legal man, Karras, is now in the ring and he catches a big boot to the face sending both him and Tempestad to the ground.}
WC: Excellent play. The hardest offense to defend against is that which you do not know is coming.
SD: And there was no way Burns could have known that was in the works. I barely saw the tag and we have monitors!
{Karras tosses Burns into the corner and sets him upside down in the tree of woe. He hammers in stomach shots to Burns over and over, causing Venom to try and enter the ring. The referee tries to stop him. Noticing the refs attention being diverted he uses his foot to choke the trapped Burns. The life is leaving Burns, his face is red from both being upside down and lack of air. Venom can take no more and powers past the ref. He jumps on Karras from behind and takes him away from Burns. Venom has a rear choke locked in and Karras flips him over his back, sending him to the mat. He grabs Venom by the throat and pulls him to his feet. He looks to be going for a Russian leg sweep on Venom but Burns out of nowhere nails an ax handle smash to Karras back Karras stumbles forward, knocking his own partner off the apron. Venom rolls out of the way and Burns nails Karras with a Burn Notice! Tempestad tries to springboard in and interrupt the pin attempt but Venom dropkicks him out of mid-air. Burns with the pin: 1...2..3!}
Winner: Burns and Venom.
WC: Wow it got really fast paced at the end there! One minutes there's a guy upside down, the next there is some crazy drop-kicking and finishing moves going on.
SD: This is the action we have come to expect in nCw. Anything can happen at any given moment. Divine Intervention certainly held their own but there is arguably no stopping Burns on his quest to once again be the dominant tag team champion.
WC: He wants so bad to stop being remembered as the guy who was carried by Angel and although I never thought of him that way, he is doing a great job changing some minds.
{Burns and Venom have their hands raise as DI look on. Karras belittles the fans as they cheer for the winners. }
~{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}~
Willy Carter: What a night so far folks! The main event is coming up and what a main event it's going to be.
Simon Daye: I'd say! Two hotties in the middle of the ring, in one hell of a cat fight!
Willy Carter: The Golden Goddess Cleopatra is going to face The Frozen Phoenix Tara Fenix here tonight. A lot of words have been said between the two of them, but the moment of truth is coming.
Simon Daye: That's right. It's put up or shut up time for these two women. Lets get ringside and get this started!
Announcer: Coming to the ring at this time, weighing in at 134lbs, and hailing from the Isle of the Gods, The Golden Goddess, the Queen of Kings, The Queen of Egypt... CLEOPATRA!!!
{The house lights go down, and a golden spotlight goes over the crowd, as the tron above the stage comes to life. the word "Forever" is whispered as "Forever May Not Be Long Enough" by Live begins to play over the sound system. Out of a white mist, four figures appear carrying a golden barge, with Ayla St. James following behind dressed in a white toga with a golden Laurel upon her head, carrying a small gold box in her hands.}
Willy Carter: What is Ayla doing out here?
Simon Daye: I don't know, but you it must have something to do with the friendship that she and the Golden Goddess have.
Willy Carter: Indeed. Tara will have to watch her back a little bit closer now.
{On the barge Cleo is lying with the golden death mask over her, as well as the golden wings of Isis wrapped around her. The four figures are very well built and dressed in Egyptian Slave outfits, and the masks of Anubis, Osiris, Thoth, and Ma'at. A golden shower of sparkles falls over them as they head to the ring, carrying the Golden Queen. They reach the ring, and they set the barge down, with two of them lifting the heavy golden death mask from her face.}
Simon Daye: How much do you think that mask is worth?
Willy Carter: I don't know, but it is a beautiful piece if nothing else... But the real question is how can she breathe under that thing?
Simon Daye: Don't know, but she knows how to make an entrance if nothing else.
{She sits up, as the four slaves and Ayla bow down before her, as she gets off the the barge, and heads for the ring, with crook and flail in hand. She reaches the ring, and walks up the stairs, and climbs in heading for her corner, removing the golden crown, and sets the crook and flail down, to await her opponent.}
Announcer: And her opponent weighing in at 135lbs, and hailing from San Antonio, Texas, the Frozen Phoenix, the Frozen Savior, the Queen of Queens, TARA FENIX!!!
{ The lights quickly flicker out as the crowd is all waiting in anticipation for the arrival of the next combatant, we suddenly hear the words over the entire PA system: “I’m a soldier…” repeated three more times while light blue strobe lights are the only visible lights throughout the whole arena. Already, the crowd has erupted into a choir of boos since they know who’s coming out. As the first verse comes up, she finally emerges from behind the curtains, with an evident scowl across her face as she looks out at the crowd that is still booing at her and some start to flip her off as Tara begins to make her way down the entrance ramp…while on the ramp, she stares to either side of her at the crowd that’s all in the front row, she moves to one of the sides and appears to be talking to one of them.}
Willy Carter: Tara really has her work cut out for her here tonight. Cleopatra isn't going to give up that easily, and neither will she. This match is going to be one for the ages I think.
Simon Daye: It will be if Cleo has Ayla help her. I mean what better way to distract the ref then to have some one at ringside?
Willy Carter: Indeed. Cleopatra said she would use everything necessary to win, and she really does mean anything.
{By the reaction of the fan that she has gone to suggests that she was tossing a few insults at them before continuing down the ramp, and walking towards the steel steps…after getting to the apron of the ring, her hand glides across the top rope before turning to face the crowd and hooking both arms around the top rope to stare out at the crowd, a smirk hidden behind her bandanna, loving the reaction that she got out of the crowd. She finally steps between the top and middle ropes before removing the hoodie, bandanna, and sunglasses, and taking them over to the timekeeper before going to one of the turnbuckles and putting her feet at the second post, while sitting on the top, waiting for the bell to sound and the match to get underway. Cleo just stares across the ring at her, and turns around slowly handing Ayla something before turning her attention back to Tara.}
Willy Carter: What in the hell did Cleo just hand Ayla?
Simon Daye: I didn't see anything.
Willy Carter: Thank God you're not the ref.
{The bell sounds and Tara hops down from the ring post and comes to the middle of the ring, as Cleo does. Cleo slaps Tara across hard across the face giving her a fair warning that the match wasn't going to be easy. Tara turns back to Cleo, and the two of them lock up. Tara gets the upper hand and hits Cleo with a hard shoulder into the gut sending Cleo to the mat Cleo is back on her feet before Tara can get down to the mat to do any more damage to her. Cleo comes back at her with a Russian sweep face breaker to the mat. The crowd is mixed with boos and cheers for her, as she runs to the rope and hits a flying double boot to the back of Tara. She cries out in pain, as she rolls around the mat. Cleo goes for an early pin... 1... Tara gets the shoulder up and head butts Cleo backward.}
Willy: Some nice moves there by Cleo, trying to keep her opponent down on the mat.
Simon Daye: That had to hurt. I think I heard her back crack when Cleo leapt on it.
{Tara is slowly making her way to her feet, as Cleo just smiles evilly to herself, and grabs Tara once again and tries to hit the unprettier, but is pushed back into the ropes by Tara. She gets to her feet fully and heads to the top rope, only to be knocked down by Ayla. The crowd erupts in boos and Cleo spots Tara in the corner, and sets Tara back up onto the top rope and hits through the Star Gate, sending Tara back to the mat. She goes for the pin... 1... Tara gets the shoulder up, and grabs Cleo by the hair, and tosses her aside, as she gets to her feet, and goes for the top rope again.}
Willy Carter: Damn! Ayla is helping Cleopatra cheat! It figures!
Simon Daye: What do you expect? Ayla is one of her loyal followers after all!
{Cleo is slowly getting to her feet, only to be knocked back down with a split legged moonsault, and goes for the pin... 1... Cleo gets the shoulder up and hits Tara with a face claw. Tara falls back with hands at her face, as Cleo slowly gets to her feet.}
Willy Carter: Nice come back from Tara.
Simon Daye: Not as nice as the one from the Golden Queen.
{The ref warns Cleo about using her nails, and she just shrugs him off as she grabs Tara by the hair, only to get hit in the gut with a hard elbow a few times. Cleo goes down to he knees, as Tara goes for a missile drop kick sending Cleo to the mat, and locks on a crossface chicken wing. The ref gets down onto the mat, and asks if Cleo wants to tap, she shakes her head no, and tries to make it to the ropes.}
Willy Carter: This could be the end for the Golden Goddess right here.
Simon Daye: What in hell is Ayla doing?
{Ayla is opening the small bag that Cleo had given her, and runs to side of the ring. Cleo closes her eyes, as Ayla tosses a hand full of what appears to be dirt into Tara's face. Tara lets go, and stumbles around the ring, as Cleo just smiles at Ayla. The ref warns Ayla that if she does it again, then she would be banned from ring side. She backs off and stands with Cleo's escort.}
Willy Carter: Did I see small pieces of bone in that dirt?
Simon Daye: I don't that's normal dirt Willy...
{Cleo gets up to her feet, and grabs Tara only to be pushed back into the ropes. Tara finally manages to get her eyes clear and rushes Cleo with a spear, sending her over the top rope into the waiting arms of her escort. They set her down, and Cleo just smiles raising her arms to the crowd, only getting booed. She slides back into the ring, only to be hit by Tara coming down, and locking in the sharp shooter. The ref hits the mat once more keep his eyes on Ayla the whole time, and asks if Cleo wants to tap, but once again Cleo refuses to quit. She grabs Tara by the hair and slaps her hard across the face once again sending her into the ropes. Cleo slowly makes it to her feet, only to be hit with a tackle sending her to the mat once again. Tara goes for the pin... 1...2... Cleo gets the shoulder up as Tara smacks the mat in frustration.}
Willy Carter: You know that has to be hard. Tara is getting close to pinning the Golden Goddess and it's still not enough yet.
Simon Daye: Not quite. If Tara wants this win then she'll have to get the upper hand for as long as she can.
{Tara drags Cleo up and hits a tornado DDT sending Cleo to the mat once again, trying to keep her opponent down. She goes for the pin... 1...2... th... Cleo gets the shoulder up just in time and rakes Tara across the face, sending her to the mat. Ayla distracts the ref by trying to get into the ring, while Cleo grabs the crook and puts across Tara's neck, choking her before the ref comes back. She tosses the crook aside, and pins Tara. 1...2... Tara gets the shoulder up, only to have Cleo lock in the Shining Triangle(Takers Triangle Hold), as the ref hits the mat asking Tara if she wants to quit. She shakes her head no, slowly trying to get out of the hold. The ref counts and tells Cleo to let go. She does and gets to her feet, leaving Tara gasping for air.}
Simon Daye: The Golden Goddess almost had her right there! That would have been a perfect end to it!
Willy Carter: Yeah but the choking before hand wasn't necessary. Cleopatra is trying everything to win this match, whether it's legal or not!
{Cleo just smiles and looks down at Tara who is still gasping for air. She knocks Tara back to the mat, as Ayla slides in one of the gold pins without the ref seeing. He was still making sure Tara was alright. Cleo sticks the pin right at the base of Tara's spine, and she screams out in pain, as Cleo takes it out and slides it back to Ayla, and goes for the Serpent's Coil, and locks it on, as the ref hits the mat and asks if Tara wants to tap.}
{Cleo locks it down hard, and doesn't let go, as Tara finally taps. The bell sounds and Cleo keeps the lock on, trying to take the life out of Tara who is still struggling to get out of the hold. The bell sounds again and Cleo lets go, as Ayla slides into the ring, and helps Cleo to her feet, and raises her arm in victory.}
Announcer: And here is your winner CLEOPATRA!
Willy Carter: I can't believe that! Cleopatra cheated and the ref didn't even see it!
Simon Daye: It's not cheating if you don't get caught! And from what I saw... She never got caught once!
{Cleo tells Ayla to get Tara to her feet, and take her to the ropes. Ayla places Tara in the ropes, and hands Cleo the flail, and just bows to her.}
Willy Carter: What is she planning on doing?
Simon Daye: I don't know but I think I like where this is going!
{She cracks Tara across the back with the flail, and Cleo smiles as she hears Tara cry out in pain. After a few hits she gets Tara lose and hits the Mummification on her, as her and Ayla celebrate once more before heading backstage with the escorts following behind, as her theme begins to play.}
Willy Carter: Why didn't someone try to stop them?
Simon Daye: It could because of the company that she was keeping.
{Security and the EMT's rush out to check on Tara, as Cleo watches from the entrance way.}
Willy Carter: She looks pleased with herself doesn't she?
Simon Daye: I say she did a good job on Tara!
Willy Carter: You would. Well that's all from us here in New Jersey folks. Please join us next week when we'll be in Madison Square Gardens for a Night To Remember. Good Night!
