Owen McConnough vs. Blake Fields
"Our Time is Now" by Story of the Year begins playing over the sound system and the lights on the entrance way start flickering. Shortly after, the curtain gets pulled back as "The Running Man" Blake Fields walks onto the stage with his fists clenched s**t and his arms towards him as he "yeah!"s, while looking out in the direction of the ring, not caring enough to make any sort of eye contact with the fans. Blake then starts making his way towards the ring with quite the arrogant grin on his face while he stops at the top of the stage to crack his wrists in preparation for the match. While going down the ramp, he keeps his eyes away from the fans and on the ring until he finally reaches ringside. Slowly, he climbs onto the apron and looks at the crowd again, taking the time to point a thumb at himself before entering the ring through the ropes and stopping to lean against them,
Simon Daye: Here is one half of Pure Innovation…Blake Fields.
Jaymie Boone: Actually wrestling a single match.
A steady drumbeat begins over the sound system as soft green lights begin to spin and search around the arena, the fans beginning to bang on the rails to the beat of the Irish-themed music. Once the fiddles and everything else kick in, "The Irish Wolfhound" Owen McConnaigh comes through the curtain, hood up over his head as he throws a 'number 1' finger in the air to a round of applause from those in attendance. He tags his fans' hands on the way to the ring and once he gets there he goes around to the stairs, kissing his knuckles and planting them on the bottom step before heading up them, stopping in the middle of the apron. He looks out to the fans for a moment before ducking through the ropes into the ring, going to one turnbuckle and climbing onto it to throw his arms in the air for the crowd. He pulls his hood off, followed by taking his ring jacket off entirely, then he drops it to the floor, stretching against the ropes, as he gets ready to go
Simon Daye: Here is his opponent Owen Mc Connaigh
{The Ref. finishes checking each wrestler. He signals for the bell. Both men go to lock up. Owen backs Blake into the corner. He gives a clean break. Owen backs away. Blake comes out of the corner. They go to lock up again. Blake grabs Owen in a headlock. Owen sends Blake into the ropes. Blake rebounds and nails a shoulder block on Owen. Owen goes falls to the mat. Blake steps over him and goes into the ropes again. He rebounds and Owen is to his feet and he nails a perfect drop kick to Blake’s face}
Simon Daye: Did you see the height he got on that drop kick
Jaymie Boone: He has blue eyes
{The fans were going crazy. Owen is to his feet and Blake gets to his. Owen nails Blake with a couple of forearms to the face. He then whips Blake into the ropes, and as he rebounds Blake runs into a clothesline. Blake goes to the mat. Owen drop down on Blake and goes for the cover. 1…. 2 Kick out by Blake Fields. As Owen gets to his feet, he helps Blake to his knees. Blake begins to fire right and lefts punches into Owen’s midsection. Owen tries to back away but Blake gets to his feet and he grabs Owen by the head and nails Fireman DDT}
Simon Daye: What a move. Owen tries to get away from those punches
{Blake goes for the cover. 1…. 2… Owen Mc Connaigh gets a shoulder up. Blake gets to his feet. He bends over and helps Owen to his feet. He grabs Owen arm and sends him hard into the corner. Owen hits hard that he falls on his butt in the corner. Blake goes over and Double stomp to the head. Blake picks Owen up and raises him above his head and just drop him stomach first on the canvas. With out wasting any time Blake nails a Moonsault to the back of Owen. He rolls Owen over and goes for the pin. 1…. 2…. 3 Kicked out by Owen Mc Connaigh.}
Simon Daye: I thought Blake had the match won
Jaymie Boone: Owen is going to win this match. He has such beautiful blue eyes
{Blake gets to his feet. He goes to the top rope. Owen gets to his feet and he runs over to the corner where Blake is going to the top rope. Owen nails Blake with a fist to his midsection. Owen gets on the bottom rope. He nails a forearm smash to the face of Blake. Owen is now on the second rope. Blake is trying to fight back. He nails Owen with a right fist to his face. Owen sways backward but was able to keep his balance.
Owen nails a right fist to the side of Blake’s head. Blake is now standing on the top rope. Owen lifts Blake up
Simon Daye: This does not look good,
Jaymie Boone: This could hurt
Crowd is cheering Owen on
Owen delivers a Superplex from the top rope. Blake back nails the mat with authority. Owen gets to his feet and instead of going for the pin; he grabs Blake’s right leg, rolled him over and applies a single leg Boston Crab. Blake is screaming in pain. The Ref is right there asking if he wants to give up. Blake is screaming in pain…and he is saying no}
Simon Daye: There is nowhere Blake can go. After that Superplex his back has got to be hurting.
Jaymie Boone: Is Blake going to tap out
{The ref is again asking Blake if he wants to give up…. again Blake says no…. and he is still screaming in pain. All of a sudden Owen releases the single leg Boston Crab…and goes right into Absolution.
Simon Daye: He is really putting the pressure on
Blake is screaming in pain. He is trying to fight it…. but the pain was too much and he begins to tap like crazy. Owen releases the hold, and he stands up and the ref raises his hands in victory.}
Simon Daye: What a way to start the 14th episode of Trauma.
Jaymie Boone: Maybe Blake should not wrestle single matches
Simon Daye: Fans don’t go away we will be right back after this time out
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
Simon Daye: Welcome back to Trauma. What a show we have for you
Jaymie Boone: We have another single match coming up
Frostbyte vs. Nightmare
All suddenly becomes deathly quiet in the arena as the lights flicker and die, the only light really in the arena right now being the bright white words being displayed on the screen, as the crowd waits in bated breath for what happens next. Suddenly, a voice, female, whispering gently into all of our ears, speaks.
"It is said that in the end of all things,
a new beginning will be found.
But as the shadow creeps once again across our world, and the stench of Terror drifts on a bitter wind..
The people pray for strength and guidance. They should pray for a swift death, for I have seen what the darkness hides. "
A moment's pause...then a sharp gasp as boots begin their footfalls. She whispers again..
"It's not safe here anymore."
The guitars and drums of Tool's 'Parabola' then hit the PA all at once, causing the crowd to hit their feet cheering as blue and dark purple strobes slice blazingly through the darkness. The music continues to rage as the crowd's noise builds up in intensity, until finally, the lights start blazing again as Nightmare is seen now at the top of the stage, head down, body curled in a powerful flex as a bright white firework fountain sprays off behind him, the blazing purple strobes and fireworks showcasing his body. Finally, two white firework cannons shoot off to end the fountain, and Fear Himself stalks toward the ring, eyes burning a hole through the squared circle. Once he reaches the ring he hops up on the apron, facing and then looking out to the crowd, tensing every muscle in his body before he throws his head and arms back in a powerful roar. Once his display is through he ducks through the ropes into the ring, standing in the center and showing off the 'N' logo on his gloves before curling his body in a fearsome flex of his muscles once again for the NCW faithful. Finally Nightmare disposes of his jacket and then leans into the corner, as he waits for war to commence.
Simon Daye: Nightmare is in the ring. Can you believe he is 32? Look at the shape of his body. I think he could give Sexy Jason a run for his money
Jaymie Boone: I don’t think so…. Sexy Jason has the sexiest body of all of wrestling
"Is it me? or is it COLD IN HERRRREEE!??!" Frostbyte's voice bellows out of the PA System. The entranceway then fills with turquoise light and dry as as the first few beat's of Avenged Sevenfold's 'Scream' roll in through the arena speakers at the highest of volumes.
Mere second's later as the beat drops and the thunderous lead riff kicks in, a shower of spark's matching in colour to the lights begins to rain over the main gate only to be walked right through by Frostbyte himself carrying his trademark blue baseball bat with 'in case of emergency' carved into the side.
Carving his way through the dry ice on the ramp he slowly makes his way passing fans with a few smiles and a few nods before rolling under the bottom rope and into the ring. He drops the bat, shakes his head at it and gives it a nudge out of the ring with his foot.
Jaymie Boone: Here is his opponent Frostbyte “The Frozen One”
Simon Daye: Frostbyte is going to have his hands full again this week. His opponent out weighs him by 76 lbs…. last week was 116 lbs differences I believe.
{The Ref had just finished checking Frostbyte. He signals for the bell. Frostbyte looks over at his opponent and shakes his head. Both men begin to circle the ring. They go to lock up in the center of the ring and Nightmare just pushes Frostbyte backwards. Frostbyte ends up on the mat. He stands back up. Both men go to lock up again, and again Nightmare pushes Frostbyte backward, and Frostbyte goes into the corner.}
Simon Daye: Nightmare is showing his strength
{Nightmare goes charging into the corner. Frostbyte ducks under and gets out of the way. Nightmare puts the brakes on. He turns around and Frostbyte delivers a drop kick that staggers Nightmare back into the corner. Frostbyte grabs Nightmare arm and whips him across the ring into the corner. Nightmare hits hard and comes out of the corner as Frostbyte was charging in. Nightmare delivers a clothesline to Frostbyte. Frostbyte flips backward and lands chest first on the mat.}
Simon Daye: What a clothesline! I don’t think Frostbyte was expecting that
Jaymie Boone: I think the fans are going to enjoy this match
{The crowd was cheering. Nightmare bends over and picks Frostbyte up. Frostbyte was still recovering from that clothesline. Nightmare grabs Frostbyte in a Belly-to-Belly Overhead Suplex. Frostbyte nails the turnbuckle. Frostbyte grabs his back. Nightmare grabs Frostbyte by the head and lifts. Nightmare has Frostbyte upside…he is allowing the blood to flow to Frostbyte head. He finishes the move and Frostbyte back nails the mat.}
Simon Daye: What a suplex. Nightmare is working on the back of Frostbyte.
Jaymie Boone: Sexy Jason still the sexiest…
Simon Daye: I should have never made that comment.
{Nightmare goes for the cover. 1…. 2… Kick out by Frostbyte. Nightmare did not looked surprise. Nightmare gets to his feet while helping Frostbyte to his. He sends Frostbyte into the ropes. Instead of rebounding, Frostbyte holds onto the ropes. Nightmare comes charging. Frostbyte ducks under and Nightmare goes over the top rope and lands on the floor. Frostbyte tries to catch his breath. Nightmare is to his feet, and Frostbyte use the ropes as momentum and he springboard over them and nails Nightmare with a cross body that takes both men down.}
Crowd is chanting “Holy ****”
Simon Daye: Frostbyte is going right after Nightmare
{Both men are slow getting to there feet. Frostbyte makes it to his first. He grabs Nightmare by the head and rams his head onto the apron. The Ref is yelling at them to bring it back into the ring. Frostbyte rolls Nightmare into the ring. Frostbyte gets on the apron, he goes to the corner…he climbs to the top rope and nails a Leg Drop right on Nightmare chest. He goes for the cover. 1…. 2…. Nightmare gets a shoulder up}
Simon Daye: This is a fast pace match.
Jaymie Boone: Which one can stand the pain the most?
{Frostbyte gets to his feet first. He bends over and helps Nightmare to his knees. For his help, Nightmare decides to throw some Right and left jabs into Frostbyte’s midsection. Frostbyte staggers backwards-allowing Nightmare to get to his feet. Nightmare goes over to Frostbyte and delivers a European Uppercut, which sends Frostbyte back against the ropes. Nightmare turns Frostbyte around and started choking him by using the top rope. Ref is telling Nightmare to make a clean break. Nightmare ignores the Ref. So the ref begins his count. 1…. 2…. 3…. 4… Nightmare breaks the hold. He steps back a couple of steps, then he went right back after Frostbyte. He places Frostbyte throat over the top rope and again started to choke him.}
Simon Daye: I think this is how Nightmare going to slow down Frostbyte
{Again the Ref asks for a clean break. Nightmare ignores him again. The Ref begins his count. 1…. 2…. 3…. 4…. Nightmare releases the hold. The ref pushes Nightmare back away from Frostbyte. Frostbyte falls to his knees…trying to catch his breath. Frostbyte rolls under the bottom rope and he falls onto the floor}
Jaymie Boone: Frostbyte is trying to take a time out
{Nightmare steps thru the middle rope and stands on the apron. He waits on Frostbyte. Frostbyte slowly makes it to his feet. Just as Frostbyte gets vertical, Nightmare leaps from the apron and nails Frostbyte with a Double axe handle to his back. Frostbyte falls face first onto the floor. The Ref was yelling at Nightmare to bring it back into the ring. Nightmare picks Frostbyte up and was going to roll him inside the ring…instead he got a smile on his face and he takes Frostbyte and started choking over the steel barricades.}
Half of the crowd was cheering for Nightmare; the other half was booing him
Simon Daye: Ref needs to do something here
Jaymie Boone: Crowd is a mixture of whom they like
{Nightmare finally pulls Frostbyte away from the steel barricades and rolls him inside the ring. Nightmare looks at the crowd. He is standing on the apron. This is allowing Frostbyte some time to catch his breath. Frostbyte gets to his feet. He sees Nightmare standing on the apron. He goes running and nails Nightmare with a Baseball Slide that sends Nightmare out on the floor}
Simon Daye: Nightmare took too much time not getting back in the ring.
{Frostbyte stayed in the ring, to catch his breath. Nightmare gets to his feet. He gets on the apron. Frostbyte met him at the ropes and nails him with a head butt, which staggers Nightmare. Frostbyte grabs Nightmare’s head and helps him in with a Suplex. Nightmare is holding onto his back. Frostbyte goes to the top rope. He leaps and nails a Frog Splash. He goes for the cover. 1….2….Nightmare pushes Frostbyte off of him. Frostbyte gets to his feet. Nightmare is getting to his. Frostbyte lifts the big man up and delivers a Power slam. Frostbyte goes for the pin again. 1…. 2…. 3 Kick out by Nightmare. Nightmare is holding onto his back after that power slam.}
{Frostbyte gets to his feet. He brings Nightmare with him. He Elbow Nightmare in the back of the head. He places Nightmare head underneath his arm and he goes to the ropes and nails Tornado DDT. He keeps a hold of Nightmare’s head and he gets up and goes into the ropes again and nails another Tornado DDT}
Simon Daye: My GAWG two Tornado DDT’s in a row
Jaymie Boone: Is it COLD IN HERRRREEE?
{Frostbyte goes outside the ring and grabs his bat. He takes the Blue Bat and slams it on the apron. Nightmare is still lying on the mat. Frostbyte gets in the ring. He swings the bat, as is he was going to hit a home run. The Ref tries to confront Frostbyte…but he did not want to get to close to him. The crowd was chanting “Hit him” Frostbyte had a smile on his face. He picks Nightmare up and delivers 'In Case of Emergency' He goes for the cover. 1…. 2…3 NO! Nightmare gets a shoulder up just in time.}
Simon Daye: That was close
{Frostbyte gets to his feet. He grabs the Blue bat and pounds it on the mat. Jaymie jumped at hearing the sound. Simon started laughing. Frostbyte picks Nightmare and sends him crash into the turnbuckle. Frostbyte goes in with a shoulder to the midsection. He does another shoulder to the midsection. After the second one with out wasting any time he applies the Chill Factor. He goes for the pin, he hooks the outside leg. 1…. 2…. 3! He stands up and the ref raises his hands.}
Simon Daye: Frostbyte did it again. He beat Nightmare that had the height and weight advantage.
{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}
Joe Everyman and Scotty Callaway vs. N.A.Z.I.
Hexx walks to the ring to the boos of the crowd with his voodoo making stick in his right hand. He holds it high then slams it down and pyros on the ring post shoot off into the air. Hexx then climbs up onto the apron and into the ring.
Mimic comes steps out onto the ramp and then takes off in a full sprint towards the ring, he dives under the bottom rope head first. He runs to the furthest corner sprints up it and does a back flip off and holds out his arms soaking in the crowds boos.
"You think you know me!"
Suddenly, green and orange pyros start shooting from the front of the stage, straight up and off the front. All the lights in the arena turn into green, orange and white and shine bright, filling the arena.
"On this day, I see clearly.
Everything has come to life.
A bitter place, in a broken dream.
And we'll leave it all behind."
"On this day its so real to me.
Everything has come to life.
Another chance to chase a dream.
Another chance to feel.
Chance to feel alive."
As the pyros stop, Scotty Callaway and Amber Williams come from the curtain and onto the stage. The crowd cheers loudly for Scotty. Scotty then raises both of his arms into the air as another bright white pyro shoots from the front of the stage.
"On this day, I see clearly.
Everything has come to life.
A bitter place, in a broken dream.
And we'll leave it all behind."
As the pyros clear, Scotty stands near the middle of the stage with Amber right behind him. Scotty and Amber start walking down the ramp, side by side. Scotty then high-fives the crowd members down the ramp as Amber walks down the center. As they reach the ring, both stop.
"I'll never long for what might have been.
Now regret won't waste my life again.
I won't look back, I'll fight to remain."
"On this day, I see clearly.
Everything has come to life.
A bitter place, in a broken dream.
And we'll leave it all behind."
"On this day it's so real to me.
Everything has come to life.
Another chance to chase a dream.
Another chance to feel.
Chance to feel alive."
Both Scotty and Amber climb up the stairs and into the ring. Scotty runs across the ring and jumps onto the opposite turnbuckle. Amber moves to the center of the ring. Scotty raises his arms as the crowd cheers more.
"Fear will kill me, all I could be
Lift these sorrows
Let me breathe, could you set me free
Could you set me free"
Scotty then does a perfect backflip and land square on his feet. As he lands, green and orange Brock Lesnar esk pyros shot from the turnbuckles, straight up into the air. Amber then gives Scotty a kiss on the cheek and slides out of the ring and waits by the corner. Scotty then moves to the same corner and waits.
"On this day, I see clearly.
Everything has come to life.
A bitter place, in a broken dream.
And we'll leave it all behind."
"On this day it's so real to me.
Everything has come to life.
Another chance to chase a dream.
Another chance to feel.
Chance to feel alive."
Hammerhead by The Offspring starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place.
"I am the one,
Camouflage and guns,
Risk my life
To keep my people from harm"
"Authority,
Vested in me
I sacrifice
With my brothers in arms"
Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. He looks into the crowd, holding his arm up with belt in hand. Maria Williams walks out from behind Joe and looks into the crowd too. Joe gives Maria a kiss on the cheek as they both start to walk down the ramp.
"Through this doorway,
What's on the other side?
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded
Voices screaming
Let's go!
Come on do it!
Here we go"
Joe Everyman and Maria Williams continue walking down the ramp looking into the crowd. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a Brock Lesnar esk jump.
"I'll take a life
That others may live
Oh that's just the way it goes
I'll shut my eyes
It hammers in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows"
"I'll take a life
Ten others may live
Oh that's just the way it goes
It's playing over and over in my head
Where it'll end
Nobody knows "
Joe Everyman walks up the steps and climbs into the ring. He looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.
"Stay the course
Reasonable force
I believe I serve a greater good
"Smoke and dust
Enemies are crushed
Nothing left
Where a man once stood"
"Through this doorway,
What's on the other side?
Never knowing
Exactly what I'll find
Locked and loaded,
Voices screaming
Let's go
I'm just doing what I'm told "
Simon Daye: And it’s time for our main event!
Jaymie Boone: Wait! Joe Everyman actually showed up?
Simon Daye: What are you talking about?
Jaymie Boone: Oh…nevermind
The opening bell sounds. It is Scotty Callaway and Hexx starting it out. As soon as it starts, Scotty rushes at Hexx and hits a solid dropkick on him. Scotty stands Hexx up and jumps up and locks in his arm around Hexx’s neck, hitting a Tornado DDT on him. Callaway then makes his way to his corner and tags in Joe Everyman. The lights then flicker out as a single spotlight centers on Joe Everyman.
Simon Daye: What is going on here?
Jaymie Boone: It seems like a dark…light…
Simon Daye: Um…yeah
Joe and Scotty are looking around confused. Mimic has dropped down off of the apron, looking towards the entrance ramp. A video starts playing on the screen. It shows an eerie scene of a graveyard, then a mental institution. It then shows a mysterious mask. The screen then goes to static and the lights flicker back on. Joe and Scotty look confused towards the screen as the “Masked Man” walks onto the stage. Then suddenly, Hexx and Mimic roll up both Scotty Callaway and Joe Everyman. The referee counts, ONE…TWO…THRE, kickout! Both Scotty and Joe kick out at the same time. They both get up quickly and kick Hexx and Mimic down. They look towards the stage and the “Masked Man” is gone. Mimic bolts out of the ring and Joe grabs Hexx by the head. He swings around and nails the Twist of Fate on him. Joe gets down for the pin. ONE…TWO…THREE!
Announcer: Here are your winners, Joe Everyman and Scotty Callaway!
Simon Daye: I am confused to say the least.
Jaymie Boone: Yes, but we have just received word that next week, Joe Everyman will take on this “Masked Man” in singles competition live on pay per view, at Transgression.
Simon Daye: Let’s hope we finally get some answers!
