{nCw's Collision kicks off with the video montage set to There and Back Again by Daughtry before it cuts to the arena. The camera spans the crowd before settling on Eric Hardy and Willy Carter.}
Eric Hardy: Welcome to another exciting nCw Collision. As usual I'm Eric Hardy and this is my co host, Willy Carter.
Willy Carter: Wow, Eric we have quite a show in store for us. We have Empire members squaring off in a lumberjack match. We have Trent Helms and Angel in a barb wire rope match and we even have a flaming tables match!
Eric Hardy: That's right Willy, we have a lot in store for you fans tonight so lets waste no time and get right to our first match.
(Your TV screen goes to black and white, in widescreen and HD (where available) to be able to handle the gloriousness that is... Mr. Showtime.)
"Don't you wanna be meeeee..!??"
(Mr. Showtime emerges from backstage. Walks slowly, letting the crowd take in the awesomeness. He stops, surveying the captive audience. Then raises his arms in greatness as the pyro rain comes down from the Titantron.)
"I see.. the way... you look at me...
You envy me... (you envy me..)
And it's killing you... (eating you alive)
You know it makes me smile..
When I look in the mirror
Thinking how good it is to be king.."
(Mr. Showtime casually walks to the ring, without a care in the world. After all, these people paid to see him, and only him. He slowly walks up the stairs, and enters the ring.)
"And don't you wish you were me..
The King of all you see..
Don't you wish you were me..
It ain't that easy..
Don't think you'll ever be..
Anything a man should be..
Don't you wish you me?
Keep dreamin..
You'll never be me!"
(Mr. Showtime walks across the ring to the far turnbuckle. He climbs to the second rope, leans back, and strikes a pose for the fans as pyro rain falls from the ceiling around the ring. He hops down, and waits for his next hapless opponent.)
Eric Hardy: The cocky Mr Showtime
Willy Carter: But he can back it up
The lights go out in the arena then Praise by Sevendust begins to blare over the sound system. about 10 seconds into the song You see John Anthony emerge from the curtin followed by Armelli. He walks out and crosses his arms and stops at the top of the ramp then pyro shoots off behind him As the Pyro is shooting off Armelli is pointing at Anthony. He then walks to the ring with his arms at his side followed by Armelli. When he gets to the apron and he stands there for a few seconds before jumping on the apron. You see Armelli walking up steps and walks through the ropes. Before Anthony steps through the ropes he wipes his feet off. He gets in the ring takes his sun glasses off and throws them to the crowd. He walks to each of the turnbuckles raising his arms high in the air. As Anthony is going to each turnbuckle Armelli is talking to the ref. Anthony steps down and walks to the far corner waiting for the bell to sound.
Eric Hardy: And the returning John Anthony
Willy Carter: If Mr Showtime thinks he's going to have a walk through he's mistaken
Showtime looks John Anthony up and down and shakes his head laughing, he looks at the crowd and mouths "is he serious?". Showtime walks up to John Anthony and starts talking smack, he laughs points to himself although we can't make out what he's saying. After a moment John Anthony smiles and laughs back, he nods and mouths "ok" . Showtime and John Anthony both laugh and have come to some kind of agreement, they shake hands and then the smile disappears from John Anthony's face, Showtime tries to pulls his hand back but he can't, John Anthony pulls Showtime onto his shoulders and hits a hard samoan drop, Showtime rolls around and out of the ring holding his back
Eric Hardy: That was...different....
Willy Carter: Mr Showtime looks insulted
Eric Hardy: He was...he was made to look the fool...
Showtime walks around the outside of the right talking with some fans, John Anthony gets tired of waiting and rolls under the bottom rope, he comes up behind Showtime and grabs his arm, he spins Showtime around and hits a hard right hand, he then rolls Showtime into the ring, he follows in but Showtime gets the drop on him hitting a hard clothesline, Showtime then starts stomping John Anthony as hard as he can, he mounts him and hits a few forearm shivers, Showtimes gets back to his feet and measures John Anthony up, he goes for a knee drop to the head
Eric Hardy: Oh this is gonna hurt
Willy Carter: Headache time...
John Anthony rolls out of the way causing showtime's knee to crash against the mat, Showtime limps around holding his knee wincing in pain, John Anthony gets to his feet, he hooks his arms around Showtime's waist, he picks him up and drills him with a hard german suplex, he bridges going for the pin
1..2...Showtime kicks out
John Anthony pulls Showtime to his feet and goes for a vertical suplex, Showtime blocks it, Anthony tries again, and again Showtime blocks it this time hitting a knee to John Anthony's skull. Showtime dropas down and goes for the "blockbuster"(RKO)John Anthony throws Showtime forward into the ropes, showtime runs back at Anthony who ducks down, Showtime telegraphs it and hits a DDT before nipping up
Eric Hardy: The cocky Mr Showtime at his best
Willy Carter: If he's not careful John Anthony will beat the cockyness out of him
Showtime climbs to the top rope, he waits and measures John Anthony for something, he leaps off going for a crossbody, John Anthony catches Showtime and lifts him up over his head hitting another samoan drop, anthony goes for the pin
1...2..again showtime kicks out
John Anthonjy gets to his feet and shakes his head, he looks around and calls for the dead on arrival(inverted dvd), he pulls showqtime toward him and gets him in the position, showtime slips out of it behind John Anthony, he leaps forward and hits a desperation superkick both men falling to the mat
Erix hardy: Both men are down!
Willy Carter: Can either man get up?
Both men stumble to their feet, showtime goes for the "main event"*angle slam), John Anthony reverses it and goes for the dead on arrival again, Showtime slips out of it ands goes for another superkick, John Anthony ducks, showtime runs at John Anthony who again ducks down and goes for a back body drop, Showtime spins in mid air and hits a blockbuster! He goes for the pin
1..2...3
Eric Hardy: He's done it, Showtime has beaten one of the top wrestlers in nCw, John Anthony.
Willy Carter : This guy sure has been on a roll since signing up Hardy.
Eric Hardy: There's no doubt about that Willy.
{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}
{As we come back from commercial, Eric Hardy is standing in the middle of the nCw ring and the lights in the arena are dimmed.}
Eric Hardy: Fans, at this time we are going to take it down for a moment, and we are going to hear from a man that has been away from the company for a couple of weeks now. Our World Champion has been taking some personal time, and that is why he hasn't been a part of Collision in a match last week or this week. This week however, he decided that it was time to come out and speak to you, his fans, and let us all know where he stands. So without further ado
ladies and gentlemen, the nCw World Champion, The Icon
Lance Ryan!
{"Run" by Day of Fire hits the PA System and the fans all get to their feet and start to cheer as Lance Ryan walks slowly out atop the entry-way. Lance is dressed in a black suit and he has the championship hung over his shoulder. He raises one arm in the air and the fans continue to cheer as he slowly makes his way down the ramp way. As he makes his way down he stops and shakes hands with some kids in the crowd and he slaps fists with others as well. Lance stops outside the ring and stares up at it for a moment and then climbs the few steps to the apron. He looks out at the crowd and then enters the ring. He walks over to Eric Hardy and shakes his hand. Eric takes his leave from the ring as Lance takes in the cheers from the crowd. He seems a bit choked up and he wipes some tears from his eyes.}
Lance Ryan: Well. As everyone has heard now, I have been taking some personal time away from the ring. What everyone has not been privy to however is the fact that I have taken this time because of the passing of my grandfather. For my entire life, my grandfather has been a big part of my life. When I was living on the streets, he took me in. When I needed advice, he was there to give it to me. When I was down and out, he picked my ass up off the ground and dusted me off. That man that I respected for my entire life is no longer with us anymore. Being in that hospital for five days while he was on life support was the hardest five days of my life. I sat there in the room with him, holding his hand and begging for everything to be alright. I cried with him, I told him that I loved him, and finally I told him that if he was done fighting, that was alright too. If the fight was over, I understood, because I have been feeling the same way about my wrestling career, the fight has left me. I am ready to go.
{The fans can be heard taking a deep breath together.}
Lance Ryan: For a long time I have been talking about retirement, and I have been saying that when I lose this belt, that will be my last match
well, the time has come to make another decision. I have decided that my retirement will not be waiting for that loss, my retirement cannot hinge on losing this title, I have decided that it's time to accept that my retirement has to come on my terms, and in my timing.
Willy Carter: It sounds like Lance is saying his goodbyes to the industry right here tonight. It has been an incredible road.
Lance Ryan: When they took my grandfather off of the life support and his body fought for two hours to keep him alive, it was the hardest thing that I have ever had to go through in my entire life. Sitting there and listening to his body gasp for breathe, I reflected back on his life, and how amazing his 81 years truly were. For 81 years he did it his way, he lived through every day like it was his llast, he was active, he was always teaching people new things, and he was always trying to be the light in everyone's life. The bottom line is that he did it his way, doing what he loved to do, right down until the end. Right down to when his heart gave out on him, he was out doing what he wanted to do. It was these thoughts that made me reflect even upon my own life. I have always loved being a professional wrestler, I have always loved being a part of this industry, and just like him, I can continue to do what I love, while still looking after the ones that I love. I realize now that to take care of Jamie and Zell, I don't need to walk away from wrestling, I can do both. Life is short and we need to do what we enjoy while we are here.
{Lance rips off the suit jacket and the dress shirt that he was wearing and he climbs up to one of the turnbuckles.}
Lance Ryan: Steve Awesome and Trent Helms, I know that the two of you can hear me from wherever you are, and I know that you were begging for my retirement so you could guarantee that one of you would walk away from Picture Perfect as the Champion
well I hate to be the bearer of bad news boys, but that is not going to happen. Picture Perfect is going to be the return of Lance Ryan, the return of the World Champion, the return of the Hall of Famer
at Picture Perfect I am going to give the two of you the fight of your damn lives. In the spirit of my late grandfather, I am going to put on yet another match of the year, just like with Holland, just like with RJ
only this time there is no threat of retirement, this time there is no worry that this will be my last match
because win or lose I am going to continue to do what I love to do, and that is wrestle. Steve and Trent, I hope that you are ready because I am refreshed, I am invigorated
I am The Icon of this industry, and I assure you that the time is nigh for the true stars to shine, and the reality is in need of being set boys
REAL STARS SHINE IN THE DARK
it's the wannabees that fizzle out.
{Lance drops the microphone and the fans cheer loudly as Lance makes his way up the ramp.}
The crowd is deathly silent as the beginning guitar lick of Tear Away by Drowning Pool hits and during the entrance Hardy heads back to the commentary table.. There are mixed reactions from the crowd, some cheers, some boos.
Willy Carter: Welcome back E. Hard.
Eric Hardy: Don't ever call me that again.
Willy Carter: My bad.
As soon as the opening line is said, red, orange and yellow multicolored pyros begin to shot from the front and sides of the stage, firing straight up. Then, the entire stage is engulfed in flames, shooting from every pour of the stage.
"I'm tearing away
Pieces are falling I can't seem to make them stay
You run away
Faster and faster you can't seem to get away
Break
Hope there's a reason
For questions unanswered I just don't see everything
Yes I'm inside you "
The fire splits in the middle as Mark Evil walks out onto the stage, looking off into the crowd. He continues down onto the ramp as the fire builds back up. As he walks down the ramp, the fire behind him slowly dies down.
Tell me how does it feel to feel like this
Just like I do
I don't care about anyone else but me
I don't care about anyone
Do I really want this
Sometimes I scare myself I just can't let it go
Can you believe it
Mark Evil stops just before the ring and slowly walks over to the stairs. He slowly walks up them and steps over the top rope to get into the ring. He then raises he arms, and as soon as they drop, the stage and ring posts erupt in bright red pyros, shooting off in all directions. Mark then stops and looks around in the crowd with an evil smirk on his face. He then stands and waits for the match to begin.
Everything happens for reasons I just don't know
I don't care about anyone else but me
I don't care about anyone
I don't care about anyone else but me
I don't care about anyone or anything but me
Damn I love me
Eric Hardy: It's everyone's favourite evil psycho Mark Evil
Willy Carter: I'll tell him you said that....
the lights go out and about a minute into the theme song the lights go back on and Dark Tiger is already in the ring.
Eric Hardy: This should be interesting, two big evil guys face to face
Willy Carter: Someone is gonna get sent straight to the burning depths of hell, I love it!
Mark evil and Dark Tiger stand face to face, Tiger's hair covers most of his facial features and Evil's mask covers his, suddenly evil's hand shoots up around Tigers throut, tiger pushes evils hand away and hits a hard right hand. Evil staggers back as tiger hits another and another, Tiger measures Evil upo and goes for a big boot, Evil catches tigers leg and spins him around, as tiger comes back to face evil he turns right into a clothesline.
Eric hardy: Mark evil taking Dark Tiger down there
Willy Carter: Tiger started the offense off with some hard right hands
Evil pulls tiger up and shoves him into the corner, evilo does for a right hand but tiger blocks it and hits one of his own, it's a slugfest as both men throw hands, evil ducks in to one of them and hooks tiger in a waistlock, he pops his hips and belly to belly's tiger into the center of the ring, tiger holds his back and lays straight as evil gets to his feet, he stalks tiger as tiger gets to his feet, evil runs at tiger from the corner with a head of steam but he runs right into a savate kick!
Eric Hardy: GOD WHAT IMPACT!
Willy carter: early in the match and the physicallity is off the charts
Tiger drops an elbow to evil's sternum, he does it again and again before rolling out of the ring, Tiger looks under the ring and pulls pout a table, he sets it up outside and turns back into the ring, mark evil however isn't there, he's rolled from the ring and grabbed a steel chair, tiger turns again just intime to see the steel chair crash against his skull, tiger drops to his knees and evil again hits him with the chair, tiger tries to shake it off but gets another for his trouble, the third shot finally putting tiger on his back
Eric Hardy: It took three devestating chair shoots from Mark Evil to put Dark Tiger down
Willy Carter: That's scary
Eric Hardy: Indeed it is....
Evil looks at the table and moves it into a position more to his liking, as he does this tiger sits up, he gets to his feet and stands right behind mark evil, evil turns around right into a big boot. Tiger starts on the assult stomping evil down, he looks over at the steel ring steps and has a sick look on his face, he walks over and grabs the top half ripping it off, he walks back and raises the steps over his head, evil moves out of the way and hits a drop toe hold, this causes tiger to trip and land hard with his head slamming against the steps. Evil turns and grabs the steel chair, he measures up and slams the chair into tigers head as it's wedged against the steps. Evil throws the chair down and turns his attention back to the table
Eric Hardy: Is tiger conscious?
Willy Carter: Is tiger breathing?....
Evil takes the lighter fluid from the referee's pocket and sprays the table, he lights a match and looks at the crowd, but before he can light the table he's met with a stiff kick of darkness(yakuza kick) to the head, evil goes down hard, tiger shakes off the effects of the chair shot and pulls evil back to his feet, he picks him up in a powerbomb and drops evil straight down onto the second half of the steel steps, the crowd oo's as evil's body bounces off the steel
Eric Hardy: MARK EVIL MAY HAVE BEEN BROKEN IN HALF
Willy Carter: I know this action is exciting Eric but could you..you know..SIT DOWN!
Tiger lights a match of his own and heads back towards the table, he throws it onto the wood as the table ignites, Tiger looks back at Evil and walks towards him
Eric Hardy: Evil's time may be running out!
Willy Carter: Mark Evil may be about to burn!
Tiger pulls evil to his feet, He pulls evil's head back by his hair and mutters something to him, evil says something back and grabs tiger by the thout, he spins him around and hits the lethal injection(omega driver)througth the table! Evil wins!
Eric Hardy: Evil's done it Willy, he's gotten revenge for Tiger pinning him not too long ago in that three way match.
Willy Carter: Evil has been on a path of destruction since he returned Hardy, he looks ready to take that next step, and when he gets there, there is no telling what kind of carnage he'll cause
Eric Hardy: No doubt Willy.
{{COMMERCIAL BREAK}}
{We come back from commercial break as the crowd settle down for the next match}
Eric Hardy: Well it's been a fantastic show so far Willy, and things can only get better from here on out.
Willy Carter: That's right Hardy, I just can't wait.
Eric Hardy: Absolutely I mean... Oh
Wait, yes
Ladies and gentlemen we are now switching over to a live feed from our parking lot.
{The scene switches over and we see that a black limo is entering the lot, the fans can be heard cheering at the prospect of what could happen now.}
Eric Hardy: Who could this be?
Willy Carter: I think we know Hardy.
{The limo pulls up near the camera and the driver gets out and opens the passenger door. None other than Jack Manson steps outside, dressed in casual blue jeans and an nCw shirt.}
Willy Carter: See! I knew it was Manson!
Eric Hardy: Manson promised he would be here tonight and there he is! The Maniac has finally returned to nCw.
{The fans cheers grow louder as Manson looks straight at the camera before walking off. The camera follows him. The scene switches back to Eric and Willy at the announcers desk. Fans behind them hold up their "I'm here to see The Maniac" and "Jack is back!" signs for the camera.}
Eric Hardy: I'm hearing that Manson is heading to the ring right now!
{The arena is a buzz with excitement as the crowd await Jack's return. The excitement in the arena slowly dies down as nothing seems to be happening.}
Willy Carter: Well is he coming out here or what?
{The camera switches to back stage, Manson is walking through the corridor's when he is suddenly stopped by an unseen person off screen.}
???:So you finally came back.
{The camera turns and we see Spike Kane, cockily leant against the wall with his arms folded across his chest, smiling arrogantly towards Jack. The crowd boo at the sight of Spike.}
Eric Hardy: Looks like Spike is going to give Manson his first welcome back to nCw before anyone else.
Jack Manson: Spike.
Spike Kane: It's been a long time Jack. Last time I saw your worthless ass round here you were lying on your back like a whore, being pinned by Lance Ryan. You cost me the title!
Eric Hardy: I can't believe Spike Kane has the audacity to blame his title loss on Manson.
Willy Carter: Manson hasn't been in the arena for more than five minutes and already he seems to have made an enemy!
{Manson coldly stares at Spike, the memory of that match still fresh in both men's minds.}
Jack Manson: Get out of my way Kane, tonight isn't about you.
Spike Kane: Oooh big bad Jack Manson, you think your return tonight is anything special? We have unfinished business Jack.
Jack Manson: I know. And believe me, I'll be the one that finishes it. But not tonight. Now, get out of my way.
{With that Manson walks past Spike, barging him in his shoulder as he walks past. Spike simply turns and looks on, the same arrogant smile spread across his lips.}
Willy Carter: Could that be another match at our next pay per view? Manson Vs Kane?
Eric Hardy: I wouldn't look too much into that little confrontation Carter, but I guess we could all dream of a Manson/Kane re-match.
Willy Carter: Well I guess Jack Manson will have to wait to say his peice as we're going to our next match!
Eric Hardy: "Well - here's our next match this evening and this one should be damn good."
Willy Carter: "We've got the newest member of the nCw roster - AJ Phoenix - going head to head with Jack Hammond. There is a lot of hype behind Phoenix's arrival and no one can deny that Jack Hammond has come away with some amazing victories."
Eric Hardy: "If I were a betting man, I'd avoid this match altogether. Both AJ Phoenix and-"
The commentator is interrupted as the opening riff of "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria explodes through the speakers. All eyes are directed upon the backstage curtain; and people are shown confused as to why this entrance music is playing, considering it does not belong to either of the competitors in the next match.
Eric Hardy: "What's going on?"
The curtain parts and out steps Justin Marsham - a methodical stride taking him towards the squared circle. He holds a folded up steel chair in his right hand. He is not dressed in wrestling attire, so it does not look as though he intends to wrestle. Contrary to the chair in his clutches, he does not appear ready to fight either - wearing a dark blue silk shirt and a pair of black dress slacks.
Willy Carter: "Well, here's Justin Marsham. Not sure why he is out here. He doesn't have a match scheduled tonight."
Eric Hardy: "He has recently said some tough words regarding nCw management. I'm not sure if this is the best option for him to be out here and rustle some feathers."
Fans shows a mixed reaction to Marsham when he slides into the ring. He takes the microphone from the ring announcer, Ashe, and sets up his steel chair in the center of the ring. He does not speak immediately, but - instead - takes a seat. He leans back and begins;
Justin Marsham: "I guess I am on tonight's show."
Eric Hardy: "Oh, here we go."
Justin Marsham: "Why am I out here? I've already answered that, so I'm not going to waste my breath. I'm tired of all the bull crap in the back. Ignoring me may be a little more difficult when I'm sitting in the middle of the ring. So! Next match! Come on down. You can wrestle around me."
Willy Carter: "Marsham is out of his mind."
