{Trauma opens up to Jaymie and Simon who are ready to call the action.}
Simon Daye: Welcome fans, it's another Saturday and another Trauma ready to kick off!
Jaymie Boone: Should be exciting, I guess.
Simon Daye: Just sit back and enjoy the show Jaymie.
The opening notes of Jet Black Stare’s “Ready To Roll” pump through the speakers as dry ice smoke floods the floor. Red and green stage lights illuminate the entrance ramp and stage. As the line "City lights are burning bright behind me" hits, Andrew steps out, head bowed and arms at his side. The moment the chorus hits, he throws his hands up, shouting in anticipation, and red and green fireworks flare up. He bounds down to the ring, interacting with the fans when he can. Amber Ashe announces his statistics: “On his way to the ring….From Minneapolis, Minnesota…..Weighing in at two hundred and thirty-five pounds…….‘The North Star’ Andrew Jacobsennnnnnnn.” Andrew climbs onto the apron, throwing his hands up once more. He then slides between the ropes and awaits his opponent.
Simon Daye: “We saw Jacobsen make his debut last week in a win over the intimidating Blackheart.”
Jaymie Boone: “Both those guys are rookies. This week he’s facing the battle tested Fergus Callaghan.”
Simon Daye: “Nevertheless, he looked impressive. Let’s see how he handles himself tonight.”
“Flanagan's Ball” by Dropkick Murphys starts to play over the PA as Fergus Callaghan and Montgomery Scott come out onto the entrance ramp. Fergus walks down with helmet on that has a couple of cans of Guinness on it. He drinks the beer as he makes his way down to the ring. Ashe announces the opponent: “Coming down the aisle…Accompied by Montgomery Scott…..From Boston, Massachusetts…..Weighing in at two hundred and twenty-five pounds…..‘The Dublin Destroyer’ Fergus Callaghannnnnnnn.” He gets into the ring and burps while getting ready for the match.
Jaymie Boone: “Ah. Fergus is here. I’m gonna see if he has any extra beers.”
Simon Daye: “Why would you do that?”
Jaymie Boone: “I might need one…..or fifteen to get through this match.”
Simon Daye: “Don’t you ever get excited about anything?”
Jaymie Boone: “I get excited when it’s over.”
The referee calls both men to the center of the ring and they follow orders, staring each other down. The ref demands that Fergus remove his beer drinking cap. Fergus argues with the official as Jacobsen looks on with a smirk. Fergus finally removes the cap, before placing it on his opponent’s head. “The North Star” is confused by this and looks around, before Fergus connects with a left hand, sending him to the mat. The referee motions for the bell to ring, and the match officially begins.
Simon Daye: “What a smart move by Fergus.”
Jaymie Boone: “Yeah, yeah. It was brilliant.”
Fergus follows up his sucker punch with a stiff kick to Andrew’s back as the referee grabs the beer helmet and throws it out of the ring. Callaghan mounts his opponent and reigns down on him with some closed fist punches. The ref pulls at Fergus’ waist to separate the two, distracting him long enough to allow Jacobsen to regain his composure and run at Callaghan. Fergus was ready, ducking a clothesline attempt and rolling up Andrew in a small package. Only a one count, as Jacobsen kicks out quickly. Both men are up as Fergus connects with a kick in the gut and hooks the head lifting up the opponent and bringing him crashing back down in a delayed vertical suplex. He stumbles around quickly enough to catch Jacobsen in a picture perfect armbar. Andrew writhes in pain as Fergus twists his arm to provide ultimate discomfort. Jacobsen reaches for the ropes but is too far. Just as Jacobsen is about to tap, Fergus loses his focus and lets up on the hold, allowing Andrew to riggle loose. Andrew Jacobsen gets to his feet and quickly comes back down on Callaghan with an elbow drop. Both men return to their feet, as Jacobsen bounces off the ropes, sending them back down as he connects with a huge lariat. Pin attempt. 1...2. Kick out by Fergus. Jacobsen is getting fired up and plays to the crowd. Half of them cheer, and the other half are behind “The Dublin Destroyer.” Jacobsen springboards off the ropes and connects with a low dropkick to Fergus’ knee and immediately follows it up with a Russian Leg Sweep.
Simon Daye: “The rookie is on fire. He’s going hard on Fergus right now. (He turns to see Jaymie wearing Fergus‘ beer helmet.”
Jaymie Boone: “What?”
Simon Daye: “Are you drinking on the job?”
Jaymie Boone: “No…”
Jacobsen goes to the top rope and comes through the air with a Senton Bomb, but Fergus rolls out of the ring and Jacobsen crashes and burns on the canvas. Fergus rolls back in the ring as Andrew holds his back. Callaghan sneaks up behind him and hits a reverse DDT, before lifting the opponent back up and hitting a regular DDT. Fergus goes for the pinfall. 1.…2.…Andrew gets his shoulder up in the knick of time. Fergus rolls out of the ring once again and approaches his manager Montgomery Scott. They have a heated discussion over the whereabouts of his beer helmet, and Montgomery points him to Jaymie who is sitting at the announce desk nonchalantly drinking Fergus’ beer. Callaghan angrily stumbles over to the announce desk and yells at Jaymie Boone. Boone stands up and prepares to hand back over his prized possession, but “The North Star” slams his opponent’s head on the desk. Fergus grabs his skull and turns around as Jacobsen grabs him and Belly-To-Belly Suplexes Callaghan through the announce table!
Simon Daye: “Hey! This isn’t the Spanish Announce Table!”
Jaymie Boone: “Yeah. We hablo English.”
Simon Daye: “You know this is all your fault right? You could have just gave him back his novelty helmet.”
Jaymie Boone: “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
The referee’s count reaches six as Jacobsen climbs back into the ring, before rolling back out to break the count. Jacobsen lifts Fergus to his feet and rolls him back into the ring. Fergus stumbles to his feet and Andrew whips him into the corner. He lifts Callaghan up to the top rope and follows suit, hooking his head for a Superplex attempt. Fergus blocks the suplex attempt by grabbing Jacobsen’s penis and balls in the Stubby Shillelagh. Fergus tightens his grip as Jacobsen falls from the top rope and lays on the ground grabbing his nether regions in pain. Fergus flies through the air with a Corkscrew Moonsault, coming down hard across the fallen opponent. He goes for the pin. 1.…2.….Jacobsen barely gets his shoulder up. Fergus doesn’t waste much time in capitalizing, by kicking Jacobsen repeatedly in the chest and back. Jacobsen fights trough the pain, chopping Fergus after every kick, eventually getting the better of the Irishman, and backing him off. Jacobsen lifts Callaghan up, before bringing him down in an Inverted Atomic Drop, before coming off the ropes with the Body Check. Jacobsen goes for the pin. 1.…2.….kicks out at the last possible moment. Jacobsen gets up and lightly argues with the referee, but the official insists it was a two count. Jacobsen struggles to get Fergus to his feet, but manages to lift him in position for the Borealis. He throws Fergus back over his head, but he miraculously lands on his feet and hits a Neckbreaker. Both men lie motionless in the ring as the crowd stomps and claps trying to get them to their feet. After a few seconds, they both manage to bring themselves up, and they exchange punches. Jacobsen goes for the super kick, but Fergus ducks it and tries to lock on a Rear Naked Choke. Jacobsen slips loose and slides between Fergus’ legs and gets behind him before connecting with a neck shattering German Suplex. He doesn’t release after the Suplex however, he brings Callaghan back up and connects with another German. Again he doesn’t release and he connects with a third German Suplex. Following the Hat-Trick Suplexes, Andrew Jacobsen grabs the arm and locks in the infamous Crossface submission. He leans back to increase the pressure to a maximum.
Jaymie Boone: “He hit the Triple Germans and the Crippler Crossface? Somebody warn his wife and kids.”
Simon Daye: “Why would you…? That’s just wrong.”
Jaymie Boone: “Too soon?”
Simon Daye: “Too soon.”
Jacobsen clenches the vicious hold in hopes of a submission. Fergus tries to fight loose, but Andrew only exerts more force. Fergus manages to back up a bit, but still can’t break the hold. However his manager Montgomery Scott sneakily walks over and grabs Fergus’ foot, pulling it across the bottom rope. The referee sees Fergus’ foot on the ropes and calls for Jacobsen to break the hold. The count gets to four before Andrew breaks in frustration. Jacobsen climbs to the top rope and flies off, connecting with a Flying Clothesline on Montgomery, sending him crashing into the barricade. Jacobsen climbs back into the ring and runs at the groggy Fergus, who catches him and plants the opponent with a Tilt-A-Whirl Piledriver.
After a few moments of rest, Fergus goes for the pin. 1.…..2.….Jacobsen barely gets his left shoulder up. Fergus stands up and looks to the crowd who roar with approval. He points at Jacobsen who is now beginning to stir. Callaghan walks over beside Andrew and gets him in a side waistlock, prepping for the Irish Car Bomb. As he gut wrenches the Minnesotan and lifts him in the air, Jacobsen slips out and kicks him in the gut. Jacobsen quickly positions himself for a Powerbomb of his own, and lifts Fergus up, and slams him hard to the unforgiving canvas. Ice Breaker! Jacobsen crawls over and hooks the leg. 1.….2.….3!
Amber Ashe: “Here is your winner…..Andrew Jacobsen!”
Simon Daye: “The rookie has done it. He beat Fergus Callaghan in stellar match.”
Jaymie Boone: “Hooray. It’s over.”
Simon Daye: “Don’t be so excited.”
Jaymie Boone: “Sorry my enthusiasm got the better of me.”
Simon Daye: “Whether Jaymie wants to admit it or not, these two put on a great match. Andrew Jacobsen, ‘The North Star’ is looking like he could be a force in nCw.”
Jacobsen celebrates in the ring, as Fergus is held up by Montgomery Scott and walked towards the back, however half way up the ramp suddenly a barbwire wrapped chair connects with bothe men's heads! The crowd looks on with shock as... Mark Evil is there!?
Simon Daye: IS that!?
Jaymie Boone: It can't be! Mark Evil is dead! We had a show dedicated to him and everythign!
Simon Daye: My gawd.... what is going on here!?
{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}
Simon Daye: Andrew Jacobson just keeps on rolling, and now we'll see if one of these two wrestlers will continue the trend.
Jaymie Boone: They're both rising nCw stars, should be... mildly interesting.
Simon Daye: That's a ringing endorsement coming from you Jaymie.
{Blackheart enters the arena and stands as the opening riffs play. He looks into the crowd and begins to walk to the ring. He is in the ring as the word 'Stillborn' is sung. He enters the ring and looks to his opponent. What expression can be seen beneath the mask is anger and rage.}
{Threshold by Hammerfall begins to play. Mr. Mysterio finally comes from behind the curtain. You can just feel the evil in the air as pyros goes off. He then begins to walk towards the ring. The fans are booing him. The camera pans out in the crowd and you can tell that the crowd is afraid of Mr. Mysterio. Mr. Mysterio steps upon the apron and he just steps over the top rope. He goes to his corner and awaits for the match to start.}
Simon Daye: Here we go Jaymie, will it be Mysterio or Blackheart?
Jaymie Boone: I've gotta go with Blackheart here...
Simon Daye: I guess we'll just have to see.
{The match is under way with Mr. Mysterio charging at Blackheart and kicking him hard in the stomach. He takes BH by the arm and whips him across the ring, and hits him with a spinning powerslam. BH stays on top for the cover 1.... but BH kicks out. Mysterio brings BH to his feet, but Heart drives the point of his elbow into MM's stomach, pushing him back. Blackheart spins around for a discus punch but Mysterio blocks it with is left arm. Mysterio drives his knee up into BH's stomach and ribs slumping him over. He takes Blackheart by the head, and then lifts him with a powerbomb! MM bends over and pushes down on BH with a pin out of the move 1....2.. but BH kicks out.}
Simon Daye: Blackheart is in a spot of trouble early here.
Jaymie Boone: Mr. Mysterio is going to run right over him and win this match.
Simon Daye: You just predicted Blackheart was going to win.
Jaymie Boone: I did no such thing.
{Mr. Mysterio takes BH by the head and pulls him back to his feet hard. Blackheart however grabs MM's head and gives him a jaw buster. Mysterio flies backwards holding his mouth but is quick to get back up. Blackheart is up as well and as soon as Mysterio is on his feet BH charges and lays him out with a big running clothesline. Mysterio hits the mat hard but turns himself over and back to his feet, as soon as he does, another hard running clothesline from Blackheart. Blacheart pulls Mr. Mysterio back to his feet, and gives him a powerbomb right back now! BH hooks his legs and rolls onto Mysterio's chest 1....2..... but Mysterio kicks out now. Blackheart rips MM back to his feet and angrily runs him into the corner, slamming him face first intot he turnbuckle. Mysterio bounces off and takes a couple steps back holding his face somemore, and BH climbs to the middle rope, faces Mysterio and leaps off with a jumping big boot! Blackheart covers again 1...2... but Mysterio kicks out.}
Simon Daye: Blackheart has come right back.
Jaymie Boone: Just like I predicted, he's going to win this match.
Simon Daye: You... nevermind..
{Blackheart slaps the mat and screams at the referee saying it was a three, but to no avail. He pulls Mr. Mysterio back up, nad he goes to give him a pump handle slam, but Mysterio falls out of it and lands on his feet behind BH. Mysterio locks his arms around BH's waist and throws him over with a release German suplex. Mysterio gets up and runs at BH's downed body and curb stomps him right in the chest. Mysterio covers by placing his boot on BH's chest 1..2... but Blackheart puts his arm up, as soon as he does though Myterio catches it and lifts, he pulls BH's upper body off the mat, while still having a foot on his chest and stomps it back to the mat hard! Blackheart lets out a gasp of pain as Mysterio grab him by the head and pulls him back to his feet. }
Simon Daye: Mr. Mysterio looks like he's going to try and put the match away here!
Jaymie Boone: Good, I...
SImon Daye: Stop changing your prediction!
Jaymie Boone; Party pooper.
{Mysterio pulls Blackheart up and lifts him onto his shoulders in a reverse fireman's carry. He looks for the Eternal Damnation but before he can drop Blackheart, BH slides out of his grasp and down Mysterio's back, he rolls MM up through it and hooks a big handful of tights 1.2.3! Winner: Blackheart!}
Jaymie Boone: Just like I said... Blackheart wins the match!
Simon Daye: Yeah.... whatever Jaymie. But Mysterio can't be happy about this, he's argueing with the ref right now, about Blackheart grabbing some tights.
Jaymie Boone: Blackheart high tailed it from ringside so Mysterio's objections don't really mean much right now.
{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}
Jaymie Boone: Why can't I go to sleep?
Simon Daye: You ready for this next match Jaymie?
Jaymie Boone: I just want to find a nice spot and catch a few Z's.
Simon Daye: I'm sorry, but we have a job to do my friend.
Jaymie Boone: Oh... lord, why?
{All Nightmare Long by Metallica starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the aapron. Joe Everyman walks up the steps and climbs into the ring. He looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.}
Simon Daye: Our National champion is out first.
Jaymie Boone: He doesn't see to interested in this match.
Simon Daye: When you have Lance Ryan gunning for you, it's hard to focus on anything else.
Jaymie Boone: Touche.
{{The Somber tones of Avenge Sevenfolds 'Waking the Fallen' play, followed by the guitar. The arena lights go out and a deep red light comes on over the entrance ramp. Gabriel comes out at and kneels at the top of the ramp. He places a bible on the floor, crosses himself, then leans down and touches his forehead to it. He stands, walks to the ring and slides into it. He walks to the corner, and places the bible, then kneels in prayer until the match starts.}}
Jaymie Boone: We ready to go now?
Simon Daye: Both men are here, we certainly are.
{The referee is about to ring the bell when suddenly Joe charges at Karras and clocks him with the National title! Joe shoves the belt out of the ring and screams at the referee to make the count!}
Simon Daye; What a dirty move by Everyman!
Jaymie Boone: pretty smart if you ask me.
{The ref look sconfused as Joe lays on top of Karras and screams at him. Finally the referee calls for the bell and slides into position 1....2... but Karras throws an arm up!}
Simon Daye: But it doesn't keep Karras down!
Jaymie Boone: Oh well....
{Joe looks shocked as he brings Karras back up, he throws GK into the ropes and catches him with a leviathan spinebuster on the way back, and immediately covers again 1....2.... but again Karras kicks out!}
Simon Daye: Karras will not stay down!
Jaymie Boone: Dude is crazy... just take the loss before Joe seriously harms you.
{Joe pulls Karras to his feet and kicks him hard in the stomach, he takes Karras by the head and signals for a twist of fate but Karras holds his ground and lets Joe spin flat on his back. Joe quickly turns over and back to his feet where Karras surprises him with a Gospal according to peter! Karras covers 1....2.. but Joe throws an arm up! Both men roll over and back to their feet. Karras runs and hits the ropes, he comes back and plants Joe with a running bull dog! Karras climbs to the middle rope, and leaps off with a leg drop that lands on target, he covers Joe again 1....2..... Joe just gets an arm up!}
Jaymie Boone: Karras has come right back fighting.
Simon Daye: That guy just does not know the word “quit”.
Jaymie Boone: No joke.
{Joe turns over and uses the ropes to pull himself back to his feet. When he's back up and leaning against the ropes Karras approaches him from behind, but when Karras reaches Joe kicks his leg out behind him and catches Karras with a low blow right out of sight of the referee! Joe turns around, and lifts Karras Everyman screw driver! Joe covers 1.....2....3! Winner: Joe Everyman!}
SImon Daye; What a cheap win by Everyman here tonight!
Jaymie Boone: I've gotta agree with that... he t hrew everything at Karras he could think of.
{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}
Simon Daye: Time for the main event, sponsored by Falcon himself, Jack Hammond versus Steve Awesome.
Jaymie Boone: Finally a match I can get my head around.
Falcon: Would you excuse us Simon?
Simon Daye: Huh?
(Simon looks up to see Falcon standing beside the commentary table, tapping his fingers on it.)
Falcon: Ok, forget politeness... exit.. stage left Simon.
Simon Daye: Why?
Falcon: I'm calling this match. So.. leave... now...
Simon Daye: I don't think....
(Falcon leans down to look Simon in the face, and he gets the message. He stands up and exits.)
Falcon: That's better.
Jaymie Boone: Now that he's gone, yes it is..
Falcon: Don't get too clingy, Jaymie.
{The arena is still buzzing from the night's events, the hubbub of the crowd settling slightly, the audience waiting for the next event. Then suddenly the crash of a cymbal followed by a short guitar riff rips out through the PA, the crowd getting to their feet with a cheer as white lights in the arena start flashing, the Tron showing Jack Hammond as he leans against his 911, grinning confidently, occasionally strobing with his name in bold letters and shots of him flying through the air or delivering a Charger or Mustang from his previous matches, or holding the World Championship or X-Division Title above his head. As the second riff finishes, a pair of drumsticks beat out before the whole band comes in, just as Jack Hammond strides through with a confident grin as the lights flash above him and images of his high-flying antics from previous matches play on Tron as he observes the maddening crowd, before he jumps forwards, landing with a hard stomp, a white pyro exploding behind him, his arms raised as he yells and wheels about. He strides down the ramp towards the ring, occasionally delivering a couple of friendly high-fives to nearby audience members who reach out towards him just as the lyrics start.}
I only wanna feed you less;
Just so I can understand you...
Help me honey, catch your drift;
Baby we can kill the time that's holding you...
{He jumps onto the ring apron before hopping over the top rope, wheeling about, yelling at the crowd, mounting the second turnbuckle to look around the arena, raising his arms. He pulls off his 'How Hard Can It Be?' t-shirt, tossing it into the crowd, before hopping down to the canvas, and then waiting for his opponent.}
Falcon: Ahhh.. little Jack Hammond. Lookit im.. sooo cute...
Jaymie Boone: Awww.. I just wanna hug him!
Falcon: You do that.
{The lights fade to black as a single guitar note blares over the P.A system much like Orton’s old theme. As the drums kick in the lights begin to flash from black to red on beat. Then the guitar begins to rip a good solo as Ronnie Winter starts to wail on the mic.}
“YYYYYEEEAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!”
{It’s at this point that Steve Awesome comes blasting through the black curtain with a huge amount of energy, holding his arms high in the air. He beats on his Steve Awesome T-shirt and throws his arms in the air before walking down to the ring, making sure to toss his shirt to a lucky fan in the crowd..}
Falcon: And there's Mister Road to the Gold winner..
Jaymie Boone: Check out those abs...
Falcon: Settle down Jaymie.
{Steve and Jack look at one another, then Steve offers his hand. Jack hesitates a brief second, the accepts, the crowd popping at the sign of mutual respect. Then they lock up, Steve using his height and weight advantage to gain the upper hand, locking in a wrist lock, and twisting the smaller man around. Hammond rolls through twisting himself back around and reversing the lock. Steve overpowers Hammond and spins around pulling Hammond in for a quick DDT. Steve holds on for a headlock, going to wrap his legs around Jack to synch in the hold, but Hammond wiggles away, rolling himself on top of Steve to intiate a pinfall. Steve has no choice to let go.}
Falcon: That's why these men were former World Champions.
Jaymie Boone: Yea..
Falcon: You're not even watching this are you.
{Both men get up and Hammond rushes in taking Steve down with a single leg takedown, then jumping and landing on Steves back with a quick senton. He follows that with spinning enziguri to the back of Steves head. Hammond rolls over Steve with a cradle pin. 1...2... Kickout at 2. Hammond is up quick, running across the ring and springing off the second rope, diving back in a cross body. But Steve catches the smaller man in midair and drives him down with a powerslam. Steve goes to lock in Everyones Favorite Submission Hold but Hammond gets a foot out on the ropes out of instinct, breaking the hold before it's applied.}
Falcon: For a second there, I thought Steve almost had it.
Jaymie Boone: No.. this can't end.
Falcon: Should I just buy you a calender or something?
Jaymie Boone: They have those?!
Falcon: No.. but might make a mint now that I think about it.
{Hammond pulls himself up on the ropes, shaking off the stun. Steve wastes no time, grabbing him and nailing a high powered German Suplex. He holds on, and nails a second. Steve holds on again, picking Hammond up for a third, but Hammond flips back through, nailing a reverse DDT. Hammond gets up, springing off the second rope for a lionsault. Hammond with the pin. 1...2... Kickout at 2. Hammond backs off, setting in the corner for a Mustang. Steve slowly gets to his feet. Hammond charges, but Steve runs full force at him, meeting him halfway with a devastating spear. Hammond lands sitting in the corner, and Steve drives a dropkick into the prone Hammond.}
Falcon: Steve taking control here. Guess all of my threats worked.
Jaymie Boone: You threatened him?
Falcon: Little slow on the uptake dear.
{Steve pulls Hammond up out of the corner, whipping him across the ring. Steve follows, but Hammond ducks away and Steve collides with the turnbuckle. Hammond gets his second wind and runs across the ring, running up the turnbuckle and leaping off, connecting with a whisper in the wind. Prompting the crowd to ask "How hard can it be?". Hammond steps through the ropes and waits.}
Falcon: Hammond looking to not only win this match. But end Steves world title hopes.
Jaymie Boone: You wouldn't!
Falcon: Of course I would. You really don't know me at all?
{Steve slowly to his feet. Hammond springs to the top rope and leaps off, but Steve catches him. Steve goes to slam Hammond down with a powerbomb, but Hammond holds up pulling Steve down with a hurricanrana. Hammond sets and waits for Steve to stand. Steve stands up, and Hammond drives the knees into Steves chest with a Mustang!}
Falcon: Say Goodnight Steven.
Jaymie Boone: Goodnight Steven.
Falcon: Right...
{Hammond drapes an arm across the chest. 1...2...3!!! Hammond's music plays as Falcon gets up from the commentary table, microphone in hand.}
Falcon: Oh, Steven. Looks like the Hamster beat you. But, I haven't lost complete faith in you. Tomorrow night I'll have a surprise for you. So, just wait until then. Alright?
{Falcon heads up the ramp, as Simon retakes his seat at the commentary table.}
Simon Daye: Well that was annoying.
Jaymie Boone: Wait.. who are you?
Simon Daye: Simon.. your broadcast partner.
Jaymie Boone: Who?
Simon Daye: Nevermind. That's all for Trauma ladies and gentlemen, for Jaymie Boone, I'm Simon Daye. Good night, and we'll see you tomorrow.
