Chris Phere vs. Fate
{“Given Up” by Linkin Park begins to blare over the PA as the crowd come to their feet and begin to applaud the exciting entrance of THE High Flyer of nCw, Chris Phere! Phere pops his head through the curtain as the crowd gets even louder as he leaps up to the edge of the stage and holds up his arms and then sprints towards the ring where he slides under the ropes and climbs up on the nearest turnbuckle holding up his arms. The music dies down as he looks up towards the entrance way.}
Simon Daye: There has been a lot of talk about this match Jamie as Fate, who used to team up with Jack Hammer takes on Chris Phere who faces Jack Hammer at Mind Games!
Jaymie Boone: I think that both of these guys are idiots and neither deserve any praise!
{“Hello Me, Meet the Real me!” The opening line to Megadeth’s Sweating Bullets hits and Fate comes out to the entrance ramp from backstage. The crowd pops as he slaps the hands of a few fans while walking down the entrance ramp to the metal tune, and slides under the ring. He stretches a little using the ropes and he looks like he’s ready for his match. The referee calls for the bell and Chris Phere locks up with Fate and the match begins. Fate has Phere in a side headlock as Chris swings him into the ropes and pushes him off. Phere does a leap frog as Fate continues on through, Phere drops down to deliver a back body drop, but Fate flips over him instead and comes off the ropes and delivers a beautiful running drop kick! Fate lifts a leg as the referee starts to count but barely gets a one count!}
Simon Daye: I knew this match would be a fast paced match as both have very similar styles.
{Fate picks Chris up and swings him into the corner and attempts to follow up, but Chris jumps out and out of the way as he locks his legs around Fate’s shoulders and rolls him up as the referee gets down to count and barely gets a one count himself! Both guys get up and stare each other down as the crowd comes to their feet and begin to clap for the great display of athleticism. Both men give each other mutual respect as the crowd is really enjoying the match. They lock up again as Chris Phere manages to get a rear waist lock as Fate reverses the move into a rear waist lock of his own as Chris Phere reverses it and Fate continues on through with one of his own and then connects with a German suplex! Phere gets up but staggers a bit as Fate leaps up and connects with a hurricanrana! Fate hooks a leg! 1…2 KICK OUT BY PHERE! Phere gets back to his feet and attempts a clothesline as Fate ducks and comes off the ropes and nails Phere with a flying clothesline! Fate is back to his feet as the crowd is starting to get behind him now. He starts to slap himself in the face as Chris staggers back to his feet and Fate comes up from behind him and connects with a BULLDOG! Fate wastes no time as he leaps off the middle ropes and connects with a Moonsault di Destino! Fate lifts both legs of Chris Phere as the referee begins to count!}
Jaymie Boone: This is it, Fate has beat Chris Phere!
{1…2…KICK OUT JUST BEFORE THE THREE BY CHRIS PHERE! Fate looks around angrily and starts to argue with the referee. He then stops and turns around and then looks back at the referee and hugs him. The crowd is very confused as Chris Phere is now back to his feet. Fate turns to Chris and swings at him, but Chris ducks and reaches up and delivers a neck breaker! Chris is slow to get back to his feet, but does about the same time as Fate. Chris kicks Fate into the gut, hooks the arms and connects with a butterfly suplex! Chris holds on to the legs of Fate and clamps in the sharpshooter! The referee is checking Fate as he shakes his head no and is trying to fight over towards the ropes. Phere really has it clinched in as the referee continues to ask Fate if he wants to quit, but Fate refuses. He then begins to crawl his way to the ropes as the crowd is going crazy and reaches the ropes as the referee starts to count. Chris lets go of the hold and pulls Fate to the middle of the ring and kicks him in the chest. He then starts to climb up to the top ropes and is looking for THE STRATOSPHERE!}
Simon Daye: Chris Phere is looking to end this match right here and right now!
Jaymie Boone: HERE IT COMES!
{Chris leaps off from the top, but Fate moves out of the way! Both men are down on the mat as the referee begins the mandatory ten count. Chris and Fate are both slow to get to their feet, but both get up at around the eight second mark. Fate kicks Chris in the gut and grabs him by the arm and begins to swing him into the far corner. Chris reverses it and swings Fate into the corner, but Fate manages to climb up the turnbuckle and hits the FATE’S WHISPER!!! Fate climbs back up to his feet slowly and he’s looking to climb to the top ropes now as the crowd is in a big frenzy. Fate holds up his arms and leaps off into the Inevitable Fate…..CHRIS PHERE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY!!!! Chris slowly gets back to his feet as Fate is up and sprints towards him as Chris lifts him up and HIGH TIMES!!! Chris holds into the pin as the referee begins to count! 1…2…3 NO!!! FATE KICKS OUT!!!}
Simon Daye: Looks like Chris has the momentum in his favor!
Jamie Boone: It can change in a heart beat though!
{Phere picks Fate up and attempts to pick him up, but Fate blocks the attempt and leaps up on the ropes and delivers a Shadow of Death! Both men are exhausted as the referee checks on them both and Fate manages to help himself up by using the ropes. He falls onto the limp body of Chris Phere as the referee starts to count. 1…2…3 NO!!! CHRIS KICKS OUT!!! Fate is literally in disbelief as the crowd is going crazy now.}
Simon Daye: Wait... there seems to be some commotion...
Jaymie Boone: It's JackHammer!
{Jack Hammer is now standing up on top of the stage as the crowd starts to boo him as Brent Sampson is standing beside him smiling. Fate makes a face and points up there and is saying something to them. Chris is back to his feet as Fate turns around and ducks a swing at him and comes off the ropes and connects with a Colpo della Calca! Fate then continues to climb up to the top ropes and leaps off this time connecting with the Inevitable Fate! The referee gets into position and begins to count! 1…2…3!!! FATE PICKS UP THE VICTORY OVER CHRIS PHERE! The referee raises Fate’s hand in victory as Fate slides out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. He lays it out in the middle of the ring and takes another look up at Sampson as Sampson just claps his hands. Fate picks Chris Phere up on his shoulders and climbs to the top ropes and connects with the Morte Goccia through the steel chair! Fate slides out of the ring as Sampson climbs in with Jack Hammer. Fate heads back up the ramp and doesn’t look back.}
Simon Daye: Fate pulled it off, but what is Jack Hammer and Sampson doing out here?
{Sampson takes a microphone out and begins to speak.}
Brent Sampson: Chris, very tough loss tonight but you are in a LOSE-LOSE SITUATION! Give it to him Hammer!
{Jack Hammer grabs Chris Phere by the head and lifts him up as the referee is calling for the bell. Jack Hammer places Phere’s head between his knees and holds up his arms as the crowd boos, he lifts him up and EARTH SHATTER!!!! Chris Phere’s body is broken in half as the crowd is booing wildly as Sampson just laughs.}
Brent Sampson: You will never accuse me of doing something like that again, The Burning is lucky that I fixed this for him because Jack Hammer would have came out here and stuck you both into the ground! Give him another one Hammer!
{"Crazy Train" - Ozzy Osbourne begins to echo throughout the arena as multicolored smoke bellows from the entrance area and onto the stage. Strobe lights flicker as the VooDoo Child himself begins to sprint to the ring and slides him swinging with fists of fury as Brent Sampson quickly clears the ring. Zane attempts to swing Jack Hammer into the ropes, but is reverses as Zane leaps up on the ropes and comes off with a huge springboard insiguri that causes Jack Hammer to clear the ring as the crowd is going crazy! Sampson is beside himself and in disbelief. Jimmy Zane picks up Chris Phere and holds his arm up in the air much to the delight of the Trauma crowd!}
