{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
The guitars and such start playing a slow beat as the arena fall low as a blue spotlight swings around the arena. It keeps picking up, around the 1:45 mark...
Amber Ashe: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Atlanta Georgia, weighing 255 pounds...XAVIER WILLIAMS!
"Luck. Runs. Out."
Xavier steps out from behind the curtain black hoodie and bandanna on, he walks down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope, he takes off his bandanna and his hoodie and he paces around the ring, a look of determination on his face.
Daye: Main event time...
Boone: It cetainly is, and here is the first of two men who have never competed on our show...
As the opening guitar plays, the titantron shows a small white circle with the 'Spade' symbol within it move across the screen, then as it disappears a larger gun barrel appears from the right and moves with a silhouette of The Ace in it into the centre, the silhouette faces the camera draws a gun and fires. The bullet heads towards the screen before shattering a Jack of Hearts. The Ace appears on stage with the four Aces in his right hand and the rest of the deck in his left hand, and he throws them into the air. Huge pyro explodes either side of the ramp as the lyrics to 'You Know My Name' by Chris Cornell begin. The titantron shows The Ace delivering Ace-Plants to Phillip Burns and Showtyme.
Amber Ashe: And his opponent, from Birmingham, England, weighing 246 pounds...THE ACE!
The Ace walks down the ramp through the shower of falling cards. The Ace confidently struts over to the steel steps, he climbs them and steps through the ropes. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air as when he first threw the deck. The Ace then climbs down and he walks to the middle of the ring as the song fades...
Daye: And here's the second...
Boone: It's always a pleasure to watch this man compete when he's in active competition, no matter what show he's on...
Both men lock up in the centre of the ring as the bell sounds, Xavier uses his slight weight advantage to force The Ace back a few steps into the corner. Xavier then runs at The Ace and attempts to bury a knee into The Ace's gut. The Ace however has it scouted and dodges it, forcing Xavier to hit the brakes in the corner. However as Xavier turns around, The Ace strikes his chest with a stiff chop, in return, The Ace suffers a right hand from Williams, surprising him as he starts to stumble back as Xavier fires up with stiff shots to the head, gaining the advantage and forcing The Ace back to the centre of the ring with each blow.
Daye: Holy mother of, would you look at those punches?
Boone: It hurts just to watch...
The Ace finally manages to hit hard chop flooring Xavier, The Ace stomps Xavier's left leg three times before seizing it and looking for the Figure Four, but Xavier expects it and instead rolls The Ace up in an inside cradle....1...2...The Ace rolls a shoulder up...
Daye: That was close right there...
Boone: Seems Xavier has learned from his previous encounters with this man...
Xavier doesn't allow himself to get too frustrated and instead waits for The Ace to get back to his feet, before hooking him up for a suplex, Xavier hits one, but pops the hips to hit a second and then a third before tapping his chest and signalling that he was about to go up to the top rope where he pauses for a moment shouting 'Viva La Raza' and whipping the crowd into a frenzy of 'EDDIE' chants, but instead of attempting a Frog Splash, Xavier tries a 450 but just before it hits, The Ace puts his knees up, buring them in Xavier's gut...
Daye: Xavier took a chance there but it did not pay off...
Boone: And now it seems The Ace has an advantage...
Seeing Xavier favour his gut which he must have hurt on his way down, The Ace kicks him and delivers a snap DDT before kipping back to his feet, he grabs the leg, kicking the hamstring twice before once again attempting a Figure Four...this time he has it locked in and it seems Xavier has nowhere to go...
Daye: I guess persistence pays off...
Xavier struggles and screams in pain, shaking his head as The Ace is yelling for him to tap out, Xavier has his shoulders down...1...2...Xavier rolls one up and seems determined to overturn the hold, slowly he does reversing the pressure and forcing The Ace to break the hold...
Boone: It didn't pay off on that exchange...
The two men separate themselves from one another before Xavier whips The Ace across the ring, and on the rebound The Ace tries a superkick counter, but Xavier ducks and quickly maneuvers it into an electric chair drop position, Xavier staggers a little with The Ace on his shoulders towards the middle of the ring before The Ace counters with an uncharacteristic but opportunistic hurricurana pin cover...1...2...Xavier barely manages to kick out...The Ace seems to get a little frustrated as he drags Xavier back to his feet and whips him across the ring and on the return hits a spinebuster...
Daye: What impact...
Boone: It's obvious from The Ace's style that Ric Flair isn't the only horseman to influence him...
The Ace follows up with a sharpshooter attempt right in the middle of the ring, but after a few moments Xavier demonstrates his power and undeniable will to win by crawling over to the ropes...he grabs the bottom one but The Ace is reluctant to release the hold forcing the referee's five count...1...2...3...4...Ace finally releases the hold sensing the damage to Xavier's lower back and legs had been done...The Ace drags Xavier back to the centre of the ring before bouncing off the ropes and looking to nail Xavier in the face with a rolling knee drop but Xavier rolls out the way...seeing Ace favour the knee as he gets back to his feet, Xavier delivers multiple kicks to it and then three vicious chops to his chest, the last of which floors Ace and Xavier goes for the side leg lock, working the knee...The Ace uses all he can to reach the ropes, forcing Xavier to break the hold but the damage has been done as Xavier rolls back to his feet and catches a hobbling Ace with the Georgia Scorcher...but the crafty Ace senses the pin and catches Xavier off guard into a small package...1..2...3...
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner...THE ACE!
Daye: The Ace trumps Williams yet again...
Boone: Amazing match...and if Ace can do that again at Crossroads, we will have a new Champion... Xavier was on top form, but in the end The Ace showed why he is still considered a top contender for the nCw World Heavyweight Championship...that's all we have time for this week, good night folks...
{Ace helps Xavier to his feet as Trauma fades out.}
