{Trauma kicks off with the opening video and music playing, we are taken to ringside with Simon Daye and Willy Carter}
Simon Daye: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another edition of Trauma. We're coming to you live from the Richmond Coliseum, from Richmond Virginia. The arena is sold out, and we have one hell of a show for you tonight, don't we Willy?
Willy Carter: That we do. Another Inter gender Tag match, between the Jersey Devil Diva and Charlie Velez versing Joe Everyman and Maria Williams, not to mention the former tag team champions are here with us tonight taking on Philip Burns and Xavier Cross. Let's get on with our first match of the night. This should be good.
Simon Daye: The Jersey Devil Diva is trying to make up for the loss she had against Tara Fenix last week. I know I wouldn't want to mess with her.
Willy Carter: Speaking of which, her she comes now...
{The house lights go down, as a spotlight goes over the crowd. As the spotlight comes to a stop at the back of the entrance way, as "Run This Town" begins to play. A picture of the Italian Flag appears on the screen with the letters F.B.I over the flag, with the words "FULL BLOODED ITALIAN" is written underneath.}
Simon Daye: She's only been here two weeks and she already has some that wants to see her go down.
Willy Carter: Indeed. Tara Fenix and the Jersey Devil Diva are not through.
{It soon changes to scenes of mob hits, newspaper clippings from just recent to the late 1900's, but soon changes once again, to shots of the Mafioso, sitting in a large office, and in limos, and in arena's from times since past. The spotlight focuses on four figures figures standing at the back of the ramp. This is Joanne and her bodyguards.}
Announcer: Making her way to the ring at this time, weighing in at 135lbs, and hailing from Jersey Shore, New Jersey the Don of Jersey Shore, the Jersey Devil Diva herself.... JOANNE CANELLI!
Simon Daye: I wonder are the rumors true?
Willy Carter: What rumors?
Simon Daye: That she sleeps with guns under her pillow at night...
Willy Carter: I have an idea... When you get a chance why don't you ask her?
{They make their way down the ramp with Joanne in the middle with Reno and Rude on either side, and Scarpaci following behind, talking among themselves ignoring the crowd around them. When they reach the ring, Reno holds open the ropes for her, as she slips inside, only to follow behind and stand in the middle of the ring, around her. She removes her jacket, and hands it to one of the guys, before they head out of the ring.}
Announcer: And her partner... weighing in at 236lbs, and hailing from Chicago Illinois, CHARLIE VELEZ!
{The lights shut off, as “Killer” by Drake is heard from the PA systems. A spotlight shines onto the top of the entrance ramp, and out emerges Charlie Velez, wearing a black towel on his head, with his head down.}
Willy Carter: Pompas ass!
Simon Daye: Why do you say that?
Willy Carter: Look at him... He's full of himself because he has money, and doesn't use it to help the common man.
Simon Daye: He doesn't have... He's f***in loaded!
{After a few moments Charlie takes off the towel and puts it around his neck and he slowly walks down the entrance ramp. He stops at the bottom and looks around the arena before walking up and leaping onto the apron, and then heading into the ring.}
Willy Carter: I don't care Simon if he was piss poor! He's still an ass! Him and Canelli are made for each other as far as I can see.
Simon Daye: That's a good thing. She has connections all over the place and he has the money... I wonder how that would work out?
{He walks to the nearest corner and climbs up to the second turnbuckle and once again observes the arena. He steps off and turns towards the entranceway, waiting for his opponents.}
Announcer: And their opponent, weighing in at 236lbs, and hailing from our nation's Capital JOE EVERYMAN!
{The Unforgiven II by Metallica starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage.}
Willy Carter: There he is. Can he and Maria take down Bonny and Clyde here tonight?
Simon Daye: Who in the hell are you talking about?
Willy Carter: Canelli and Velez! Who did you think... Never mind.
{Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the apron. Joe Everyman walks up the steps and climbs into the ring. He looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.}
Announcer: And his tag partner, weighing in at 115lbs, and hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, MARIA WILLIAMS!
{Wheels by Foo Fighters, begins to play, as Maria makes her way down the ramp. She blows kisses to the fans, as they cheer for her. She waves to Joe and giggles a little bit as she reaches the ring. Joe holds open the ropes for her, as she slides into the ring, and waits for the match to start.}
Simon Daye: This is going to be a great match!
Willy Carter: You know that this match will be anything but fair with those two over there...
Simon Daye: That just makes it all that much better!
{The teams talk among themselves trying to decide who will get the first chance at getting into the middle of the ring. Joanne and Charlie just nod at each other, and Joanne steps out into the middle of the ring, as the crowd cheers and bows for her. Maria then steps out into the middle of the ring, as the arena erupts with cheers. The bell sounds, and the two women lock up. Joanne gets the upper hand with a German suplex sending Maria to the mat. Maria hits the mat hard, and starts to get to her feet as Joanne tries to go for Maria's hair. Maria hits Joanne with a hard drop kick, sending the Jersey Devil Diva back to the mat.}
Willy Carter: Nice move by Maria. She's being smart and not letting the Jersey Devil Diva take control of the match here tonight.
Simon Daye: C'mon Joanne, gouge out her eyes!
Willy Carter: It's nice to see you're being supportive!
{Maria sees that Joanne is still down on the mat, and goes running to the second rope and hits a moonsault only to hit the mat as Joanne rolls out of the way just in time. Joanne gets down on the mat, and starts in on Maria with hard mounted punches to the face. The ref tells Joanne that's enough and tells her to stop. Joanne just smiles and nods, before hitting Maria one more time a little harder then the last before getting to her feet, dragging Maria up with her by the hair. Maria hits Joanne with a couple of hard shoulder thrusts to the midsection causing Joanne to let go, and stumble backwards toward her own corner.}
Willy Carter: This could be the first tag in of the night!
Simon Daye: Who cares? It was just getting hot!
{Joanne makes the tag, and Charlie jumps in over the rope, as Maria scrambles to make it to her corner to tag in Joe. She makes the tag, and gets out of the ring, as Joe and Charlie lock up.}
Willy Carter: Nice tag. Now it's going to get really good!
Simon Daye: Ahhh... Bring back the girls!
{Joe manages to get behind Charlie, and hits him with multiple german suplexes, sending Charlie down to the mat. Joe goes for an early pin. 1... Charlie gets the shoulder up, and head butts Joe sending him back to the mat holding his head that is now slightly aching.}
Willy Carter: Damn! Everyman had the right idea. Get Velez down and keep him from getting the upper hand or any where near those ropes and turnbuckles.
Simon Daye: That's not going to stop Velez... He's resourceful.
{Charlie gets to his feet, and goes to the top turnbuckle hitting a diving elbow and connects with Joe's chest. Charlie goes for the pin... 1... tw... Joe gets the shoulder up, and shoves Charlie off of him sending him to the mat, only to get up and get another tag in. Joanne steps into the ring, and waits for Joe to get back his corner taunting him.}
Willy Carter: There is really no need for that! Look at her...
Simon Daye: I'm looking...
{Joe makes it to his corner, and Maria is furious. She comes at Joanne with a missile drop kick. Joanne side steps her and just smiles and smacks Maria square on the ass sending her into the opposite corner. Joanne walks over to the corner, as Maria turns around, only to get hit with a hard right sending her to the mat in the corner. Joanne starts mudhole stomping her as the ref comes over and tells her to stop. Joanne hits one hard stomp and drags her up, irish whipping her into the other corner.}
Willy Carter: My God, look at what Canelli is doing! She's getting the upper hand here now. This doesn't look good for Maria!
Simon Daye: Don't be silly! The fans are just loving it. Listen to them!
{The crowd roars as Joanne rakes Maria down the back, sending her into the middle of the ring with a hand on her back. Joanne begins playing to the crowd, and doesn't notice Maria slowly getting to the top turnbuckle. Charlie yells to her, but it's to late, and Maria hits a hurricanrana, sending Joanne to the mat, and goes for the cover... 1...2... Joanne gets the shoulder up, and eye rakes Maria, sending her back to the mat holding her face, as Joanne gets up slowly and heads back to her corner.}
Willy Carter: Damn Canelli! She's using every trick in the book to get this win here tonight!
Simon Daye: What's wrong with that?
Willy Carter: She's cheating you moron!
Simon Daye: Jeesh! I was just asking... You didn't have to yell at me...
{Joanne makes the tag and Charlie is in the ring, waiting as Maria makes her way over to where Joe is waiting to be tagged. Maria makes the tag and Joe jumps over the ropes trying for a screw plancha over the top, but comes up short as Charlie steps back, and rolls Joe over for an easy pin... 1... 2...thr... Joe gets the shoulder up just in time, as Charlie sighs, and grabs him up, only to be hit with a snapmare, sending Charlie to the mat. Joe goes for the pin once again... 1... 2... Charlie gets his shoulder up and grabs Joe, hitting him with a hard right closed fist. The ref warns him not to do it again, as he makes it to his feet.}
Simon Daye: Damn what a hit!
Willy Carter: This is why I can't stand behind a man like that!
Simon Daye: This is one hell of an opening match don't you think?
Willy Carter: I do, but Maria and Joe really need to step it up if they want to win it here tonight.
{Charlie gets Joe into a crippler cross face and locks it down. Joanne cheers on Charlie from the corner while Maria screams for him to let go. He applies more pressure, as the ref gets down on the mat, and asks if Joe wants to tap out, but says no. The ref counts to five, and Charlie lets go, and gets to his feet, dragging Joe up with him, only to get hit with an elbow to the midsection, doubling Charlie over in pain. Joe hits the Leviathan Spine Buster, sending Charlie to the mat once more, and goes for a pin... 1...2.. but the ref is being distracted by one of the Mafioso, and doesn't notice that Joanne was being handed a pair of brass knucks, and slips them into her pants pocket. She nods and Reno backs away from Maria who was ready to kick him in the face if need be.}
Willy Carter: DID YOU SEE THAT?!!
Simon Daye: See what?
Willy Carter: Joanne has an illegal weapon on her!
Simon Daye: No she doesn't...
{Joe gets up from the pin, and walks back to his corner, and tags in Maria, as Charlie slowly gets to his feet. Joanne beats the corner post, wanting to get into the ring to get at Maria. Charlie reaches the corner and tags Joanne in. She slips through the ropes as Maria hits her with her with the Dragon kick sending her to the mat. Maria goes for the pin...1... but the ref notices Joanne's foot on the bottom rope. He tells Maria to let her up, that her foot was on the rope. Maria argues with the ref, as Joanne hits Maria with a back rake. She screams in pain, and turns around only to have Joanne hit her with the Mob hit, sending Maria to the mat with a hard kick right to the face. Joanne goes for the pin... 1... 2... Maria gets the shoulder up and Joanne cannot believe it. She gets to her knees, and drags Maria up with her, only to get a drop kick in the mid section followed by a monkey flip to the mat. Maria goes for another pin... 1...2... Joanne gets the shoulder up once again, and head butts Maria sending her back to the mat, before slipping the brass knucks on her hand.}
Willy Carter: Is she going to do what I think she's going to do?
Simon Daye: Use those wonderful brass knucks... I hope she does!
Willy Carter: Is the ref blind?
{As Maria staggers a little bit, Charlie distracts the ref by trying to get into the ring, and Joanne hits Maria with the brass knucks and tosses them to one of the guys before going for the pin. Charlie steps out of the ring, and as the ref turns around he sees Joanne ready for a pin. He hits the mat and counts... 1...2...3 The bell rings, and Joanne gets to her feet, as Charlie steps back into the ring.}
Announcer: And here are your winners by pin fall... The Jersey Devil Diva Joanne Canelli and Charlie Velez!
Willy Carter: I can't believe she got away with it!
Simon Daye: I can! Like James Davis said... She knows how the business works, and is smart when it comes to throwing down.
Willy Carter: The officials should check all of them from now on... Not just her!
Simon Daye: That was brilliant! I'm really starting to like her.
Willy Carter: You would. We'll be back after this.
~{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}~
After the first snare roll stops, Freakke enters the ring and raises his arms to shoulder height and spins around some. He then turns for the second snare solo and holds up a backwards peace sign. When the lyrics start, he runs down the ramp getting close to both sides to get in touch with the fans. Once close enough to the ring he slides and stands up. He climbs the turnbuckles once each and hollers to the fans to get louder. After this he begins to remove his coat and hat and wait for his opponent.
Simon Daye: “Here he is! Ladies and gentlemen, the carnival has come to town! After managing to beat Hardcore Harry in an Xtreme Rules match last week, he's got momentum, but does he have the strength to take on a contender like Jason Blair?”
Willy Carter: “Freakke's a goof-off for the fans, but he'll need to drop the act and buckle down to get the dubya this week. Still, you're right. He's on a MAJOR roll.”
The arena goes black and the opening drum pattern for Nonpoint's “In the Air Tonight” starts up. A chorus of boos erupt from the crowd. They know who's coming, and they don't like it. The suspense builds as spotlights circle the otherwise dark ramp.
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord ..oh lord
Pyro erupts, momentarily drowning out the loud, rabid fans. Jason Blair emerges from the smoke, an angry, cocky smirk pursed on his lips. His eyes are focused on nothing but the ring. He walks slowly to ringside, reaching it as the second chorus hits. He steps through the ropes methodically, before looking out into the crowd in disgust. He leans on the turnbuckle, awaiting the start of the match.
Willy Carter: “This Jason Blair seems pretty vicious. How do you think Freakke's going to be able to handle him?”
Simon Daye: “Not well. If I know anything about guys like this, the Carnival King's going to be in for a lot of pain.”
The bell rings, signaling the start of the match. Blair immediately moves in for a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Freakke obliges, but is quickly overpowered. Blair turns his advantage into a bearhug, grinning as Freakke yelps, driving even more air out of his lungs. Jason pulls back, compressing the Carnival King's abdomen and lower back.
Simon Daye: “Jason Blair, picking up on the injury Freakke sustained last week on Suspense with a bearhug. Depending on how much he aggravates the damage, he might cause him to tap!”
Freakke manages to pull one arm free, letting loose with a slap across the face. Blair breaks the hold, enraged, and scoops a startled Freakke up, dropping to one knee as he nails a vicious backbreaker. Not content with just one, he whips Freakke into the ropes and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, capping it with a uranage backbreaker. Freakke hops around on the mat in pain, clutching his lower back area. Jason in with the cover. 1...2...and Freakke manages to kick out, wincing as he does so.
Willy Carter: “Freakke got his shoulder up, but you know that back's already a liability.”
Jason groans, grabbing Freakke's legs to set him up for a Boston crab, but the former Clown pushes off with his feet, staggering the Sensational One. Freakke manages to get back to a vertical base, but Blair kicks him in the gut, going for another backbreaker. Freakke manages to wriggle out, dropping Jason with an inverted DDT. He runs as fast as he can for the turnbuckle and climbs, managing to jump off and catch Jason as he stands with a hurricanrana. Freakke flows through and hooks the leg. 1...2...but Jason forces his way out.
Simon Daye: “Speaking of close calls, Freakke nearly getting Jason Blair with that hurricanrana.”
Freakke stomps away at Jason, backing off when the ref demands him to, only to run forward and drop a knee on Jason's face. Blair convulses, holding his nose, which gives Freakke the chance to lock in the STRAIGHTJACKET! He wrenches the dragon sleeper as Blair thrashes to get out of the strangling hold. Referee Bob Mailville drops down, asking Blair if he submits. Blair shakes his head furiously, but he's visibly beginning to sag.
Willy Carter: “Freakke looks like he wants to beat those words about his status back down Jason's throat...or rather make sure he can't say anything else after this.”
Simon Daye: “The Straightjacket's a devastating submission hold. The question now is if Jason can hold on long enough to break the hold or reach the ropes.”
Willy Carter: “For his dignity's sake, I hope so. Can you imagine what it'd be like for him to lose to this guy he cut down so much? It'd be embarrassing!”
Jason manages to roll towards the ropes, fingers outstretched. Freakke tightens the sleeper, trying to prevent him from getting there. Blair's arm begins to sag as he desperately reaches for the bottom rope one more time...and his fingertips brush the rope, allowing him to get a grip on it and hold on for dear life. Mailville orders Freakke to break the hold, but he gets no compliance until a four-and-a-half count, upon which he breaks the hold. Mailville reprimands Freakke, allowing Jason time to catch his breath. The Carnival King takes Bob's talk for only so long before giving him the “talk to the hand” gesture and running back to attack Blair...but the charge gets stopped cold by a spinebuster which drives the wind out of Freakke and leaves him on the mat in pain. Jason picks Freakke up, smiling cruelly to the crowd, and hits the Extra Ordinary suplex into the turnbuckle. Blair lazily covers with one foot. 1...2...and a shove-off at what seemed like 2.9 by Freakke!
Simon Daye: “Right back to the back area for Blair, and it almost paid off. Guess his cockiness cost him that chance.”
Willy Carter: “Dude's talented, but he's gotta learn to respect his opponents. If he had actually tried for a cover there, we might have had a winner already.”
Blair, furious, rolls Freakke on his side and backs up, delivering a massive soccer-style kick to his lower back. Freakke actually screams at this, and Jason grins, rolling him onto his stomach. He gives a cut-throat signal, drawing massive heat from the fans.
Simon Daye: “And here comes the New Sensation, it looks like! This could be the end for Freakke!”
Jason moves in and locks in the surfboard part of the New Sensation, but before he can drive Freakke down, the Carnival King bellows his submission to the ref, who turns and calls for the bell. Jason drops Freakke down hard, as Amber Ashe gets on the mic to announce the winner.
Amber Ashe: “Here is your winner, by submission...Jason BLAIR!”
Jason wastes no time, rolling out of the ring and grabbing a steel chair from by the timekeeper. He gets back in the ring, measuring Freakke for a chairshot and brushing off Bob Mailville's attempts to take it from him.
Simon Daye: “Wait, what the hell is Blair doing?! Dammit, he's already won!”
When Freakke manages to get to his feet, he is greeted by a chair shot straight to the forehead. He goes down in a heap, and Blair nails him twice more before Mailville's able to get the chair away. Jason drops down out of the ring, grinning, and signals to an unconscious and bloody Freakke with a cut-throat again.
Willy Carter: “To answer your question, he looked like he was sending a message. We'll be right back, people...”
~{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}~
Silence fills the arena as they await to see what’s up next. Finally sparks start shooting upwards at the top of the ramp, the lights dim as blue and green laser lights ignite the center of the curtain. “You’re Going Down” by Sick Puppies starts blaring. As the chorus sets in, Xavier Cross steps into the arena with a towel draped over his head and shoulders. He stands, motionless at the top of the ramp, before bending down on one knee. He holds his head down, staring at his hands, before popping up and pushing the towel down off his head. His pyro explosion goes off in the background as he starts to make his way down the ramp.
Amber Ashe announces the first competitor: “Introducing the National Champion…….Hailing from Lexington, Virginia…..Weighing in at two hundred and twenty-seven pounds……….Xavier Cross!” Cross shows virtually no emotion as he walks towards the ring, not acknowledging anyone. He makes a beeline for the steps and bounds up them in a flash before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. XC heads over to the bottom right corner of the ring and bends down in front of it. He mouths something before tossing the towel out to an assistant at ringside and steps up, backing into the corner. Our National Champion stands, awaiting the sound of the bell.
Simon Daye: First is Burns’ partner, the National Champion.
Willy Carter: I wonder what they’ll call themselves. Hot Cross Burns?
Simon Daye: How about Burning Crosses.
Willy Carter: Racist *BLEEP*!
The opening of "Move" by TFK blares over the PA system and a spotlight shines on the stage with a glow as Philip Burns is being raised from a hidden hole in the stage; He is wearing a red ragged leather jacket that hangs all the way to below his knees with his logo on the back. He takes a few steps forward. The spotlights follows him as he journeys down the ramp, taking a second to pose in front of the ring for the cameras. He rolls into the ring and removes his jacket. Burns then stand in his corner, ready for the match to begin.
Simon Daye: And here he is, the man of the hour, Phillip Burns.
Willie Carter: How is he the man of the hour, he just got back about an hour ago from a long hiatus.
Simon Daye: That’s what I meant.
A soothing southern twang of a guitar wafts through the arena speakers. The intro then quickly transforms into the opening riff of “Heaven” by Uncle Kracker as Johnny Rotten and Jayson Matthews, step out from behind the black curtain to a large amount of cheers from the nCw crowd. Johnny stands in the middle of the ramp, swigging on a long neck bottle of some Pabst Blue Ribbon, as the young energetic Jayson Matthews runs from side to side successfully hyping up the crowd in attendance. The duo fist bump and then they begin to make there way down the ramp.
Simon Daye: Are they stumbling?
Willy Carter: I guess they are. Did they have too much to drink?
Johnny Rotten places his palms on the top rope and pulls himself onto the apron and swings his legs over the top as Jayson just hops over with the minimalist of effort. Jayson hangs over the top rope using the second rope as support and Johnny stands behind him. They both throw there rock hands in the air as pyro shoot from the turnbuckles. The music slowly fades as the McM await the match to start.
Willy Carter: Those Motor City Mafia guys are drunk, they are stumbling.
Simon Daye: They can’t seem to figure out which one wants to be in the match first, but I don’t think this is going to matter, the fans are kind of not happy about this.
{The match begins with Jayson and Cross staring off the match. The ref calls for the bell, and the match begins. Matthews is stumbling a bit, as he tries to go into battle with Cross, who quickly takes him to the ground with a stiff kick to the midsection. Jayson gets back to his feet, wobbling a little bit and Cross grabs him and flips him over for a beautiful Belly to Belly suplex. He goes for a pin early on; One…Two…Kickout by Matthews. The fans are really getting behind Cross, but he tags in Burns just to keep fresh.}
Simon Daye: Motor City Mafia better sober up quick, or they haven’t got a chance here.
Willy Carter: So what did you want to call Burns and Cross?
Simon Daye: *Nervous* Burning Crosses.
Willy Carter: Racist *Bleep*! I say Hot Cross Burns.
{Burns makes a run at Matthews, who backs up only to be slapped by Rotten, tagging himself in. Rotten falls over the top rope, trying to do the “Big Man” over the top rope entrance, falling flat in front of Phillip Burns who just turns to the crowd like “Are these guys serious?” He gets a chuckle and a cheer out of the crowd as he pulls Johnny up to his feet. Burns punches Rotten right in the face, before lifting him up, and hitting a devastating Stalling suplex on the obviously inebriated member of Motor City Mafia. He quickly covers as the fans are cheering for him. One…Two…Kickout!}
Simon Daye: And again, Motor City Mafia can hardly muster up offense.
Willy Carter: You better not dare say that name again, we’re going to call them Hot Cross Burns or else.
Simon Daye: *Gulps* Ok, and Burns is going in for the kill! He just hit the Burn Notice out of NOWHERE on Rotten.
{Burns, with the fans behind him, nails the Burn Notice as soon as Rotten gets back up, and goes in for the cover. One…Two…And Jayson comes in to break it up. He kicks Burns right in the head, picking him up and nailing him with the Jayson Matthews Experience, putting Rotten’s out-cold body on top of Burns before leaving the ring. One…Two…THR-KICKOUT BY BURNS!}
Simon Daye: Wow…Burns kicked out from that one.
Willie Carter: And Motor City Mafia took advantage of Burns thinking he had it won, and now both men are out cold.
{The ref looks down at Rotten and Burns, as Cross and Matthews look on, trying to root on their team mates as the ref counts as they are both on the ground. The fans are getting behind Burns while screaming “Get up Burns! Get up Burns!” One…two…Three. The fans are only getting louder as both men are barely moving. Four…Five…Six… Burns and Rotten are both near their corners, just inches from tagging their partners in. Seven, Eight. Burns tags in Cross, while Rotten gets up, stumbles and falls backwards right into a roundhouse from Cross. Unfortunately for Cross, Rotten falls forward into the waiting hand of Matthews. Matthews tries to jump over the ropes, stumbling as his inebriation is still obvious, and the fans laugh at him.}
Willie Carter: I wonder what these two were doing to make them so tired and drunk.
Simon Daye: This is Motor City Mafia, not Hot Cross Burns, we are talking about. You never know what kind of trouble those two get into.
{Matthews gets up, and Cross is just standing there, laughing at him. The fans join in on the laughing, and Matthews looks like he’s winding up for a punch, but stumbles, falls back into the ropes and gets hit with a Pele Kick by Cross. Cross then lifts up for an Olympic Slam before leaping up top to the ropes for the Air Cross, with the fans cheering him along the way. Rotten crawls into the ring to stop the pin just as Cross covers, but Burns comes in and attacks Rotten with a reverse DDT, allowing Cross to pick up Matthews for the Crossifixion. He follows that up with pushing the downed Rotten out of the ring and helping Burns pick up Matthews for the Burn Notice! Cross covers and the fans count with the ref as he counts the pin. One…Two…THREE!}
Simon Daye: What an odd match. But Burning Crosses won!
Willy Carter: I told you not to say that! Hot Cross Burns, wins the match, after Motor City Mafia shows up drunk.
Simon Daye: Indeed, a great victory for Burning Crosses.
Willy Carter: RACIST *BLEEP*!
~{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}~
Simon Daye: It's now time for our main event
Willy Carter: The Voodoo Child Jimmy Zane and Andrew Jacobsen, the North Star.
Simon Daye: It should prove to be an interesting match at the very least. Two purely talented wrestlers are stepping into the ring tonight.
"Cult of Personality" by In Living Colour begins to echo throughout the arena as multicolored smoke bellows from the entrance area and onto the stage. Strobe lights flicker as the VooDoo Child himself, Jimmy Zane slowly walks through the smoke. The fans boo as he smiles and pyros explode behind him. As the pyros explode, he shoots off like a rocket, flying down the isle in a spring, sliding under the bottom rope and jumping up as he hits the ring. He jumps to the second rope, taunting the crowd and then steps down as he awaits his opponent in the ring.
Willy Carter: I wonder if he and Hexx do anything Voodoo related in between shows.
Simon Daye: I somehow doubt it.
An air raid siren splits the air, followed by the pounding opening riff of Disturbed's "Indestructible". Andrew Jacobsen strides out onto the stage, followed by his manager, Emma Danielson. He looks around at the fans, absorbing the atmosphere. Andrew begins walking down the ramp with Emma, pyro flares going off on either side of him as he makes his way to the ring. He slides in, jumping onto the second turnbuckle. He poses for the crowd, a broad smile on his face. Andrew jumps down and nods to Emma, who goes to sit over by the timekeeper.
Zane returned to the ring and ref called for the bell to kick the match off. The two competitors circled each oither for several moments before finally clashing in the center and locking up.
Simon Daye: And this match is underway.
Zane manages to push off once and pull Jacobsen into a Front Dropkick. The Voodoo Child pops back up and goes to continue his assault but Jacobsen manages get a fist in and clocks Zane across the face with a quick right hand. Zane is only stunned long enough for Jacobsen to get up but its enough. Both men start to circle round each other again. They both go for the tie but this time Jacobsen gets the advantage and he slams Zane down with an STO. Pressing his advntage, Andrew goes for a an Armbar but Jimmy manages to escape before the move is locked in. Both men are up fast and immediately go after each other. Jacobsen goes for another lock up but Zane practically tackles his opponent.
Willy Carter: These two are really going at it.
Simon Daye: It certainly is an impressive showing.
Jacobsen manages to get behind Zane and puts him in a head lock but Zane pushes upwards and manages to gain some control of the situation. Zane throws an elbow back knocking Jacobsen off ohis back and goes to spring off the ropes for a running attack but Jacobsen wastes no time and follows him. The two men collide at the ropes and spill to the outside.
Willy Carter: This is getting really exciting.
Jacobsen helps the Voodoo Child up and then goes for a Suplex but Zane reverses it and Jacobsen lands hard. The ref looks to both of them and starts to count. 1...2...Jacobesn is up and Zane is comes rushing at him. Jacobsen only barely manages to catch Zane and hits him with a Russian Leg Sweep. 3...4...Jacobsen goes for the Boston Crab and Zane can't avoid it. 5...6...Jacobsen lets go and makes for the ring but Zane throws him into the ring post!
Willy Carter: No! Get back in the ring!
Zane pulls Jacobsen up and slides him into the ring and slides in himself, just breaking the count of the referee. Zane climbs up the turnbuckles and waits as Jacobsen pulls himself to his feet, Zane leaps off with a missle drop kick but Jacobsen side steps it! Zane manages to catch himself and lands on his feet but as soon as he does Jacobsen grabs him and hits the Northern Lights suplex! He bridges 1...2...but Zane breaks out. Both men turn over, Jacobsen up first and waits. When Zane stands up Jacobsen comes up behind him to lock him around the waist but just as he does Zane kicks backwards and catches Jacobsen right in the jewels! Zane turns around and hits his Head Shrinker! He covers 1.....2.....3!
Simon Daye: Danggit! Zane steals a win against the X-Division champion!
Willy Carter: And it was looking like such a great match too, and Zane had to resort to cheating to pull this one out...
Simon Daye: Well fans, sorry to say that's all we have for tonight, see you next week!
