Mac Bane v. Justin Marsham
The Big Texan took on the Cruiserweight like Marsham in this contest, which had Marsham using his speed, to try to cut the Big Texan known as Mac Bane down by kicking away at his knees, and seemed to be keeping things balanced with the much agile Marsham until a kick of his own in his Size 15 Boot right into the Face of Marsham, finally finishing him off with a Double Underhook Faceslam for the win.
Mark Evil v. Mark Khane
Mark Evil wasn't a happy customer in this one, mostly due to the hated The Evil family has for the Callaways, while Kahne is a close friend of that Family, as Mark was making his entrance, That would be Kahne, not Evil, the Other Mark, named Evil assulted him with his Barbed Wire Steel Chair, eventually Kahne was able to make it back to his feet and battled with Evil, however it never quite made it to the ring and after just a few minutes of brawling in the Entrance Way, they made it backstage, Where General's Secruity was able to get them seperated.
Jack Hammond v. Mr. Showtime
Showtime took it to the Fan Favorite Hammond, using his size and some decepted Speed to Keep the Hamster off balanced in this contest, keeping him grounded, until Hamster began to Fly.When it seemed like he was about to Put Showtime Away, Showtime caught him with a Low Blow, unknown to official Mitch Kennedy, and went for the Blockbuster, However Hammond pushed him off, to be staddled on the Second Turnbuckle, as Hammond nails a Stiff Kick to the back of the head of Showtime, before finishing him off with a Rope Hung Inverted DDT for the Win.
{We get nCw started straight away tonight, immediately following the opening video we are taken to ringside with Willy and Eric.}
Eric Hardy: Welcome to another amazing addition of nCw's Collision fans.
Willy Carter: it's out first show since Picture Perfect and we have a lot in store for you fans.
Eric Hardy: We have a special tribute set up for the "still" World Champion, Lance Ryan.
Willy Carter: Another PPV comes and goes and yet Lance is still on the top of the world… it's amazing. Not to mention the other great matches we have set up and ready to go.
Eric Hardy: Just think about it, starting right now, we have Davey Ortega taking on AJ Phoenix, to open the show… now that's action.
Willy Carter: It sure is, just goes to show you what we have in store for the fans here.
{Forsaken comes on with the lights dimming.
I'm over it
You see I'm falling in a vast abyss
White strobes begin to flicker, Davey Ortega comes out on to the stage, standing in the center. He looks around as the people cheer. He lets out a smile, and begins to walk down the rampway
You see I can not be forsaken
Because I'm not the only one
Davey stops dead center of the ramp way, and raises his hands to another pop from the fans. He smiles again, almost basking in the cheers. He then begins to walk again, leaning towards the right side of the fans, letting them touch his arm, occasionally slapping their hands. He walks up the stairs, and into the ring. He runs to the opposite turnbuckle and gets on top, raising his hands as the cameras go off and the fans scream. he hops down and waits.}
Eric Hardy: And here is Davey Ortega ready to get this match under way.
Willy Carter: Ortega has been a different man because of recent events, he barely resembles the cocky conveying Davey Ortega that we're so used to seeing.
The start of over and under by egypt central comes over the PA, the lights dim down as "The Fallen" AJ Phoenix emerges in a long sleeveless coat with a hood covering his facial features, he makes his way down to the ring and leaps up onto the ring apron he climbs between the ropes and flips his hood back before removing the coat
Eric Hardy: And here is his opponent, AJ Phoenix. A man who is quickly catching the eye of nCw management.
Willy Carter: He's a had a couple of tough breaks since joining nCw but he's also had some impressive ones
Eric Hardy: Like defeating the current National Champion one on one?
Willy Carter: Exactly, I can see this AJ Phoenix being a real to player in nCw in the future.
Eric Hardy: As can I, but tonight he has Davey Ortega, who isn't some push over in his own right.
Willy Carter: That's true, Ortega is one of the best.
{AJ Phoenix gets the action started fast as he's on the offensive as soon as the bell is rang. He comes at Ortega fast with a quick kick that catches Davey in the thigh. Ortega grabs at his leg in pain and takes another kick to his now exposed ribs that sends him back straight up. Phoenix kicks Ortega again, and again, before jumping in the air and hitting a spinning heel that catches Ortega right in the jaw and sends him down to the mat. AJ runs to the opposite side of the ring and bounces off the ropes, he comes back and hits a flipping senton onto Ortega. Ortega grasps his chest in pain as Phoenix hooks a leg and covers him. 1….2… but Ortega won't be put out that easily. Phoenix takes Ortega by the arm and yanks him hard off the mat. Ortega comes forward looking for a big forearm smash but Phoenix easily ducks under the attack, Ortega turns around fast to face Phoenix but as soon as he does he takes a kick in the stomach and then is planted with a fast DDT, Phoenix rolls over and covers Ortega again 1….2… but much of the same as Ortega kicks out again.}
Eric Hardy: Phoenix is attacking Ortega hard and fast in this match.
Willy Carter: he's trying to make his mark early, that's for sure, taking the fight straight to Ortega.
{AJ pulls Ortega back to his feet and Irish whips him into the ropes, Ortega comes back and takes a big clothesline from Phoenix's right arm that puts Ortega flipping back down to the mat. Phoenix recovers Ortega trying to get the pin again. 1….2… but again Ortega is able to kick out. Phoenix looks annoyed early as he takes one of Ortega's legs and drags him to the middle of the ring, he reaches down and pulls Ortega legs up, looking for some sort of submission but Ortega doesn't give him the time before he kicks Phoenix in the jaw with his free leg. Phoenix takes a step back holding his face before he charges forward, but Ortega catches Phoenix and monkey flips him over onto his back. Both men quickly turn over and get back to their feet and charge at each other, Ortega comes in with a clothesline but Phoenix just runs under the attempt, Ortega turns around and Phoenix attempts a jumping spin kick but Ortega catches his foot. AJ spins around looking for an eziguiri but Ortega ducks his head and Phoenix spins around landing back on his free foot. Ortega kicks his left leg hard putting the toe of his boot into the gut of Phoenix while simultaneously putting his leg into his groin, a legal Hail to the GM of sorts. AJ crumbles to the mat holding his stuff as Ortega runs and springs boards off the ropes and connects with the GM Assault! He stays on top of AJ and hooks both legs after the move.}
Eric Hardy: Davey Ortega has taken the momentum squarely away from Phoenix, after an early assault.
Willy Carter: And it appears he has taken the win too.
Eric Hardy: It appears that way.
{Norman Dafoe gets into position and begins counting 1…..2…. but AJ Phoenix is just able to pull his shoulder off the mat to break the pin.}
Willy Carter: AJ Phoenix has more in him than we gave him credit for Hardy.
Eric Hardy: This AJ Phoenix sure is impressive, I'd venture that, that flurry of attacks would have put over half the roster down.
Willy Carter: That would be a safe bet.
{Ortega reaches down and pulls Phoenix back to his feet. Ortega takes Phoenix by the back of the head and runs him into the ropes and puts AJ's head against the top rope and rubs his forehead across it. Ortega lets go and Phoenix takes a step back holding both hands to his forehead in pain, and Ortega leaps and puts both of his feet into AJ's jaw with a drop kick. Aj rolls over and starts pushing himself up off the mat but Ortega runs and gives him a stiff kick right in the ribs before he can get up. The kick puts AJ into the air before he falls face first to the mat. Ortega grabs Phoenix's ankle and clamps in the ankle lock. Phoenix screams out in pain as he claws and reaches for the ropes, but he's too far away. Ortega drops to one knee now and has the hold firmly locked in. Phoenix manages to pull and fight his way towards the ropes but Ortega still has the hold strongly locked into place.
Eric Hardy: I think this is it for AJ....
Willy Carter: I don't know about that Hardy.
{Phoenix tries to get to the ropes he reaches out and is about to crap them when Ortega gets back up and drags Phoenix back to the middle of the ring, however this gives AJ just enough time to spin and catch Ortega in the chest with a kick, that breaks up the hold. Ortega steps back as Phoenix rolls back to his feet. He runs and connects with an AJ Guri that puts Ortega down, Phoenix covers 1....2.. but Ortega is out. Phoenix takes a step back and waits for Ortega to get to his feet, just as he does Phoenix comes rushing in and grabs Ortega and hits a release T Bone suplex! Ortega holds his back as AJ covers again, 1....2... but again Ortega is able to get a shoulder off the mat. Phoenix pulls Ortega to his feet and hits a spinning neck breaker before climbing the ropes. Phoenix comes flying off with a spiral tap, but Ortega isn't there! Phoenix holds his bottom in pain as he tries to get to his feet, he does but as soon as he turns around he takes a setting Sun! Ortega covers 1....2...3! Ortega wins!
Eric Hardy: Davey Ortega's done it. He's managed to beat off this young up and comer.
Willy Carter: AJ put up one heck of a match though.
Eric Hardy: He sure did, just a matter of time before he gets his shot.
Willy Carter: No doubt.
{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}
We cut away from the action of Collision and we find "Super Cool" Chad Lights standing by with Steve Awesome. Although Steve doesn't seem like his normal self. His face pointed away from the camera. Unable to face the lens of the camera, or for that matter, the people watching what that lens captures.
Chad Lights: "Steve Awesome. I'm glad you decided to take this interview. Nobody has been able to reach you since Picture Perfect."
Steve Awesome: "Then mission accomplished."
Chad Lights: "What do you mean?"
Awesome turns to look at Chad.
Steve Awesome: "Do you have to know where I am every day? Can't a guy take a few days off to reflect? Get in touch with nature? Catch a few flicks for once?"
Chad Lights: "I'm sure you could, but we just wanted to get your thoughts on your match at Picture Perfect. Being a journalist I sort of crave those sorts of things."
Steve Awesome: "You wanted to rub it in my face didn't you? I made such a big deal about it being my time and what not, only to walk into that match and lose. Be the guy that took the pin, and the guy that was hurdled out of the world title scene. At least for now."
Chad Lights: "Is that what you think?"
Steve Awesome: "Of course its what I think, I wouldn't have said it if I didn't. But you know what Chad, it feels good to lose. It feels good to get that stress off my back. I was being pushed into that match for all the wrong reasons. Kole wanted me to win it for the Empire, I wanted it so that I could shut the mouths of my critics. Steve Awesome can't win the big matches, I know you've herd that crap. I wanted it for the pay raise, the raise in status, the respect, the fame, the attention. But now that I look back on it….it was all wrong."
Chad Lights: "How, exactly is that wrong?"
Steve Awesome: "All that was to appease other people. I just want to want it. That's all I need on my mind. Everything else was just clouding my judgment. Rest assured, the next time I get a chance at that world title, things will go differently. But for now…..
Steve pauses for a moment as something catches his eye. A few feet away, next to there locker room, was Mr. Showtime and AJ Phoenix of Lethal Intent sharing a conversation. The two share a laugh as they start to head down the hall.
Steve Awesome: "For now Chad, I'm going to do what I want to do."
And with that, Steve Awesome walks off screen and we cut back to ringside.
As we come back we see Roxi in the ring waiting and Ricky on the outside as 'Down by 311' fades away…
Hardy: Roxi looks set to go here…
Carter: Kittens!
Hardy: What?
Carter: Well she is facing a woman who thinks she's a cat, so it seemed appropriate…
The arena lights dim as a white stallion gallops on screen and rears majestically naying, the image morphs into a caged tiger roaring before the opening flute and violin play. The Ace appears on stage and outstretches his arms as huge flame pyros erupt either side of the ramp and cards begin to fall from the rafters as the lyrics to 'Face To Face' by Siouxsie & The Banshees kick in. Kathy crawls up through his legs, using the Xtreme title that dangles from his trunks as a catflap and hisses like a cat.
Amber Ashe: On her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, representing the Corporate Empire and being accompanied to the ring by The Ace…KATHLEEN CONWAY-JONES!
She snakes her way up his side to her feet and the odd couple make their way down the ramp through the falling cards as the lights flash red and purple. The Ace walks up the steel steps and through the ropes to the centre of the ring as Kathy crawls in behind him and again through his legs and the still dangling Xtreme title as he outstretches his arms. Kathy gets to her feet infront of him and turns around to lick him on the cheek and The Ace kisses his wife on the cheek for luck as the music fades. The Ace leaves the ring, and walks over to the announce table as he lays his Xtreme title across it and takes a seat next to Hardy and Carter, putting a headset on.
Hardy: Looks like we're going to be joined by the Xtreme Champion for this match…
Carter: I'm honoured…how are you sir?
The Ace: As well you should be Carter, you could learn a lot from this man, Hardy…
Carter grins as Hardy just rolls his eyes. The referee signals for the opening bell and as it rings, Roxi leaps on to Kathy and the two women roll around, trading blows to the face, Roxi gets the upper hand and starts pounding Kathy's head into the mat as Ricky taps the apron, cheering her on.
Hardy: Roxi is on fire here…
Carter: I'm guessing you're not happy about this, Ace
The Ace: Its early days yet, I have every confidence in my baby!
Roxi finally lets up and goes over to the turnbuckle as Kathy clutches the back of her head on the floor. Roxi climbs to the top rope and signals for a diving moonsault as the crowd cheer, Roxi taunts before executing the move but just as Roxi comes down, Kathy rolls out of the way.
Carter: Crash and burn!
Hardy: Nobody home there…
The Ace: See I told you…Come on baby!
Kathy grins as she gets to her feet and looks over at The Ace. He winks at her and this seems to inspire Kathy as she stomps away at the head of the fallen Roxi with an animalistic rage. The crowd boo and start chanting for Roxi. Kathy looks at the crowd and growls before pulling Roxi to her feet by the hair. The referee starts to warn her about pulling the hair, Kathy just glares at him before setting Roxi up for a suplex.
The Ace: Stupid referee
Hardy: He's just doing his job
Kathy hits a quick snap suplex and floats over for the cover…1…2…Roxi kicks out…
The Ace: You call that doing his job?
Carter: If I can be serious for a moment, I've always wanted to know, what exactly is the attraction between you two? I mean how do you go from ladies man to marrying an…eccentric woman like Kathy?
Kathy once again gets Roxi to her feet and whips her across to the corner. Kathy backs up a couple of steps and decides to run full pelt at Roxi, attempting to nail a spear, but Roxi side steps and Kathy collides shoulder first with the unforgiving ring-post. Roxi now smells blood and grabs Kathy's right arm, pulling her out of the corner and wrenching it, Kathy falls face first onto the mat as Roxi immediately follows through with a reverse armbar, torturing the shoulder. Kathy screams out in pain as The Ace looks on in concern.
Hardy: Kathy looks to be in serious trouble here…
Carter: Will she tap out?
Ricky seems ecstatic at ring side as The Ace gets up from his seat, watching his wife desperately reaching for the ropes, they seem just out of her reach, and Kathy raises her hand as if she's going to tap, but The Ace takes off his headset and runs over, grabbing his wife's hand and pulling her slightly so she is grabbing the bottom rope, he ducks out of sight of the referee who turns around and sees Kathy grabbing the ropes. He yells at Roxi to let go, but Roxi refuses and so the referee is forced to use his five count. Ricky is irate at The Ace's actions and starts walking over to The Ace yelling as the two men get nose to nose. The referee reaches four and Roxi reluctantly lets go of the hold.
Hardy: What cheap tactics by The Ace
Carter: That's the power of love, Eric
Hardy: In any case, Ricky doesn't look too happy here
Ricky shoves The Ace. The Ace shoves back. The referee is too distracted by what's going on outside to notice that Kathy has got back to her feet and is now pulling Roxi by the hair over to the corner. Kathy then proceeds to bash Roxi's head into the turnbuckle repeatedly as the crowd count along. 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9….Kathy hisses as she holds a woozy Roxi by the hair…10. The final one is with such force that Roxi almost bounces back a few steps before she collapses. Meanwhile The Ace returns to the announce table as if nothing happened. He takes a seat and puts the headset back on. Ricky looks on in dismay as he turns around to see his Roxi crumbled on the floor, he taps the apron and yells for her to get up as Kathy simply licks her lips in sadistic satisfaction.
Carter: Welcome back, maybe now you can answer my question
Hardy: So you're just going to ignore what just happened?
The Ace: I'd be more than happy to answer you Willy, you see I don't expect anyone to understand what Kat and I share, all I know is men would kill for it women just cry themselves to sleep wishing they had it from their husbands. Bottom line is Kathy gave me a beautiful little daughter and we love each other unconditionally, that's how I knew she was the one who I would spend my life with. She completes me.
Kathy pulls Roxi to her feet and hooks her in a front facelock attempting to go for a DDT, but Roxi spins out of it and hits a sudden Twist of Fate on Kathy…
Hardy: What a counter…out of nowhere!
Carter: I see I also wanted to talk to you about -
Carter is cut off as Roxi goes for the pin…1…2…Kathy rolls a shoulder up. Roxi seems a little frustrated and starts stomping away at Kathy's right shoulder, before kicking her in the back, so that she rolls onto her stomach. Roxi tries to hook in a camel clutch but Kathy fights her off with stiff elbows to the face. Roxi staggers backwards clutching her jaw as Kathy springs to her feet. The two women stare at each other before Roxi runs at Kathy, but Kathy leap frogs Roxi and lands on her feet as Roxi rebounds, Kathy jumps up and catches her with a Lou Thesz Press, delivering stiff punches to Roxi's face.
Hardy: Impressive athletism there
Carter: As I was saying Ace, I wanted to talk to you about what happened this past week at Picture Perfect, not only did you become Xtreme Champion, but you also were found out as the man who attacked Ortega several weeks ago. My question is why? I mean I thought you two were friends…and also why go to the trouble of framing Knite for it…
The Ace: *laughing* I don't need a choke artist like Ortega as a friend, he never helped me get ahead, and where was he when Steve and I got screwed out of the tag team titles? He promised us he had our backs, he lied, so I knew I had to take matters into my own hands and show Ortega what happens to people who don't keep their promises to me, as for Knite, well every picture perfect plan needs a frame, so Knite was the perfect fall guy given he capitalised on it by screwing the best damn tag team on the planet out of their titles…
Kathy gets off Roxi and gets on all fours, poised to strike as she stares at Roxi, waiting for her to get to her feet, Roxi slowly staggers back to her feet and Kathy tries to lift Roxi for the Kat Nip Spinebuster, but Roxi has it scouted and wraps her legs around Kathy's waist in a modified body scissors, using her thighs to squeeze the abdomen…
Hardy: What a unique counter here, trying to squeeze all the air out of Kathy…
Ricky cheers his wife on from ringside as the referee asks Kathy if she wants to give it up, Kathy shakes her head in a determined no as she screams in pain. Kathy starts to fade, she slowly drops to one knee as Roxi keeps the hold applied, The Ace stands up at the announce table and yells at Kathy, the referee is still asking if Kathy wants to give it up, as Roxi is almost horizontal now, with her legs still firmly around Kathy's waist, finally Kathy summons the strength to pull Roxi's head down and her neck over her bended knee in a modified neck and backbreaker combo…
The crowd go nuts, never having seen such a counter before, much less in a women's match as Roxi releases the hold, she slumps to the floor, clutching her neck as Kathy holds her ribs, fighting to regain her breath…
Hardy: Wow, just wow…
Carter: Amazing!
The Ace: That's my baby!
The Ace sits back down with a huge grin on his face as Kathy staggers back to her feet and uses the ropes to steady herself, Roxi rolls out of the ring, still clutching her neck as a concerned Ricky checks on her. The referee begins the count. 1…2…3…4…5…6…Kathy shakes her head and slides out of the ring. She slaps Ricky across the face and Ricky looks like he's going to hit her back, but he looks back at The Ace who simply shakes his head. Kathy shoves Ricky out of the way and drags Roxi back to her feet and goes to whip her into the steel steps but Roxi counters and Kathy ends up crashing into them, her right shoulder first.
Hardy: Wow these two women are really showing that they can wrestle here tonight!
Carter: No doubt, but Ace, I wanted to ask you one more question if I may? Why did you feel the need to imitate Spike Kane last week, was it simply a case of student paying homage to teacher even though he is responsible for your wife's mental state?
The Ace: Not at all, more a game of one-upsmanship, I wanted to show the world that anything God can do, Satan can do better and it paid off, I am the nCw Xtreme Champion now…
Roxi drags Kathy to her feet as the referee reaches a count of seven and rolls Kathy quickly under the bottom rope before entering the ring herself…Roxi drops down into a quick cover…1…2…Kathy kicks out…
Hardy: Almost had it there!
Carter: Ace, how do you react to people regarding you as the most hated man in nCw right now?
Hardy: Am I the only one calling this match?
The Ace: People want to hate me, that's fine, these idiot fans want to spend their hard earned money to see me get my ass kicked by jackasses like Knite and Ortega, that's fine too. It doesn't mean that they'll not leave disappointed at the end of the night. Those who are incapable of achieving greatness are the ones who despise it, I know that I'm great, I'm the only one in the Corporate Empire worth a damn right now, JFK blew it as did Steve, yet I walked out as a Champion…and with this title I've got everyone talking, Davey wants revenge, Knite wants revenge, Jason wants revenge…they all do…but what they all need to understand is that Revenge is a dish best served by the cold hearted…and none of them are as cold and heartless as I am - I…
The Ace is cut off as Roxi drags Kathy to her feet and walks her to the middle of the ring. She turns and looks at Ricky and grins, she looks over at The Ace and draws a thumb across her throat as a signal that this would be the end of his wife, but as Roxi is taunting, Kathy delivers a sudden Kat Kall - Kathy drops to all fours, laughing…
The Ace: Go baby! Go!
Hardy: Out of nowhere…
Carter: Quick as a cat…
Kathy goes for the cover…1…2…3…
