Match 1: Seth Evans vs. DDK vs. JackHammer
Match 2: Amy Marshall vs. Mercedes Lewis
Match 3: Trish Newborn vs. Tara Fenix
Match 4: Chris Cooper vs. Shawn Savage
Match 5: Mike Lazlo vs. Daniel V. Daloham
Match 6: Nathan Webb vs. Lucas Young
The first of the preshow matches kicks the night off with an amazing showing by DDK, Jackhammer, and Seth Evans. After taking a massive Bang early on, Seth powers through the pain and manages to pin Jackhammer after sending DDK through the Spanish announcing table and putting Jackhammer down with the Dream Destroyer.
Roxxxie and Mercedes go after each other for a few solid minuted before Roxxxie takes control. A series of well executed Suplexes allows her to gor the pin and she gets it. Roxxxie wins a well fought match.
Fenix and Newborn start the match off and it looks like its going to be a well fough and very technical match but it quickly gets ugly as these two Starlets practically go for each other's throats. Newborn gets the upper hand with a gut kick but Tara counters the cross body that Trish used to follow up with the Fenixide Kick and makes the pin immediately afterwards. Tara takes a bow as the next match begins to be announced
Savage and Cooper go at it for a while, neither seeming to wear down, a sign of a good long match. However, after Shawn goes for a top rope hurricanrana that fails to move Cooper, he gets planted on the ground with the Splitspike and Cooper pins him. Cooper celebrates as the Shawn tries to get his wind back.
The match opens up with Daloham taking control with almost everyway. The match turns tides though after Laszlo counters the Kingbreaker by slipping under the leg of Daloham and hits the Down Payment! Daloham struggles valiantly but can't escape the Crippler Cross Face that follows and is forced to tap out. Laszlo goes nuts over the victory and the crowd goes nuts with him as the next match comes up.
In the last match before Nothing to Lose Nathan Webb and Lucas Young go at each other almost violently as the bell rings. A lot of back and forth action goes on as the match continues. Nathan tries to end it with the Cold Squeeze but Young gets to the ropes and breaks the submission. Young gets back at his opponent by going for the Silencer but Webb squirms out before Lucas can finish setting up. Webb hits Young with the Brain Freeze and uses the time it gives him to go for the Spider's Guillotine. It looks like Young has it figured out but can't seem to roll out of the way in time. Webb takes the win just as the main show's pyros start to go off.
{After the opening video montage for the Pay Per View and a special thank you card that flashes on the screen welcoming all the fans who voted on the show appears, we are rushed to the arena where the pyros are lighting up the building. The camera pans the crowd and catches their faces and witty signs before we head to Kelly and the gang ready to call the night's action.}
Kelly Knite: Welcome fans to YOUR pay per view, Nothing to Lose.
Eric Hardy: The show you helped to shape and form into what it is. You named it, you chose matches, and you came up with the theme and now we're here!
Willy Carter: Goign to be an exciting night and a good celebration to all the fans that make NCW what it is.
Kelly Knite: it sure is Carter, and to kick off the festivities we have a special opening from my good friend Amber Ashe, our Ring Announcer who will be signing the Start Spangled Banner here tonight.
Eric Hardy: Amber has a lovely voice, this should be good, and a nice thank you to the fans who made this possible.
THE INTERNATIONALS
International Affair
{Amber is standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in her hand when the music begins to play}
Amber Ashe: Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light
On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
{Suddenly, "Around the World" by Daft Punk hit's the P.A., stopping Amber in mid song! The crowd goes nuts in anger as the Internationals come out on stage. Dragon has a microphone in hand.}
Eric Hardy: This is just disrespectful!
Kelly Knite: What the hell are they doing?
El Dragon de Valor: ¡Esté tranquilo! ¡Esté tranquilo! I know NCW is based in the United States, I know that they spend most of their time here, in this country that goes further and further down the toilet everyday. But I thought this was supposed to be a global company. When we visited Europe a few months ago, no one played any of those national anthems. What makes all of you think you're so special?
{The crowd gets riled up and boo even louder as the Internationals walk toward the ring.}
El Dragon de Valor: You all really are morons aren't you? You used to chant "U-S-A! U-S-A!" When Bushido and I would wrestle the "bad guys." Did you not notice our names! Nos llamamos Interciudadanos. We are proud to be from some place other than this soon to be third world country!
{The crowd continues to rain boos upon the Internationals as they climb into the ring. Bushido walks up to Amber and stares her down. She backs away and gets out of the ring.}
El Dragon de Valor: For too long, we've sat back, believing that our skills alone would get us noticed. But NCW obviously has something against foreign wrestlers, so instead, we will force our way into the spotlight that we have rightly earned time and again! As usual, we have no match set for tonight's show. Hemos corregido este mal. We said last month, we would start being featured on PPV from now on! Since NCW did not book us, we bought front row tickets! So not only will we be featured on PPV right in front of the camera, but we can also show all of you how to be true, honorable, respectful wrestling fans! Two birds with one stone, as they say! Then you will know, then you will treat us with honor!
{Dragon hands the microphone to Bushido.}
Bushido: Death...before dishonor!
{Kesuke holds the ropes open for Dragon, Bushido, and Miranda. Security guards come out and surround four chairs in the front row as the Internationals climb over the guard rail. The crowd is still booing like crazy!}
Kelly Knite: That was just disgraceful.
Willy Carter: Well, they already felt disgraced, maybe it was just payback.
Eric Hardy: How could you side with them after all that?
Willy Carter: I don't, but I'm just saying, I see where theyr'e coming from. It was still terrible.
Kelly Knite: Well... lets just get past this stupidity shall we?
Willy Carer: Please.
Eric Hardy: Our first match of the night is going to be the first in the series of Elite X matches over the next few weeks to celebrate the legacy of the X-Division title.
Kelly Knite: Should be a good match, Freakke is a former champion while Caleb Lockwood is rising up the ranks quickly. We'll see which man can pull through this and move on.
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morni--
ELITE X
One Fall
Caleb Lockwood vs. Freakke
To celebrate the legacy of the X-Division title and the on going success of the X Championship NCW has started a series of matches for the Elite X match, after Falcon was rejected as a competitor Caleb Lockwood was chosen in his place and will face off against Freakke.
{The drumbeat of "Rise Above" sounds over the PA, and the sound of harsh guitars ushers in Caleb Lockwood. He grins, bouncing on the soles of his feet and shouting at the crowd, shaking his head.}
Amber Ashe: The following contest is an Elite X qualifying match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Oakland, California, weighing in at 185 pounds, Caleb LOCKWOOD!
Eric Hardy: This opening contest promises to be a high-flying action-packed matchup between an nCw veteran in Freakke and this man, the rookie Caleb Lockwood.
Kelly Knite: Well, it WOULD have been Freakke and Falcon, but my dumbass brother had to whine about it. Still, Lockwood has this shot, and he'll make the most of it if he's smart.
{He fixes his gaze on the ring and grins, charging down. Lockwood leaps into the ring, kipping up and playing to the crowd. His music dies down as he moves into his corner, awaiting the bell.}
Amber Ashe: And his opponent...
{The slow calm intro opens and the masked Clown enters with the heavy riffs. Arms raised, he flips the black hair back and shows the black spaces at his eyes.}
Amber Ashe: From Ravenwood, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 217 pounds, FREAKKE!
Willy Carter: I'm digging Freakke's new feel. He's dropped the crap and he's gonna kick some asses and take some names now, know what I mean?
Eric Hardy: He's certainly become more unstable, but will that translate into in-ring success?
{He strolls to the ring and looks about. He pulls himself up and through the ropes but scoffs as the the music fades and the ref tries to talk with him about the rules.}
{The bell rings and both men circle each other, waiting for one of them to make the first move. After a few seconds, Freakke shoots in for a lockup, only to be met with a stiff kick to the sternum. He staggers back a bit, and Caleb exploits the space opened by that to deliver a big dropkick to the clown, driving him into the ropes. Lockwood hits the opposite ropes, coming off with a springboard crossbody that puts Freakke on the mat! Cover for a one count, as Freakke forcefully kicks out.}
Eric Hardy: It's not usual for Freakke to have the size advantage, but Lockwood gives up over thirty pounds in this matchup. You'd have to think he'll exploit that advantage.
Kelly Knite: On the same note, he usually has the speed advantage, but Caleb might have him beat there. We'll have to see.
{Caleb beckons Freakke to his feet, charging and looking for a Shining Wizard as Freakke rises. The clown ducks, but the parkour specialist lands on his feet. Freakke goes for a quick lariat, but Lockwood runs under his arm, hitting the ropes again and leaping to drive Freakke back into the mat with a leg lariat! Lockwood walks over to the corner and glances back before jumping up and hitting a split-legged moonsault! Cover again! One! Two! And another kickout from the former Carnival King! Caleb gets to his feet, stalking Freakke and clapping his hands to get the crowd into the match.}
Eric Hardy: Lockwood says he's in this business for the love of the game, and he's certainly winning the love of these Madison Square Garden fans here with that unique offense.
Willy Carter: No denying the kid's got chutzpah, but I don't know if he can execute against a guy on Freakke's level enough to put him away.
{Lockwood charges Freakke as he groggily stands, going for a hurricanrana. Freakke counters this by holding him in place, and plants him to the mat with a HUGE powerbomb! Lockwood bounces off the mat, holding his back, and Freakke immediately capitalizes by going for a quick cover! One! Two! No! Lockwood rolls his shoulder off the mat! Freakke stomps him a few times before hauling him up by the hair. The ref admonishes Freakke, who grins a sick grin and gets the go-behind before hitting a bridging German suplex! One...two...and again, Lockwood manages to kick out! Freakke rolls over Lockwood and locks in a camel clutch, prompting Lockwood to arch his back and cry out in pain. The clown grins at the crowd before digging a knee into the vagrant high-flyer's back and pulling back harder on the hold.}
Kelly Knite: So much for high-flying and action-packed, eh Hardly? Freakke seems to have Lockwood's number with this ground game.
Eric Hardy: Certainly not the pacing I expected, but...stranger things have happened.
{Lockwood squirms, managing to get his foot on the bottom rope. Freakke refuses to break the hold, even after the ref's count, and it takes Dafoe prying him off Caleb to break it. The irate clown puts another knee to Lockwood's back before pulling him up. He boots Caleb in the gut and puts him in a front facelock. Freakke hoists Lockwood up for a vertical suplex, but Lockwood flips over mid-lift and drops him with a reverse frankensteiner! Both men are down on the mat, breathing heavily.}
Willy Carter: Oh, DAMN! That looked like it hurt!
Eric Hardy: Beautiful counter there by Lockwood, but can he capitalize?
{The ref begins a ten count, as both men struggle to get back to their feet. 1...2...Lockwood grabs the middle rope as Freakke drags himself into the corner...3...4...5...Lockwood manages his way to his feet, still on somewhat rubbery legs...6...7...Freakke hauls himself up to a standing position, the ref breaking the count. He shakes his head to clear it, but looks back up to see Lockwood charging him, nailing him with a high dropkick that sends him bouncing off the turnbuckles. Seizing the opportunity, Caleb charges the ropes and springboards, coming off with a big roundhouse to the back of the skull! Freakke crumples to the mat and Caleb scrambles to make the cover! 1! 2! NO! Freakke kicks out AGAIN!}
Kelly Knite: Hell of a show of resiliency by Freakke here, taking everything Lockwood has and kicking right on out.
{Caleb waits for Freakke to stand, beckoning him to his feet. He goes to kick him in the gut, but Freakke uses Lockwood's own body to shield himself from the referee and deliver a huge low blow! Lockwood crumples to the mat, doubled over in pain. The crowd boos voraciously as Freakke grins, moving in. Freakke grabs his head and locks on a dragon sleeper, yanking back hard on the hold! He pulls back, wrenching the life out of a struggling Lockwood! Referee Norman Dafoe asks Lockwood if he wants to submit, and only gets a panicked shake of the head in return.}
Willy Carter: And there's that weight advantage Hardy mentioned coming into play, with Freakke getting that leverage on the smaller man. I'm amazed he got that part right.
Eric Hardy: Contrary to popular opinion, I do know how to do my job.
{Lockwood struggles against the hold, but begins to fade away. Dafoe checks his arm, raising it. It falls once! He raises it again...TWICE! He raises it for the third time and drops it...BUT LOCKWOOD CATCHES HIMSELF ON THE WAY DOWN! He starts to struggle, throwing elbows into Freakke's ribcage, only for the clown to leap and drive him into the mat with the Madhouse inverted DDT! The crowd boos as Freakke grins wickedly, mocking them with a crying gesture before rolling Lockwood over for the pin. One! Two! Foot on the ropes! Dafoe refuses to count the three, pointing to Lockwood's foot. Freakke protests, insisting that he count the three. The ref indicates his shirt and reminds the clown who he is. Freakke stands to argue with him, which gives Lockwood enough breathing room to get a lungful of air back into his body and struggle to his feet! He clambers up the turnbuckle, perched and ready to fly.}
Kelly Knite: Bad idea, arguing with Norman Dafoe. The man can dish it out as well as he can take it, after all.
Eric Hardy: I think he should be more concerned with Caleb, though...
{Freakke shakes his head, flipping Dafoe the bird, and turns around only to get hit with a humongous diving hurricanrana! He lands perpendicular to the adjacent corner, and Lockwood looks to the crowd, a huge grin on his face. He runs to the turnbuckle, standing atop it and making a flipping motion with his hands!}
Eric Hardy: Lockwood signaling for that stunning double rotation moonsault he calls the Skyscraper Press! If he hits this, it's all over!
{Lockwood doesn't even look back, closing his eyes and leaping! He rotates once, twice, BOOM! He lands straight across Freakke's stomach as the Skyscraper Press hits dead-on! Lockwood hooks Freakke's leg! ONE! TWO! THREE! Caleb springs to his feet, in disbelief as Norman Dafoe raises his hand.}
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner, Caleb Lockwood!
Eric Hardy: The kid did it! Against all odds, Caleb Lockwood put Freakke away and qualifies for the X Title matchup at Battlegrounds!
Kelly Knite: Kid impressed me here, that's for sure. Looks like the fans love him—WHOA!
{Caleb climbs the turnbuckle, hands high in the air like he's already won the X Title. He points to the crowd, a huge grin on his face, and leaps, getting caught by the people and crowd-surfed back to the entrance!}
Willy Carter: Pandering little...okay, moving on to better things, we got the ever-foxy Starlets up next! I can't wait!
Kelly Knite
X Marks the Spot - Week 2
Kelly Knite: Before we get to our next match thought Carter... sorry to interrupt your drooling but I have a bit of business to take care of.
Eric Hardy: Name drawing time..?
Kelly Knite: You know it..
{Attendants wheel the golden cylinder down the ramp to ringside. Kelly gets up from the commentary table and walks over to it.}
Kelly Knite: If I could have your attention for just a sec, fans. I'll draw the next two names, and we'll see who will have a chance to become participant number two for the X Championship at Battlegrounds..
Eric Hardy: You may remember earlier in the night Calbe Lockwood qualified to be the first man in. Let's see who's next..
Willy Carter: Just remember, it could be anybody.. except.. like.. you know.. important people.
{Kelly draws out the first plastic bubble.}
Kelly Knite: First in next week's match up is... that frosty arachnid, Nathan Webb!
Willy Carter: Frosty what now?
Eric Hardy: Pun on the Cold Spider thing.
Willy Carter: The what?
Eric Hardy: Nevermind.
{Kelly draws the second plastic bubble.}
Kelly Knite: And his opponent will be... that silly little grasshopper, Seth Evans!
Willy Carter: Grass..
Eric Hardy: Don't ask Willy...
Kelly Knite: Now unless my fathers lap dog has any objections...
{Kelly pauses at the mention of Wes Fox, to see if he'll come out. The crowd boo's the mention.}
Kelly Knite: Looks like we're good to go.. tune into Collision next week for more awesome X style action! On with the show!
{Back to Nothing to Lose.}
STARLETS #1 CONTENDERSHIP
Grudge Match
Crystal Hilton vs. Shelly Taylor-Jones
Crystal Hilton gave STJ her first ever loss in NCW and the two have been at odds ever sense. They have continually proven to be two of the best Starlets in NCW and this week they face off one on one and have a chance to gain a world title shot.
{"Again" by flyleaf starts slowly before erupting into the song. Pink strobe lights shine up the entrance as we see a female shaped sillouette.}
"I love the way that your heart breaks
with every injustice and deadly fate
praying it all be new
and living like it all depends on you"
{Shelly Blake-Jones makes her way out onto the stage and down the ramp, her long blonde and brown streaked hair flowing behind her, she slides under the bottom rope and pushes up to her knees.}
"Here you are down on your knees again
trying to find air to breathe again
only surrender will help you now
i love you please see and believe again"
Eric Hardy: And here we are preparing for our second match of the night, look at Shelly Taylor Jones. She looks fired up tonight.
Kelly Knite: I guarantee you that Crystal’s performance from last week is still running through her head. Tonight Shelly will unleash all of her frustrations on her.
Willy Carter: Tonight puts her in a rematch against her nemesis Crystal Hilton. This one should be one for the ages…
All of a sudden “Like Me” by Girlicious starts playing all over the Pa system. All of sudden two spot lights are pointed at the entrance way. Crystal Emerges through the curtains and is greeted by multiple pyros that start shooting off one by one. The crowd roars at her with a loud ovation of cheers and she just turns her nose up at them despite their cheering. Crystal cracks an evil grin as photographers quickly run up to the ramp way and begin to take pictures of her. Crystal smiles as she runs her fingers through her hair and a red carpet is rolled down to the ring. The Rose Goddess slowly makes her way to the ring. She finally makes it to the ring and places one foot on the apron and stretches the other one on the apron as well. She does a split to enter the ring and she finally makes it to her feet. She cracks an evil grin as she just stares over at Shelly. The two lock eyes with one another.
Eric Hardy: Here’s Crystal Hilton, she has been on a bit of a losing streak as of late and with a win against Shelly her career can take a step forward in the right direction.
Willy Carter: Let’s not forget that Crystal has beaten Shelly before a little over a month ago, will tonight be a case of history repeating itself?
Kelly Knite: In any case these women are fighting for the right to be the number one contender for the Starlet’s World Championship and both of them know what is at stake in this one. Expect some great action from the both of them.
{The bell sounds and the match is officially underway. The two Starlets just glance at one another across the ring. They meet in the center where Crystal holds both of her hands in the air wanting Shelly to test her strength with her own. Shelly smiles back as she doesn’t back down. She locks her hands with the Speedy Starlet’s and the two of them are deadlocked in the center of the ring. Shelly however manages to get the advantage as she over powers Crystal. She lifts a knee up driving it right into Crystal’s gut. Shelly doesn’t waste any time as she whips Crystal against the ropes. Crystal quickly bounces off of them and she is on her way back to Shelly who is waiting eagerly for her. Shelly goes for a clothesline but she hits nothing but air as Crystal easily dodges underneath it. The Hollywood Starlet continues to run and just as she reaches the opposite turnbuckle she jumps off of them and launches herself backwards with a springboard cross body. Shelly has her well scouted as she catches Crystal with ease and drops her back across and outstretched knee. She drops Crystal shaking her head at her.}
Eric Hardy: What great action to start things off. It seems like Shelly is in the driver’s seat.
Kelly Knite: Hopefully she has learned from her mistakes since the last time these two fought. She knows not to give Crystal an inch.
Willy Carter: Not only that but if Shelly keeps Crystal grounded and clips her wings, Crystal can’t fly simple as that.
{Shelly doesn’t show boat but she drags Crystal back up to her feet. The latina is in a daze but Shelly doesn’t care as she launches kick after kick on her. Crystal is wobbly and Shelly takes this moment to go for a spinning heel kick, Crystal however ducks underneath it and she drops down to the ground going for an easy leg sweep. Shelly hops over it with her free foot. Crystal rises back up and this time the speedy star is the one to launch some vicious kicks. Shelly is able to catch one of Crystal’s legs in the middle of her kicks and Crystal just smirks as she uses her free leg to snap against the head of Shelly’s head with a well executed enziguri. Shelly falls down to the ground and Crystal kips back up smirking as she stares at the prone Shelly.}
Eric Hardy: Crystal seems to be speeding things up and the momentum has shifted in her favor.
Willy Carter: This is exactly why Shelly needed to clip her wings. Now Crystal is going to jump around like a Mexican jumping bean.
Kelly Knite: Seriously Willy? A Mexican jumping bean?
Willy Carter: Oh go to hell Kelly…
{Crystal backs up a few feet and she grins as she glances over at Shelly. Crystal doesn’t waste that much time as she does a cartwheel, followed by a back flip, she reaches Shelly and tries to finish off her “Smell the Roses” moonsault but just as Crystal does the last flip Shelly manages to bring her knees up and Crystal lands right onto them stomach first. Crystal rolls over onto her side clutching at her chest as Shelly makes it back up to her feet while Crystal remains as a crumbled heap on the floor clutching at her chest. Shelly as she grabs Crystal by the hair bringing her back up. She snapmare’s Crystal to the ground. Crystal is sitting down on the mat and Shelly cocks her foot back and delivers a stiff soccer kick right into Crystal’s chest. Crystal once again is clutching at her upper body and Shelly begins to ascend to the top rope as she antagonizes Crystal to get back up to her feet.}
Eric Hardy: Shelly seems to have scouted Crystal well for this match. Every time Crystal get’s a small opening Shelly is there to seize the moment and turn the tides.
Kelly Knite: Shelly seems to have taken the fight to the air. I am not sure if I agree with this decision she should focus on capitalizing further on the moment. After all a shot at the Starlet’s World championship is at stake you can’t afford to make a mistake in a match like this.
Willy Carter: Crystal is in too much pain to even realize what is going on, give Shelly some slack.
{The Rose Goddess finally brings herself to her feet, Shelly just remains on top of the ropes yelling at Crystal to turn around. Crystal finally does so and that’s when Shelly launches herself off of the ropes with a forward drop kick. Crystal however reaches her arms up and she manages to catch both of Shelly’s legs forcing Shelly to land right on her back. Crystal grins evilly as she turns Shelly over and places her into the Withering Rose. Crystal pulls Shelly’s legs as far back as they possibly can which results in some screams from Shelly. Shelly has nowhere to go as Crystal has her positioned in the center of the ring.}
Kelly Knite: This is why Shelly shouldn’t have gone to the air. It gave Crystal the slight opening that she needed to capitalize and turn the tides around.
Eric Hardy: Crystal has her Withering Rose locked on tightly. I don’t know how long Shelly can afford to stay in this hold.
Willy Carter: Come on Shelly you can bounce back from this.
{Crystal pulls back even further and the referee checks on Shelly asking if she wants to give up but Shelly just shakes her head refusing to give in. Shelly musters up some upper body strength as she starts to crawl towards the ropes. Crystal can’t believe it as she applies even more pressure but through all the pain Shelly just continues to fight towards the ropes with everything that she has. She is just a matter of inches away from the ropes. In desperation she lunges out at the ropes and she manages to grab them. Crystal breaks the hold signaling to the referee that her hands are free but she doesn’t let up as she walks back over to Shelly yanks her away from the ropes. Shelly however takes one foot and shoves it right into Crystal’s face. Crystal grabs at it in pain as Shelly kips back up to her feet. With Crystal hurled over Shelly grabs Crystal and plants her into the mat with her Diamond Cutter. She doesn’t seem to be moving at all as Shelly drops down hooking a leg knowing this one is over.}
Willy Carter: Put a fork in her no one is kicking out of the Diamond Cutter.
Kelly Knite: For once I may have to agree with you Willy, I don’t know if Crystal can get out of this one.
{One….Two…. Thr…. Kick out…}
Eric Hardy: Crystal kicks out!
Kelly Knite: I don’t believe it Crystal somehow manages to kick out of the Diamond Cutter.
Willy Carter: Impressive but Shelly is still in control of this match.
{Shelly cannot believe it as she has an expression of pure shock on her face. She exchanges a few words with the referee but the referee just looks back holding up two fingers with his hand. Shelly finally decides to walk back over to where Crystal is and she helps the Latina beauty back up to her feet. She holds her in position for her Diamond Studded Combo but Crystal drives an elbow right into Shelly’s face. Shelly grabs at her head in pain which frees Crystal up. Crystal takes this small opening to launch her Flashing Lights kick and she connects with Shelly’s temple. Shelly falls down on her back and Crystal grins as she points to the ropes. She walks to the corner smirking as she points at the lights followed by making a camera motion directed at Shelly.}
Eric Hardy: This is shades of what happened the last time.
Kelly Knite: Crystal plans to end it all with her Lights, Camera, Action. If she hit’s it this match may very well be over.
Willy Carter: Come on Shelly you have to fight back girl.
{Crystal bounces off of the ropes and she does an 180 in the air and bounces off the ropes again. She launches herself off of them and gains some great height in the air before crashing down on top of Shelly with a perfect 630 corkscrew senton, she hooks a leg for the pin fall smiling as the referee counts . One…..Two…..Thr….. Shelly gets a shoulder up.}
Eric Hardy: No way! This is unbelievable!
Kelly Knite: Shelly just kicked out of Crystal’s finisher.
Willy Carter: I am speechless…The fans are really getting some high class Starlet wrestling action from two women who just don’t want to lose to the other.
{Crystal is on her knees now grabbing at her hair, stunned just like everyone else in the arena is. She rises back up to her feet and hovers over Shelly. She smiles as she does a little dance before jumping backwards for a standing moonsault but Shelly is able to roll out of the way and Crystal crashes down on her stomach once again. She slowly rises up clutching at her chest, as Shelly is up now as she stands up wanting for Crystal to turn around. Crystal finally does so and that’s when Shelly delivers her Diamond Studded Combo. She plants Crystal right into the mat and Crystal is motionless. Shelly turns Crystal over and lays on top of her for a count.}
Willy Carter: Diamond Studded Combo! This has to be enough.
Kelly Knite: Crystal seems to be in another world…
Eric Hardy: I think you are right Kelly, there is no way Crystal can get up after that.
..
{One………………………..Two………………Thr………… The referee’s hand’s goes to hit a mat a third time but he notices Crystal has placed a leg on the ropes, and with that he motions for Shelly to break the hold.}
Eric Hardy: Crystal isn’t done yet as she manages to find the ropes.
Willy Carter: Would one of these women just stay down. There’s no reason to jeopardize your career by being too naïve to admit defeat.
Kelly Knite: It’s not in their natural to do so, they are sending the message out that they are the two best Starlets in this company and this match shows just that.
Eric Hardy: Both of these women have thrown the kitchen sink at one another, what will it take to keep the other down. They seem to know each other like an open book.
{Shelly is in a bit of pain as she slowly pulls Crystal back away from the ropes. She drops down hooking a leg for the count. One…………………Two…………………..kick out…. Once again Crystal somehow manages to still get up. Shelly slowly rises on her feet and it’s noticeable that the match is taking its toll on her. She stands by the ropes and just looks behind her waiting for Crystal to get up. A few moments later Crystal struggles to get up but she is finally on her feet. Shelly smirks as she springboards off of the ropes and launches herself back at Crystal with a hurricarana. Crystal however is able to catch her, and she holds her up in what seems a power bomb position. Shelly however yanks down as hard as she can still trying to go for that hurricarana but it’s no use. Both women are just fighting each other refusing to give the other an inch. Finally in desperation Shelly uses all her power to go for a yank but it only resorts into Shelly sliding down into what seems to be a pile driver position but Crystal however shocks the world as she sets Shelly up for what looks like an Ego check but Shelly uses her upper body strength to pull herself back up. Crystal tries to go for a desperation power bomb but Shelly slides out of Crystal’s grip and lands behind her.}
Eric Hardy: Crystal turn around, Shelly is behind you!
Kelly Knite: She might be a second to late Hardy.
{Soon as Crystal turns around Shelly is there to wrap her arms around Crystal’s neck, she doesn’t think twice as she pulls a page out of her husband’s move set and does his Time to Burn. Shelly plants Crystal into the mat and she turns her over hooking a leg for the pin fall…}
Eric Hardy: Oh my God Shelly hit her husband’s Time to Burn. I don’t think Crystal was expecting that.
Kelly Knite: Crystal attempts an Ego Check, Shelly manages to hit the Time to Burn, both women have added something special for this match.
Willy Carter: The question is will Crystal be able to kick out?
{One…..Two…… Despite how much her body is telling her kick out Crystal physically can’t as the referee slumps his hand on the mat a third time…..}
Kelly Knite: Shelly has done it! She is your number one contender for the Starlet’s Championship!
Eric Hardy: Hats off to both women, this match really set the bar high for what people come to expect from our Starlets division.
Willy Carter: Both of these women tore it up. I don’t think there was a single soul sitting down for this one…
{Shelly painfully rises back up to her feet, and the referee awaits to raise her arm in victory but she pushes him away as she stares at Crystal who is struggling. Crystal falters, and Shelly thinks about for a moment. She walks over to Crystal and helps her to her feet. She extends a hand out to her, and Crystal is hesitant at first but they shake each other’s hands. Shortly afterwards they embrace into a passionate hug, and they begin to raise each other’s hands in victory. They smile as the fans begin to take pictures of the two of them together.}
Kelly Knite: It doesn’t matter if Crystal won and it doesn’t matter if Shelly won, the way both of them gave everything they had plus more is what the Starlet’s division is all about.
Eric Hardy: They both came in as bitter rivals and now they leave as friendly competitors and more important friends, there is a high amount of respect that the two share for one another, and you just have to give them two thumbs up for their blockbuster performance tonight…
GRUDGE MATCH
One Fall
Todd Williams vs. Chris Gardner
Todd Williams was saved from a beat down at the hands of Jimmy Zane and Lex Sense during Picture Perfect, but apparently Todd Williams wasn't too appreciative as he attacked Gardner the next week out of nowhere. Now these two will face off and try to settle their differences.
{Adrenaline hits the PA system as Chris Gardner walks through the entrance gates, for the reception of his crowd in New York. He jumps high in the air and as he lands, he punches the ground, prompting a wall of pyros to shoot behind his back. After that, he keeps looking at the avid Madison Square Garden crowd cheering for the home wrestler.}
Amber Ashe: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, at his HOMETOWN of New York City, weighing in at 228 pounds... CHRISTIAN GARDNER!
Kelly Knite: Chris is at home and the crew loves him.
Eric Hardy: I had word he gives a lot back to the community, that's why this crowd loves him.
Willy Carter: Blah, blah, blah, stop selling this milky blonde like a goody-two-sho--
Kelly Knite: WATCH OUT!
{Before Chris can make it to the ring, though, Todd Williams and Sarah Richardson sneak up on him and clock him with a steel chair, forcing him into the ground. The crowd boos heavily as the Dreamer and the Miami Maiden drag the knocked down Gardner to the ring and pitch him in before following. What happens next is the both of them giving Christian the stomp treatment.}
Kelly Knite: That was uncalled for! Todd Williams AND Sarah Richardson assaulting Chris Gardner!
Willy Carter: And I'm loving it! C'mon, brother! Show this stupid little guy who's the boss!
{They stop the stomping for a while, and Sarah smirks as she goes top rope.}
Kelly Knite: Uh-oh, what's gonna...?
{And then Sarah leaps in the air, coming down into Christian with a double foot stomp to the chest, getting spasms and cries of pain from the Professor. Afterwards, Todd snatches the microphone from Amber Ashe's hand, as the crowd boos further.}
Todd Williams: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, straight from Long Island, New York... Yours truly, TODD WILLIAMS!!!
{The crowd boos further as Todd bows, unphazed by the rowdy reception.}
Todd Williams: You see, this is the problem with you. This man, right here, he spends a whole month away from your eyes. He was taking care of but himself, and still,when he comes back to steal all of the spotlights again, you guys cheer him like he's the hometown hero! And in the meanwhile, I, the one that has been busting his ass day in and day out, putting on the best show humanity has to offer in this business, am being ridiculed and being expected to perform as a silly joke character, marching around yelling retarded catchphrases, while YOU have the fun of seeing me getting screwed over! DUHHHH I'M TODD WILLIAMS! Nice way to show appreciation for someone that has been doing his job all this time for you. But this bullcrap is officially OVER!
{The crowd boos further, as Sarah gets the microphone.}
Sarah Richardson: This man, Christian Gardner, is nothing but a failure in all aspects of a human being. He can't take care of his enterprise, he can't take care of his body that is his work tool... This man wants to take care of all that's wrong in the business, but he can't put his own family together for dinner.
{Sarah draws louder boos from the crowd, as well as an "oooooh, no she di-in't!".}
Sarah Richardson: This is a sexist man that treats his coworkers with disdain and avarice. And tonight, this man's mask is officially going to fall.
{Sarah hands the mic back to Todd.}
Todd Williams: You see, Chris... Not even the woman that you hire to work with you likes you... By the way, newsflash -- no one likes you... Everybody thinks you're a selfish, narcissistic piece of rotten human flesh in decomposition. And it's due time someone stepped up and showed this blind crew in New York your true color. At the end of the day, Christian, compared to me... And to everyone else... You just don't measure up. RING THE BELL!
{Todd throws the mic away as Sarah exits the ring. The bells ring and it's a match!}
Kelly Knite: Is it going to be an official match? But Sarah and Todd just laid waste to him before he could start!
Willy Carter: Who cares? Doesn't the guy want to be a phoenix? Then let's watch him rise.
{Todd then immediately runs to the ropes, bounces and takes a roll, before jumping and attacking Chris with a rolling thunder, followed by a pinfall. But before the referee can start counting, Chris rolls Todd up for a two-count!}
Eric Hardy: See? Chris is a tough man to stay down. Here's the arise!
Willy Carter: Shut up, homo.
{Todd gets up and grimaces at Chris, that takes his time to get up. Todd immediately grabs hold of Chris' arm and pitches him into a post. Afterwards, he runs into Chris with a flying elbow smash. As Chris staggers forward, Todd brings him down again with a springboard enzuigiri. Another pinfall attempt -- two, and a kickout. Todd grimaces again and gets up, bringing Christian to his feet as well. This time, though, Christian answers with a straight jab to Todd's face, that staggers backwards for some moments before striking with a lariat, bringing the English wrestler down again. What comes next is a sequence of stomps and punches, that end with a standing legdrop.}
Kelly Knite: Whoa, Todd is on fire tonight.
Eric Hardy: And Christian seems to be reactionless. Looks like it's Todd's night.
{Todd tries to bring Chris to his feet again but surprise! Chris strikes with an arm drag that brings Todd down, and follows with a very quick moonsault... that connects with the mat, as Todd is quickly pulled out of the ring by Sarah Richardson.}
Eric Hardy: What the heck?
Willy Carter: The blonde girl there is a hottie AND a smartie. Gotta give that much to her.
{The referee starts yelling at Todd to come back to the ring, but behind their backs, Christian is preparing for something bigger. Chris then runs to the ropes, bounces and comes back for a suicide dive into Todd! But Sarah shoves Todd away and gets in the area of impact! Luckily for her, Chris had enough room to hold on to the mid rope and execute a somersault in mid-air, canceling the dive. Todd smartly crawls to another side of the square and goes under the apron, immediately calling the referee's attention for the illegal performance. The referee distracts himself from Chris and Sarah to look at Todd... And then Sarah KICKS Christian on the FAMILY JEWELS making the Professor crumble to the ground!}
Eric Hardy: OUCH!!!
Kelly Knite: That's gonna leave Christian speaking high-pitch for quite some time.
{Sarah then lifts Chris to his feet and throws him into the ring. Todd gets up with no weapon and rolls in as well. The Dreamer then lifts Christian to his feet and jumps onto his shoulders for what seems to be a frankesteiner, but instead he executes a nice headscissors takedown, followed a kip-up. Dreamer then measures Christian, taking some distance from him. Christian takes a lot of time to get up, favoring his knee, when Todd lunges into him and SHINING WIZARD!!!}
Kelly Knite: Chris Gardner will Keep Dreaming for a while after this Shining Wizard!
Willy Carter: You're h--
Kelly Knite: *smack*
{Todd then measures Christian up again, climbing onto the top of the turnbuckle. He aims carefully, signaling he's going for the Sweet Nightmare. And just when he leaps forward, Christian rolls out of the way and Todd's Swanton Bomb hits but the mat! The Professor quickly gets up, bounces on the ropes, goes straight to the other side and bounces there too, only to come back into the stuttering Todd Williams with the Crimson Spear!}
Kelly Knite: And Chris wakes up for a timely comeback!
Eric Hardy: Never doubt the will of this man.
{As the crowd cheers, Chris favor a bit his hurt knee before signaling for the crowd he's going for th G-Effect. With a lot of effort, he climbs to the top of the turnbuckle and faces the fallen Todd in front of him. He aims and then...
BANG!!!
Sarah Richardson is right behind him, striking his knee with a kendo stick! The referee immediately calls for the bells as Christian once again crumbles to the mat holding his hurt leg.}
Amber Ashe: The winner of this match as a result of disqualification... CHRIS GARDNER!
{The crowd boos heavily, even though Christian did win the match. Sarah rolls into the ring to bring Todd to his feet.}
Kelly Knite: Stupid ending to a match that could be one of the best of the night.
Willy Carter: But gotta give some credit to the blondie too, helping a brother out is always an option.
Eric Hardy: No it isn't. She cost Todd the match in her hometown, and Chris wasn't even given the chance of showing his abilities off in his own homeland of New York. Surely a let down.
ADAM KNITE & DDK
Friends
{We head backstage into the locker rooms where we see DDK in his locker room, throwing himself against a wall, smashing his face into a locker, and then throwing himself to the ground where it looks like he's being torn apart by several hard and quick punches as his head rocks back with every invisible blow.}
Curtis Kanyon: I'm going to kill you, you sonova bitch!
DDK: Go to hell! We're the same...
Curtis Kanyon: Shut up, shut up right now!
{Curtis wraps his hands around the neck of DDK and begins choking the life out of him, DDK gasps and pants and tries to breathe but Kanyon just locks in his hands tighter the more DDK struggles against it. The door to the locker room however the door swings up and in walks Adam Knite, who is shocked at the scene he sees.}
Adam Knite: What the hell is going on here!?
Curtis Kanyon: You stay out of this!
DDK: Adam he's trying to kill me!
{Shock and Awe from Knite.}
Adam Knite: WHAT!?
{Adam charges onto the scene where he grabs Curtis off of DDK and slings him hard into the wall. Adam holds on and runs Curtis has hard as he can into the opposite wall now. Kanyon is in a daze as Adam knocks him to the ground and begins pounding on him with several stuff punches in a row.}
Adam Knite: You better never touch my friend again you jackass! You hear me! Nobody tries to kill my friend you bastard!
{Adam is tearing Kanyon apart when finally DDK holds up his hands as Adam is about to land another blow causing Adam to stop with his arm in mid swing ready to strike.}
DDK: Adam, ADAM, ADAM!
Adam Knite: DDK? You good pal?
DDK: Thanks man... He got the jump on me when I was trying to get a shower.
Adam Knite: Don't worry man, I've got your back. You ok?
DDK: Perfect, now.
Adam Knite: Alright man, you're coming with me. With Curtis around we can't take any chances, so I'm going to keep you in my sights.
DDK: Adam... you're a true friend, thanks.
{Adam helps DDK to his feet before he signals him to follow as he walks out the door. DDK stands there, lifts off the wig and smiles menacingly.}
Curtis Kanyon: Muahahahahahaha, that fool.
{Adam pokes his head back into the locker room and looks at Kanyon as he swiftly puts the wig back onto his head before Adam can notice.}
Adam Knite: What'd you say buddy?
”DDK”: Nothing... lets get out of here..
Adam Knite: Well then hurry up, sheesh.
{We head back to ringside with Kelly and the guys.}
Kelly Knite: Up next a surprise match that was booked at the eleventh hour when Roberto Verona demanded it.
Eric Hady: He saw his leaders Andrew Jacobsen and Venom both fail at stopping Alex Jones from destroying the Young Guns and now he wants to show what he can do against the man who killed his team.
Willy Carter: Should be interesting.. maybe he's going to show that he shouldn't have been a lacky to either of those men.
Kelly Knite: Either way I'm sure this match is about more than just titles to Verona.
NCW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
One Fall
Alex Jones* vs. Roberto Verona
Roberto Verona has demanded it and Alex Jones has accepted, the former Young Gun who watched his "leader" Andrew Jacobsen fail on several occasions to win the National title, gets his shot at the man who "killed" the Young Guns.
{The lights in the arena dim, replaced with intermittent red and white spotlights, as “This Is The End” begins to play and Roberto makes his way onto the stage, accompanied by Hannah Reed, where he immediately stands and proceeds to look around the arena raising his right fist high into the air to a chorus of boos from the majority and cheers from small pockets who thrust their fists in the air in response before shortly making his way down the ramp towards the ring. Upon entering the ring Roberto slowly paces around the ring before climbing a nearby turnbuckle and raising his fist high into the air once again, staring around the audience. Hannah makes her way to her spot for the match as Roberto begins to prepare for his opponent.}
Kelly Knite: Roberto Verona is impressive guys.
Willy Carter: Agreed Kelly this is Alex Jones’ biggest test to date…
Eric Hardy: Since when did you become the play by play guy?....
{The start of "Kountry Gentleman" by Family Force 5 comes over the PA, the lights dim down as strobe lights follow the first few seconds before the guitar riff explodes.}
I come from the land where the mullet attacks
{"The American Nightmare" Alex Jones emerges in a short sleeveless orange vest with a hood covering his facial features and black tracksuit pants with the NCW National title around his waist, Shelly Jones his wife and manager makes her way down with him, Alex leaps up onto the ring apron, climbs between the ropes and flips his hood back before removing the vest and pants}
Eric Hardy: Since Alex Jones came back from his knee injury six months ago he’s been on a tear…
Kelly Knite: He’s been in high profile matches everywhere we turn and more often than not he’s been on the winning side…
Willy Carter: I hated Alex Jones back in the day but now he backs up his talk with his walk..well I like him…
{As the music fades out and Alex and Roberto get prepared for the match the referee takes the National title and holds it up for the fans to see. Alex bounces on the balls of his feet as Roberto stands ready, the bell rings and both men come in slowly. Alex stops in the center of the ring and both men give a quick handshake and begin to circle each other.}
Kelly Knite: Respectful start
Eric Hardy: Didn’t get that with Jacobsen
Willy Carter: Jacobsen..what a scrub….
{Alex and Roberto hook up in a standard collar and elbow tie up, they push against each other with Roberto having a one inch height advantage he tries to push over Alex, Alex ducks down and gets into a rear waistlock position, Roberto grabs Alex’s wrist and pulls his hands apart before sliding under and getting Alex in a hammerlock. Alex ducks under and reverses into a hammerlock of his own, Roberto bends down and grabs Alex’s leg between his and pulls sending Alex off balance and onto his back, Alex rolls backwards over his shoulder to his feet as Roberto spins around.}
Kelly Knite: Roberto is more known for his brawling but he can wrestle…
Willy Carter: Great skill by both men…reverses hammerlocks and even a single leg belly to back takedown!
Eric Hardy: ……am I even needed now?....
{The fans appreciate the match to clapping as Alex and Roberto circle again, another tie up but this time Alex gets Roberto in a top wristlock, Roberto rolls forward and turns it up and around locking it in back on Alex. Alex rolls forward and a front flip kip up revering the pressure back into Roberto, Roberto drops down with a drop toe hold taking Alex down, Roberto floats over into a front facelock on the ground, Alex spins and twists out of it grabbing Roberto’s arm, Roberto tries to stand up and Alex goes to lock in the AJ lock early!}
Kelly Knite: AJ LOCK!
Willy Carter: The cross armbar that AJ has seemingly perfected!..
Eric Hardy: Damnit Willy!
{Roberto keeps his hands locked together not allowing Alex to hyper extend his arm, Alex is on the bottom trying to stretch his body out as Roberto stands above him. Roberto moves himself over and then drops his knee on Alex’s face. Alex releases the hold as Roberto shakes his arm out, Alex gets to his feet and turns to see Roberto running at him, Roberto goes for a clothesline, Alex ducks and as Roberto turns Alex hits a snapmare and a low round kick to the middle of Roberto’s back sending a slap out through the crowd, Roberto rolls over onto his knee’s facing Alex.}
Willy Carter: What a kick!
Kelly Knite: the impact!
Eric Hardy: A snap mare round kick combo….
{Alex hits a hard round kick to Roberto’s chest, and another and another, Roberto gets to his feet and screams “come on” at Alex. A stunned national champion kicks Roberto again, as he goes for another Roberto catches Alex’s leg and launches forwsrd with a stiff lariat that sends Alexz to the mat crumpled up like an accordion. Alex tries to sit up but is met with a vicious knee to the face from a sprinting Roberto, Alex goes limp!, Roberto covers 1….2….Alex kicks out.}
Willy Carter: Alex’s pretty boy good looks might not exist anymore
Eric Hardy: That was brutal!
Kelly Knite: Did I see a tooth fly out?....
{Alex gets to his feet slowly stumbling and still out of it. Roberto comes in smelling blood as Alex leans up against the corner, Roberto hits a few stiff forearms and knee’s before running off the ropes and hitting a stiff knee to a kneeling Alex sending him down again, Alex rolls outside the ring and looks dazed on the outside. Roberto follows and taunts Alex to turn around as Alex does Roberto goes for the “silencer” superkick, Alex ducks down under the kick and hits Roberto with the AJ giri!.}
Eric Hardy: AJ GIRI
Kelly Knite: Great shot!
Willy Carter: what a match
{Alex slides in the ring and runs to the ropes before diving through the top and second ropes onto Verona. Alex gets to his feet and slides back in the ring, Verona then follows, Alex leaps up and runs forward hitting the time to burn that’s it! 1…2…Verona kicks out! Alex can’t believe it!}
Eric Hardy: Verona kicked out of the time to burn!
Kelly Knite: How tough is this guy?
{Alex argues with the referee and turns around to see Verona getting up, Alex climbs the ropes and leaps off going for the angels death, Verona leaps up and meets him with the Requiescat In Pace facebreaker! Verona pins 1…2….3!}
Kelly Knite: Are you kidding me!? What just... wow! We have a new National Champion!
Eric Hardy: Roberto Verona comes out of nowhere and finally dethrones Alex Jones as National champion!
Willy Carter: Amazing... Alex Jones can't believe his eyes, he lost his belt and Verona just a few weeks after losing his X Championship to Xander Famularo wins the National title from Alex Jones!?
Kelly Knite: Well fans, we'll be right back as we clear out the ring and Roberto Verona celebrates his freshly won championship!
Business up front
Party in the back
You gotta style in the south when ur stepping out
Put a gold tooth in ur mouth
Look at you now
Tank top, ur ball-cap, you think ur all that
But ur looking like Scott Stapp
Ur just another redneck from back in the woods
Not a Kountry Gentleman that can bring the goods, Tayoooo
VENOM
Official Return
{The arena lights dim and the sounds of a jet about to take off is heard over the sound system. The engines of the jet roar and take off followed by the voice of Xzibit. The NCW Tron lights up with the name 'Venom' and black spiders begin to fill the screen until the banner is completely covered in black, then one spider leaps towards the screen and leaves bite holes in the screen. Venom then walks out onto the stage with his hood from his trench vest pulled down tight over his eyes. He stops at the top of the ramp and raises his arms out to each side as Green pyro shoot up from the stage behind him. He drops his arms as the last pyro hits and looks from left to right at the screaming crowd and then reaches up and brushes his shoulder off before running and sliding into the ring. He pops up in the center of the ring and hops around before posing with his arms stretched out one more time before his music is cut off. He struts around the ring after being handed a mic by the ring announcer. He stops in the center of the ring and waits as the crowd begins to calm.}
Venom: It sure is nice to be back.
{The crowd pops and Venom lowers the mic and smiles until they quiet down again.}
Venom: As I was saying, it sure is nice to be back. I'm not sure why but I missed everything about this place. I even missed the musty smell of all you people shoved into this building.
{Venom stops and chuckles softly at his own joke before continuing.}
Venom: On a serious note though, a lot has gone on while I was gone. The Young Guns, they expanded, and moved on without me and they became something different all together. They became, well, jokes.
Kelly Knite: I don't think anybody is denying that.
Eric Hady: Sad that the once proud group fell so fast.
Venom: I know, when I was in charge everyone was saying that we had no purpose. Everyone was calling us the worst group ever. People were saying anything they could to shoot us down. They did all that though because we had everything they wanted. They said all of that out of pure jealousy. We had the National Championship, the Women's Championship, and the X Championship. We had what they all wanted and there was nothing anyone could do about it except cut us down and hope that it would get to us.
{He stops as he lowers his mic and paces around the ring quietly as the crowd sits in silence hanging on every word.}
Venom: It didn't get to me though. What got to me was a fluke injury in one of my biggest matches I've ever had in a NCW ring. What got to me was a shot of pain in my knee like I've never felt before and while I was dealing with that, hoping and praying that I would make it back into this ring, those words got to everyone else. The Young Guns imploded and lost everything. They missed out twice on regaining the title I lost that night. The X Championship came and went as did the Women's Championship. Suddenly no one was jealous anymore. Suddenly no one even cared about the Young Guns. Suddenly they were jokes.
{Venom lowers his mic and shakes his head at the thought of what the Young Guns have become.}
Venom: When I've told friends recently how I feel about the Young Guns they ask me one question, "Why would you rush your rehab to run back to that train wreak?" The answer I gave them was simple and the answer I'm going to give all of you people tonight will be just as simple. I didn't rush back for them, I rushed back for me.
{Venom pounds his chest.}
Venom: I rushed my way back through rehab because this business, it's in my blood. I rushed back because I know in my heart that I'm not cursed. I rushed back because I love this business and I will never let go of it as long as I can hold on. I rushed back because as much as I may hate you people sometimes you people make me want to be better at my job. I rushed back because I wanted to be back and it has so little to do with the Young Guns that I'm officially washing my hands of the Young Guns. Mostly though, I rushed back because there is still one thing missing on my NCW resume, the World Championship.
Kelly Knite: Wow, big decleration of intent from the former National Champion.
Eric Hardy: He's never been the most humble star on the roster.
Willy Carter: you can say that again.
Venom: I know, I have to start from the bottom all over again. I may have to work the web show just to regain some of what I earned over my first year in this company. I am willing to do it though. I'm willing to take on all comers until I finally get the opportunity to take my spot in the main event, and there is no one that I will let stand in my way.
{Venom drops the mic and exits the ring as his music begins to play. The crowd is mumbling back and forth not quite sure yet what to make of the return of the former National Champion yet but the few in the front row reach out and touch the star as he passes by and exits the ringside area.}
Kelly Knite: Strong words from the returning Venom... but it's good to have him back.
Eric Hardy: Very few people have as much natural talent in that ring as Venom does, however we do have an exciting match to get to... KLB defends his title against Jonas Potter here.
Willy Carter: Should be a good one, a Submission match.
Eric Hardy: You got that right Willy... a Submission match inside the rules of an honor match.. this could get interesting fast.
Kelly Knite: Jonas Potter...he has been gaining momentum in recent weeks heading into this matchup.
Eric Hardy: These two have crossed paths backstage several times, but now, it's time to get down to brass tacks!
Kelly Knite: The Honor Championship is on the line in an honors rules match!
Eric Hardy: And the only way to win is by submission, Kelly!
Kelly Knite: This is going to be quite a treat!
Willy Carter: Gotta make that sucka tap OUT!
Kelly Knite: Welcome to the show, Willy!
NCW HONOR CHAMPIONSHIP
Submission Match
Jonas Potter vs. KLB*
Kristoff Liam Bates has been on a tear ever since his return to NCW, winning the Honor title in surprise fashion, defeating his former Tag Team cohort Bob Pooler, and tearing through just about anybody in his way. This week however he might get his toughtest test yet in the quickly rising up the ranks, Jonas Potter.
{The lights on the stage begin to flutter softly as tender tones from a piano begin to play. Soft and low, they continue on, building up until it all stops. The lights go out as flash bulbs illuminate the arena. A single light shines down to the middle of the stage where a Dr Jonas Potter stands engulfed in light with his back turned to the audience. A soft female voice begins to sing as music accompanies her.
I'm about to lose my mind
Pyros explode on the stage as the music energizes the crowd. Doctor Potter turns and walks towards the ring and walks down towards the ring. As he gets to the bottom of the ramp he sprints towards the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. He stays down on one knee for a moment.
I'm about to lose my mind
Pyros explode all around the ring as Potter shoots to his feet as the music stops and the fans erupt as Potter stands there ready for the match to begin.}
Eric Hardy: What an entrance by the usually very conservative Doctor Potter.
Kelly Knite: It just goes to show that he is thinking outside the box for tonight's matchup!
Willy Carter: Yeah, well, Apollo Creed had a grand entrance in Rocky IV, and that brother got killed!
{Actions Speak Louder than Words do....
Bates comes out from behind the curtain, waving and smiling at the fans as he walks down the entrance ramp to heel heat from the crowd. The song continues to play as he walks, continuing to get boos but he doesn't seem to care anymore.
So here we go again,
Bates glares at and gets into the face of a few fans as he comes to the ring.
I'm watching, Listening...the volume is always the same!
He rolls under the ropes. He sits in the corner, stretching as he gets ready for the match at hand.}
{The cameras cut to the Internationals front row seats as they sit around waiting for the next match to start. Kesuke is pouring some tea into their cups as they enjoy a nice relaxing and sophisticated conversation about this next match. Bushido and Miranda talk amongst themselves as Dragon is chatting up the ladies directly behind their section. The crowd around them look on in envy to the VIP treatment they are giving themselves. As the match begins t stand to their feet and smugly applaud.}
Eric Hardy: Kristoff Liam Bates, the Honor Champion, is ready to go here tonight, Kelly!
Kelly Knite: And I can't imagine that all the questions surrounding his sexuality the last few weeks are going to bode well for the Good Doctor tonight!
Willy Carter: Bates is NOT GAY! I think. Maybe.
{The bell rings and the two men circle the ring. They lock up in the middle of the ring with a collar and elbow tie up. They jockey for position until Bates gets the upper hand with a side headlock. Potter immediately backs him into the ropes and whips him off. Bates comes off and knocks Potter down with a shoulder tackle. Bates shoots off the ropes, Potter flips over, Bates jumps over, off the farside ropes, comes back. Potter leapfrogs, and Bates ducks underneath. Of the ropes again. Potter goes for a reverse elbow, Bates ducks, grabs his arm, spins him around, hits a arm drag into an arm bar and the fans erupt. Potter scoots around until he gets to his knee. He reaches up, prys Bates' arm off his head and reverses into a hammer lock. Bates reaches around and then reverses into a hammerlock of his own. Potter reaches up, and then back and reverse into a hammer lock then spins to the ground, taking Bates to the ground and leaping up locking in a crossface.}
Eric Hardy: Both men going full tilt here tonight!
Kelly Knite: Potter has that crossface locked in right in the center of the ring, guys!
Willy Carter: So! Bates is the man!
{Bates struggles as Potter wrenches the crossface on tighter and tighter putting a strain in the head and neck of Bates. Bates lets out a scream of pain. He reaches for the ropes, but he is too far away. He tries to crawl over to the ropes, but can't make it.}
Eric Hardy: This can't be over so soon! Is he going to tap?
Kelly Knite: As much as I dislike Bates, there is no way in hell he taps here!
Willy Carter: Wow! Kelly said something smart!
{Bates struggles to power up. Slowly pulling his legs under him, he uses his free hand for a little bit of leverage. In one bold movement, he jerks back out of the hold. As he does, Potter falls forward and Bates reaches behind him, cross his legs, wraps his arm through the fold and stands up wrenching Potters back with the TEXAS CLOVER LEAF! Potter screams out in pain as the demented Bates screams and adds pressure to the hold. Potter quickly crawls forward and just as he gets to the ropes, reaches out and then stops. He puts both hands under him, pushing up, refusing to use the ropes. Bates screams at him to grab the ropes but Potter holds himself up and shakes his head no. Potter then ducks his head under and rolls under, pulling Bates into the ropes as Potter grabs his ankle and locks in an ankle lock. Potter wrenches on his ankle and he screams out in pain, but with him tangled in the ropes, the referee calls for a rope break!}
Eric Hardy: My God! That's Bates first and only rope break of the match!
Kelly Knite: That is excellent ring awareness by Doctor Potter!
Willy Carter: Bates got screwed! Is this an NBA Ref or something?
{Potter stands back in the corner as Bates climbs to his feet. He turns around and looks at Potter with rage in his eyes. The men circle, the wear and tear of the match already showing signs as they both limp a little. They lock up in the middle of the ring and Bates quickly turns the collar and elbow tie up into a side headlock. Potter backs him into the ropes and tries to push him off, but Bates holds onto his head and Potter lets out a scream. Potter backs him into the side ropes and tries to push Bates off again, and again Bates holds his head. Potter lets out another scream. Bates uses Potter's head and hip tosses him onto his back still wrenching in the side headlock. Potter screams out and begins to move under Bates, jockeying for position.}
Eric Hardy: Bates is not happy about losing his one rope break so early in this matchup!
Kelly Knite: That's how it works out sometimes, but he is in control right now!
Willy Carter: Bates is the man! A crazy, possibly gay man, but the man anyway!
{Potter tries to move under the weight of Bates. He reaches up, grabbing Bates' head and pulls his legs up, locking in a head scissors. Bates refuses to let go of the side headlock. Both men apply pressure with their holds and Potter pulls back far enough that he finds an opening in Bates' arms. He breaks Bates' hold and flips him over with the head scissors and then jumps to his feet. Bates turns and jumps up to a knee staring up at Potter. Bates gets to his feet and they stare each other down. They circle again and as Potter leans in to tie up, Bates kicks him to the gut. A few open handed shots to the face later, he whips Potter into the ropes and nails a huge running clothesline. Potter goes down hard, but comes right back to his feet and turns right into a standing drop kick from Bates. The impact of the move shoves Potter into the ropes and to the floor.}
Eric Hardy: My God, Potter took a tumble right there!
Kelly Knite: And he only has to the count of five to get back into the ring!
Willy Carter: Bates is on a roll!
{Potter is lying face down on the floor as the referee pushes Bates back and begins to make his five count! [..1..] Potter begins to stir on the floor, shaking his head trying to shake out the cobwebs. [..2..] Potter turns over to his stomach and pushes himself to his knees. He shakes his head and blinks his eyes as he tries to make the ringing in his ears go away. [..3..] He leans back against the ring apron, pulling himself up. He puts his hands to his head and again tries to shake the cobwebs off. [..4..] He finally hears the count being made by the referee and rolls under the bottom rope just before the five count!}
Eric Hardy: That was close! Potter must have gotten his bell rung!
Kelly Knite: The reply shows that he landed square on the back of his head.
Willy Carter: Well, that shouldn't have hurt him any!
{As Potter rolls into the ring, Bates is on top of him landing punch after punch as Potter blocks and covers up from the assault. As they move on the floor, Potters leg goes under the bottom rope and the referee calls for a rope break. As Bates gets to his feet, Potter argues that he wasn't in the ropes. The referee points to the ropes and explains that his leg was under the ropes, therefore he called for the rope break.}
Eric Hardy: What a turn of events here, Kelly!
Kelly Knite: Now neither man has a rope break left in this match!
Willy Carter: It's warrior time now!
{Potter gets to his feet and as soon as he does Bates is on him. They battle back into the corner where Bates lays in back to back chops to the chest of Potter. He then grabs his arm and whips him into the far turnbuckle. He runs in and follows it up with a splash in the corner. Potter staggers out and Bates flies in from behind with a bulldog! Potter is down on his stomach and Bates grabs his legs, folds them around his feet and lays back, locking in an STF! Potter screams out and tries to crawl to the ropes. He reaches the bottom rope, but without rope breaks, the match continues. Potter reaches under and grabs the edge of the ring trying to pull himself. Bates bounces, adding pressure to the hold. Potter screams out as he struggles to pull himself with the ring. He pulls himself under the bottom rope and Bates wrenches in the hold even tighter. Potter hangs over the outside of the ring screaming in pain. He reaches down, grabbing the railing under the ring and pulls with the last of his energy pulling both himself and Bates to the floor. Bates goes flying out to the floor landing square on his back as Potter flips and lands on his ass.}
Eric Hardy: Ingenius way to break that hold!
Kelly Knite: The rookie, Potter, showing some great ring awareness there!
Willy Carter: He should be DQ'd! He intentionally tossed Bates out of the ring!
Eric Hardy: No he didn't! He pulled himself out of the ring and Bates went with him instead of breaking the hold!
{As both men lie on the floor the referee begins to make his count! [..1..] Potter pulls himself up using the bottom rope and gets to his feet as Bates gets to his hands and knees. [..2..] Potter takes too steps and hits a big boot to the side of Bates' head, knocking him to the floor and turns around towards the ring. [..3..] Potter slides under the bottom rope as Bates crawls back to his hands and knees. [..4..] The ref backs Potter off as Bates gets to his feet and just before the count of five dives under the bottom ropes and into the ring. As he rolls in Potter stomps on his back a few times and pulls him up. He backs him into the ropes and whips him across. As Bates shoots off the far side ropes, Potter his a back body drop. Bates lands hard and bounces back to his feet and Potter takes him down with a clothesline. Bates back up, another clothesline takes him down. Bates up one last time and a third clothesline takes him down again! Potter is on a role and climbs to the second rope, leaps into the air and his a big leg drop across the throat of Bates.}
Eric Hardy: Potter has really taken control of this match now, Kelly!
Kelly Knite: The rookie proving he wants that Honor title!
Willy Carter: I still say he should have been disqualified!
{Potter stands up and runs off the ropes hitting a springboard moonsault and then covers for the pin. The referee just stands there and lets them know its a submission only. Potter sits up and lowers his head, near exhaustion. From out of nowhere, Bates reaches up from behind and locks in the SUFFOCATING CUBICLE! Potter writhes around trying to break the hold as Bates squeezes harder and tries to lock his arms in position with his version of the triangle choke. Potter pulls his arms up and puts his hand between Bates' arm and his neck, partially blocking the choke hold. Bates wraps his legs around him, cutting off the air supply by minimizing his ability to breath and take in air. Potter continues to struggle. With his free arm, he begins to lay elbows into the side of Bates, knocking the wind from him. Elbow after elbow to the ribs finally forces Bates to loosen the hold enough for Potter to slide his full arm between his neck and Bates' arm.}
Eric Hardy: Quick thinking on the challenger's part.
Kelly Knite: Yes it was! Had he not been able to get his arm in there, this match would be over.
Willy Carter: Bates will still win this.
{Potter then lands left and right elbows to the sides of Bates who winces in pain. Bates' releases his leg scissors from around the waist of Potter who continues to drive the points of his elbows into the ribs of Bates. Potter leans forward and jumps to his feet, hair drenched in sweat. He staggers on his feet, near exhaustion, and waves his hands at Bates to get up. The fans are erupting as Bates uses the last bit of energy in his body to pull himself to his feet.}
Eric Hardy: This is as intense as it gets, Kelly! Neither man backing down! Neither man giving in!
Kelly Knite: This is what NCW is all about right here, Eric!
Willy Carter: I got to hand it to Potter, dude is hanging tough tonight!
{The two men circle the ring and then step forward, trading punches in the middle of the ring. Big right hands stagger one another as neither man is willing to back down. Finally Bates gets the upper hand and lands two, then three, then four right hands in a row backing Potter into the ropes. He whips him off to the far side ropes and as he shoots off, Bates catches him with a huge spinebuster in the middle of the ring. Bates gets to his feet, barely able to walk. He steps through the ropes to the apron and goes to the corner. Exhausted, he takes his time getting to the top rope. With everything he can muster, he leaps into the air looking for the Swingline Stapler Press! He comes down hard but POTTER GOT HIS KNEES UP! Bates immediatley grabs his ribs and kicks and writhes on the mat as the impact of landing on Potter's knees surely damaged his ribs!}
Eric Hardy: Potter got the knees up! Potter got the knees up!
Kelly Knite: Bates has to be injured after that! My Gawd!
Willy Carter: I don't even got the words!
{Potter rolls over, trying to get to his feet as Bates is on his side in the fetal position. As the camera gets a closeup of Bates, blood is seen coming from his mouth. Potter gets to his feet, falling into the ropes. Dazed and exhausted, he pulls himself up fully and walks over to Bates. He grabs him by the legs, pulling him to the center of the ring. He steps over, folds Bates' leg over, tucks his arm underneath and steps over, flipping Bates to his stomach with the sharpshooter! A gutteral yell comes from the out of Bates as Potter leans back, putting pressure on the already injured ribs of Bates. Bates pushes himself up with both arms, screaming out, a look of sheer pain on his face as blood drips from his mouth. Potter leans back, applying more pressure as Bates screams out in pain.}
Eric Hardy: This is incredible! Bates is spitting up blood and refuses to give in to the sharpshooter!
Kelly Knite: Potter has it locked in, and I don't think Bates has the strength to break this hold!
Willy Carter: Come on Bates! You got this man!
{Bates screams out with pain as he lays his face back down on the mat. As he lowers himself, Potter leans back even further putting more weight and pressure on the injured ribs of Bates. Bates' lays there, motionless as the ref asks if he gives in. There is no response from Bates. The referee grabs his arm and pulls it up in the air. He lets it go and his arm falls limply to the mat. [..1..] He asks Bates again if he gives in, again no response. He pulls his arm into the air and lets it fall. Again, it lands limply on the mat. [..2..] Potter, sensing victory, leans further back into the hold. The referee checks with Bates again and then grabs his arm. He pulls it up and lets it go. It falls to the mat, BUT NO! Bates stops before it hits the mat! He closes his fist and slams the mat. Potter, undetered, leans further back into the hold. Bates, with every ounce of energy in his body, pushes himself straight up and then tucks under rolling out of the hold and tossing Potter back down to the mat as the crowd gets behind both men.}
Crowd: THIS IS AWESOME! *Clap*Clap*ClapClapClap* THIS IS AWESOME! *Clap*Clap*ClapClapClap*
Eric Hardy: I cannot believe what I am seeing here tonight, kelly!
Kelly Knite: I know we are only at the end of August, but this has to be a Match of the Year Candidate!
Willy Carter: A-Freaking-Mazing!
{Potter sits up and can't believe it. Bates is down on the mat, nearly passed out with exhaustion. Potter gets to his feet and walks over, pulling Bates to his feet. Bates fires a weak right hand at Potter that he blocks. Potter kneels down, quickly ramming his right hand to the patela of Bates, knocking him to one knee. Potter then stands up and hits a knee to the face of Bates who has blood running down his face. Potter shoots off the ropes and hits a leaping lariat, taking Bates onto his back. Potter gets to his feet and runs, jumping off the middle ropes looking to complete the CALCULATED ASSAULT. Bates rolls out of the way and Potter misses the springboard moonsault and lands on his stomach. Bates moves in and sits on Potter's back! He pulls Potter's arms back over his knees, reaches down and grabs under Potter's throat locking in the CAMEL CLUTCH!}
Eric Hardy: I don't know where Bates gets his energy, but he has Potter in the camel clutch and he has it locked in tight!
Kelly Knite: These men are putting on a show and the people here at Madison Square Garden are loving it!
Willy Carter: Bates has got this!
{Potter pulls his knees under him slowly, trying to relieve the pressure of the Camel Clutch. He reaches back, grabbing under the legs of Bates as he uses his legs to power up. He hoists Bates on his back and flips back, landing on top of Bates, crushing his already injured ribs under his weight. Both men lie on the mat trying to catch their breath. Potter flips over to his back, lying there, exhausted and obviously getting to the point of passing out from the pain his body is racked with. Bates staggers to his feet, blood dripping from his mouth to his chest. Barely able to stand he walks over to Potter and leans down to pick him up. As he does, Potter reaches up and locks in the MANDIBLE CLAW! Bates' arms flail around as he tries to pull away, but Potter has it cinched in!}
Eric Hardy: MY GAWD! Potter has the mandible claw locked in!
Kelly Knite: It's a devastating nerve hold that has Bates desperate to get away from it.
Willy Carter: Just bit his fingers, mang!
{Potter uses the weight of Bates' body to pull himself to his knees as Bates falls to his. Potter squeezes tighter as Bates struggles to get loose to no avail. He falls onto his back and reaches up with both hands trying to break the excruciating nerve hold. Bates kicks his legs as Potter leans over, tightening his grip on the hold. Soon his arms drop to his side. Occasionally convulsing and attempting to move. Soon, his eyes slowly close and the ref is over him asking if he gives in. The ref grabs his arm, pulls it up and lets it go. It falls limply to the mat! [..1..] He asks Bates again if he gives in, again no response. He pulls his arm into the air and lets it fall. Again, it lands limply on the mat. [..2..] He pulls Bates' arm up again and lets it go. His arm hangs there for a moment, then falls to the mat with a thud. [..3..]! The referee calls for the bell as Potter lets go of the mandible claw and falls backwards to the mat.}
Amber Ashe:: And your winner and NEW NCW HONOR CHAMPION...DOCTOR JONAS POTTER!
Eric Hardy: Amazing! The good Doctor came out on top here tonight in an epic battle with Kristoff Liam Bates.
Kelly Knite: No matter what you think of either man, they gave it their all to you tonight!
Willy Carter: Mad props to Potter. Well done!
{As EMTs rush to the ring from backstage and both men lay exhausted in the ring, the fans continue to chant and clap "THAT WAS AWESOME! *Clap*Clap*ClapClapClap* THAT WAS AWESOME! *Clap*Clap*ClapClapClap*" and Nothing to Lose cuts to a hype video for the next match.}
Kelly Knite: We've had a great night so far but we're still going strong, and up next we have the match where the stipulation was chosen by my Knitelife readers in a poll.
Eric Hardy: They chose a good one too. Seeing Xander in a ladder match and taking on Sexy Jason Evans, it's going to be exciting.
Willy Carter: Gotta feel sorry for Jason Evans here, poor guy isn't going to know what hit him.
Eric Hardy: I wouldn't write off Jason just yet Willy, the man has won championship after championship after nobody gave him a chance.
Kelly Knite: I don't know, I think I have to agree with Willy on this one Hardy. Xander has been unstoppable lately.
You've been gone for so long, I'm running out of time

NCW X CHAMPIONSHIP
Ladder Match
Xander Famularo* vs. Jason Evans
In the ladder match the fans of Kelly Knite's "Knitelife" column wanted, The 2011 Gladiator defends his X Championship against the always dangerous Sexy Jason Evans. Can Jason add the X title to his list of accomplishments or will Xander continue to tear through the NCW roster?
{I'm too Sexy hits the PA System. The fans know who will be coming out. Jason Evans steps out from the curtain with a shirt on. As we hear
I'm to Sexy for my shirt too sexy for my shirt
Jason tears his shirt off and tosses it into the crowd. He flexes his Pecs and we hear...
So Sexy it hurts
Jason Evans begins to make his way toward the ring as he slaps the outstretch hands. He slides into the ring and he goes to a corner and stands on the second rope and again he flexes his Pecs as the crowd loves it. He jumps back down and waits for the match to start. }
Eric Hardy: Well Jason looks like he's ready for this fight to start.
Kelly Knite: he wants to prove that he still belongs here in NCW, he wants to get this going ASAP.
{March of the Pigs by Nine Inch Nails begins playing, Xander walks to the ring and awaits his opponent}
Kelly Knite: But here is the man Sexy Jason is going to have to go through if he wants that X Championship.... this isn't going to be some stroll in the park.
Willy Carter: You can say that again, Xander is one intimidating foe, and man doesn't back down from anything.
Eric Hardy: If anybody can pull out a surprise victory here thought, it's Jason Evans, he just can't be intimidated here.
{The match is underway as Jason kicks off the action by charging right at Xander with several clubbing blows to his chest and then a hard punch to the jaw that has Xander pushing back against the ropes. Jason takes Xander by the arm and Irish whips him across the ring, Xander comes back after bouncing off the ropes and right into a Jason Evans dropkick. Evans quickly gets back to his feet, he measures Xander out and puts a quick elbow drop right into Famularo’s chest. Jason gets right back up before coming down again with a quick elbow point into the middle of Xander’s chest again. He gets up again, and does it again fast as he can. Xander holds his chest in pain and rolls away as Evans gets back to his feet. Jason chases Xander across the ring and kicks him under the bottom rope to the floor.}
Eric Hardy: Looks like Jason Evans isn't going to roll over like you guys think.
Kelly Knite: Never said he'd roll over, more implied Xander would break his spine if he didn't.
Willy Carter: We need to stop agreeing, this is getting weird.
{Xander gets to the floor and holds his chest in pain as he leans against the apron, Evans hits the ropes and comes back with a baseball slide that sends Xander flying up against the ring barriers. Evans pulls himself back into the ring, he grabs the ropes and springs up onto the top before flying outside the ring with an attack but Xander rolls out of the way against the barriers and Evans crashes chin first into them instead! Evans comes off the barrier holding his head in pain, Xander charges and levels him with a charging clothesline that almost takes his head off. Xander grabs Jason back to his feet, he lifts Evans up and drops him throat first against the barrier now. Xander grabs Jason by his hair, drags him over to the ring steps and throws him back first into the ring steps, abusing him again using the ring surroundings.}
Kelly Knite: Xander is one of the nicest wrestlers you'll see outside of the ring, but one of the most violent when that bell rings, we're seeing that first hand here.
Eric Hardy: In these sort of matches using your surroundings to your advantage can give you a huge upper hand...
Willy Carter: And Xander right now is doing the better job of doing just that.
{Xander grabs the ladder that is positioned on the outside and brings it down, Xander takes the steel and puts it on Evan’s chest, he steps back before stomp kicking the structure with force into Sexy Jason’s chest. Jason shoves the ladder off and holds his chest in pain as he tries to crawl away from the steps. Xander grabs the steel again, he lifts it and brings the top smashing into Evans’ back, and then again. With Evans laying lifeless on the ground, Xander takes the ladder and shoves it under the bottom rope before he follows it in. Xander grabs the ladder and sets it up under the X title hanging above. He begins climbing the rungs but just gets to the top as a desperate Sexy Jason slides under the bottom rope and charges into the ladder. The ladder tips over and Xander hits the top rope where he bounces off and flys back into ring and Evans falls to his knees. Jason grabs the ladder pulling it back up under the belt. He grabs the rungs and begins to make his way to the top now.}
Kelly Knite: Jason Evans is going for the win here, I don't know if Xander can stop him...
Eric Hardy: No, Xander is working his way back to his feet!
Willy Carter: There is no quit in that man, there is a reason he's the 2011 Gladiator.
{Evans is getting close to the top as he climbs the ladder, he reaches up for the belt but he’s not high enough so he climbs up another rung but as he reaches again, Xander begins pushing against the ladder, shaking it trying to knock Jason off as he fights through the pain of his fall. The ladder tips over but Jason doesn’t go with it, instead as he leaps off landing on a surprised Xander. Jason spins around and hits a Tornado DDT as the crowd erupts from the sight of Jason’s heads up move. Both men lay on the ground for a moment before Jason gets back to his feet.}
Eric Hardy: What a move by Jason Evans!
Kelly Knite: Great job for Sexy Jason, Xander thought he had the advantage but Jason takes it away.
{Evans grabs the ladder where he takes it and puts it back down, he puts it In the corner laying it across the middle rope diagonally in the corner. He then makes his way back to Xander who he pulls back to his feet. Jason takes Xander’s arm and looks to Irish whip him into the corner and ladder but Xander hits the breaks and instead sends Jason in that direction, Jason manages to hit the breaks before crashing into the ladder and instead jumps up onto the wobbling platform her created then flips off with a moonsault however Xander catches him!}
Willy Carter: And Xander is able to snatch Jason out of the air.
Kelly Knite: this doesn't look good for Jason right now, Xander can do a number of things from this position to inflict pain and make him pay for the misfire.
Eric Hardy: No it doens't, not at all....
{Xander holds onto Jason’s legs and the crowd is in awe as Xander begins spinning around swiftly in a circular motion with a modified Helicopter spin! Xander spins Jason in the air for several seconds before the sends him flying like a discus right into the corner where the ladder is set up, crashing Evans into the steel hard. Xander stumbles around dizzy for a few moments before he falls to his knees holding his head trying to knock away the daze.}
Kelly Knite: Holy hell... I certainly wasn't expecting that when I said a number of moves.
Eric Hardy: Xander is great at being unpredictable and just showed us all with that.
{After composing himself, Xander gets back to his feet, he takes Evans, pulls him back up, and then tosses him over the top rope before he goes back to the ladder and pulls it out of the corner. Xander takes the ladder and sets up again under the title belt, but with his back turned and probably still a bit cloudy from the spinning he doesn’t notice that Evans has held onto the top rope. Xander begins climbing up while Jason somehow manages to use his massive upper body strength to pull himself onto the apron. Xander is nearing the top he reaches up and practically has the belt in his hand when Jason jumps up onto the top rope and springboards across the ring and puts a dropkick into Xander’s spine. Xander. Xander falls forward and the ladder tips and both come falling to the mat.}
Willy Carter: Evans clearly wants to win this belt guys...
Kelly Knite: Nobody has ever claimed Sexy Jason didn't have a huge heart for this business, he's just going to keep coming and coming..
Eric Hardy: Xander needs to get his eyes focused on his opponent, if he keeps allowing Evans to get back into the match like this after hitting a big move, then his reign as Champ might come to an end here.
{Evans slowly makes his way to is feet using the ropes for leverage, he stands back as Xander rolls on the ground in pain. Jason takes the ladder and stands behind Xander as The Gladiator is getting back to his feet. Famularo turns around and takes the steel into his stomach. Evans puts the ladder on the ground now, he grabs Xander, puts him in the piledriver position before grabbing Xander’s tights and old school piledriving Famularo into the ladder on the ground! Xander’s head bounces off the steel before he falls tot h mat. Jason grabs XF’s arm however and drags him back onto the steel before he heads to the turnbuckles. Jason clinmbs up never taking his eyes off the son of Gib and sits on the top rope. Jason comes leaping off and goes for a senton but Xander rolls off the ladder and Jason crashes in back first!}
Kelly Knite: Nobody home! What was that you were saying about Xander needing to focus Hardy?
Eric Hardy: Hey, I never said Jason wasn't going to make a mistake during the entire match.
Willy Carter: High risk, but it didn't pay off and now Xander looks more determined to end this match.
{Xander pulls back to his feet holding his back in pain, but fights through it. He grabs Jason and lifts him back to his feet, where he takes Evans under his arm, hooks a leg, and lifts. Xander holds Jason up before dropping Jason onto the ladder with the cradle brainbuster! Xander now takes Evans and places him laying on top of the ladder before he heads to the turnbuckles. Xander climbs up, he revs up the elbow and leaps off dropping the flying elbow drop right across Sexy Jason’s chest!}
Kelly Knite: A little case of “anything you can do”?
Eric Hardy: Looks exactly like what just happened here.
Willy Carter: Great move if you ask me, demoralize your opponent while you're kicking his ass even more.
{Xander slides out of the ring after shoving Jason off the ladder and heads to another ladder that is set up on the outside, he takes it down and throws it into the ring, but he doesn't stop there. Xander heads to another ladder, grabs it, and throws it into the ring too before sliding back into the ring.}
Kelly Knite: What does he need three ladders for?
Eric Hardy: I don't know, but I can assure you it won't be good.
Willy Carter: For Sexy Jason it won't be.
{Xander takers the two new ladders and puts them in the middle of the ring on their sides. He grabs the first ladder and lays it across them, setting up table made from ladders!? Xander grabs Jason and forces him back to his feet before taking him into the powerbomb position. He looks at the concoction he brewed up, he lifts Jason and charges towards it for a running powerbomb, but Jason comes through the move and lands on his feet behind Xander, he grabs Xander and uses every bit of strength he and lifts him up, and nails a SEXY RELAXER through the first ladder smashing it in half!}
Kelly Knite: Look at that!
Eric Hardy: What a display of raw power from Sexy Jason, he got Xander up and drove him through that steel!
Willy Carter: That certainly go as Xander had planned.
{Jason winches in pain as pushes Xander through the wreckage and shoves the broken pieces out of the ring. Jason grabs one of the ladders that was used in the “table's” leg and slowly sets it up in the middle of the ring. Jason begins climbing up as Xander is trying to get to his feet, desperately, he grabs the rungs and is literally pulling himself up the ladder as best he can. Jason reaches up for the belt, he has it in his hands and begins to unclasp it, but at the last second takes a hard punch to the sternum from Xander. Xander grabs the ladder and tries to pull himself further up, but the moment he's there Jason grabs his head and slams it into the top rung hard.}
Eric Hardy: I don't know how much Xander has left here.. he's running on instincts and fumes right now.
Willy Carter: You're right about that Hardy... he's so beaten right now it's amazing that he could climb the ladder after the bump he took.
Kelly Knite: I hate to say it but you guys might be right.
{Jason grabs Xander by the shoulders as he lays there over the top rung limp and looks to give Famularo a shove right off the top. With all his might Jason shoves Xander who flies... NO! Xander manages to hold onto the ladder with one arm and one foot, refusing to go off. He slings back as fast as he can and WIDOWMAKER! Jason goes flying off the top rope and crashes back first into the turnbuckles!}
Kelly Knite: OH MY GOD! DID YOU SEE THAT!?
Eric Hardy: What a punch from Xander! He just knocked Sexy Jason out, eight feet in the air!
{Xander breathing heavily grabs the rung, pulls himself up and grabs the belt. The fans cheer as he unclasps it and raises it high into the air as his music begins to blare.}
Kelly Knite: he did it! Xander Famularo remains X Champion!
Eric Hardy: Great effort form Jason Evans, but Xander with that one punch retains his belt.
Willy Carter: Oh man... I don't know how Xander came back from that but he did, amazing display from the son of Gib.
Kelly Knite: It was a fantastic match between these two, and a great showing, however as we get things cleaned up we have to go to the promotional package for our next match fans!
{As the competitors leave the ringside area, we see the Internationals giving a standing ovation, clapping for the match they just witnessed. They yell at the fans around them to show respect.They sit down and Kesuke starts oiling up Dragon as Bushido and Miranda talk. Dragon flexes for the camera, then Bushido waves them off.}
Kelly knite: Well fans, this match is going to be interesting... could be the first time two sets of twins wrestler a professional wrestling match against one another.
Eric hardy: Pretty interesting tidbit if true.
GRUDGE MATCH
Tag Team Match
The Kanes vs. The Lockes
After Brad Kane failed to rid NCW of Adam Knite, Leonard Fox paid the guns for hire Lock Brothers to teach Brad a lesson. After weeks of confrontations and attacks, it was Brad Kane's twin brother, Spike, who came to his rescue and now these pair of twin tag teams take each other on to settle the score.
{The arena goes dark as the opening to "For Victory Or Death" by Amon Amarth fills the arena. Pyro explodes as Spike Kane appears on one side of the stage and Brad Kane appears on the other side, head banging to the song. The two meet in the middle of the stage and bump chests. Megan Kane follows the brothers as the crowd is cheering loudly. Brad and Spike make their way down to the ring, slapping the hands of the fans along the way as they sing along. As they get to the ringside area, Brad gets on his knees and throws his arms out as Spike does the same. Red pyro shoots along the rampway as Brad gets back to his feet. Both men hop up onto the ring apron as Brad enters the ring and heads the turnbuckle closest to him and throws his arms out again as Spike acknowledges the fan's love for him. As Spike enters the ring, Brad hops off the turnbuckle and heads to the one opposite from him and throws his arms out again as Spike goes onto the other turnbuckle and throws his arms out again as Brad crouches down. Spike gets down and stands next to Brad, the brothers ready to rumble.}
Eric Hardy: Finally the Kane brothers are united again. How long this will last I don't know but for at least we get the pleasure of seeing these two team again.
Kelly Knite: Eh I'm sure no one cares as much as you think but okay. Still it's good to see them back together instead of constantly fighting.
Willy Carter: But its fun to see them try to kill one another.
{"Money" by I Fight Dragons begins to blare through the arena's P.A. system as out come Rockwell and Hamilton Locke. The giant set of twins look straight at the ring as they walk towards it.}
Willy Carter: The Locke twins. Two giant men who have sights set for cash.
Kelly Knite: I heard my daddy paid a lot for these two to hurt Brad Kane. I mean a lot.
Eric Hardy: And they can't figure out why the Kanes would take it personally. When you try to end a brother's career, come on...
{Before the Lockes have a chance to enter the ring Brad and Spike both run out of the ring and hit stereo tope con hilos on the two giant men! The crowd roars loudly with approval as the Kane brothers stand up and high five one another. Both of the Kanes pick up Hamilton and roll him into the ring. Spike follows in as Brad heads to the ring apron. The bell rings as the match as officially started.}
Kelly Knite: Wow, Brad and Spike flying out of the ring early on here.
Eric Hardy: Before the match even. I like that idea of not backing down against these two big mean sons of guns.
Willy Carter: They damn lucky the match hasn't started.
{Spike begins to stomp away on Hamilton before dropping a leg on his chest. Spike doesn't waste a single moment doing the same thing again before quickly tagging in Brad. Brad springboards into the ring with a stomp to Hamilton's face before hitting a flipping leg drop. Brad begins to pull up Hamilton but gets shoved across the ring for the effort. With Hamilton now standing Brad rushes to the giant man and starts to unload with kicks to the leg trying to chop the big man down. Hamilton punches Brad down to the canvas.}
Eric Hardy: And this is where the size is going to make a huge difference.
Willy Carter: And women say size don't matter.
Kelly Knite: Which is why no woman will touch you.
{Brad scrambles back up to his feet only to get decked again. Luckily he rolls towards Spike and makes the tag to his minutes older brother. Spike enters the ring as Rockwell is on the apron and asking his brother to tag him. Hamilton tags out as in comes Rock. Spike doesn't back down as he wails away on Rockwell with elbows that barely reach his head. Rockwell takes a swing himself and knocks Spike backwards before taking him down with a clothesline.}
Kelly Knite: Jeez even Spike is getting knocked down.
Eric Hardy: Either way this should be an interesting match.
Willy Carter: Interesting to see the Kanes get their asses beat.
{Rockwell pulls Spike up to hit him with another right hand. Spike falls back a bit before running towards Rockwell with a clothesline trying to take him down. That fails as Spike tries again. Still nothing in the way of bringing this man down. Brad asks to be tagged in as Spike shrugs his shoulders and tags his brother in. Brad jumps into the ring and starts to kick the legs of Rockwell. Still remembering that defeat Rockwell grabs Brad by the throat looking for a chokeslam. As Brad gets lifted he kicks Rock in the side of the head which causes the hold to be released as Brad lands on the mat.}
Willy Carter: Damn him and those kicks.
Kelly Knite: I'll agree to it. But still it was a good way to get out of the chokeslam.
Eric Hardy: Yes it was but still you have to wonder when will the power take over?
{Brad makes another quick tag out to Spike who enters the ring and tries to suplex the dazed Rockwell. Spike has him in the air and manages to connect! The crowd goes insane with cheers as Spike covers. One.... Two... Rockwell pops his shoulder off of the mat. Spike keeps a hold of Rock as he tags Brad back in. Brad comes into the ring and hits a standing double foot stomp onto Rockwell's chest.}
Eric Hardy: I expect to see some great teamwork between the two sets of twins.
Kelly Knite: Well why wouldn't you?
{Brad jumps back and hits a standing moonsault onto Rockwell before hooking a leg. One... Two... This time Rockwell throws Brad off of the cover. Brad rolls up to his feet and waits for Rock to get up. Rock stands as Brad runs past him. When he attempts to comeback he gets annihilated with a big boot. Brad holds his face as Rockwell makes the tag out to Hamilton. Hambone gets into the ring with a sadistic smile on his face.}
Willy Carter: Good god at that boot to the face. I think Brad's dead.
Eric Hardy: You might be right. I mean the echo was heard through out this arena.
Kelly Knite: Just sick.
{Hambone pulls up the smaller Kane twin and lifts him into the air with ease. Huge powerslam shakes the mat as Hamilton grins. He lifts Brad up a second time and drops him with a suplex. Brad rolls around in pain on the mat as Hambone covers him. One.... Two.... And Brad is able to kick out. Hamilton pulls Brad up and tags in Rockwell. The two send Brad into the ropes and hit a double shoulder tackle that sends the former World Champion to the mat.}
Kelly Knite: And now the dissection has begun.
Eric Hardy: Only a matter of time before the smallest man in the match was going to be beaten down.
Willy Carter: Lockes are doing what they gettin' paid for.
{Hamilton exits the ring as Rockwell stomps on Brad a couple of times before running off of the ropes and dropping an elbow. Another cover follows. One.... Two... and Brad kicks out again. Rockwell pulls Brad back up and lifts him and nails Brad with a huge powerbomb. Brad flops on the mat as the crowd is starting to clap as Spike is yelling for his brother to try to get to and make the tag.}
Eric Hardy: This crowd is trying to give Brad Kane the energy he needs to make the tag.
Kelly Knite: Awfully hard to when you're on your back and out.
{Rockwell tags Hamilton back in as the two pull up Brad. Hambone throws Brad into the air as Rockwell catches him with a diamond cutter! Brad just got Locked Down. Hamilton drops down with a cover hooking the leg. One.... Two.... Thre.... Spike breaks up the count before getting shoved back by the ref. Spike exits the ring as Hambone stomps Brad before pulling him up. Brad gets whipped into the ropes and ducks under a big boot. He comes back and ducks a clothesline. On the third pass Brad jumps and hits a double knee strike to the face of Hamilton. Both men are down on the canvas.}
Willy Carter: Looks like that could be the opening.
Kelly Knite: It could...
{Brad slowly begins to crawl towards Spike as he and Megan are making the most noise possible as the crowd follows suit. Inch by inch Brad crawls as Rockwell gets tagged back in. He runs and cuts off Brad from making the tag much to the crowd's dismay. Rockwell tries to german suplex Brad but Brad is able to flip out and land on his feet. He kicks the back of Rockwell's legs to send him down to a knee before nearly kicking his head into the third row with The Killshot! Brad uses what he has left to dive in to tag Spike!}
Eric Hardy: There it is!
{Spike rushes into the ring and drops a leg onto Rockwell to keep him down while Hambone finds himself getting dropkicked off the apron. Spike pulls up Rockwell and hits him with an enziguri that sends the big man into a neutral corner. Spike then attemps to whip Rockwell into the other corner but Rockwell reverses. Spike gets his boots up that knock down Rock before Spike jumps to the second rope and flies off with an elbow drop. He covers right after. One... Two.... Rockwell is able to kick a shoulder off of the mat.}
Kelly Knite: Spike is on fire right now.
Willy Carter: But like we all say it just takes that one power move from the Lockes to turn it back.
{Spike gets back up to his feet and stomps away on Rockwell as Hamilton gets into the ring and clotheslines Spike down to the mat. Spike rolls out of the ring as Hamilton follows. Hambone tries to chase Spike but Brad cuts him off with a huge dropkick off the top rope to the floor! Both men are down as Spike sldies back into the ring. He waits for Rockwell to get up before hitting the superfast superkick that fails to take the big man off of his feet.}
Eric Hardy: Spike's trademark Superkick. It fails to work this time!
Kelly Knite: No duh.
{Spike goes for another one but Rockwell moves out of the way and grabs Spike before hitting the Locke Neckbreaker. Both men are down on the canvas now as the crowd starts to cheer again. Brad gets tagged in as does Hamilton. Hambone rushes towards Brad but Brad springboards into a dropkick that sends the big man down to the canvas. Brad goes back to the top rope and flies off with a double foot stomp to the face!}
Willy Carter: Oh jesus he landed right on the face of Hamilton Locke!
{Brad goes for a cover. One.... Two.... Thre... Rockwell is able to break it up. Brad holds his head as the Lockes slowly get up. They set sights on Brad the man they're paid to take out as they hit a double clothesline on him. Slowly they grab Brad and whip him into the ropes. Rockwell throws him into the air but on the way down Brad is able to catch Hamilton into a tornado DDT! Rockwell is shocked beyond belief!}
Eric Hardy: What a contest.
Kelly Knite: Hasn't been too shabby.
{With Hamilton indisposed Brad gets up and starts to kick at the ribs of Rockwell as Spike gets to his feet. The two brothers nod as they Kickfist Rockwell into a dazed state. Brad hops to the top rope as Spike in a very impressive feet of strength gets Rockwell onto his shoulders. Brad flies off with the ace crusher that takes down the big man. Rockwell rolls out of the ring as Hamilton is back up. Brad spinkicks Hambone in the stomach as Spike hits the Thunderstruck. Before Hamilton knows what's happened Brad is able to hit another BK Backfist onto Hambone before he falls. Brad and Spike both cover. One.... Two.... Three!!! The bell rings once more as Brad and Spike hug after their win.}
Kelly Knite: It took a lot but they put away the Lockes.
Willy Carter: Looks like the Lockes are out of business tonight.
Eric Hardy: This has to be a great moment for Brad and Spike.
{The two are yelling with joy as Megan gets into the ring and hugs her husband. The twins high five again as their music blares and they stand victorous. Suddenly however... the Internationals leave their seats at ringside and slide into the ring.}
Kelly KNite: What could they possibly want with The Kanes?
Willy Carter: Settle down and we'll find out.
{Dragon is clapping for the Kanes as Bushido just sort of stands there with no emotion on his face. Dragon then extends his hand to congratulate their victory and Bushido follows his lead. Both Brad and Spike smirk at the Internationals before completely ignoring them as they go to slide out of the ring. Dragon looks at Bushido and you could tell he's not smiling under that mask.}
Eric Hardy: Well that was rather disrespectful of the Kanes.
Kelly Knite: Or smart. Those two Internationals are up to no good.
{The Internationals slide out of the ring in front of the Kanes and swiftly deliver stereo superkicks to the unsuspecting brothers! Bushido to Spike and Dragon to Brad. The crowd boos and begins a "USA" chant as Dragon grabs a mic.}
Dragon: Estos perros don't know what it means to be honorable. And neither do any of you Americanos. In fact I think it's about time we left our front row seats before your filth rubs off on us.
{Dragon throws the mic down as he and Bushido head up the ramp followed closely behind by Kesuke and Miranda.}
Kelly Knite: I have no idea what the hell the Internationals are thinking, but we can't linger too much longer on it, We have a world title match up next!
Willy Carter: Interesting match I say...
Eric Hardy: Very interesting Willy. Alysson, since winning the title, has heard the words “fluke” and “luck” thrown her direction a lot, much like Emma did after she won the title from Zelda Knite in that Women's Showcase match.
Kelly Knite: Both have a lot they want to prove in this match, there is no question about it. Emma wants to prove her reign as champion wasn't just because Zelda gave up the title, and Alysson virtually wants to prove the exact same thing. The winner here will go a long way into disproving those stigmas surrounding their title reigns.
Eric Hardy: Well said Kelly, a lot is riding on this match, more than just a belt, and I'm sure both of these ladies would agree.
NCW WORLD STARLETS CHAMPIONSHIP
One Fall
Aly Gardner* vs. Emma Danielson
Aly Gardner won the Starlets title in surprise fashion on the 4 year anniversary Collision after Zelda Knite was stripped of the belt. She's defeated Emma Danielson two weeks in a row now, but can she make it three and prove to everybody that her win wasn't a fluke? more then they can chew?
All the stadium's light go off and some of them start to blink as "Redemption" blasts through the arena. After some time, Alysson walks onto the stage. She raises both hands making the Cora sign, and light pink, light blue and yellow pyros shoot behind her back. After the pyros are done, she walks her way to the ring with either with her head hanging, or just looking into the ring, as the crowd will most probably be booing their lives out at her. She spears herself into the ring and paces around, waiting for action.
Eric Hardy: Last week we saw Alysson defeat Emma in a non-title match, which turned out to be a good match.
{A piercing howl erupts from the speakers as "This Calling" kicks into gear. The fans respond with cheers as Emma Danielson walks out on stage, a deadly glare on her face. She looks around at the crowd, smirking briefly, before breaking into a run down the ramp. Emma jumps up onto the apron, using the ring ropes to vault into the ring proper. She brushes off the referee, moving to her corner and lying in wait for the opening bell.
Kelly Knite: And for Emma she gets a third chance at defeating Alysson but this time it’s a title match and Emma is seeking to join the likes of Zelda and Alysson in becoming a two time holder of the woman’s title.
Willy Carter: Alysson has yet to defend her title and she is getting the chance to defend it now.
Eric Hardy: Right, Alysson and Emma are ready.
The ref checks over Alysson and Emma for any weapons and then indicates for the bell to be rung.
Ding…Ding…
Emma doesn’t wait as she quickly sprints across the ring and tackles Alysson to the ground. Emma begins to pound away at her face and Alysson can’t do anything but cover up, as she takes shot after shot. The referee pulls Emma away from Alysson, which gives Alysson time to back up a few feet, where she climbs out of the ring to figure out what she can do.
Eric Hardy: Emma straight out of the blocks here, catching Alysson off guard.
Pacing back and forth for several seconds, Alysson looks into the ring, as the ref shouts at Alysson to get back inside the ring as Emma just smirks as she takes a few steps back and raises her hands up, indicating that she is allowing Alysson to get back into the ring.
Kelly Knite: Alysson taking a bit of time getting back inside the ring, though I don’t blame her for it, Emma is very dangerous.
Using the steel steps, Alysson climbs them, where she hesitantly climbs onto the apron and then through the ropes all the while watching Emma.
Finally getting back inside the ring, Alysson and Emma circle the ring before locking up, and Alysson uses her weight advantage to push Emma into the turnbuckles, where she gives Emma a few punches to the face before taking a few steps back allowing Emma to step away from the turnbuckle, however, Alysson hits a dropkick to Emma, which forces her into the turnbuckles.
Willy Carter: Although a strong start from Emma, Alysson is beginning to show why she is champion.
As Emma falls to the mat, Alysson takes a few steps back from Emma before charging and hitting a Bronco Buster to Emma, much to the delight of Willy Carter, the guys in the audience in the arena and at home.
Willy Carter: Woohoo…my favourite move.
Kelly Knite: I wonder why.
Alysson stands and then grabs Emma and pulls to her feet, where Alysson hits a European Uppercut, which staggers Emma and then Alysson follows up with an enziguri, which sends Emma down to her knees and Alysson follows up finally with a Shining Wizard.
Eric Hardy: Alysson really dominating Emma now.
Alysson then goes for a quick pin on Emma.
1…
2…
Emma grabs the ropes, and the ref spots this and stops the count and informs Alysson that Emma has the ropes.
Kelly Knite: Well done ref. Spotting that Emma grabbed the bottom rope.
Alysson then slaps Emma’s arm away from the ropes before dragging her away from the ropes before going for another pin.
Eric Hardy: Alysson going for another pin.
1…
2…
Kickout…
Kelly Knite: I bet Emma would have preferred to grab the ropes there.
Alysson frowns before standing up and lays in a few boots to the prone Emma, Alysson then heads over to the turnbuckle where she begins to climb them, where she prepares herself for the G-Effect.
Eric Hardy: Alysson looking to finish Emma off here.
As Alysson leaps off the top turnbuckle, Emma moves at the last moment and Alysson crashes to the mat. Alysson lies on the mat for a few moment, as Emma crawls over to Alysson and goes for a pin of her own.
Kelly Knite: That high-risk move utterly failed.
1…
2…
Kickout…
Willy Carter: Somehow Alysson kicks out.
Emma shakes her head, as she rolls herself to the ropes, as does Alysson, where they both struggle to get to their feet, but they eventually do get to their feet, where they stagger over to each other, where they begin to trade punches between each other.
Eric Hardy: Alysson isn’t going to give up.
Kelly Knite: This match would be even better if it was hardcore match.
Until Emma gets the upper hand with the punches, and with a spinning backfist, it sends Alysson down to one knee and Emma follows up with a swinging Neckbreaker.
Willy Carter: Emma looks likes she getting back to this match.
Emma gets to one knee as she looks at Alysson, she then gets to her feet where she hits a standing Moonsault onto Alysson and instead of pinning Alysson, and Emma gets up once more and grabs Alysson and pulls her to her feet, where she hits a body slam followed up with a elbow drop.
Eric Hardy: Emma really now into this match.
Emma then once again picks up Alysson and using all her strength, Emma goes for the Grasshopper Driver, however, and Alysson wiggles out of the move and rolls Emma up into a small package.
Willy Carter: Small package here.
She then goes for the pin.
1…
2…
3…
Eric Hardy: Alysson retains!
Kelly Knite: What a hard fought match between these ladies, but Emma Danielson wasn't able to end the longest and shortest women's title reigns.
Willy Carter: But she did prove that she's still got the ability to compete at the highest level in the division with this match.
Kelly Knite: If you say so Carter.
Eric Hardy: Nothing to Lose has been a pay per view filled with twists and turns. So far the surprises have been phenomenal and now we head into a match that will have the Tag Team Titles on the line.
Willy Carter: What are you talking about Eric? Surprises? Nobody wants them. The nerve of some people to come back after they made the decision to leave.
Kelly Knite: Much like when you left the commentary booth and decided to come back?
Willy Carter: That wasn't by my choice Kelly.
Kelly Knite: You're right and I can make it happen again if I want.
NCW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Grudge Match
Jimmy Zane and Lex Sense* vs. Rob Diamond and Mystery Partner
After Rob Diamond walked out on NCW and Lex Sense put Angel in the emergency room, the tag team champions decided it would be a good idea to run the former World champions name through the mud. Now Rob Diamond has come back to NCW and is bringing a partner with him to challenge for those belts. Have the champs bitten off more then they can chew?
{The lights fizzle out and the arena slips into darkness. The lights begin flashing on and off as fog fills up the arena. Then the eery strum of guitar strings blares throughout the arena.}
"I can smell what you're thinking..."
{"In Time", by Mark Collie fills the arena with a sense of dread as Jimmy Zane comes strutting out from behind the curtain to the strum of guitar strings followed closely behind by Sense. They stand on the stage as pillars of fire begin bursting all over the place. The black lights come on and Zane wears his gold around his waist while Sense has it draped over his shoulder as they methodically walk down the ramp. Once at ringside, Jimmy slides into the ring as Sense pulls himself unto the apron and steps over the ropes. Jimmy climbs a turnbuckle and just stares into the crowd as Sense takes off his duster coat and hooded sweater.}
Eric Hardy: The Youngbloods Jimmy Zane and Lex Sense. Our proud tag team champions here to defend their glory a second time since beginning their reign.
Willy Carter: These two dudes have been a favorite of mine since they were in the Young Guns and I don't see them losing those belts anytime soon.
Kelly Knite: Anything can happen Willy. Especially when Rob Diamond is involved.
"I admit it, I've done a few things that I shouldn't be proud of..."
{ The opening to Danko Jones "I think Bad Thoughts" blares across the p.a. as Rob Diamond struts out onto the ramp. He looks from side to side with a giant smirk on his face as the song's lyrics rock your socks off. Rob begins strutting to the ring like the king of the whole damn world, stopping as the first verse ends at the bottom of the ramp and... }
"Don't test me!"
{ And crotch chops your face off as blue pyro erupts from behind him in the form of an "X"! He then pulls out a mic from his back of his wrestling trunks and begins to flip it in one hand as his song fades out.}
Kelly Knite: Time to find out who his mystery partner is going to be.
Willy Carter: Money's on Angel.
Eric Hardy: Definitely Venom.
{Rob let's the fans cheer themselves sore before silencing them with the sleight of his hand. He pulls the mic to his lips.}
Rob Diamond: Bet you're wondering who I got to help me beat the ever loving snot out of the pair of jackasses in that ring right now?
{Lex and Jimmy just lean on the ropes with serious looking faces. Not finding humor in this situation at all. The crowd however, is loving it.}
Rob Diamond: I had to search and search to find the right partner. I climbed mountains and swam oceans in hopes of finding the perfect man to do this job. I traveled to the east, the west, the south, and then... the north...
{The crowd gives an ovation to the hint. Some figuring it out but most are still waiting in anticipation. Lex looks to Jimmy and both get ridiculous looking smiles on their faces as they've figured out who this mystery partner is.}
Rob Diamond: That's right folks. I traveled to the north in search of great wrestler. A northern superstar if you will...
{Now the crowd has caught on as the Youngbloods share a laugh in disbelief.}
Rob Diamond: And I found him. Yes I have found and brought back.... THE NORTH STAR!!
{The crowd goes wild as the pounding guitar riff of "Sad But True", by Metallica plays as smoke floods the entrance area and the fans, who would normally boo, stand to their feet and cheer loudly in favor of The North Star. As the main guitar riff hits, a huge burst of pyro pops at the entrance. Andrew Jacobsen comes striding onto the ramp much to the approval of the crowd. Andrew walks down the ramp and stands next to Rob who both fist bump each other before sliding into the ring. Lex and Jimmy no longer smile as their smiles have faded into angry looking scowls. They keep their eyes on Jacobsen. Never losing eye contact with the former Young Gun.}
Kelly Knite: I can't effing believe this. The boy scout is back!
Willy Carter: He's a mother*bleeping* traitor. What the *bleep* is wrong with this guy!?! How *bleeping* dare this egotistical son of a bitch!?!
Eric Hardy: Calm down Willy. Rob said it would be a surprise and it definitely was. Obviously Diamond has a plan here and Jacobsen is going along for the ride.
{Lex is quick to step up to Jacobsen with a questioning stare but Andrew just steps out into the apron. Lex becomes infuriated and begins lumbering his way on over to Andrew when Rob comes up from behind with a dropkick that pushes Lex into the corner. Rob follows it up with some right fists into the big man's face. Diamond then tries to whip Lex into the opposing corner but Sense easily counters with a strong whip of his own sending Rob crashing into the corner. Lex follows it up with a big boot but Diamond ducks out of the way and Sense finds himself straddling the top rope. Rob then grabs said top rope and begins shaking it violently causing Sense to jump up and down on it which in turn causes damage to his baby maker! Then Rob dropkicks the big man off the straddled position and Lex goes stumbling to the outside!}
Kelly Knite: Lex is obviously bothered by Jacobsen's sudden turn but he needs to forget that if he hopes to win this match.
Eric Hardy: Agreed. This isn't about surprise tag team partners. This is about tag team gold.
Willy Carter: Andrew's an asshole.
{Rob is pumped as he signals to the crowd but he is unaware of Jimmy springboarding into the ring with a dropkick that sends Rob rolling backwards into a corner! Jimmy now stands with a smug look on his face but he also doesn't notice Andrew springboarding into the ring with a clothesline that takes Jimmy off his feet! Andrew stands to the cheers of the crowd but that soon turns to boos as he turns right into a big boot that bends Andrew in half! Sense now rips Andrew off the mat and choke tosses him out of the ring! He then stands over the ropes shouting obscenities towards the North Star.}
Eric Hardy: I don't think this match is going to end well for anybody involved.
Kelly Knite: Oh what gave you that idea Eric?
Eric Hardy: Call it a hunch.
{Rob has gotten to his feet and is on the attack the minute Sense turns around with some vicious chest chops. Sense facepalms Rob and pushes him back but Rob is a resilient one as he gets back on that chest chopping horse nearly tearing Lex's shirt with each mighty swing. He nails multip[le chest chops before finishing it up with a "Fist Full o' Democracy"(spinning backfist)! Rob follows it up by trying to whip Sense across the ring but ends up with a short armed clothesline for his troubles! Courtesy of Lex Sense.The big man then drops a massive elbow to Robs chest and stays for the pin but only gets a one count. Rob is coughing up a lung as Sense begins blatantly choking Diamond out as the ref counts to four before Lex let's go. He then stands over Rob and places his massive paws around Rob's throat and lifts him to his feet before tossing him into the corner. Lex then walks to his corner and tags in Jimmy. Sense then grabs Jimmy's arm and strong whips him into Rob allowing the force of Jimmy's spinning wheel kick to be a lot more intense!}
Kelly Knite: There's a lot of animosity in that ring. You can feel it in the air. Something bad could happen.
Willy Carter: Something bad should happen and it should happen to Andrew.
Eric Hardy: What did he ever do to you Willy?
Willy Carter: He ended the Young Guns.
{Rob stumbles out and Jimmy takes this opportunity to pull him into a Reverse DDT position and execute a Reverse Twist of Fate! Rob is laid out right in front of the corner turnbuckles and Jimmy climbs to the second turnbuckle and flies off with a leg drop only Rob decided it was time to move out of the way! Jimmy lands hard on his ass as Rob rolls to his feet, bounces off the ropes and nails Jimmy in the face with a front dropkick! Rob then stands to the cheers of the crowd and points at Andrew and the crowd cheers in approval. Diamond tags out and Andrew slingshots into the ring with a DDT as Jimmy was pushing himself to his feet! Lex is gripping the ropes tightly now as Andrew transitions that DDT into a Crossface! Sense doesn't waste any time stepping into the ring and Andrew sees this and let's go of the hold getting to his feet and motioning for Lex to bring it. Sense just smiles as Jimmy uses the ropes to stand and then springboards into an enziguri across Jacobsen's head which causes him to stumble forward into "The End"(Book End) by Sense! The ref tries to get Sense out but Lex grabs him by the collar and seems to want to launch him out of the ring but Rob steps in and prevents him with a nice kick to the junk, following it up with the "Dominicus Driver"(Unprettier)!}
Kelly Knite: Rob finally hitting Sense with a big move.
Eric Hardy: Now can Andrew take advantage and lock in a win here.
{Jimmy feels the ring shake from the massive weight that has fallen on top of it and turns to see Rob smirking towards him. Jimmy then charges with a clothesline but Rob ducks under it and runs to the ropes himself. Both men rebound and Rob slides into a facedown position causing Zane to hop over him and run right into a discus punch from Jacobsen which sends him to the mat! Andrew then grabs his arm and locks in the "21 Gun Salute"(Chikara Special)!}
Eric Hardy: Sense is still grounded and this could be the end for Jimmy.
Willy Carter: Come on Zane find a way out.
Kelly Knite: Oh Willy. Time to find new heroes.
{The ref has finally had enough and he pushes Rob out of the ring allowing Sense to stand and hit "The Back to the Future"(Clothesline from Hell from Behind)! Effectively sending Jacobsen rolling forward off of Jimmy. The ref now comes over to escort Sense out of the ring as Jimmy gets to one knee and quickly recovers from Jacobsen's finisher submission. Jimmy drags Andrew by one arm to h8is corner and goes to tag in Sense. Lex steps in and picks Zane up into a bench press and tosses him high into the air where Jimmy contorts his body to hit a massive elbow drop from well above 7 feet! Jimmy rolls out as Sense just places a foot over Jacobsen's chest for the pin and 1.. 2... KICKOUT!}
Eric Hardy: Lex doing what he does best and showing no respect for his former leader.
Willy Carter: Former is the key word Eric. Andrew screwed it up just like he's going to screw this up for Rob. Why would he betray his former associates?
Kelly Knite: Whatever his reasons may be one thing's for sure, the boy scout has returned.
{Sense rips Andrew off the mat and wraps his arms around his midsection and holds him up in a Bear Hug! He holds him up for a few seconds, viciously squeezing the breath from his lungs before throwing him over with an Overhead Belly to Belly! Sense then shouts at the booing crowd before lumbering his big ass over to Jacobsen and ripping him off the mat to push him into the corner. Sense then takes a few steps back and lunges forward with massive body splash into the corner that squashes Andrew into the turnbuckles! Andrew is falling over but Sense holds him so he could whisper, "you're going to regret this" into his ear and then letts him fall to the mat. Lex then walks over to Rob and gives him the middle finger for good measure before tagging in Zane once again. The Youngbloods then begin to stomp a hole into their former leader like he was on fire. The stomps continue until the ref has had enough and tries to remove Sense from the ring, which proves to be a mistake as Sense just backhands the poor bastard into unconsciousness!}
Eric Hardy: Well it looks like rules and regulations have just been thrown out the door with that accidental backhand.
Kelly Knite: Accidental? pft. Yeah right. I knew something bad was going to happen and his name is Sense.
Willy Carter: Or something very good. Beat that suckachump up!!
{Lex and Jimmy continue with the stomping. Completely forgetting that Rob was also at ringside. Their emotions towards their former comrade have taken control and they also ignore the fact that Rob has gotten himself a steel chair and has slid in behind Jimmy. Zane turns around and is bashed in the head by cold hard steel! Rob then turns to Sense and goes to hit him with steel but Lex is able to axe handle smash the steel chair back into Diamond's face! The blow was so powerful that Rob is sent rolling to the outside of the ring. Lex shakes the pain in his forearms away and goes to pick up Rob when Andrew gets to one knee and uppercuts Sense right in the moneymaker! Lex is stumbling around and Andrew decides to grab the chair from the ground and straight up cracks Lex's skull with it! Unfortunately the ref that was running down to replace the k.o.'d referee saw all this go down and as soon as he slides in he calls for the bell citing a double disqualification.}
Kelly Knite: That's BS! This match should continue until a proper winner is decided.
Willy Carter: I have a feeling that this war between Lex and Jiimmy and Rob and Andrew is barely beginning.
Kelly Knite: Whatever! I wanted to see new champions dammnit.
Willy Carter: There's only one pair of champions in my book and that's them there Youngbloods.
Eric Hardy: Regardless of o feelings this match is over and Lex and Jimmy continue to be nCw's premiere tag team.
Willy Carter: As it should be Eric.
{"In Time" hits the speakers as Andrew throws the chair down in disbelief. Lex stands with blood trickling down his forehead and the look on his face screams bloody murder. Sense nods to Jimmy who was on one knee and he heads up the turnbuckles. Sense then spins Andrew around and grabs him by the collar to bring him in close. Lex screams 'TRAITOR" into his face before short arming him into the "Prediction"! Jimmy then flies off the top rope with the "InZane"! Andrew is bouncing around like a fish out of water as Jimmy hands Lex a chair. Lex raises it high above his head but is stopped in his tracks as Rob slides into the ring with a freshly acquired kendo stick from GOD knows where and cracks Sense across the face with it! Rob then swings at Jimmy but he high tails it out of the ring. Jimmy then reaches in and helps Sense out of the ring as they take their belts and head up the ramp. "I Think Bad Thoughts" hits the speakers as Rob kneels down to check on Andrew. Lex and Jimmy smile towards their former leader and his new best friend.}
Kelly Knite: I don't know what that last match's ending was all about but we move right along to another Tag Team Championship match. Only this time with the lovely ladies of nCw.
Willy Carter: This is what it's all about guys. Restroom break time!
Eric Hardy: This heated feud between these next four ladies is stuff of legends and I don't think anybody is going to want to miss a second of the action.
Willy Carter: T & A Hardy. That's the only thing this audience is not going to want to miss.
Kelly Knite: I will cut your *bleep* off if you don't shut the *bleep* up.
NCW STARLETS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Grudge Match
B*tches With Attitude vs. Opportunity*
Opportunity defend their Starlets tag team titles in a match against the original Starlets tag team. BWA were a tag team before the women's belts were ever introduced and have come back to NCW to wage war on the so called "Starlets" to bring home what they feel is rightfully theirs. Opportunity, the unlikely team of Vargas and Conway look to crush those dreams and show you can still be considered a Starlet and dangerous at the same time.
{"Iron Army", by In this Moment plays to an eruption of pyro as Ayla St. James and Rayne take to the stage. The two of them walk down the ramp, slapping the hands of the fans on their way before going to either side of the ring, rolling in under the bottom rope and jumping to their feet. They run to opposing corners at the same time, climb up on the second rope and throw their fists up as the chorus kicks in. They jump down and take to their corner as the song fades out.}
Eric Hardy: B.W.A. have been blazing a trail through the Starlet's division with relative ease. Rayne and Ayla st. James have come back with a crusade that many believe is unnecessary.
Kelly Knite: I'm all for girl power Hardy but the way these veterans of the ring are going about it is definitely questionable. Still nobody can deny that Bitches with Attitude deserve to be contenders for the gold.
Willy Carter: Whatevs! BRING OUT THEM TIG OL' BITTIES!!
{The lights in the arena start to twinkle with a hot pink hue to signal the start of 'Sorry Go Round' by Poets of the fall. Kathleen Conway and Mercedes Vargas appear on the stage with a hand on their right hips, and the Starlets Tag Team Championships around their waists as the crowd offer cat calls and wolf whistles. The two team mates nod at each other before continuing to walk down to the ramp with a smile on their faces. Kathy gets to the ring and climbs on to the apron with her back to the ropes, she drops to one knee as Mercedes climbs up the steps and goes to straddle the top rope in the opposite corner. Kathy holds onto the ropes behind her as she flips her hair to the side before standing up and climbing through the middle rope into the ring. Kathy walks to the middle and flips her hair again as Mercedes hops down and joins her partner in the ring as the two ladies put a hand on their right hips as the lights return to normal and the music fades.}
Willy Carter: Kathleen Conway and Mercedes Vargas are definitely my picks to win this thang.
Kelly Knite: Don't you mean "thing".
Willy Carter: That's what I said, thang.
Kelly Knite: GOD you're an idiot! Regardless, the self proclaimed Opportunity are coming off a big win last week against two of the top contenders of the Starlet's division showing everyone that they truly are champions to be proud of.
Eric Hardy: Such nice words coming off of you tonight Kelly. I didn't expect that at all.
Kelly Knite: Are you calling me a bitch?
Eric Hardy: ....
{The ref takes the belts and shows them off to the participants of this match and then the crowd before handing them to Amber Ashe. He calls for the bell and both Rayne and Kathleen decide to start this shiznit off with a bang. Rayne cracks her knuckles as Kathleen quickly shoots in with a Double Leg Takedown slamming Rayne face first into the mat. Kathleen continues to show her in ring skills as she floats over the prone Rayne to lock in a grounded Guillotine Chokehold. Rayne is kicking her feet like a child throwing a tantrum as Conway applies pressure before standing, keeping the hold locked in. Once to their feet Kathleen torques the hell out of Raynes neck with a Snap Spinning Neckbreaker! Kathleen gets to one knee and raises her hands in the air before mounting Rayne to rain down some lefts and rights all over her pretty face!}
Kelly Knite: Kathleen came out swinging and I don't think Rayne expected that at all.
Eric Hardy: I have to agree with you Kelly but it's clear that Opportunity has come out here for a fight.
Willy Carter: Really Hardy? Of course they came out here to fight. After all they're wrestlers. Female wrestlers mind you but it's still what they get paid for. Idiot. *goes to high five Kelly*
Kelly Knite: *leaves Willy hanging*
{Rayne is trying to desperately block the punches and is doing a fairly good job at it but Kat is one angry pussy and the ref comes in and forcefully removes her from her mounted position. The ref pushes Kat back into the ropes to reprimand her as Rayne rolls to the neutral corner and uses the ropes to get to standing position. Conway pushes the ref aside and runs into the corner with a clothesline but Rayne raises the boot and pushes Kathleen back following it up with a stiff superkick that drills Kathleen into the mat! Rayne then does a cut throat motion as she climbs the turnbuckles, stands on the top rope, points at Kathleen who was pushing herself to all fours, and flies through the air with a high flying leg drop across the back of Conway's neck! The move looked devastating as Rayne rolls her over for the pin and 1... 2... KAT SHOOTS HER SHOULDER UP AND SOMEHOW ROLLS RAYNE INTO A SMALL PACKAGE LIKE PIN HERSELF AND 1... 2... AYLA COMES IN WITH STOMP TO KATHLEEN'S FACE FOR THE SAVE!!}
Eric Hardy: That's when having a partner comes into play.
Willy Carter: My girl Kat had this won for her team if it wasn't for them cheating Bitches.
Kelly Knite: Nobody's your girl Willy.
{The ref reacts accordingly and begins to push Ayla back into her corner. Something that works in Opportunity's favor as Rayne, who was using the ropes to get to her feet, is grabbed by Mercedes from behind and left to hang on the ropes as Vargas jumps off the apron! Rayne's back bends in a way it shouldn't before stumbling out holding her spine right into Kathleen who does further damage to the spine with a nicely executed Tilt 'o' Whirl Backbreaker! Kathleen then stands to tag in Mercedes.}
Willy Carter: That's why I picked these two ladies to win. they've been learning how to function as a team.
Kelly Knite: B.W.A. also function as a tag team Willy.
Willy Carter: Maybe, but they suck.
Kelly Knite: Nice expert analysis there Charles Barkley.
Eric Hardy: I'm pretty sure that's racist.
{Kathleen is still holding her face and neck area but still manages to shake the pain away as she yanks Rayne to her feet only to whip her right into Mercedes who hits her "Be Still my Heart"(savate superkick)! Rayne stumbles around and right into Kat's version of the legendary "FameAcer"! A move opportunity calls the "Ace of Hearts".}
Kelly Knite: I'm shocked! Rayne is actually taking a beating handed out by the champs.
Eric Hardy: A lot of people complained about how they won those belts but here they are showcasing exactly why they deserved the win.
{Mercedes goes for the pin as Kat charges at Ayla to prevent her from stepping into the ring. This proves to be a mistake as Ayla ducks and pulls down on the top rope and Kathy's momentum sends her tumbling to the outside. Meanwhile, Mercedes has pinned and 1... 2... AYLA SPRINGBOARDS IN WITH AN ELBOW DROP JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME!}
Willy Carter: Twice Ayla has saved Rayne. It looks like somebody owes Ayla a dinner... Or hot lesbian sex.
Eric Hardy: I agree with Willy.
{Ayla stands and helps Rayne snap out of it with a good old slap. Rayne begins shaking off the cobwebs as Ayla steps out and begins reaching in for the tag. Rayne is slowly making her way for the tag but when things seem to be going in favor of B.W.A., Kathleen reaches up from the floor and pulls Ayla off the apron! Ms. st. James' beautiful face comes crashing down on the edge of the ring! Kathleen then whips her into the barricade before seductively walking back to Opportunity's corner with her hands on her hips.}
Eric Hardy: Opportunity is certainly here to make B.W.A. work for their opportunity.
Kelly Knite: Rayne and Ayla made it a big deal to point out that the Starlet's Tag Team champions didn't have an ounce of fight in them and here they are proving them wrong.
Willy Carter: Like I said, my picks to win.
Kelly Knite: Nobody cares about what you said.
{Rayne reaches her corner but with nobody to tag she has no choice but to push her feet under her and prepare for Mercedes. But as she turns around, Vargas hits a hard impact corner clothesline that nearly sends Rayne over the top rope! Mercedes then takes Rayne by her arm in hopes of hitting her "Two to Tango". Merce pulls Rayne out of the corner into an Arm Wrench following it up with a hook kick to the face... NO! Rayne desperately ducks! The momentum of the hook kick causes Mercedes to spin but before she can spin all the way around Rayne grapples her from behind and hits a beautiful German Suplex, which she bridges for the pin and 1... 2... 2.9KICKOUT! Rayne rolls to her feet as fast as she can but is still a bit slower than Mercedes as Rayne finds her self in a Side Headlock. Mercedes is trying to drag her to Opportunity's corner as she sees that Ayla has made it back to the apron but Rayne is doing everything she can to hold her ground. Vargas begins dropping fists into the top of Rayne's head to try and daze her but all it does is enrage her as Rayne lifts Mercedes into the air and brings her down on her knee with an Atomic Drop! Mercedes is hopping around holding her bottom as Rayne spins her around and then lifts her in the air and once again brings her down on her knee with a Manhattan Drop! Vargas is now holding her lower regions as the crowd cheers a collective "OOOOOOHHHH!". A perfect position for Rayne to bounce off the ropes and come back with a devastating pump kick that sends Mercedes head over heels!}
Kelly Knite: looks like Rayne is getting a second wind here. I wouldn't want to be Mercedes or Kathleen right now.
Willy Carter: I wouldn't be worried. Rayne could barely stand.
{Indeed Rayne is having a hard time standing as she is still feeling the effects of the early match beatdown at the hands of Opportunity so she dives into her corner and tags in Ayla as she rolls out of the ring for a breather. The breathtaking Ayla hops into the ring with fire in her eyes and she quickly hits a rushing back elbow on Kathleen sending her off the apron. Kat flies back first into the barricade as Ayla turns her attention to a kneeling Mercedes. She moseys on over and Merce tries a few punches into Ayla's stomach but her adrenaline allows her to be impervious to pain for a minute as she rips Mercedes to her feet and strong whips her into the corner. Mercedes' spine connects with the turnbuckles and the pain is obvious on her face as she slumps to the mat! Kathleen has now slid in as she grabs Ayla by her hair and spins her around in hopes of hitting some kind of offense but Ayla spins around and surprises Kathleen with the "CUT!"(leg lariat)! This allowed Mercedes to get her feet under her and as Ayla stands Vargas goes for the clothesline but Ayla has enough wherewithal to counter with her "Class Act"(Side Effect)! Ayla then, in one fluid motion, rolls to her feet and then jumps unto the top turnbuckle and lionsaults off with her "Descension" and splashes right on top of nothing! Conway was able to pull Mercedes out of the way.}
Willy Carter: Damn! That was a crazy series of moves performed by Ayla.
Kelly Knite: Not crazy, just well timed.
Eric Hardy: Whatever you want to call it her fire has been doused and now it seems Opportunity is going to finish this off.
{Kathy helps Merce to her feet and then both ladies rip Ayla off the mat. Mercedes grabs her from behind and lifts her into the air looking for her "Peligro Rojo"(Lotus Lock) as Kathy prepares to lock in the Inverted Figure Four to complete the "Four Leaf Lotus Lock" finisher but Rayne grabs chunks of Kathy's hair from behind and simply yanks back first into the mat and then proceeds to smash Conway's head to the mat as Ayla counters the Lotus Lock attempt into a Roll Up and 1... 2... KICKOUT! The ref is trying to control the situation but he is allowing this match to continue as Rayne has now mounted Kathleen grabbing her by the head to deliver some right punches. Ayla, meanwhile, is attempting to help Mercedes to her feet but is surprised with a Jawbreaker! Mercedes then stands as Ayla hits the mat holding her face and straight up straight kicks Rayne in the face off of her partner!}
Kelly Knite: Things are getting out of hand now. I guess it was only a matter of time.
Eric Hardy: Things like this tend to happen in tag team matches.
Willy Carter: Come on nip slips!
{Now Mercedes taunts the crowd as Kathleen pushes herself to her feet. Both ladies give each other a high five and call for the "Kradle Among the Roses"! Mercedes yanks Ayla to her feet and then hoists her unto her shoulders in a Reverse Death Valley Driver position. She looks over to Kathleen who has pulled Rayne up and now has her in position. They give each other the nod and then Kathleen manages to hit her "Kat's Kradle"(Bimbo Plant)!... But Mercedes is unable to deliver her "Black Rose Overdrive"(Burning Hammer)! Instead, Ayla kicks her legs and causes Vargas to lose balance and Ayla lands on her feet in front of Mercedes. AYla then counters grabbing Mercedes in one fluid motion and hitting her "Canada Star"(C-4)! Kathleen foolishly pins Rayne and doesn't notice that Mercedes was unable to complete her half of the finisher and is instead being pinned by Ayla as the ref drops and 1... 2... 3!! Ayla picks up the victory for Bitches with Attitude!!!}
Kelly Knite: Kathleen with the mistake was unable to help out Mercedes in her time of need and now we have new nCw Starlet's Tag Team Champions.
{Kathleen jumps to her feet on the third slap of the mat with a big old smile on her face thinking they had the match won until she notices the ref giving her belts to Ayla and Rayne. Kathleen gets all up on the ref's grill claiming that she had Rayne pinned for the three and then the ref explains that she was not the legal woman of the match. Kathy continues to argue but her arguments go unheard.}
Eric Hardy: It was a hard fought match but I have a feeling Opportunity may not let this stand.
Willy Carter: B.W.A. won by an inch Eric. AN INCH!
Kelly Knite: Maybe Willy but in this type of match the smallest mistakes can cost you big time.
{"Iron Army" hits the p.a. as Rayne and Ayla simultaneously stand and give each other a hug before raising their belts high into the air as they both climb a corner. Mercedes stands and Kathleen has a few choice words before Mercedes retaliates in kind. B.W.A. then jump off the turnbuckles and stare at Opportunity with a sly smirk before exiting the ring.}
MAIN EVENT
NCW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
One Fall
Steve Awesome* w/ Roxi Johnson vs. Ricky Johnson
Ricky Johnson believes the entire NCW world is trying to hold him down with his wild conspiracy theories, and now he's decided to take matters into his own hands by demanding a shot at the World champion. However there is something standing in his way... his wife, Roxi Johnson. Roxie has sided with the world champion in an attempt to keep Ricky from the title and bring him back down to Earth. The question now is can Ricky become the first ever NCW Grand Slam winner, or will Roxi achieve her proclaimed goal of keeping her husband away from the belt? It's Steve Awesome, The Face of the Franchise versus the man who has won virtually every title in NCW minus one... which man will walk out as champion? You'll have to watch and see.
Amber Ashe: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest, scheduled for one fall, is our MAIN EVENT of the evening, and it is for the NCW WORLD…HEAVYWEIGHT…CHAMPIONSHIP!
{The fans pop wildly for the announcement. "Defy You" plays on the PA system. A golden throne arises from the side of the ramp, encased by fire similar to the Gangrel entrance. Ricky is seated. Ricky stands, steps over the fire as it goes out, and heads down the aisle.}
Eric Hardy: There is one determined man right there.
Kelly Knite: I do not like his accusations towards my father, and his wild conspiracy theories, but I have to give the devil his due, Ricky has been on the roll of his life the past month, and it could all pay off here tonight.
{Ricky enters the ring to a mixed reaction, although there are more cheers then boos. He makes no motion to the fans, he simply stands in the corner, and waits. His music cuts, and there is a long silence. *All the lights in the arena suddenly go dark. The fans work themselves into a frenzy because they know who it is. They know who is coming. They begin to boo like crazy as a recorded voice over begins to play.
“AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME!”
A guitar riff begins to wail over the speakers. The guitar riff kicks in as the lights in the arena begin to strobe blue and green. As soon as the drums kick in a huge flash of light overtakes the entire arena and once your eyes re-adjust you find Steve Awesome, World title around his waist, is standing at the top of the stage, his arms outstretched in front of a giant heart logo that reads “Steve Awesome; Face of the Franchise”. He begins to walk down the ramp as the verse begins.
Gotta do a little bit of reminiscing on the days that just gone by
They say don't look back but I take things in stride
Everybody wanna minimize
They want to change what can't be undone
I can see it's a recipe that always leads to just no fun
{Awesome slides into the ring, ending the slide in the middle of the ring. He gets up on his knees as a slow motion effect begins and wind begins to blow his hair. He puts his arms out and flexes as blue and green pyro rain down from the ceiling.}
Regrets, I've had mine
Lonely nights and a whole lot of wasted time
If you see her won't you tell her for me
It's better this way to avoid our misery
He gets up and hit’s the turnbuckle as the crowd gives him a mixed reaction, but he still sits there embracing it all like they’re cheering. He drops down from the ring as the music fades. He pulls off his Steve Awesome t-shirt- available in stores now- and tosses to the crowd.}
Eric Hardy: There’s the champ.
Kelly Knite: I hate him so much.
Willy Carter: Apparently, you’re not alone.
Amber Ashe: Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing first….The challenger…From Tampa, Florida… he weighed in this evening, at two hundred forty-two pounds, He is….RICKY….JOHNSON!
{The fans give a mixed reaction, but Ricky makes no motion, he keeps his eyes locked on Steve.}
Amber Ashe: And his opponent…..hailing from Detroit, Michigan….He weighed in at Two hundred forty-four pounds…….He is the REIGNING… and DEFENDING…NCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! THIS…….IS……STEVE…..AWWWWESSSSOME!
{Another mixed reaction, slightly more boos then cheers, Steve Shrugs and points to his waist, where the title is.}
Eric Hardy: This may be the most mixed crowd ever in NCW history.
{Ricky leans with his butt against the middle turnbuckle, hands on the ropes on either side. He stares at Steve, who takes his sunglasses off, and tosses them aside. He un-straps the title from around his waist. He holds it up for all to see, as the fans give a mixed reaction. Steve hands the belt to the referee, and he calls both men to the middle of the ring. They comply, still staring at one another.}
Referee Bob Mailville: Gentlemen, this match is for the World championship. I will not be bullied, I will not be intimidated by either one of you. Watch the low blows, obey my commands at all times. You have a four count to break a submission hold once a man is in the ropes. I WILL disqualify you if I get to five. Let’s have a good clean match. Do both of you understand?
{Neither man says anything. The referee takes this as a sign of acknowledgement. Both men back off to a neutral corner.}
Referee Bob Mailville: Ring the bell.
{The bell sounds. The crowd cheers.}
Eric Hardy: Here we go.
Kelly Knite: This is intense.
{Steve tests out the ropes, because obviously the ring crew is suspect. Ricky fully stands, never taking his eyes off of Steve. The two men meet in the middle of the ring, staring at one another.}
Eric Hardy: These two men are so focused at this point. Both look in great condition.
Kelly Knite: It’s hard to pick a winner in this match.
{Ricky starts by trash talking Steve, which he starts jawing right back. Ricky backs off after a moment, and the two re-engage in a collar and elbow tie-up. Ricky strikes first with a headlock takeover, drawing a mixed reaction.}
Eric Hardy: A little wrestling to kick this match off.
{Steve gets to a knee, and smirks at Ricky, who is waiting for Steve to get up. Steve does so, and again they lock up, collar and elbow. Steve this time strikes and takes Ricky over with the headlock takeover. Another mixed reaction.}
Eric Hardy: And Steve Awesome responds.
{Ricky gets back to his feet quickly and they lock up again. Ricky switches to a side headlock, and cranks on it for a moment. Steve backs Ricky into the ropes and shoots him off. Ricky rebounds and Steve drops down. Ricky goes over the top and rebounds again. Ricky runs towards Steve and attempts a monkey-flip, which Steve amazingly lands on his feet. Steve hit’s the ropes himself as Ricky kips-up and Ricky attempts to hip-toss Steve on the rebound, but Steve blocks the attempt. Steve applies a hammer lock and tries a back suplex, which Ricky flips out of. Ricky backs to the nearest corner, where Steve charges, looking for a clothesline. Ricky ducks, but Steve catches himself and spring off the ropes looking to get behind Ricky again. Steve attempts a head scissors, but Ricky catches Steve’s feet, and throws them over the ropes, where Steve lands on the apron. Ricky swings with a clothesline but Steve ducks. Steve goes for a head kick, but Ricky blocks with his forearms. The impact causes Steve to stumble, and shift down the apron the maintain his balance. Ricky attempts to catapult Steve back in, but Steve flips in mid-air and again, lands on his feet. The two men stare at one another for the stand-off. The crowds applauds the effort.}
Eric Hardy: Amazing sequence right there.
Kelly Knite: Both men are equal at this point.
{Ricky and Steve again lock up, and Ricky changes to an arm-wringer. He twists a second time to drop Steve to a knee. Steve regains his feet and reverses to an arm-wringer of his own. Ricky rolls through and reverses it back. Steve drops to a knee and executes a single-leg to drop Ricky on his back. Steve quickly moves in and applies a side headlock, cranking it in return from earlier. The referee checks Ricky’s shoulders and he does a good job to keep at least one off the mat. Ricky gets back to his feet after a moment, and reveres the headlock into a top wristlock, then quickly to a hammer lock. Steve looks for an escape, and does so by reversing the hold. Ricky spins and does a drop toe hold, dropping Steve to his stomach. Ricky moves in and applies a front headlock, to which Steve sits out of, and re-applies the hammerlock to Ricky, and shoots a half-nelson into a crucifix pin. ONE.. Kickout. }
Eric Hardy: More fantastic chain wrestling from both men.
Kelly Knite: A slight edge to Steve Awesome on that exchange though.
{The two men lock up again and Steve backs Ricky into a corner. Steve breaks clean, but slips in some trash talk on the break. They lock up again and this time Ricky pushes Steve back into the corner. He also breaks clean, and jaws at Steve in return. Then out of nowhere, Ricky kicks Steve in the gut, doubling him over in the corner. Ricky whips Steve to the other corner, where Steve tips-up and over Ricky who stops himself short of the corner. Ricky spins and Steve attempts a front dropkick, which Ricky catches. Ricky catapults Steve into the corner, where Steve lands safely on the middle rope. Steve jumps backwards over Ricky and lands on his feet. Ricky attempts to spring off the ropes as well, but Steve pulls him off into a waist lock, and attempts a German suplex, which Ricky blocks. Steve tries again, and this time is successful, but Ricky back flips and lands on his feet. Ricky grabs Steve’s arm and attempts to whip him into another corner, but Steve reverses. Ricky hit’s the buckle and Steve follows him and goes for monkey flip of his own, and Ricky lands on his feet again to avoid any damage. The two men stand off again, and the crowd explodes again for the effort.}
Eric Hardy: Three straight standoffs. This is incredible.
Willy Carter: But Ricky Johnson walks away with a slight edge this time.
Kelly Knite: We could be here a while.
{The crowd has now broken into a dueling chant for both men.}
Crowd: STEVE IS AWESOME! / LET’S GO RICKY! / STEVE IS AWESOME! / LET’S GO RICKY!
{Ricky and Steve again lock up, amongst the chanting. Steve applies a side headlock again, and Ricky back Steve into the ropes, and shoots him off. Ricky is quick to follow Steve in and once he rebounds from the ropes, Ricky is already in the air and connects with a dropkick to Steve’s shoulder!}
Eric Hardy: Oh man, Steve’s shoulder!
Willy Carter: He’s had problems with it for a long time. Ricky has done his homework tonight.
{Awesome clutches his shoulder in pain, but Ricky is relentless, stomping and kicking Steve as he attempts to stand. Steve does eventually get to his feet, and backs into a corner. Ricky pursues, and throws a kick in to Steve’s gut to re-gain the momentum. Ricky takes the bad arm and drapes it over the top ropes and back in between the top and middle rope, and pulls. Awesome screams in pain as the ref begins counting 1.….2.….3.. Ricky breaks. Ricky then steps out on the apron and grabs Steve’s arm again, and this time DROPS from the apron to the floor, jerking the arm and shoulder down with him! The crowd “oohs“ at that move.}
Eric Hardy: Ricky Johnson could have broken Steve’s shoulder on that one!
Kelly Knite: He may have to in order to beat Steve tonight.
{Ricky stop and high-fives a fan who bares a striking resemblance to Trent Helms before he re-enters the ring and looks down on Steve writhing in pain on the mat. Ricky stomps Steve once, before applying an armbar. Ricky tucks Steve’s bad arm in between his arm and chest, while pushing Steve’s torso with his knee, and neck with his free hand. Steve‘s on his butt.}
Eric Hardy: And smart strategy by Ricky Johnson right there. He knows Steve’s got a bad shoulder, and he’s staying on it.
Kelly Knite: I may not like Ricky’s accusations towards my father, but he is a hell of a wrestler.
Willy Carter: Ricky Johnson is my homeboy.
Eric Hardy: …
Kelly Knite: Shut up, Willy.
{Meanwhile, Ricky is still applying pressure to Steve’s shoulder, but each time the referee asks him, he says “No.” And after each “No”, Ricky wrenches in the hold further. Steve is able to swing his leg up and get to a knee. Then to his feet. He reaches across his body with his free arm and elbows Ricky in the face. Then again. Then a third time, which breaks the hold. Steve then jumps up and NAILS Ricky with a step-up Enzuigiri! Ricky drops and rolls out of the ring to collect himself.}
Eric Hardy: Great move by Steve to buy himself a little time.
{Ricky slowly walks around collecting himself, when Steve hit’s the ropes…}
Eric Hardy: Steve Awesome will fly!
{Ricky sees this and gets out of harms way, as Steve springs to the top rope, and jumps back down. Ricky turns his back, thinking he just made Steve miss, but he doesn’t see Steve has again hit the ropes and dove out onto him through the ropes with an suicide elbow!}
Eric Hardy: Steve Awesome with an amazing dive there!
{The impact drives Ricky back-first into the guardrail, and Steve bounces off and hits on the ground. }
Crowd: N-C-Dub! N-C-Dub! N-C-Dub! N-C-Dub!
{Steve is able to get up first and pulls Ricky up to his feet and kicks him in the gut for good measure. He then chucks Ricky back inside the ring, and begins rotating his arm in order to get some feeling back in his shoulder. He rolls in as Ricky is back up and reeling. Awesome moves in with another kick, then a forearm. Steve backs Ricky into a corner and begins kicking him in the gut, dropping him to a seated position in the corner. Steve backs up and charges and then DRIVES a knee into Ricky’s face, ala Mick Foley. Ricky slumps down in a heap, and Steve pulls him out of the corner and goes for the cover. ONE…..TWO…..KICKOUT. Steve questions the count, wanting it to be faster. Steve picks Ricky up and gives him a couple of short forearms. Steve backs Ricky up and shoots him off into the ropes. On the rebound, Steve connects with a high-leg clothesline. He again covers, hooking the leg. ONE…..TWO…KICKOUT. Ricky scrambles into a corner and Steve is there to meet him as he stands with a thunderous chop. The fans “Whoo” at the impact. Steve follows it up with another, then a third. Steve whips Ricky across to the opposite corner, where he hits hard. Steve charges, but meets a back elbow for his troubles. Ricky charges, and Steve swings for a clothesline, but Ricky ducks under and hit’s a German suplex!}
Eric Hardy: And now Ricky Johnson counters Steve.
Kelly Knite: He may go for more than one here.
{Ricky indeed holds on and connects with another German suplex. The crowd begins counting as Ricky continues to latch on and hit’s a third. He keeps going and hit’s a fourth. Then, a fifth. He lets go and covers Steve, hooking the leg. ONE…TWO…KICKOUT. Ricky stands up, and looks down at Steve’s body and heads towards the corner.}
Eric Hardy: Ricky may be looking for the Burn Out here!
Willy Carter: If he hits it, we’ve got a new champion!
{Ricky begins climbing but as he makes it up, Steve is up and catches him with a forearm to the back, which drops Ricky off the turnbuckle. Steve continues to pound at Ricky’s back, then hits some STIFF kicks there as well, forcing Ricky to a knee in the corner, facing the buckles. Steve hops over him into the second rope, and turns around as Ricky stands. He grabs Ricky’s head and forcing him backwards. He hooks Ricky’s head and pushes off the turnbuckle in a spinning motion, nailing a tornado reverse DDT! He covers again, hooking both legs ONE….TWO…THR- KICKOUT! Steve slaps the mat in frustration, but gets up quickly. He picks Ricky up and shoots him off into the ropes, Steve drops his head for a backdrop, but it’s too early as Ricky spins around behind and grabs a waistlock, looking for another German suplex, but as he lifts, Steve shifts his momentum forward into a victory roll! ONE……TWO…..THR- KICKOUT AGAIN!}
Eric Hardy: So many near falls. Steve and Ricky are really going at it.
Kelly Knite: The World title is on the line. You have to do whatever it takes.
{Steve gets back up as Ricky gets up leaning against the ropes. Steve moves in, but Ricky kicks him in the gut to buy some time. Ricky grabs Steve by the hair and delivers a STIFF knee right to Steve’s nose, which forces a jerk reaction as Steve pulls away, and moves on his knees into a corner to create some distance. Ricky kicks Steve in the back, and when Steve’s hands move away from his face, we can see blood dripping from his nose.}
Eric Hardy: And Steve Awesome may have a broken nose.
{Ricky pulls Steve to the center of the ring and pulls him up. He hooks Steve for a Russian leg sweep, and hits it. Ricky peers down at Roxi, who at ringside, and hit’s the ropes and connects with a lionsault! He stays on top, hooking the near leg. ONE….TWO….THR-KICKOUT!}
Eric Hardy: Another kickout by Steve Awesome, and wait, Roxi is on the apron!
Kelly Knite: Be careful Roxi!
{Roxi is indeed on the apron, yelling at the referee, it catches Ricky’s attention, so he takes a swipe at her. Roxi drops down to avoid being hit.}
Eric Hardy: He almost hit her!
Willy Carter: Is Ricky Johnson gonna have to slap a -
Eric and Kelly : SHUT UP WILLY!
{Ricky continues to make threatening gestures towards his wife before turning his attention to Steve who is on his knees. Ricky reaches down to pick him up, but Steve reaches up and catches Ricky in an inside cradle! ONE….TWO….THRE- KICKOUT! }
Eric Hardy: So close right there.
{Ricky gets up in a rage, and Steve is there to meet with a clothesline. Ricky gets up, and gets another. He get up again, and charges for a clothesline of his own. Steve ducks, and when Ricky spins back around he is NAILED by a super kick!}
Eric Hardy: JAW-BREAKER!
{Ricky stumbles against the ropes and rebounds out on his feet. Steve charges and nails a running knee to the gut, doubling Ricky over. Steve hit’s the parallel ropes and flips in the air before doing a scissors kick!}
Willy Carter: And now the BRIAN SCRAMBLER!
{Ricky is dead in the center of the ring. Steve signals for the end of the match. Ricky slowly gets to his feet, dazed. Steve lifts him onto his shoulders.}
Eric Hardy: SteveKO coming up!
{Before Steve can do the move, Ricky panics and begins driving elbows into Steve’s injured shoulder. That causes Ricky to drop down behind Steve and regain himself. He spins Steve around, grabs his arm, and leaps up with a modified SOLUTION straight to the arm and shoulder of Steve!}
Eric Hardy: Desperation move by Ricky Johnson there.
Kelly Knite: He knew he was in position for Steve’s big move. He fought out to save his title hopes.
{Steve rolls around in pain in the ring, as Ricky checks to make sure he is not bleeding. When he figures out he’s not, he runs in an applies a cross arm breaker!}
Eric Hardy: And now a cross-arm breaker. Ricky goes back to the shoulder.
{Ricky wrenches the move, pulling for all he’s worth. Awesome still won’t submit to the hold. He begins working his way towards the ropes. The ref continues to ask if he wants to quit, and again and again he says “No”}
Willy Carter: He’s may not want to quit, but if this keeps up, He may have no choice.
{Steve works his legs toward the ropes, but cannot reach. He devises a new strategy of turning into the hold. He is able to clasp his hands together to break some of the pressure. He starts to stand, slowly. First to his knees, then on one knee, and finally to both feet. Ricky wrenches back as Steve tries to grab the top rope, and Steve falls back into the hold, but a little closer to the ropes. On the outside, Roxi conveniently pushes the ropes in towards Steve, and he is able to grab the ropes with his foot. The ref sees this and forces Ricky to break.}
Eric Hardy: Roxi just may have saved Steve Awesome right there.
Kelly Knite: She’s keeping her promise, Eric.
{Ricky breaks and tells the ref what Roxi did. The ref says he did not see it. Ricky eyeballs Roxi as he stalks Steve who is getting back up. Steve makes it to the corner where Ricky is there to meet with some chops. “whoo” goes the crowd again. Ricky then places Steve on the top rope in the corner.
