{Collision explodes onto the screen with the fans erupting into a loud roar as the pyros blast into the air and light up the darkened arena. The sounds of the opening theme dies down as we head over to Kelly and the guys ready to call the upcoming action.}
Kelly Knite: Welco me NCW fans, tonight we’ll find out who will join Ricky Johnson and Evan Andrews in the next round of the Road to the Gold tournament!
Eric Hardy: however, before we get there we have a fantastic lineup of matches for you.
Willy Carter: and it all starts with this great concept DDK came up with... “The Second Chance Challenge”.
Kelly Knite: I love it, every week he’ll be giving somebody who didn’t make it into the next round a chance to defeat him.
Willy Carter: it’s a great oppertunity for a small amount of retribution from the loss.
Eric Hardy: Well lets not waste any more time and get right to it shall we?
Mike Machado vs. "Bad Luck" Chuck
Machado wins
Andrew Cage vs. Mike Honcho
Mike Honcho wins
Daniel S. Hunter vs. Chuck Moss
Daniel S. Hunter wins.
Falcon and Joe Everyman vs. Gabriel Karras and Jason Blair
Falcon and Joe Everyman win. Everyman pins Karras.
{Hugo Conway comes rushing to the ring slapping the hands of the fans as he does. He slides under the bottom rope and prepares for the match to begin.}
{"Duality" by Slipknot hits the speakers as DDK emerges from the curtain with the NCW World title around his waist. GQ and Obsidian cautiously walk out behind him. He pounds his chest with his fists then raises his arms in the air making a diamond shape with his hands. He then runs down to the ring and slides in. He stands in the middle and points to the crowd, spinning around to point at all of them, before raising his arms again making a diamond shape. He climbs a turnbuckle and pounds his chest again, followed by shinning up his belt. He then gets down and awaits the match to start.}
Kelly Knite: Well here we go boys.
Eric hardy: This is a huge chance for this young guy Hugo Conway.
Willy Carter: It certainly is, if he can beat DDk here, it’ll go a long way in him proving what he’s got.
{Hugo kicks off the match rushing towards Kanyon, DDK catches him and spins him up in a tilt-o-whirl but Hugo comes out of it with a head scissors that flips DDK off his feet and onto his back. DDK gets right back up and as soon as she stands to his feet Hugo is there with a dropkick that connects and sends DDK immediately back down. DDK slaps the mat and rolls out of the ring holding his head as the fans at ringside cheer on the youngster.}
Willy Carter: Hugo Conway isn’t backing down from Curtis right now.
Eric Hardy: He’s not letting the World champion intiimidate him, good for him.
Kelly Knite: He’s got DDK regrouping right now, but he’s going to have to keep it up.
{DDK holds the back of his head as he circles the ring. Hugo runs, bounces off the ropes goes to the other ropes and leaps over them and throws himself over the top rope and dives right on top of DDK bringing him down. The fans erupt into even louder cheers. Hugo grabs DDK and pulls him up, he takes DDK by the head and throws him into the ring steps. Hugo climbs up onto the apron and stands there. He waits there for DDk to get back up. Kanyon stands up, he turns around and steps towards Hugo. Hugo runs and kicks as hard as he can catching DDK in the mouth and sending him flipping right to his back and the fans cheer again.}
Eric Hardy: And Hugo keeps rolling here, I don't think DDK was ready for this.
Kelly Knite: he clearly wasn't, and Conway came for a fight.
Willy Carter: The champ could be in trouble.
{Conway jumps down and grabs DDK by the head and shoves him under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Conway climbs back up and pulls back on the top rope, he propels himself in the ring just as Kanyon is trying to get back up, he goes for an attack but DDK catches him, then slams him hard into the mat with a huge leviathan spinebuster! DDK gets up and angrily pumps his first in the air. He runs tot he corner where he perches himself against the turnbuckles and throws his arm up somemore. Conway makes his way back to his feet and DDK comes charging for THE BANG but Conway jumps straight into the air and DDK runs right under him and crashes into the corner. Conway grabs DDK and rolls him up with a school boy out of the corner 1.....2... but DDK shoves his arm into the air.}
Kelly Knite: Almost stole one from the Champ there.
Eric Hardy: He did a great job of avoiding that Bang attempt...
Willy Carter: Good? He jumped clean over DDK!
{Conway grabs DDK by the head and lifts him back to his feet. He Irish whips the champion across the ring, then chases him and hits a big splash into the corner. He grabs DDK by the arm and whips him again, then charges and leaps again and hits the splash again. DDK stumbles out of the corner and Conway hits him with a spinning neck breaker. Conway climbs up to the top turnbuckle and waits for Kanyon to get back up as he has him down in the ring. Kanyon gets to his feet, and Conway leaps off and BANG! DDK hits the move! He covers Conway 1....2...3!}
Eric Hardy: Conway came out fighting..
Kelly knite: But it just wasn't enough against the champion...
{DDK rolls out of the ring and grabs a mic as well as his belt. He looks at Kelly and smirks. Then he walks away.}
DDK: I know you saw your life flash before your eyes Kelly, but don't worry. Not yet. you'll feel my wrath on ten ten ten! There I said it. But until then, lets go to the wheel!
{DDK's lackeys GQ and Obsidian have pulled the wheel down to ringside. DDK walks over to it. The wheel still divided by 8 slices has only four numbers this time, two ones, two twos, two threes, and two fours due to it being the quarterfinals this week.}
DDK: Which lucky loser will I face this week!?
{DDK spins the wheel. It goes round and round and round. It slowls, tick...tick...tick.....tick......tick.......tock. It lands on number two}
DDK: It looks like next week I'll get to face ALEX JONES. Can't wait to see you across from me in the ring next week pal. It should be interesting.
{"Duality" by Slipknot hits the speakers and DDK and his cronies walk up the ramp, Obsidian struggling to push the wheel of destiny up by himself.}
A quick burst of static and then Honcho's face fills the screen with the green tent of a night vision filter. Looking down into the camera, we see that Honcho has black face paint on and seems to decked out in an all black jumpsuit.
Magic Man: Ok, we are in LA and I'm hunting. What's the game? Maniac... I'm going to capture this mad man and take off his mask. To prove to the world that it's not daddy. That this impostor is riding the coat tails of my dad's fame. That he is just a punk.
He looks up quickly
There he his!
We see Maniac step into a Rocket Pizza. His mask is on but it doesn't bother anybody and they treat him like everybody else. When Maniac is out of sight, Honcho points the camera back to his face.
Honcho: We're gonna wait for that rat bath-turd to come out and get him with his guard down.
Another quick burst of static and we see Maniac start to walk out of the pizza establishment. He turns left and almost runs over the camera man.
Maniac: Billy? What are you doing... Crap...
From above and to the right, we hear yelling.
Honcho: YOU'RE RUINING THE FAMILY NAME AND YOU HURT ROB!!! NOW I'M GONNA HURT YOU! AHHH!!!!
With a leap that seems to be in slow motion, Mike Honcho jumps off the top of the building Rocket Pizza was in, diving for Maniac. It seems like minutes go by as Honcho descends down to the behemoth of a man.
The camera quickly cuts back and forward to Mike falling and Maniac seemingly standing there blankly. As Honcho gets closer and closer, Maniac does not even flinch. The look of determination on Honcho's face is quickly replaced with surprise and fear. With a sicking thud, the Magic Mans lands at the feet of Maniac, about two feet short of his intended target.
Maniac doesn't even laugh or offer a shoulder shrug. He just walks off into the star filled night.
Brief static fills the screen once more and we cut back to the cheap camera with a night vision filter on it. It is more of a dumpy part of LA. Streets are not nearly as prestine as they were out side of Rocket Pizza and the street lights were dim at best. We see in the shadows a giant man walking fearlessly down the street, walking towards the camera.
MH(whispering): There's that rat bath-turd now! He totally side stepped me and made me look like a fool. I won't let him fool me again. I'm not going to jump from as high up...
Finally getting to the building that the Magic Man was hiding on top of, he gets the keys out to unlock the door. He notices Billy, the camera man, as it cuts to a differant camera angle and is lacking the filter. This time, Honcho is quite when he jumps until he is almost on top of him. At the last moment, Mike yells out "Strut that ass". Maniac looks up and catches a face full of Honcho.
Both men are on the ground now, both had a lot taken out of them from the body splash from 15 feet up. Both men start to stir but Honcho is to his feet first. He looks down at Maniac, who is up to one knee. Jumping up into the air, the Stache lands a devastating right handed Jump Punch. Maniac hits the ground again.
Staggering over, he waves to the camera.
Magic Man: You want to see his face? Let's find out who this is!
Reaching down with both hands, he grabs the top of the Maniac mask and pulls. It takes some force, but Honcho gets the mask off. He staggers back because of force he needed to pull off the mask. He looks down and sees that... Maniac is wearing another mask underneath.
In shock, Honch just stands there. Taking advantage of the situation, Maniac quickly rises to his feet and then throws a fireball that seems to appear from his hands. Falling backwards and screaming in pain, Honcho is out of commission for just long enough fro the Maniac to run away in the shadows.
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
Eric Hardy: Second match of the evening should be very interesting.
Willy Carter: The X Champion, Joe Ragnal is the centerpiece of this 3-way dance, his opponents are Tempestad and newcomer Ander Carvetti.
Kelly Knite: Ander part of The Rat Pack, which looks to be a talented trio of newcomers.
{As "Violence Fetish" plays, Joe Ragnal waits for the song to pick up before walking out to the crowd's cheers. He hops on the entrance ramp, pumping the crowd up heavily for his match. Joe then walks down and slaps hands with the crowd before he slides into the ring. Joe then does a kip and stands on his feet, then runs to the nearest corner, raises his fist high, and then flips off it onto his feet.}
Eric Hardy: There he is, X Champion Joe Ragnal.
Willy Carter: Ragnal is the first ever X Champion after winning another 3-way match two weeks ago at Battlegrounds.
{White lights flash in time with the drums of "Avalancha" as Tempestad walks onstage. He looks to the crowd on both sides before patiently walking down to the ring, crossing himself as he walks. He slides beneath the ropes and stands back up, shrugging off his coat. Tempestad then waits for the bell patiently, bouncing on the soles of his feet.}
Kelly Knite: Tempestad is looking to prove he's worthy of an X Championship shot. A win here would definitely put him in the running.
{"Ironside" hits over the sound systems over the arena as spotlights go all over the place. At the end of the brief into, "No Shelter" by Rage Against the Machine begins to blast over the sound systems of the arena. The spotlight begins to shine on the center of the stage and out from behind the curtain, a man walks out wearing a hooded, unfastended robe. He pops his neck and begins punching his taped fists together. He pulls the hood down from his head revealing former kickboxing sensation Ander Carvetti. He has a calm and relaxed expression on his face as he walks toward the ring, ready for war. He gets to the bottom of the ramp and bounces up and down on his feet. He looks around and surveys the arena and has a calm smile on his face. Walking over to the ring stairs, he pops his knuckles, and then walks up the stairs. He slingshots himself over the top rope and begins bouncing on his feet, throwing a few punches and kicks to warm himself up before the match begins....}
Eric Hardy: Ander Carvetti in just his second match in New Championship Wrestling.
Kelly Knite: He's not exactly new to the sport, though.
Willy Carter: Whispers in the back are of him being very successful in multiple other federations, but does he have what it takes to compete in the nCw?
Eric Hardy: All three men are ready in the ring, let's get this match started.
{The bell rings, and all three men look at each other cautiously. All three start to move out of the corner and toward the center of the ring, all three keep their head on a swivel. They meet in the middle, and suddenly both Tempestad and Joe Ragnal turn to Carvetti. Both men through a boot and both men connect with Ander's midsection. Ander doubles over, and Rags and Temp throw a double-vertical-suplex on the newcomer.}
Eric Hardy: Perhaps a little hazing.
Willy Carter: Ander had harsh words for both men this week.
Kelly Knite: Might not have been a good strategy to make himself a target in a 3-way match.
{Carvetti's back is planted into the mat, he rolls up to a seated position before falling back down. Ragnal takes off, bounces off the ropes and delivers a quick, strong leg drop to Ander. Tempestad bounces off the other rope, and drops an elbow across Ander's throat. Tempestad then goes for the quick cover..}
{1..broken up}
{Ragnal pushes Tempestad to the side and goes for a cover, himself..}
{1.... broken up}
{Tempestad drops an elbow onto Ragnal, breaking up the count. Ragnal pops up, and shoves Tempestad, Tempestad shoves back. Ragnal swings a left hand, Tempestad dodges, and elevates to deliver a dropkick that connects with Ragnal's midsection. Ragnal goes down, but before Tempestad can apply any offense, Ander Carvetti comes flying back into the picture with a spinning heel kick that hits Tempestad solid in the back of the head. Temp goes down, and suddenly Ander is in control.}
Eric Hardy: Ander with that martial-arts muay-thai style offense, looking to get it going here.
{Tempestad goes down hard, Ander is back to his feet, and feels a clothesline coming from Ragnal. He ducks it, and Ragnal bounces off the ropes, and Carvetti leaps into the air, meeting Ragnal's face with a leaping roundhouse that nearly takes Joe's head off. Ragnal rolls out of the ring to the outside. Ander turns to focus his attention on Tempestad, who has just managed to make it to his feet. Carvetti pounces quickly, locking Temp into a Muay-Thai clinch and sending a flurry of knee strikes to the face of Tempestad. One connects cleanly to the jaw of Temp and he crumples to the ground.}
Willy Carter: Ander really asserting himself in this match.
Eric Hardy: Very impressive performance thus far!
Kelly Knite: Can he put one of these men away?
{Carvetti goes for the cover..}
{1......2......kickout!}
{Temp manages to get a shoulder up. The cover draws Ragnal back into the ring, and he jumps on Carvetti before he's able to get to his feet. Ragnal delivers boots to the back of Carvetti. Ander starts to make it to his feet slowly, and Ragnal seizes the opportunity, delivering a solid kneeling fireman's carry. Ander isn't down for long, he stands up, and gets hooked and caught with a Mountain Dew Crusher! (suplex into powerbomb) Ragnal goes for the cover..}
{1......2.....broken up!}
Eric Hardy: Tempestad keeps the match alive, breaking the count.
Kelly Knite: Otherwise the match may have been over, there!
{Carvetti rolls out of the ring, and Tempestad is up before Ragnal. Tempestad grabs Joe by the arm and nails a short-arm lariat. Both men are up again quickly, and Tempestad throws a boot at Ragnal. Ragnal catches it, but Tempestad counters with an enziguri to the back of Ragnal's head. Ragnal hits the mat hard this time, and Tempestad is quick to the turnbuckle, crouching and waiting for Ragnal to get up. Ragnal is taking his time, Carvetti slides into the ring right next to Ragnal, and both men make it to their feet just as Tempestad leaps off the top rope. Tempestad hits them both with a missile dropkick, one foot hitting each man. Carvetti is knocked back out of the ring, and Ragnal hits his back hard. Tempestad rolls around for a second, before rolling into a cover..}
{1.....2.......kickout!}
Eric Hardy: What athleticism from Tempestad! I thought he had it there!
Willy Carter: He's looking to end it right now!
{Tempestad is quick to go to the top again. Perching for just a moment before leaping off with a Ángel de Guarda (shooting star press). He lands it square on Joe Ragnal and goes for the cover!}
{1......2.......broken up!}
{Carvetti yanks Tempestad's foot, puling him to the outside. And, Boom, Headshot! Carvetti with a vicious muay-thai kick to the back of Temp's head. Tempestad goes limp on the outside. Carvetti rolls in and covers Ragnal...}
{1.......2......3!!}
Eric Hardy: Ander Carvetti pulls off the win!
Kelly Knite: Picking up the pinfall on the current X Champion.
Willy Carter: And silencing any critics who said he didn't have what it takes to compete in the nCw.
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
The lights that had just a moment ago glowed so warmly completely gave way to darkness.
You can run on for a long time...run on for a long time...run on for a long time...sooner or later, God'll cut you down...
Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena, and with that, Johnny Holliday, dressed in his black jogging pants with the white stripe down each pant leg and black boots, walks slowly out onto the rampway. Golden pyros explode on the stage and rain down in a shower of sparks. Through that, Mr. Showtime walks through the pyros to a plethora of cheers from the crowd. Standing on the threshold of the stage, he overlooks the crowd from behind his mirrored sunglasses. The light of the pyros glint off the gold trim around them as he raises his arms into the air and leans backwards - basking in the crowd's attention.
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down...
Showtime begins walking down the rampway as silver-lit pyros shoot up from the sides of it. The cameras flash all around the arena and illuminate a silhouette of him being shrouded in the spotlight that is now following him to the ring. He walks up the ring steps, walks across the apron, looks around, spins around on the apron to give himself a three-hundred and sixty degree look at all the fans, those cheers exploding throughout the arena, enters the ring, and spins around on one foot, raising his arms again, once again to cheers. Hopping on a turnbuckle, he lets the fans snap a few more pictures, explode once more in cheers and looks around the audience, raises his arms and once again basks in the attention. He then hops down and rests against a corner.
Amber Ashe: The following match is a second round match-up in the Road to the Gold! Coming out first weighing in at 235lbs, hailing from Catalina Island, CA... “Mr. Showtime” JOHNNY HOLLIDAY!
{ "Purity" by Slipknot breaks the silence of the crowd and plunges them into total darkness. They go straight to booing as a single strobe light lights up the stage where Maniac now stands. He looks from side to side before taking that first step forward which is followed by arches of flames and pyro erupting out of either side of the ramp as he walks down the center, flames all around him. He reaches the ring and the flames stop as he grabs the ropes and pulls himself up onto the apron then steps over the top rope. He stands in the center of the ring and looks around the arena, taking in the scene as the fans just continue booing him. }
You all stare, but you'll never see
There is something inside me
You all stare, but you'll never see
There is something inside me
You all stare, but you'll never see
There is something inside me
You all stare, but you'll never see
There is something in you I DESPISE!
{ The music fades, the house lights return and Maniac slowly takes his corner and waits. }
Amber Ashe: And coming out, his opponent.. weighing in at 270lbs, hailing from Parts Unknown... MANIAC!
Maniac and JH are standing in their respective corners. and then look back up toward each other. Both men now walk to the center of the ring and quickly go for a collar and elbow tie up. JH quickly slides under the grapple and gets behind Maniac and chop blocks Maniac's knee. Maniac drops to a knee and is flattened to the mat with an Savate Kick! JH drops for a quick cover. The ref gets to two and Maniac kicks out. The crowd cheers and JH stands up lifting Maniac with him. A kick is sent to Maniac's rib cage, then the opposite side thigh, then a spinning heel kick to his gut. Maniac stumbles back into the corner and JH charges driving a clothesline across his neck. Maniac slumps to a seated position in the corner and JH begins to stomp away. The ref calls for a break and JH walks away cleanly.
Kelly Knite: Johnny Holliday is showing No Mercy to Maniac tonight.
Willy Carter: He wants it.
The ref looks at Maniac yelling something to him. Maniac shakes his head, responds, then pulls himself up. He walks, confidently, toward JH who just charges and drops Maniac to the mat with a clothesline. JH rebounds off of the second rope and connects with a moonsault across Maniac's sternum. JH goes for another cover but the ref only gets to one before the kick out. JH stands himself and Maniac up again and throws a right hand that Maniac blocks. Maniac returns a right hand that connects flush with JH's jaw. JH is staggered back in surprise. Maniac rushes forward but is countered and sent back to the mat with a drop toe hold from Showtime. JH quickly flips Maniac to his back and applies a leg lock to the leg he chop blocked in the beginning of the match. Maniac yelps in pain but quickly grabs the ropes.
Eric Hardy: Holliday is doing what he needs to do, keeping this psycho on his toes, using his speed to his advantage
The ref tells JH to let go which he does cleanly again. Maniac pulls himself up by the ropes and JH runs at him again. Maniac BLASTS JH with a Lariat and he is done playing around . He lifts Holliday off the ground and whips him off the ropes, JH goes for a crossbodyblock, but Maniac just catches him, tosses him and drops him with a Choke toss. Maniac then just steps on the neck of the falling Holliday. The ref quickly comes in and gives him the 5 count, he breaks at 4.
Kelly Knite: Maniac doesnt want it to end that way. He has fought long and hard to get here
Willy Carter: Of course he doesn't want it to end that way... can't move forward if you get DQ'd
Kelly Knite: Shut up, Carter
Holloday gets up slowly he swings a right fist but Maniac gets behind him and connects with a deadlift german suplex. Maniac is now just toying with Showtime. He covers
One
Two
The ref gets to two and JH gets his shoulder off of the mat and rolls to his stomach. Both men then stand up and JH gets kicked in the gut again and Maniac looks for a suplex, but Holliday hooks the leg. He tries again, but JH holds his ground, Holliday, breaks Maniac's grip and Showtime catches him with a superkick to the knee! Maniac buckles. Holliday catches him with a step-up enziguri, which rocks the big masked man. Holliday sees that Maniac is still standing, he goes for another step up, but Maniac blocks, he goes for a short arm lariat, but Holliday ducks and takes him down with a chop block. Holliday comes up and takes Maniac down with a Float Over DDT
Eric Hardy: “Mr. Showtime” is working a good gameplan, trying to chop the big man down to size
Maniac shakes the worked over leg as if to loosen it up and then gets to his feet. He turns and is quickly dropped by a Missile Dropkick. JH crawls over for another cover and again Maniac kicks out at two. JH stands up but is quickly tripped to the mat by Maniac. Maniac quickly floats over and applies an armbar and wrenches it very hard. JH yells in pain and Maniac wrenches again. JH starts flopping around in pain and his feet hit the ropes. The ref calls for a break and gets to a two count before Maniac relinquishes the hold. Maniac, a new fire in his eyes, stands up and brings JH with him. Maniac drives JH into the corner with a hard irish whip. Maniac then runs forward smashing into JH with a clothesline, then seamlessly climbs out of the ring grabs JH's arm and drop to the mat extending the arm over the top rope. JH screams in pain and falls to the mat. Maniac slides back into the ring and stands JH up. He grabs the arm again but JH quickly tries to counter, but Maniac knees him in the gut and irish whips him HARD into the other corner and Holliday crashes and falls face first to the mat.
Kelly Knite: Maniac has the crazy look in his eyes
Eric Hardy: This is looking bad for Johnny Holliday
The ref looks down at Holliday and starts to count... The ref barely gets starts as JH has rolled to the ropes and almost has himself pulled up. Maniac does a cut-throat motion signaling for the end. He snatches JH up and goes for the Sudden Impact... Holliday starts to elbow Maniac, Maniac starts to drop Holliday. Once Holliday makes it to his feet, he nails a left jab, a right heymaker, he spins for the Somersault kick
Kelly Knite: He's looking for the Oscar, Grammy, Triple Whammy!
Holliday Connects, Maniac is stunned.. CAST CUTTER.. NO! Manaic catches Holliday in mid air and tosses him up on his shoulders
Eric Hardy: Holy effing Crap! Just sheer power!
Maniac lets out a primal scream and drops Holliday with the Sudden Impact! Cover...
1...2.. 3!
Bell rings
Chad Lights: Hello everybody, Chad Lights as always, bringing you the latest up to date news that I can. It was revealed this morning that Steve Awesome himself would be making an update to his potential injuries he suffered last Sunday night. Without further adieu….here is the Face of the Franchise himself….”
Chad moves his microphone to the left and the camera pans over with him to a close up shot of Steve Awesome. Sunglasses on, his head pointed down. He got a mixed reaction…..he is such a butt hole….but you have to admit he’s got swag. The camera pans back a bit more and you can also see that his shoulder is in a sling.
Steve Awesome: “Well here it is folks….the moment you’ve all been waiting for…..after a brutal attack from Xavier Cross….I-”
Chad Lights: “Wait, hold on. Brutal attack? You started that fight!”
Steve glares at Chad.
Steve Awesome: Look Chad…I don’t have time for your little details okay. The fact is, Xavier Cross wanted THIS….”
Steve points and angered finger at his shoulder in the sling.
Steve Awesome: ….to happen. Since Ascension he’s been trying to ruin me. He’s cost me matches, two very important matches, and now just last week He took me to the back with the soul purpose to take me out for good. You should have seen the crazed look in his eye. It was awful. Like watching a herd of fat girls eyeing the last cupcake.”
Both men shudder.
Steve Awesome: I’m sure my good friend Xavier is sitting somewhere, enjoying this moment. Laughing to himself, giving himself a pat on the back for a job well done. Well guess what….”
Awesome reaches up and starts pulling the sling off of him. He rips it off his shoulder and throws it to the ground before moving and rotating what seems like a healthy shoulder.
Steve Awesome:….you STILL suck X! There’s your update! And-”
Suddenly a blur of brown and black comes from out of nowhere with sick big boot to the side of Steve Awesome’s head! Chad Light’s looks up in utter horror at what he sees.
Chad Lights: Homeless Harol-ugh!”
The masked nightmare nails Chad in the face and he falls to the ground like a sack of bricks. It was indeed Homeless Harold! And he turns around and goes back to work on the man that unmasked him last year. Awesome tries to fight back but Harold was just to much for him right now and Harold gets Steve dazed in the corner of the room. Shoulder facing out. Harold finds a chair and nails Steve in his shoulder with a few brutal shots. Harold tosses the chair to the side and finds a crate.
It was one of those huge loading crates and he aims it right at Steve who is still in pain from the chair shots. Harold gets ready to run right through Steve but all of a sudden……
-THWACK-
It was Xavier Cross with a chair right to the skull of Homeless Harold. Harold falls over onto the crate and Xavier pushes the crate down the hallway with Harold on it. Cross walks over to Steve and extends his hand. Steve looks up at Cross, still clutching his shoulder, and he just swats Cross’s hand away. Steve pulls himself up under his own power and glares at Xavier. X just shrugs at shakes his head.
Xavier Cross: I was just trying to help you man. Just because I don’t agree with what your doing, doesn’t mean I want to see you get murdered by a giant monster. You’re still a good friend.
Awesome looks livid. Maybe it was the pain his shoulder was in or that Cross still considered him a friend.
Steve Awesome: Let me make one thing clear to you…..I don’t need nor want your help. This doesn’t change things between us X, you may have saved me tonight, but as far as I’m concerned we’re still what you made us at Ascension.
Awesome sneers in Xavier’s face.
Steve Awesome: Enemies.
Xavier shakes his head as Steve storms off.
Xavier Cross: …..a thank you would have been nice….
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
{As the fans wait in anticipation, "Pts. of Athrty." hits over the PA and the crowd rise to their feet, awaiting the arrival of Doc. The lights then turn to darkness, and soon two bright blue strobe lighting bolts shine on the top of the ramp. They cross over in a huge "X" shape, like the St. Andrews flag of Scotland, and as Doc walks out and stands under the "X", the lights turn back on. A spotlight shines on the nCw superstar as he jogs on the spot, as the lyrics of "Pts. of Athrty." begin to hit.}
Amber Ashe: “Introducing first…..From Glasgow, Scotland…..Weighing in at two hundred and sixteen pounds……..Doc!”
{Doc then begins to walk down the ramp, slowly looking out at the fans, before posing, dropping to his knees and lifting his arms in the air. Pyros explode in the background on cue as he does so. Doc then continues down to the ring. As he reaches it he climbs the steps and walks along the apron. Doc grabs the top rope, and drops his feet off the apron, but holds on to the rope and skins the cat over the top rope and into the ring. Doc spins round before climbing each turnbuckle to taunt to the crowd, and after he has done so he leans to one side in a taunt, flexing his muscles. He then stands in the middle of the ring, where he does some last minute stretches and makes sure his wrists are taped up properly as he awaits his partners.}
Willy Carter: “Doc is coming off huge losses to Blood Ties for the Tag Team Titles, and Andrew Jacobsen in the Road to the Gold tournament. A loss here could be potentially devastating.”
{The lights dim as "Swagger Like Us" begins to play. The NCW Tron lights up with the name 'Venom' and black spiders begin to fill the screen until the banner is completely covered in black, then one spider leaps towards the screen and leaves bite holes in the screen. As the Chorus hits Green laser lights flicker on the stage as the hooded Venom walks out onto the stage. He looks from left to right at the screaming fans ready for the next match and then ascends down the ramp.}
Amber Ashe: “From Atlanta, Georgia……Weighing in at two hundred and nineteen pounds……..Venom!”
{He stops halfway down and drops to one knee and spreads his arms as pyros blast up on the stage behind him. As the last pyro blasts he runs and slides into the ring and stands up in the center and rips off the hood and spins around in the center of the ring as the music dies down. }
Eric Hardy: “Venom and Doc haven’t yet proven themselves as a game-changing tag team yet. Hopefully for them they’ll be able to do that with Zeldaberg on their side.”
{Pillar hits now and the strobe lights around the ramp begin flicking on and off as Zelda slowly steps out with her arms stretched out.}
Amber Ashe: “And their partner……From Dallas, Texas……..She is the nCw World Women’s Champion…..Zelda Knite!”
{The music picks up and Zelda sprints to the ring. She hops onto the nearest turnbuckle and plays to the crowd for a bit. When the music dies down, she jumps down and waits for the match to begin.}
Eric Hardy: “There they are ladies and gentlemen. The Young Guns.”
Kelly Knite: “It hurts me to see Zelda teaming with those guys, but you have to let the kid make mistakes.”
Willy Carter: “Evil Zelda is way hotter than regular Zelda.”
Eric Hardy: “The Young Guns are looking to make a huge statement tonight that they won’t just be swept under the rug. They’re hungry and focused.”
{The lights in the arena go out as the only glimmer of light is from the nCw-tron flashing the name of Adam Knite as "Monster" by Skillet begins to play. Adam steps out and the strobe lights begin flashing on and off as the fans begin to cheer wildly.}
Amber Ashe: “And the opponents…..From Dallas, Texas……Weighing in at two hundred and sixty-five pounds…….Here is Adam Knite!”
{Adam makes his way to the ring as the lights come back on playing to the fans the entire way, he slides under the bottom rope and after playing to the crowd some more waits for the start of the match.}
Kelly Knite: “Yay! Adam! The love of my life is rolling right now with a few pretty big wins in a row. It’s only a matter of time before he’s a champion yet again.”
{The lights in the arena go out as the beginning riffs of “Done With Everything, Die For Nothing” start, and red, white, and blue lights flash quickly in succession. A spotlight travels throughout the darkness and highlights the crowd before turning off. An explosion is seen and smoke fills the entranceway and the singing starts. The spotlight comes back on Will Washington as he makes his way through the smoke wearing an Army Strong T-Shirt, and dog tags while carrying a tattered American flag. He stops and looks around while he is introduced.}
Amber Ashe: “Making his way to the ring.....From Cambridge, Massachusetts…..Weighing in at two hundred and thirty-two pounds......The Patriotic Punisher‘……Will Washington!”
{Will raises his American flag, before draping it over his shoulders and walking down the ramp. He ascends the ringside steps and lays the flag across the top turnbuckle, before entering between the ropes. He goes to the corner and stands on the second turnbuckle. He takes off his shirt and throws it into the crowd, before picking up the flag and raising it once again. He jumps down and walks over, handing his dog tags and flag to the official before going to another corner and throwing punches, waiting for the match to begin.}
Willy Carter: “Washington was a big part in taking down the Front Office for good, and after a week off, you know he’s itching to get back in the ring.”
{A piercing howl erupts from the speakers as "This Calling" by All That Remains kicks into gear. The fans respond with cheers as Emma Danielson walks out on stage, a deadly glare on her face.}
Amber Ashe: “Finally……From Brooklyn Park, Minnesota…….Emma Danielson!”
{She looks around at the crowd, smirking briefly, before breaking into a run down the ramp. Emma jumps up onto the apron, using the ring ropes to vault into the ring proper. She brushes off the referee, moving to her corner and lying in wait for the opening bell.}
Kelly Knite: “The Young Gun team has a big test in front of them. Knitington is quickly becoming the most popular thing in the world, and Emma Danielson is inconsistently dominating.”
Eric Hardy: “For every win Emma has a loss, but after becoming number one contender and teaming with Zelda in a winning effort last week, I think she’s poised to make a big leap.”
Willy Carter: “She did give Zelda her toughest test to date back at Picture Perfect. She’s got a chance to cement herself at the top of the women’s division.”
Kelly Knite: “This match can tell a lot about the direction of the six people involved. I can’t wait to see how it turns out.”
{The esteemed referee Johnny Lei makes sure each team is prepared and he calls for the opening bell. It looks like Doc and Adam Knite will be starting it off for their respective teams. The two lock up in a collar and elbow tie-up, with Adam quickly overpowering the opponent and pushing him down to the mat. Doc charges back quickly and is pushed down by Adam again. He scrambles back to the corner and tags in Zelda who eagerly enters the ring. Danielson storms into the ring and tackles Zelda with the Lou Thesz Press. Danielson rains in with the closed fist punches, rocking the ‘Pixilated Princess’. Zelda covers up and pushes Emma away with her legs. Emma grabs them for control, but Zelda flips her around and rolls on her stomach. They’re both up to their feet and after an exchange of punches, Emma gets Zelda trapped at the ropes and shoots her off. As Zelda rebounds, Emma goes for the big Clothesline, but Zelda is able to duck it and hit a Running Dropkick as she comes off the opposing ropes. Zelda springboards off the ropes quickly with a Lionsault and lands on her feet as Emma rolls out of the way to avoid it. Zelda immediately grabs Emma as she’s trying to get to her feet, and looks for the Snap Suplex. Danielson blocks it and connects with a knee to the chest before powering Zelda over with a Gutwrench Suplex. Emma prepares to capitalize, but she Zelda, who was playing possum, rolls her up into a Small Package. 1.….2.. Emma breaks free.}
Eric Hardy: “Zelda nearly got the win with the Small Package.”
Kelly Knite: “Teaming with Doc and Venom, a small package is a given. If you know what I’m sayin’…..”
Willy Carter: “A-HAH! A dick joke. Nice one Kelly.”
Eric Hardy: “You people….”
{Danielson gets up first and kicks Zelda in the abdomen before whipping her into the corner. She backs up and flies in with the Stinger Splash, but Zelda is just able to avoid it, and Danielson only connects with the corner. Emma turns around holding her chest and is drilling in the face by a Running Big Boot. Zelda rolls over and tags in Venom, who begins to stalk to carcass of the downed Danielson. Johnny Lei informs him that he can’t attack her, and he turns right around into a stiff right hand from Will Washington. He lights into Venom like a wildfire with a series of strikes that ends in a Roundhouse which drops Venom to a knee. Washington bounces off the ropes and collides with a Sudden Impact Clothesline to the kneeling Venom. He then guides Venom to his feet where he locks the arms and flips Venom into a Bridging Dragon Suplex. 1.…..2...Venom breaks out of the bridge. Washington rips Venom up and grabs him from behind, locking on an Octopus Stretch. He leans back adding extra force to the move, straining the muscles of Venom’s sternum. The Young Gun pulls himself towards the ropes awkwardly, trying to save himself from the hold. Zelda suddenly steps through the second rope, distracting the referee who has to force her out. While the official is distracted, Doc uses the ropes to jump up and kick Will in the back, breaking his grip and allowing Venom to Hip Toss out of the hold.}
Willy Carter: “Smart teamwork by the Young Guns team there.”
Kelly Knite: “Smart? That was complete cheating. It’s disgusting.”
Eric Hardy: “Come on Kelly. You know if Knitington had done that you’d be praising them for it.”
Kelly Knite: “Adam has way more integrity than that Hardly.”
{Washington is up holding his back, and Venom boots him in the gut before delivering a DDT. He watches as Will nearly gets up, before running in with the Tribute! He rolls Will over and goes for the pin. 1.….2.….Washington kicks out. Venom lifts Will to his feet and tags in Doc, who grabs the opponent from behind. Venom connects with a Dropsault before Doc drops him with the Bridging German Suplex for the pin. Johnny Lei can’t count the pin until Venom gets out of the ring, and Adam Knite runs in and breaks the bridge. Venom then dives at him with a forearm shot and they start to brawl. Zelda tries to pull them apart, but Emma Danielson enters and hits her with Broken Dreams!}
Kelly Knite: “All hell is breaking loose here on Collision!”
Eric Hardy: “We’re going to have to take a commercial break while this all gets settled down!”
Willy Carter: “Not when it’s getting good! Come on!”
Eric Hardy: “We’ll be right back for more six person tag team action right after this!”
{Commerical break for Dr. Sam Hopkins free online medical advice. He’ll diagnose any injury! Soreness in the knee? It’s a knee stinger! Cramp in the hand? Finger cancer! Persistent nosebleeds? Sinus AIDs! For more see www.drsam.com!}
Willy Carter: “Welcome back!”
{We come back from commercial and Doc has Washington locked in the Doc Lock! Washington fights towards the ropes, but Doc pulls him back towards the center. Will nearly taps, but manages to push up and roll through the hold. He gets up standing on one foot, and Doc charges in. Washington rolls through and avoids it, making the hot tag to Adam Knite. Adam busts in and catches Doc’s foot as he goes for a kick and Dragon Screw Leg Whips him. Doc gets up off the whipped momentum and stumbles into Adam and a Spinning Spinebuster. He hits off the ropes quickly and drives down on the throat with a Running Leg Drop. The crowd is fired up with Adam Knite now as he waits for the opponent to get to his feet where he connects with a Perfect Plex! 1.…..2.….Venom breaks up the pin by executing a beautiful V-Nom Press to the bridging Adam! He exit’s the ring at the referee’s demand, and reaches his arm into the ring, desperately calling for the tag. Venom crawls to the corner and tags in Doc, who immediately ascends to the top rope. He flies off with Air Glasgow, looking the pierce Adam’s heart with his elbow. Adam barely rolls out of the way and Doc crashes and burns. Adam gets to his feet and forces Doc to the do the same. He whips him into the ropes, and as Doc comes back he’s drilled by Perfect Dark! Adam’s signature Superkick puts Doc on his back and he goes for the pinfall…….Johnny Lei doesn’t count….Zelda made the blind tag and enters the ring, where she taps Adam on the shoulder. He exits and Emma Danielson makes her way into the ring. Zelda dives at her with a Crossbody Block, but Danielson catches her. She powers Knite up above her head in a Military Press. She throws Zelda to the mat with great force, finishing the powerful maneuver.}
Willy Carter: “That’s one powerful woman!”
Kelly Knite: “There are few women in the world that can match power with Emma Danielson, and that comes from hours and hours of hard work.”
Eric Hardy: “And I can assure you she’s not a man.”
Willy Carter: “You hit that? Nice work Hardy!”
{Emma guides Zelda to her feet and positions the youngest Knite’s head between her legs. She lifts Zelda up in Crucifix position, preparing to launch the Detoxifier! As Emma is about to perform the move, Zelda propels herself forward and performs a Hurricanrana out of the move. Both women struggle to their feet, and when they do, they exchange punches again. Danielson gets the advantage and lifts Zelda onto her shoulders, but before she can do anything, Zelda Headscissors out and turns it into the Red Ring of Death! Knite’s Armbar move drops Danielson to a knee as she looks for the submission victory. Emma appears to fade, but catches her second win and raises up, delivering a Samoan Drop. Both women crawl towards their corners, looking for the hot tag. Venom gets it first and makes his way into the ring where he and Will Washington meet at the center of the ring and exchange chops to the chest. Venom gains the advantage with an eye rake that goes undetected by Lei, and he drops Will with the V-Nominal Variation 1! He signals that the end is near by throwing up the ‘X’ symbol, and he watches as Washington gets to his feet. He turns the opponent around and crosses his arms for Xed Out! Will drives the back of his head into Venom’s with a Headbutt, stunning Venom. He grabs Venom’s arm and spins out of the move, pulling Venom in for Eat Defeat.}
Eric Hardy: “Oh what a counter. Washington just got out of certain defeat. That X Plex puts them all out.”
Willy Carter: “Every wrestler should know a counter to every other wrestler’s finisher. That’s a necessity in the big leagues.”
Kelly Knite: “Now these two have to make a tag and get some fresh guys in there.”
Willy Carter: “True dat.”
{Washington is up first, and Venom follows right behind. Will tags in Adam Knite, who instantaneously positions Venom for Knites of the Round! Venom elbows his way out of it and falls backwards where Doc makes the tag. He jets in and ducks a Big Boot from Adam, and comes off the opposite ropes at great speed, hitting Adam with Hang Time. Doc kips up to a vertical base and begins preparing for wipeout by stomping his foot in the corner. Adam turns around and sees Doc’s Genicide Kick coming right for his face! He slips out of the way and catches Doc unexpectedly with Silent Knite! Adam capitalizes by turning Doc over and locking on A Restless Knite! Adam’s Single Leg Boston Crab tortures Doc, who tries his damndest to break the hold. Suddenly Venom and Zelda sneak into the ring and Zelda stops the submission hold. Emma Danielson is in and she tosses Zelda over the top rope, where Zelda lands on her feet. Danielson then runs, spearing her through the ropes and to the arena floor! Washington and Venom start to brawl and Venom pushes Will away and comes running to Clothesline him over the top. Will ducks and backdrops him onto the apron. He thinks he’s ridden the ring of Venom, unaware before turning around into a stiff punch. Venom tries to springboard into the ring, but Emma grabs his legs and he crashes onto the apron and falls to the floor. Doc slowly gets to his feet, and is hit by Perfect Dark and Cambridge Calling in the front and back of the head! Washington slides out of the ring and patrols the area while Adam crawls on top or Doc for the pin. 1.…..2.…..3!}
Amber Ashe: “Here are your winners…….Emma Danielson and Knitingtonnnnnnnnnnn!”
{Danielson and Washington roll back into the ring and celebrate as Johnny Lei raises their arms in victory.}
Kelly Knite: “Knitington did it! They’re still undefeated! I knew they’d beat the Young Guns!”
Eric Hardy: “They’re impressive yet again, not to mention Emma Danielson who keeps pulling off the big wins.”
Willy Carter: “And Doc and Venom lose yet again, things aren’t looking good for them yo.”
Kelly Knite: “Man I love Knitington!”
{The Young Guns begins to stir on the outside, but Doc lays motionless in the ring. Knite and Washington exit the ring and fist bump, smiling on their way up the ramp, as Danielson stays in the ring celebrating on the top rope.}
Willy Carter: “Well that was a great match. I hope the rest of the night can live up to that one.”
Eric Hardy: “If I was a betting man, I’d say it will. So stay right there and see for yourselves.”
Kelly Knite: “Don’t miss a minute of Collision!”
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
Kelly Knite: With all the talk of Road to the Gold, what we're missing is there is a tag team title match tonight.
Eric Hardy: The brothers Holland earned their shot at Battle Grounds and are cashing it in already.
Kelly Knite: Putting Dave in a tough spot as he'll have to wrestle twice tonight.
Willy Carter: That's what you have to do if you want to be a world champoin around here, give it your all.
Eric hardy: Well Willy, I've gotta say I agree whole heartedly with that statement.
{Blow me away by Breaking Benjamin hits and the fans are worked up into a small roar as Dave and Milo Holland step out from the back. They run to the ring, ready for their chance to become the first three time NCW Tag Team champions.}
{Stone Sour's "Unfinished" blasts over the PA as Angel and Alex Jones make their way out side to side. They stop at the entrance and hold up their NCW tag team titles so their in between them...they make their way down to the ring as the announcer announces them }
Amber Ashe: "Now coming to the ring at a combined weight of 440 pounds they are the current NCW world tag team champions.... Alex Jones and Angel..BLOOD TIES"
Kelly Knite: Well boys, no time to waste now.. here we go!
Willy Carter: About damn time.
Eric Hardy: I'm agreeing with Willy a lot tonight it seems.
{The match begins with Dave Holland and Alex Jones starting off the action. Holland locks Jones up, takes him by the head and lifts AJ into a snap suplex. Holland gets back up, runs to the ropes and when Jones is getting back to his feet, Holland dives with a flying forearm that sends Alex immediately off his feet. Holland pulls AJ to his feet, takes him by the head and hits a Russian leg sweep. When Dave gets up he heads towards his corner to tag Milo into the ring but before he can, AJ kicks his feet and trips Holland up, sending him flat on his face. Jones spins up and gets back to his feet, Holland pushes himself to his feet, and when he does AJ leaps and puts the PICTURE PERFECT DROPKICK right to Holland's jaw! AJ stretches out his arms when he gets back up and flashes a cocky smile before heading over to Angel and bringing him into the ring. They both take Dave and bring him back to his feet, but Dave puts an elbow into Angel's jaw, turns and decks AJ, turns then tries to hit Angel, but Angel catches the arm, cracks Dave in the side of the neck with a chop, then takes his head and drives it into the mat with a DDT!} Angel goes to the ropes and steps up backwards to the middle rope in the corner. He leaps off and puts a leg drop across Holland's throat then rolls over for the cover 1...2... but Dave puts the arm up.}
Willy Carter: Great counter by Angel to stop Holland from getting some momentum on his side.
Eric Hardy: Heads up move and it almost got the pinfall.
Kelly Knite: Nah... it was a great counter but Holland has way more in him than that.
{Angel grabs Holland and takes him by the arm, he Irish whips him.. no, Holland hits the breaks and instead sends Angel into the corner. Angel hits the turnbuckles hard and Holland rushes after him, he runs up Angel's chest, flips off and then when Angel steps out of the corner Holland blasts him with a running clothesline. Dave walks to his corner and gets Milo into the match. Dave climbs the turnbuckles and stands on the middle rope. Milo pulls Angel to his feet, lifts him into a military press then throws him. Dave leaps off and catches him with the INTERCEPTION spear! Dave rolls out of the ring and Milo falls to his knees and covers 1....2... but a sliding Jones breaks up the cover.}
Eric Hardy: Wow! Almost there!
Kelly knite: That move is deadly....
Willy Carter: Heads up move by Alex then... it looked like it was going to be a three on Angel.
{Milo grabs Angel by his hair and forces him back to his feet after Jones makes his way back to the corner. Milo lifts Angel with a scoop slam and throws him down throat first into the top rope. Angel bounces off holding his throat. Milo isn't finished though as he reaches down and grabs Angel with by hands by the throat! He pulls Angel up and then lifts him into the air holding him there by his throat for several seconds before throwing him across the ring and back first right into the corner. Angel comes staggering out of the corner and Milo charges and hits a running European uppercut! Angel is down again! Mile grabs Angel's arm and pulls him to the center of the ring. He bends down and takes Angel by the throat again. He lifts and goes for his HIGH IMPACT CHOKESLAM but Angel somehow shifts his weight, spins behind Milo and catches him with an improvised lung blower!}
Kelly Knite: Fantastic counter by Angel!
Eric Hardy: Now he's going for his corner to bring Jones back into this match!
Willy Carter: Oh man... he should be going for the pin!
{Angel gets to the corner and brings Jones back into the match. Alex jumps into the ring and helps Angel back to his feet and directs him to the other side of Milo. When Milo stands to his feet after a few seconds Angel and AJ connect with the sandwich dropkicks and Milo falls right to his knees. Jones runs to the ropes, bounces off and comes back with a hard shin kick right to Milo's face! Jones goes for the cover 1....2.. but Milo shoves his arm into the air. Jones goes to the ropes and climbs up where he perches himself on the top. He waits on Milo and when he stands up Alex Jones leaps off for the diving hurricanrana but Milo catches him, then throws him into the corner with the corner powerbomb! Alex's head bounces off the turnbuckles hard. Milo goes to his corner and tags Dave back into the match.}
Kelly Knite: Dave is getting back into the match!
Willy Carter: We can see that Kelly.
Kelly Knite: Don't make me slap you.
Willy Carter: Sorry.
Eric Hardy: You think you would of learned by now.
{Dave jumps into the ring, and Milo lifts Alex back up, the two set him up for the 3H but Angel jumps into the ring and catches Dave with a running clothesline. Milo flips Jones over his shoulder abandoning the move with that and goes at Angel... however suddenly out of the crowd and into the ring slides Doc and Venom with two steel chairs!? They both swing Doc's crashing into Angel's head and Venom's cracking into Milo's Face. The referee is ringing for the bell.. so they crash a chair into his head two.}
Kelly Knite: Oh come on!?
Eric Hardy: Man... they ruined this match!
{Inside the ring Doc and Venom beging alternating hitting different members of both teams, not caring who it is they strike with the chairs. Finally Venom throws his chair down and asks for a mic.}
Venom: Nobody gets a shot at our tag team belts... that's what you get for trying to get your dirty hands on OUR belts.
{Doc throws his chair down and Venom throws the mic to the outside as the smile at their work. They slide out of the ring as we fade out on a shot of them getting booed the whole way up the ramp.}
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
Kelly Knite: Here we go fans. Our first of two Road to the Gold matches!
Willy Carter: And possibly the better of the two.
Eric Hardy: It'll be the longest reigning National Champion taking on a 3 time X-Division champion and former World champion in Xavier Williams.
The lights in the arena shut off, leaving the crowd in anticipation for what's coming next. "Power" by Kanye West hits, and a large pyro explodes in front of the entranceway while lights begin to flicker around the arena. A few moments pass until Charlie Velez finally emerges from the back with a spotlight shining on him. Charlie stares around at the arena before walking down the ramp and heading towards the ring. Before he walks in, Charlie stops at the bottom of the ramp and throws his arms up in the air, as more pyros begin to explode in front of the titantron, lighting up the arena. Charlie slowly lowers his arms, still glaring at the fans before slowly walking up the steps and then heading towards the ring. He walks over to the corner across from him and climbs up to the second turnbuckle, holding his arms up in the air once more. He is unfazed by the boos and the pyros, staring straight into the camera trying to send a message towards his opponent. Charlie finally walks down the second turnbuckle and turns towards the entranceway, waiting for his opponent(s).
Special Entrance: Eh, I’ll do this later.
The arena lights go out as a spotlight focuses on the stages as a light guitar riff kicks in over the PA system
"You can sound the alarm, you can call out your guards
You can fence in your yard, you can pull all the cards
But I won't back down, oh no I won't back down, oh no"
Xavier steps out from behind the curtain black hoodie and bandanna on, he drops to a knee on the ramp as he looks out into the crowd, he takes the bandanna off, and a smirk creep across his face. He hops off and makes his way down the ramp. Xavier slides under the bottom rope and stands in the middle of the ring doing the 'X' symbol over his chest as the lights come back on
Eric Hardy: Here we go Kelly... will it be Velez or Williams?
Kelly Knite: I have no idea, it's going to be so close.
{Xavier Williams gestures to the crowd as Charlie Velez looks from across the way. The two start towards the center of the ring and are jawing with one another when Charlie reaches back to the Ozark Mountains and nails a vicious right cross to the face of Williams, this sucker punch sends Williams across the ropes, when he rebounds he nails a kick to the stomach of Velex, followed by an elbow, a second elbow and then a knee lift. Velez bounces off the ropes and Williams nails a drop toe hold, bounces to his feet and coming of the ropes himself nails a knee drop to the back of the head of Velez. Williams stands, pumping his fists in the air as he exits the ring and stands on the apron, he waits for Velez to stand up and springboards over the top rope, he turns his body going for a dropkick and he nails it, sending Velez backwards. He goes to the corner where he is climbing the turnbuckle with his back to Velez, as he is going to the top, Velez stands runs up behind him and jumps up, hooking in a half nelson, he waistlocks with his other hand and nails a half nelson suplex from the second rope, Williams folds in half}
Kelly Knite: Oh... great move by Velez...
Eric Hardy: Williams thought Velez was out, but Charlie had enough to come back and hit that move off the ropes.
Willy Carter: You can't ever assume anything with Velez, gotta keep your eyes on him at all times.
{Velez stands, shaking the cobwebs out of his head as he lifts Williams to his feet, he lifts him in backbreaker position and drives him over his knee with vicious intent, he stands still holding Williams and running towards the corner nails the Oklahoma stampede into the top corner, he then deposits Williams with a strong bodyslam, covering him for a one count. He stands and mercilessly stomps on Williams before covering again, once again getting a one count.}
{Velez lifts Williams to his feet and Williams fires off with a right hand, then a left hand, but Velez responds with a knee to the gut and a DDT. He covers again and is only able to get a two count. Velez pulls Williams up again and scoops him up for a tombstone piledriver, He holds him but Williams starts to kick his legs and Velez bridges backwards, Xavier gets his feet on the ground and reverses the position, he waists no time hitting a sitdown belly to belly piledriver. He covers and gets a two count. Williams lefts Velez up to his feet and pushes him into the corner. He winds and nails a chop that was probably heard in third world nations, Velez’s chest turns instantly red as Williams rears back and nails another, taking the wind out of the chest of Velez. Velez has a red mark the entire length of his chest as Williams blast him with another. He pulls Velez out and nails a Uranage. He covers and gets a two count.}
Eric Hardy: So close there for Xavier.
Kelly Knite: Williams thought that could have been it there.
Willy Carter: Too bad for him Charlie just doesn't go down that easy.
{Williams stands, and brings Velez back up. He whips him into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, Velez ducks and bounces off the ropes again this time attempting a clothesline of his own, Williams ducks reaches up locking in a Kata Ha Jime and then hitting a vicious suplex out of it he covers}
{Velez kicks out after a two count. Xavier moves back to the corner, catching his breath for a moment. When Velez starts getting to his feet, he charges and nails a shining wizard, Velez falls backwards and Xavier stands, getting the crowd involved he goes to the top rope. He dives off the top with a splash but Velez rolls out of the way and Williams holds his stomach in pain. Velez slowly gets to his feet leaning against the ropes for support, Williams stands and Velez rocks him to the ground with a clothesline, he stands again and gets dropped again with another, as he charges a third time Williams tackles Velez and brings him to the ground, he postures up to deliver a right hand but Velez catches the arm, turns his hips and reverses the move into an armbar, he has it locked right in the center of the ring and Williams looks like he is in trouble}
Kelly Knite: Is the former World champion going to tap here?
Willy Carter: I wouldn't count on it.. it's a hard task to make X tap out.
Eric Hardy: I've gotta agree with Willy here.
{Velez keeps the move locked in as Williams attempts to roll, but Velez like a pitbull will allow no such thing Xavier raises his hand looking to tap when out of desperation he dives towards the ropes, pulling Velez with him, the ref breaks the hold but the damage is done, Williams is holding his arm awkwardly and Velez wastes no time going back in for the kill, simply kicking the arm, Williams pulls it away and Velez wraps his arm behind his back and bodyslams him, inflicting even more damage on the arm}
{Williams is trying to get to his feet but Velez goes to him, grabbing his arm and spinning it into an armlock, Williams drops to his knees in agony as Velez continues to torque that elbow that was previously hurt. Williams tries to fire off a few punches but Velez simply snaps the arm down, causing more damage. Velez has a sly smile on his face, feeling confident with what he is doing. Velez looks cocky, but all that changes when Xavier Williams flips his body over, nailing a rolling heel kick to the top of his head, Velez hits the mat hard and Williams isn’t looking any better as he clutches his arm. He stands, with his arm held across his stomach at an awkward angle and bounces off the ropes and hits a Buisaku Knee Strike. Velez hits the ground and Williams covers for a two count}
Kelly kntie: NO! I thought it might have been it there....
Eric Hardy: Amazing move, and it almost won him the match, but
{Velez sits up and Williams makes a gun with his hand before hitting the sliding elbow strike, he looks to be setting up the BFK as he stands up he spins going for the kick but Velez has it scouted and his ducks under, when Williams turns around Velez lifts him into the air in a fireman’s carry and then nails a double knee gutbuster, stopping the momentum of Williams. Velez pulls Xavier back to his feet and goes for the CLOSURE but Williams gives him a shove in the back and sends him into the ropes. Velez comes back and Xavier grabs his head and arm, he lifts him for his BURNING HAMMER 2.0, but Velez breaks out and falls down Williams' back, Xavier turns around and CLOSURE! Velez covers 1....2...3!}
Willy Carter: And witht hat Velez wins this match!
Kelly Knite: So close for both men... but Velez moves on into the final four!
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
Eric Hardy: What a main event we have for you tonight.
Kelly Knite: Our National Champion Freakke takes on Hall of Fame legend Dave Holland!
Willy Carter: This is for the last semi-finalist spot in our Road to the Gold tournament.
Eric Hardy: A hotly contested match for sure...
{I can feet it
Coming in the air tonight,
Oh Lord}
Willy Carter: Wait, what?
{“In The Air Tonight” by Nonpoint starts up and Jason Blair emerges from backstage to the dismay of the arena. He smirks at the reception as he walks out to the announce booth.}
Eric Hardy: Looks like we'll be joined by National Title number one contender Jason Blair for this match...
Jason Blair: Special Guest Announcer. They said you guys were too boring.
Kelly Knite: I see nothing special here.
Jason Blair: I'd watch your mouth princess, I don't see any other Knite's around.
Willy Carter: Can we just get to the main event now?
{The stage lights all turn yellow as the guitars kick in playing 'The Kids Aren't Alright' by The Offspring. As the guitars begin to reach the end of the opening riff the lights in the whole arena start to get graudually brighter, almost blinding the entire audience at their height.
Then as the drums come in a explosion of fireworks on the stage as the tron starts warming up it's video. Matrix Code appears on the screen. They glow red for half the screen and silver for the other. And then the man appears on the titantron just as the drums build up the entrance of the lead guitar. As the guitar comes in there's a burst on the stage and leaping out onto the stage is none other then Dave Holland!
As soon as he's out on the stage he's shouting at the crowd hyping them up and generally being a nuisance for the security staff trying to keep them calm. He turns his attention to the ramp and the dozens of hands stretched out to him as the lyrics begin.}
When we were young the future was so bright (whoa)

{Dave makes it down to ringisde, hitting damn near every hand he could on the way. He charges at the ring and slides under neath the bottom rope. Dave jumps to his feets and looks around for his special group of people. Sure enough they're as close to the ring as possible. The group of veteran wrestling fans known only as the Die Hard Holland Fans. He acknowledges them with a shout from the turnbuckle. Dave jumps back down and returns to the middle of the crowd, just soaking up the cheers for him, taking in all that energy as he prepares for the match that lies ahead.}
Eric Hardy: Dave Holland, brother of Milo, tag team legend, looking for his first World Title.
Jason Blair: My personal favorite to win it all.
Kelly Knite: Since you couldn't do it yourself?
Willy Carter: SICK BURN!
Eric Hardy: Holland already competed in one match tonight. This will be his second, it's a heroic act for him to be out here right now.
{Freak by Days of the New begins to play and several moments pass. The lyrics begin and Freakke steps out from behind the curtains. Freakke looks to the crowd and his beloved cretins as he outstretches his hands and exhales, basking in the moment. As the song escalates into the chorus, he begins down the ramp. He walks slowly, making his way down the ramp. He reaches up to the ropes and climbs up to the apron. Freakke flips over the ropes and lands on his feet. He then goes to the center of the ring and looks around to the crowd again. As the lines 'I won't, I can't, I'm a Freak' are sung Freakke throws his arms into the air and poses for the crowd, showing life for the first time since entering the ring. He tosses his top hat away and his sullen look turns to a smile that nCw has grown so used to. Freakke then walks over and hops on the nearest turnbuckle and begins to psyche the crowd up. He repeats with the opposite turnbuckle and then turns to face his opponent.}
Willy Carter: National Champion of New Championship Wrestling, Freakke The Carnival King!!
Kelly Knite: How proud we are, to have such a fantastic and optimistic National Champion!
Jason Blair: Freakke is a joke. Look at him! He won't last a minute in there with Holland. And he won't last a month with that title. That title is mine.
Eric Hardy: He is the National Champion, knocking off the one and only Charlie Velez for that title. He deserves the National Championship, and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being the longest reigning National Champion in the nCw.
{Freakke removes his National title and hands it to someone at ringside for safe keeping. He eyes Blair for a moment at the announce booth before turning his attention to Dave Holland. The bell rings and the two men walk to the middle and meet. Holland holds his hand out, and Freakke obliges him with a handshake. The fans applaud the sportsmanship. The men take a few steps back before circling each other carefully. Holland looks for a tie-up, Freakke feints the tie-up and ducks underneath the bigger man, throwing a flurry of quick kicks to the legs of Dave. Holland takes 3 or 4 before he falls to his knees. Freakke bounces off the ropes and delivers a quick dropkick to the back of Holland.}
Eric Hardy: Freakke showing off his speed there!
Willy Carter: Possibly the most agile wrestler we have in this federation, and always a crowd pleaser with his face paced style.
{Holland hits the mat face first, but is quick to his feet. Freakke tries to keep the momentum but Holland ducks a leg lariat. Holland tries to capitalize with an arm drag, but Freakke blocks it, and then reverses it with one of his own. Holland hits the mat and pops back up, but it's right back into another arm drag from Freakke. Hollands up again, and this time Freakke takes to the air and lands a frankensteiner. He covers..}
{1...kickout!}
Eric Hardy: Holland showing off his resiliency here, it's going to take quite a bit to put him out of this tournament.
Jason Blair: You call that resiliency? I call it shaking off a weak move. That's like kicking out of being stung by a mosquito...
Kelly Knite: Holland is wearing down. Showing the effects of wrestling two matches in one night...
{Holland is able to get a shoulder up, but is already looking exhausted. Freakke continues to press his advantage. Holland sits up, and is on his way to his feet when Freakke bounces off the ropes, catching Dave in the face with a dropkick. It sounds sprawling to the outside. Freakke has that look in his eye. He takes off, bounces off the ropes, comes back and.. fakes a suicide dive! Holland bites on the fake, and is caught with a baseball slide through the ropes!}
Eric Hardy: Freakke working Holland from the start, here!
{Freakke pulls Dave Holland to his feet and slides him into the ring. Freakke gets onto the apron, and uses the ropes to slingshot himself into the ring, and on top of Dave! He holds on for the cover...}
{1.....2.....kickout!}
Willy Carter: A little harder to kickout that time..
Jason Blair: Well of course it is. The man's already competed once tonight.
Kelly Knite: Will you stop trying to take credit away from Freakke? He's putting on a hell of a show tonight.
{Holland battles to his feet, and Freakke looks a little confused at what he should do at this point to keep Dave down. He whips Holland to the ropes, and looks for the Carnival Kick (leaping reverse roundhosue) but Holland slides underneath! Holland pops up and nails a side suplex! Both men up quickly, and it's Holland again, this time with a vertical suplex! Holland quick to his feet, Freakke joins him not long after, and Holland uses a quick arm drag to get behind Freakke and nails a big german suplex!}
Eric Hardy: Here comes Dave!
Kelly Knite: Looking to turn this thing around!
Willy Carter: He's going to the top!
{Holland bounces off the top rope and soars high into the air with a Diamond Flight (moonsault) he NAILS it, but Freakke rolls out of the ring! Holland is spent, laying in the corner, and Freakke is nearly unconscious on the outside.}
Eric Hardy: What a move from Holland! But he's unable to pin Freakke!
Jason Blair: Excuse me, I've got some business to attend to.
{Jason takes his headset off and snaps the steel chair he was sitting on shut. He approaches freakke while the ref's tending to the downed Dave Holland. Freakke is just barely making it to his feet when Blair rears back and nails Freakke in the face with the chair. He rolls him into the ring to a chorus of boo's from the crowd. Blair heads to the back. Holland has no idea Blair attacked Freakke, and he's waiting for Freakke to get up.}
Kelly Knite: Not like this! No!
Eric Hardy: Holland has no clue what just happened.. he's going to end it here..
{Freakke stumbles to his feet, already mostly unconscious, Holland steps into a furious Magic Touch (superkick) that snaps Freakke's head and neck back. Freakke crumbles to the mat, and Holland goes for the cover.}
{1.....2.....3!}
Willy Carter: Dave Holland will be moving on to the semi-finals of the Road to the Gold.
Eric Hardy: And I have a feeling that Freakke will not be letting this slide.
Kelly Knite: Him and Blair have a history, and Blair wants that National title.
Eric Hardy: Take nothing away from Holland, he exemplified sportsmanship, guts, and amazing resiliency here tonight! What a victory for Dave Holland.
