video montage set to the sounds of “Have it your Way” by Mudvayne. The fans are on their feet, they know what is going down tonight, the first steps on the Road to the Gold begin here, after catching their excited faces and wild cheers we settle in on Kelly and the gang.}
Kelly Knite: Welcome fans, as you know tonight is no normal Collision, tonight we continue the Road to the Godl and finishe off the first round!
Willy Carter: Going to be a huge night... HUGE.
Eric Hardy: you got that right, several big time matches with a lot on stake here.
Kelly Knite: We're going to begin with what could possibly be one of the better ones too...
Eric Hardy: Alex Jones and Todd Williams, former Flash Bang members who never really got a long get to square off in the first round? Interesting in deed.
Rob Diamond, Andrew Jacobsen, Steve Awesome vs. Milo Holland, Spike Kane, Dave Holland
Winner: Team Infamous wins
Shelly Taylor-Jones and Josie Everyman vs. PoP
Winner: Princesses of Punk win when Stephanie pins Josie.
Mike Lazlo vs. Ander Carvetti
Winner: Carvetti makes the pin after hitting the Boom Headshot.
Jonas Potter vs. Gjenrei
Winner: Gjenrei pins Potter.
{“Still Fly” by Drake begins to play all over the Pa system. The lights begin to flicker and we can see a couple emerging from the back. Todd emerges from behind the backstage curtain followed closely by his girlfriend Sarah Richardson. Todd grins as he claps his hands together and smiles as he turns around in a complete circle to some repeating pyros that all quickly begin to explode one after another. On the last big explosion Todd quickly jumps up into the air, and he grins as he just seems to be overly happy.}
Amber Ashe: The following contest is a Road to the Gold first round match, scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied by Sarah Richardson, from Long Island, New York, weighing in at 215 pounds, he is the Measuring Stick, Todd Williams!
Kelly Knite: And we’re kicking off Collision with a matchup between two high-flyers that seem to thrive on pissing off the fans, as Todd Williams squares off with Alex Jones in our opening bout!
Willy Carter: Aww man, why you gotta make me decide between my man AJ Phoenix and the baddest brother on the block? It’s not fair, I tell ya! Not fair!
{On his way down to the ring he just shakes his head in disgust as he stares at the fans who are booing him. Sarah just stands closely behind him smirking clapping her hands for him Todd quickly slides in the ring and he kips back up to his feet. Just excited to be in the ring.}
Amber Ashe: And his opponent…
{The start of "Levitate" by Hollywood Undead comes over the PA, the lights dim down as strobe lights follow the first few seconds before the guitar riff explodes."The American Nightmare" Alex Jones emerges in a short sleeveless orange vest with a hood covering his facial features and black tracksuit pants.}
Amber Ashe: Accompanied by the nCw Starlets Champion, Shelly Taylor-Jones, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is the American Nightmare, Alex Jones!
Eric Hardy: And we have the other half of the equation, a man who basically gave up during his title match at Battlegrounds last week to Roberto Verona. He claims it’s because he didn’t care about the National Title anymore, but—
Kelly Knite: But he’s full of it, Hardy. Anyone that disrespects a title match like that doesn’t deserve this sort of opportunity, and I’m frankly embarrassed he’s here.
{Shelly Jones his wife and manager makes her way down with him, Alex leaps up onto the ring apron, climbs between the ropes and flips his hood back before removing the vest and pants.}
Willy Carter: God, you are a cruel man, you hear me? CRUEL!
{The bell rings and immediately Jones and Williams circle each other, neither man wanting to make the first move. When someone does move, it’s Williams, who immediately attempts to hit the Sweet Lullaby. Jones ducks under the kick, spinning Todd around and hoisting him up in a fireman’s carry for the Time to Burn. Todd fires a few elbows into the side of Alex’s head, slipping off and dropkicking Jones in the back. Alex staggers forward, and spins around in time to block a punch from Todd. The two start exchanging fists in the middle of the ring, with referee Norman Dafoe having to step in and separate the two.}
Eric Hardy: A violently explosive start from both men, as they both seem to have something to prove here!
Kelly Knite: Their own inadequacies?
Willy Carter: I don’t want to get slapped within the first ten minutes, so I’ll let that one slide.
{The two back up, only to shoot in and lock up with each other. With their sizes almost equal, Alex fires a kick to Todd’s leg to gain a brief advantage. It’s enough, and Jones powers him down with a swinging neckbreaker. He immediately follows that up by locking in a Fujiwara armbar, as Todd cries out in pain. Jones wrenches the hold, firing a few elbows into the shoulder joint of Williams and grinning at his suffering.}
Eric Hardy: Jones just viciously assaulting the arm of Williams here, perhaps weakening it for an AJ Lock attempt down the line in this match.
Kelly Knite: He’s got a history of problems with that arm, so you’d have to think a smart prick like Jones would exploit that.
{Todd tries to get to his feet, Jones bringing his weight down to bear on the shoulder. Alex screams “TAP, YOU BASTARD! TAP!” Williams shakes his head, continuing to struggle to his feet as the fans reluctantly rally behind the less unlikeable of the two. Jones, forced to switch to a standing armbar, wrenches it again and shouts “WHY WON’T YOU TAP?!” Todd gets an evil grin on his face, turning to look at Alex while still in the armbar.}
Willy Carter: Oh snap. Here it comes!
{Indeed, for the first time in a while the entire arena shouts along with Todd as he defiantly proclaims “I’M TODD WILLIAMS!” Jones narrows his eyes, kneeing him in the gut and going to step over for an AJ Lock attempt, but Todd manages to reverse that into a modified Samoan drop! Both men are down, but not for long as Todd kips to his feet, roaring at the crowd. They cheer back at him, and the grin on Williams’ face is reminiscent of his old mannerisms as he beckons for Jones to stand. Groggily, Alex gets to a knee only to be PLASTERED with a stiff Keep Dreaming Shining Wizard! Todd rolls into the cover! 1! 2! Jones kicks out!}
Eric Hardy: Whoa! What a reversal of fortune for Todd Williams! We thought Alex Jones had him grounded, but he’s proving you can’t keep a good ni—
Willy Carter and Kelly Knite: WHOA! WHOA!
Eric Hardy: …I was gonna say ‘a good Knight of the Jedi Order down’, but you had to jump to conclusions…assholes.
{Todd’s bouncing on the soles of his feet, really feeling the momentum shift in his favor. He hits a quick standing moonsault on Jones! Cover! 1! 2! And another kickout! Todd gets back to his feet, grinning, and runs to the ropes, springboarding off and catching Alex right in the mush with a springboard back elbow as he stands! Todd hits a stiff kick to Jones’ back, following that with a boot to the gut, doubling Alex up. He hits the ropes again, looking for a low-angle dropkick, but Alex manages to roll out of the way, Todd getting caught on the bottom rope!}
Kelly Knite: Ow, that cannot be good for the ol’ Measuring Stick!
{Jones goes to do something to Todd while he’s tangled in the ropes, but Norman Dafoe cuts him off! Meanwhile, Shelly Taylor-Jones ducks under the ring apron, retrieving a kendo stick with a grin on her face. She advances towards a helpless Todd, winding up for a huge shot to the shoulder! Todd cries out, and immediately she drops the cane. The ref glances back to see a sheepish Shelly in the other corner, and a vengeful-looking Sarah Richardson charging her from her blind side! The Starlets Champion turns just in time to see Sarah hit her with a huge Thesz press, raining punches down on her as the crowd pops HUGE!}
Willy Carter: Aww yeah, fine white bitches goin’ at it! Mm-mm! Big Willy like!
Kelly Knite: **smack**
{Todd slowly pulls himself out of the ropes as Alex watches on with a hungry look in his eyes. The moment Todd staggers to his feet, he levels him with a huge AJ-Guri! Todd drops like a stone, and immediately Alex locks on the AJ Lock in the center of the ring! He wrenches on the cross armbreaker, and Todd is in immense pain! He claws for the ropes, but only for a moment before he’s slapping the mat and Norman Dafoe is shouting at him to release the hold.}
Amber Ashe: Here is your winner, the American Nightmare, Alex Jones!
Eric Hardy: Alex Jones picking up the win here with an assist from the Starlets Champion.
Kelly Knite: ***damnit. Can’t they ever fight their own battles? I hope this next match isn’t nearly that bad…
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-

{The drumbeat of "Rise Above" sounds over the PA, and the sound of harsh guitars ushers in Caleb Lockwood. He grins, bouncing on the soles of his feet and shouting at the crowd, shaking his head. He fixes his gaze on the ring and grins, charging down. Lockwood leaps into the ring, kipping up and playing to the crowd. His music dies down as he moves into his corner, awaiting the bell.}
Eric Hardy: The exciting young Caleb Lockewood
Kelly Knite: Caleb hasn’t had much luck in NCW but every time we see him he shows some moxy….
{As the music begins to play over the audio system, the lights begin to flicker in and out... there's a mixed reaction coming from the crowd. A single spotlight shines onto the stage as the lights are starting to go back to normal, while a loud roar from the crowd goes over when Seth Evans emerges from behind the curtains along with Kiela, and Seth has a smile on his face as he looks out at the crowd. Standing on the stage during the chorus of the song, Seth begins to sing along to the song.}
You can be me, and I will be you,
You can live just like a star!
I'll take my sanity,
You take the fame!
I'm under and over it all!
{Following the chorus, Seth keeps that smile on his face and holds his hand out for Kiela which she accepts. Pulling very lightly, he brings her forward so that she's a couple steps ahead of him and he brings his other hand to slap her on the ass, which gets her to release his hand and walk ahead of him, turning to face him as she shakes her finger at him. Seth shrugs his shoulders and starts walking down the ramp with Kiela turning her back to him, smiling, as she walks briskly ahead of him. When she gets to the end of the ramp, she moves to the side and tries to rile the fans up for Seth, while Seth bursts into a sprint and slides under the bottom rope, stopping the slide near the middle of the ring before jumping to his feet and raising his arm in the air. She walks all the way around the ring until she gets to the steel steps further away and uses those to get up to the apron and Seth walks over to her... she pulls him close and kisses him on the cheek once, then on the lips before she drops down from the apron. Seth sits on the top turnbuckle while he waits for the bell to sound.}
Willy Carter: This kid been impressive yo…..
Kelly Knite: You’ve turned into a black stereotype?....
If Todd Williams can do it so can I
{The two men start off circling around one another. They lock up, Caleb spins down behind Seth in a rear waistlock, Seth grabs Calebs hands and seperates them before spinning hooking his arm in an armdrag, Caleb gets up and runs forward hitting Seth with an Ricky Steamboat-like arm drag, both men back up now, Caleb goes for a monkey flip, Seth flips forward and lands on his feet, Caleb comes in again and gets a drop toe hold for his trouble, Seth rolls over Calebs body and then slaps him in the back of the head, Caleb gets up staring at Seth who has a cocky grin on his face}
Kelly Knite: A little disrespect there….
Willy Carter: Of course yo..Seth is gonna graduate from the Alex Jones school of arrogance…
{Caleb and Seth lock up again, Caleb with a side headlock, Seth pushes Caleb into the ropes, Caleb comes flying back with a spin heel kick, Caleb then kips up as Seth gets to his feet as well, Seth goes for a clothesline, Caleb runs up and ducks the clothesline before running up the ropes and flipping back spinning in mid air with a sunset flip 1…2…Seth kicks out}
Eric Hardy: Lockwood is amazing,…
Kelly Knite: He can be…
{Caleb to his feet, Seth now too, Caleb goes for a hurricanrana, Seth throws Caleb backwards, Caleb lands on his feet near the ropes, Seth runs in and Caleb ducks down pulling the top rope down sending Seth over the top rope. Caleb then springboards off the top rope, Seth moves out of the way and Lockwood somehow lands on the ring barrier}
Kelly Knite: Are you kidding me?
Willy Carter: Amazing move from Lockwood
{Lockwood turns and walks the ring barrier, he jumps at Seth who ducks, Lockwood lands on the ring apron not touching the ground, Seth leaps up and kicks Calebs legs out causing Caleb to fall back and land head/Neck first on the ring apron.}
Eric Hardy: That had to hurt
Willy Carter: I’ll say!
{Seth slides in the ring after Caleb, Lockwood gets to his feet holding his neck, Seth goes for a superkick, Caleb ducks and Seth flips back hitting a pele kick, Seth gets to his feet and runs up the turnbuckle, he goes for a shooting star press, Caleb rolls out of the way and Seth somehow gets his feet down landing hard, Caleb gets to his feet and puts one leg on the middle rope and spings off hitting a shining wizard to a standing Seth}
Kelly Knite: WOW!
Eric Hardy: What impact!
{Lockwood stumbles and looks at a prone seth, Lockwood climbs to the top rope and calls for his finisher, Lockwood leaps going for the double rotation moonsault he calls the sky scraper press, Seth moves at the last moment and Caleb crashes to the mat, Caleb stumbles around again holding his stomach as Seth runs up to a doubled over caleb and hits the dream destroyer flipping piledriver! 1…2….3}
Eric Hardy: Evans advances!
Kelly knite: Great win for him here, this could be a great step for him in his career. Just getting out of that first round sometimes makes a nice turning point .
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
Kelly Knite: Exciting night so far as we've watched men and women rise to the occasion and others eliminated in this epic series of matches that will eventually announce the new number 1 contender for both division's belts.
Eric Hardy: Excellent explanation Kelly I couldn't have worded it better myself. Now the time has come for the 4th match in the men's series to start. Both men were on the losing end at Battlegrounds but I have a feeling one of those men is about to get seriously hurt.
Willy Carter: That would be an understatement Hardy. This scene is about to get real up in hurr and I have to feel sorry for this man.
{I'm too Sexy hits the PA System. The fans know who will be coming out. Jason Evans steps out from the curtain with a shirt on. As we hear...}
"I'm to Sexy for my shirt too sexy for my shirt..."
{Jason tears his shirt off and tosses it into the crowd. He flexes his Pecs and we hear...}
"So Sexy it hurts."
{Jason Evans begins to make his way toward the ring as he slaps the outstretched hands. He slides into the ring and he goes to a corner and stands on the second rope and again he flexes his Pecs as the crowd loves it. He jumps back down and waits for the match to start.}
Kelly Knite: Jason Evans got some disturbing news earlier in the week and I have a feeling that it's going to affect his performance tonight.
Eric Haryd: I certainly hope not because he's going to have to remain focused if he hopes to even be able to walk away from this match.
Willy Carter: Why would he have to worry about th... oh that's right. Because of Lex Sense.
{The lights go out. A few seconds pass before a deep, menacing, British accent states, "I am the Future!". Lights begin to flicker all over the place as Tool's "Vicarious" hits the loud speakers. The intro is accompanied by images of war, destruction and death, which are being shown on the Jumbotron. Shots of the audience are taken showing the fearful reaction that the arena has been overwhelmed with. The intro dies along with the lights and jumboscreen. The explosion of guitars and drums signals the black lights to illuminate the arena to reveal the blanket of thick fog that has covered the stage and ring. Finally the lights come back on as Sense is being risen from underground. Wearing a gray duster coat and white hood covering his face. Sense has his arms in the shape of an X across his chest but once he is completely risen he raises his arms quickly as fireworks shoot up to the sky. He then extends his hands to form a cross, marking the pillars of fire to blast off one after the other across the stage. At this point Tool's frontman Maynard begins singing the lyrics to the song as Sense slowly makes his way to the ring.}
"Eye on the TV
Cause tragedy thrills me.."
{Once he reaches the bottom of the ramp he strips off his coat and hood and stares into an audience that seems to be in shock from the look of this behemoth. Lex grabs the top rope and pulls himself up and over to enter the ring foot over rope style. He heads into the center of the ring pushing the ref aside as he raises his arms one more time.}
Willy Carter: That's one mean entrance and is it just me or does Lex Sense look bigger than he did last week.
Eric Hardy: Something is certainly different about him. Coming off a big loss at Battlegrounds one has to wonder where his mind set is at.
Kelly Knite: I think he's a total douche but if I were in his oversized clown shoes I would be thinking about taking this tournament home.
{The bell rings and the ref makes sure to not be in Sense's way but Lex just stands there. Jason is unsure of what steps to take here so he begins to slowly and carefully approach the much bigger Sense. No movement from Lex as he just stands there, smiling.}
Kelly Knite: Now that's creepy. Makes you wonder what he's thinking.
Eric Hardy: Strangling babies? Drowning kittens? Raping you?
Kelly Knite: What?
{Jason then shrugs his shoulders and jumps at Lex with a stiff forearm. The shot barely moves the big man but the sweet dropkick after does indeed force Sense to stagger back into the corner! Jason doesn't let up as he continues the assault with some lefts and rights to a cornered Sense. Things are going Jason's way until Sense catches Jason's left fist. Jason swings with his right and that too gets caught. Sense then begins to crush Evans' fist under the grip of his palms and Jason drops to one knee. Sense then lets go of the fists and simply kicks a kneeling Jason square in the chest and Evans' goes sliding across the ring on his back!}
Kelly Knite: That looked like it hurt.
Willy Carter: All that was missing is Leonidas screaming, "THIS IS SPARTA!". Jason better think of something fast because homeboy looks mad.
Eric Hardy: I assume by "homeboy" you mean Sense?
{Lex wipes his lip as he stomps over to Jason and rips him off the mat to his feet. Lex whips Jason to the ropes and goes for a strong clothesline upon his return but Jason runs under it, rebounds off the opposing ropes and nails Sense with a running leaping shoulder block! Sense staggers back but remains on his feet. Jason then hits the ropes once again and comes back with another running leaping shoulder block! Sense once again staggers but maintains his footing. Jason then stands and hits the ropes for the third time and rebounds with another leaping shoulder block... but Sense smashes him out of mid air with an axe handle smash! Lex then mounts a prone Jason and begins punching him into the mat.}
Eric Hardy: Sense is ruthless and it appears that Jason is barely mounting an offense.
Willy Carter: Look who he's facing Hardy. I doubt he's had enough time to prepare for this match.
Kelly Knite: You should always be prepared for anything in wrestling.
{Evans is being mauled by Sense's massive paws. It's brutal to watch so the ref does something surprising and pushes Lex off Evans. Jason rolls out of the ring and flops to the ringside floor. Sense gets tired of hearing the ref scolding him like he was a child so he pushes him out of the way and seeks to end Jason but finds he is nowhere to be found. Sense begins looking out to the outside of the ring and leans out over the ropes which proves to be a mistake as Jason quickly hops unto the apron and grabs Sense's head, jumps off the apron causing his throat to get choked up on the ropes! Sense stumbles back holding his throat as Jason climbs the apron and springboards into the ring with a clothesline that takes Sense off his feet! The crowd cheers as Jason stands and salutes his loyal following.}
Eric Hardy: The way Jason is acting you would think he won this match already.
Kelly Knite: He really needs to concentrate on Sense now that he has the upperhand.
Willy Carter: I think he should celebrate every little victory he gets seeing as he most likely wont be winning this match.
{Jason stops the pandering to the crowd when he realizes Sense is getting to his knees. Evans quickly rushes in with a knee to the face that once again drops the big man. Jason then runs up the ropes and in one swift motion moonsaults off the top rope on top of Sense! Jason hooks a leg and 1... 2... KICKOUT! Jason doesn't let it get to him as he stands and drops a jumping elbow across the chest of Sense and then tries to finish this match off by locking in the Anaconda Vice submission... but Sense could smell it a mile away as he headbutts Jason off of him. Jason rolls to his feet holding his head. He spots Sense standing and quickly rushes in with a float over in hopes of spiking him down with a DDT.... NO! Somehow, instead of Jason DDT'ing Sense, Lex counters and lifts him unto his shoulders instead and drills Evans to the mat with the "Left Senseless"(Death Valley Driver)!}
Willy Carter: That's gotta be it for Jason.
Kelly Knite: I don't know. If there's one thing Jason has it's heart.
{Lex then places his palms on Jason's chest and holds him down for the pin and 1... 2... FOOT ON THE ROPES!}
Eric Hardy: Looks like Jason's not done yet.
{Sense laughs to himself as he stands to his feet, picking up Jason as he does so. He whips him to the corner and follows close behind with a corner clothesline! Sense simply tosses Jason out of the corner into the middle of the ring with a choke toss! Lex then begins to climb the ropes.}
Kelly Knite: This is highly unusual for Sense. What the hell is he going to do?
Willy Carter: 450 splash?
Eric Hardy: 630 Senton?
Kelly Knite: You're both idiots.
{Sense is teeter tottering on the top ropes as he waits for Jason to stand. Evans, unaware of the situation does indeed get to his feet and turns as Sense flies off the top rope with a massive flying clothesline that Jason is able to get out of the way off! Sense lands hard on his feet and trips up, stumbling just enough for Jason to catch him from behind. Evans musters up all his strength to barely lift Sense up before slamming him down with the "Sexy Relaxer"(Blue Thunder Special)! Jason is barely able to stand after hitting his special but Sense is down as Jason stands, arching his back in pain. He doesn't let the pain stop him as he climbs the ropes in hopes of finishing this off. The crowd is going nuts as Jason points out to those in attendance before flying off with the "Sexy Splash"... NO! Jason hits nothing but mat as Sense rolled out of the way! Sense rolls to his feet and stumbles to a face down Jason, rips him off the mat, whips him to the ropes, catches Jason on the rebound with a powerful Double A Spinebuster! After hitting the Spinebuster, Sense wraps Jason's legs and locks in the Lasso from El Paso finishing off his "Lex Marks the Spot" finisher!}
Willy Carter: A move rarely used by Sense but when he does, there's no way out.
Kelly Knite: I'm surprised Jason was able to put up the fight that he did.
{Jason is struggling as Lex pulls back on the hold while pushing down on his own knee across Jason's back. Evans screams out in pain but has nowhere to go and is left with no choice but to tap! Sense wins by submission!!}
Eric Hardy: And Lex Sense advances to round two. Something tells me this RTTG tournament is going to be the best one ever.
Kelly Knite: Certainly optimistic but I could see why you would think that.
Willy Carter: Sense is going to mess some fools up that's for sure.
{"Vicarious" blares throughout the speakers as the ref tries to force Sense off the hold. Lex pushes the ref back as he let's go of a limp Jason. He stands and raises his arms to the boos of the crowd before exiting the ring.}
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
Kelly Knite: We're back and we have a very interesting match coming up...
Eric Hardy: Ricky Johnson looks to get his third straight shot at Steve Awesom up next.
WillY Carter: But he'll actually have to earn this one if he wants it.
Kelly Knite: I believe he's earned every shot he's been given Willy.
Willy Carter: you would.
{Defy You" plays over the PA system. Once the lyrics begin, Ricky Johnson emerges from the backstage area, He pauses at the top of the entranceway, soaking in the atmosphere. He stares ahead at the ring and begins a slow walk towards it. He pauses from time to time looking around the arena. After a moment, he steps on the apron, and enters the ring through the ropes. }
Kelly Knite: Ricky is a surprise entrant in the Road to the Gold after losing his second straight pay per view world title match
{The lights dim down and red lights begin to swirl around the arena as Cower Before Me by Allegaeon begins to blare over the PA as Mark Evil steps onto the ramp. He walks down the aisle to the cheers of fans. He steps up onto the apron and steps over the top rope into the ring. }
Eric Hardy: And here is another surprise entrant who is out to try and ruin Ricky Johnsons day.
Kelly Knite: I don't see it happening, Ricky may have lost to Steve and InFamous, but he's still on a roll.
{The bell rings and the two men begin to circle each other. Ricky smirks at Mark Evil who cocks his head and flies at him with a huge forearm smash, taking Johnson down hard. Ricky rolls to his feet and turns around ducking under Evil's wild lariat and dropping him with a back body drop. He rolls through but so does Evil taking Johnson down with a snap dropkick. Both men are back to their feet but Ricky drops to a knee and sweeps Evil down. Mark rolls backwards}
Eric Hardy: Nice early wrestling from these two.
{Both men are back to their feet and staring each other in the eyes. They nod and start to approach each other again, they lock up this time and Ricky gains the advantage and slips behind Mark Evil, dropping to the mat and rolling him up for a schoolboy, but Evil kicks right out and the two men roll to their feet once again.}
Kelly Knite: Ricky tried to take the match early there, maybe a bit of arrogance?
{Mark and Ricky tie up in the middle of the ring. Evil throws a knee up into the stomach of Johnson, he takes him by the arm and attempts to Irish Whip him but Johnson holds his around and pulls on Evil's arm and clotheslines him to the ground. Johnson falls to his knees and puts his hands around the throat of Evil and begins choking him. After several seconds the referee warns and Johnson feigns innocence by holding his hands up. He grabs Evil's hair and punches him across the face before pulling himself and Evil back to a vertical base. He drags Evil to the corner where he pulls Evil's head up and looks to slam him forehead first into the turnbuckle. Evil holds out his arms and blocks the move throwing his elbows back into the gut of Johnson. Johnson takes a step back and Evil quickly turns to punch but Johnson blocks and hits a quick jab that sends Evil back first into the corner.}
Eric Hardy: That had to hurt.
Kelly Knite: The pace is certainly picking up.
{Johnson lifts Evil and puts him in a sitting position on the top turnbuckle. He climbs up Evil begins throwing puch after punch into Johnson's chest but Ricky delivers a head butt that stops Evil's attack, he continues to climb until he's on the top rope, he grabs Evil pulls him up out of the sitting position and brings him down with a superplex. He flips over and hooks a leg going for the pin. 1..2... but Evil gets the shoulder up.}
Kelly Knite: that was a close call right there!
Eric Hardy: Evil just managed to kick out and save his chances for the Road to the Gold right there.
{Johnson pulls Evil back to his feet where he takes him by the arm and Irish whips him, Evil comes back with a big diving forearm that sends Ricky Johnson to the mat. Evil rolls back to his feet quickly. Johnson turns over and back to his and is sent right back down with an awesome muay thai combo. Evil straddles Johnson who is face first on the mat and locks both of his arms in a full nelson, Evil pulls and lifts Johnson off the mat and then up over his head with a bridging full nelson suplex pin. 1.....2...- but Johnson somehow kicks away!}
Kelly Knite: Superb showing from these two, which is a nice surprise.
{Evil and Johnson both roll back to their feet, Johnson comes at Evil with a punch but Evil blocks it with his arm, he grabs Johnson and spins him around wrapping his arms around his waist, he goes to lift but as he does Johnson kicks backwards catching Evil below the belt out of sight from the referee. Evil bends over holding himself in pain}
Eric Hardy: This is where the men are seperated from the boys Kelly. Evil is hurt, and Ricky will prey on that hurt.
{Johnson runs and bounces off the ropes, he comes back an dhits a big spinning neckbreaker putting Evil down to the mat. He turns Evil over and grabs him by the hair and head and pulls Evil back up, he locks him in a half nelson, he lifts and drops Evil onto his knee with a backbreaker. Evil grimaces in pain as Johnson walks to the turnbuckles and climbs up, he looks down and leaps with a knee drop, that Evil narrowly avoids!}
Kelly Knite: Could this be the turning point?
{Evil slowly gets to his feet, clutching his back, but Johnson is back to his feet quicker, holding his knee a little. Evil turns and grins and goes to boot the knee of Johnson, but Ricky catches it and spins Evil around and catches him with The Solution!! Ricky Johnson covers 1......2........3! And Ricky Johnson takes one step closer to yet another chance at Steve Awesome!}
Kelly Knite: Ricky holds off Evil and picks up the win!
Eric Hardy: Ricky Johnson looks determined to get one more shot at Awesome.
Willy Carter: Yeah but he's going ot have to survive 15 other men if he wants to do that.
Kelly Knite: Well he's already outlasted 8 of them with this win, so he's well on his way.
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
{‘The Man That You Fear’ by Marilyn Manson begins to play as blue fog emerges from the rampway, Trent Helms walks out, his head covered by a black hoodie. As he walks to the ring, he stares out towards the crowd, looking at all the fans who turned against him by not helping him gain entrance into the hall of fame. }
Amber Ashe: “The following contest is a Road To The Gold Tournament match….Now making his way to the ring…..From Thunder Bay, Ontario…….Weighing in at one hundred and ninety pounds……Trent Helms!”
{Helms simply smirks and walks to the ring before sliding underneath the bottom rope and climbing to the middle turnbuckle, spreading his arms outwards.}
Kelly Knite: “Oh boy…It’s Trent Helms.”
Willy Carter: “Show some enthusiasm Kelly. The man is a future Hall-of-Famer, and he just beat a Hall-of-Famer last night.”
Kelly Knite: “By count-out! It was a B.S. win for a guy that has about as much of a chance in making the Hall of Fame right now as Hexx does!”
Willy Carter: “Because the man keeps holding him down! Trent can’t get in the Hall of Fame, but the early buzz is that next year’s class includes Zelda and Ryleigh.”
{The beginning bass line to ‘Louder Than Words’ by Celldweller begins and the fans start to give their boos for Kristoff Liam Bates.}
Amber Ashe: “And his opponent……Hailing from Sunnyvale, California……He weighed in tonight at two hundred and forty pounds……..Kristoff Bates!”
{Bates comes out from behind the curtain, he ignores the fans as he walks down and they continue to boo him. He is quick to get down to the ring. He rolls under the ropes and he stretches in the corner getting ready for the match at hand.}
Eric Hardy: “You might not love Kristoff Bates’ attitude, but you have to give him some respect for coming out as a gay wrestler.”
Willy Carter: “More like Kristoff GAYtes! Am I right?!”
Kelly Knite: *Smacks Willy* “You’re better than that.”
Eric Hardy: “Uh….Bates is coming off another hard loss at the hands of Jonas Potter. He’s looking to move on to bigger and better things with a win on the Road to the Gold.”
{Referee Norman Dafoe is our official for this contest. He calls for the bell and the match is underway with some instant jockeying for position. Bates advances towards Helms and Trent kicks at his legs to keep his distance. Trent backs away and Bates shoots in for a takedown, but Trent avoids it and guides Bates into the turnbuckles. Trent spins Bates around and lights up his chest with a big Knife Edge Chop. The crowd lets out a collective ‘WOOO!’ as Helms lays into his pectoral region with another stiff chop. Bates delivers a right hand to Trent and quickly reverses their positions and hits Kristoff with a lightning fast series of chops that quickly bring the blood rushing to his chest. Bates takes a step out of the corner and Trent Hip Tosses him to the mat and immediately follows up with a jumping Knee Drop to the sternum. Bates sits up holding his ribs, allowing Trent to plant a boot firmly in the side of his head and knock him back to the mat. Trent drags Bates away from the ropes and starts to put the boots to his midsection with a kidney smashing collection of stomps. Helms jumps up and delivers an Elbow Drop to the sternum before hooking the leg. 1.…Bates quickly kicks out, and Trent guides him to his feet. Trent kicks Bates in the sternum before coming off the ropes with a Running Knee to the side of his jaw. Bates crumples to the mat before Trent bounces off the ropes with a Running Leg Drop to the back of his head. Trent delivers a kick to the ribs that nearly sends Bates out the ring entirely. The former NCW World Champion steps back and waits as his opponent gets to his feet, before dropping him from behind with a Full-Nelson Facebuster. He then takes a few steps back before running in with an Elbow Drop to the lower back, and then another planted directly in the shoulder blades.}
Eric Hardy: “It seems to me like Trent is just toying with Kristoff early on in this match.”
Kelly Knite: “Yeah. The guy is a major dick. I can’t wait to see him get some comeuppance.”
Willy Carter: “He’s playing mind games. Maybe if you did that you’d win more often.”
Kelly Knite: “You are really pushing it tonight Willy….”
{Helms lifts Bates to his feet and hits him with a left punch, right punch, left punch, European Uppercut combo that stuns him. Trent then hits the ropes and comes off with a Spinning Heel Kick that Bates is able to duck, sending the opponent crashing to the mat. Trent is up instantaneously and he quickly charges at Bates, who catches with him with a Japanese Arm Drag, and as they both get up yet again, Trent swings and misses allowing Bates to drop him with a spinning Back Suplex. Again both men are quickly on their feet, and Bates recklessly Headbutts Trent, sending him back into the ropes. Bates shoots him off and connects with a Powerslam, completing the maneuver with a pin attempt. 1.….2. Trent gets the shoulder up as soon as Dafoe’s hand hits the mat a second time. Kristoff takes a few seconds of rest before guiding the man hailing from a Planet called Canada to his feet, where Trent catches him with a knee to the sternum. Bates bends down and Helms locks in a front facelock DDT Clutch, laying in several stiff knees to his head. Trent releases and looks to run off of the ropes, but Bates grabs him from behind and powers him down with The German! Bates tries to shake himself back into shape following those vicious knees to the head, before grappling the legs and turning Helms over into a Boston Crab. With a psychotic look on his face, Bates leans back in the hold for maximum pressure on Trent’s back. Bates yells for the referee to “ASK HIM!” for the submission, but Trent refuses. He crawls his way to the ropes, forcing Bates to break the hold before a five count disqualification. KLB pulls Trent away from the ropes and looks to lock the hold back on again, but he’s rolled up into a Small Package. 1.…2...Bates breaks free. As both men get up, Helms hits Bates with a series of forearms to the face, backing him into the ropes. Bates fights back with a big punch of his own, knocking him back, but Trent comes running in with a big Clothesline that sends them both out of the ring and to the arena floor.}
Kelly Knite: “This match is just getting good…so that means it’s time for a commercial break!”
Eric Hardy: “Kristoff Liam Bates and Trent Helms fight to move on in the Road to the Gold tournament! Who will advance? We’ll find out after these commercials!”
{ {COMMERCIAL}}
Willy Carter: “How were the commercials? Did they make you happy, sad, or indifferent?”
Kelly Knite: “Shut up Hardy! Let’s get back to the action!”
Eric Hardy: “But I didn’t even say anything!”
{Back in the ring, or two competitors exchange punches in the center of the ring. Bates ducks a wild left hand and stuns Helms with a quick Jawbreaker. Bates looks around before running back and bouncing off of the ropes. As Bates rebounds, Trent is waiting and catches him with a surprise Bob-Omb Drop! Helms lays his hands across Kristoff’s chest following the Powerbomb type maneuver and looks for the victory. 1.….2.….Bates shoots his arm off of the ground. Trent stands up and devises a plan of attack. He takes Bates by the legs and crosses them around his own before turning him over into the Sharpshooter! You can see the pain shooting through KLB’s face as his legs and back are being punished. He tries to drag the bodyweight of both men to the sanctity of the ring ropes, but the dastardly Trent Helms drags him back closer to the center of the ring. Bates is stuck in No Man’s Land, and he takes the only route possible, as he tries to turn the hold around. He rips at the leg and elbows the back of the knee, finally knocking Helms to his knees. Bates pulls himself out of the hold, and rolls on the mat favoring his back. He crawls over and uses the turnbuckles to hold himself up as Trent comes in for the kills. Bates grabs Norman Dafoe by the shirt collar and pulls him in front of his body, stopping Trent’s attack. While Helms moves the referee out of the way, Bates reaches up and rakes his eyes, temporarily blinding him. Dafoe sees Trent holding his eyes and questions Bates. The Sunnyvale native denies any wrongdoing and pushes him aside to continue his attack, but Helms feels his coming up. Trent instinctively jumps up and drives his legs into Kristoff’s face and chest, pulling him down into a Double-Knee Facebuster. With the opponent down, Trent steps through the ropes and slowly climbs to the top rope. The fans begin to roar in anticipation of the former high-flyer returning to his roots and nailing a spectacular 630 Splash. A maniacal grin comes across the face of the future hall-of-famer, as he steps down to the second turnbuckle….and then the bottom one as the fans begin to boo mercilessly. Trent jumps off of the lowest possible turnbuckle while looking for the Diving Legdrop, but Bates rolls out of the way and Trent lands on his tailbone.}
Kelly Knite: “Ha! Serves him right.”
Willy Carter: “Kristoff Bates is a crafty wrestler. Playing possum while his opponent taunted the fans was a smart move.”
Eric Hardy: “It gave him the much needed opportunity to catch his breath. Meanwhile if Trent had just came off of the top, this match could have been over.”
Kelly Knite: “Man…I hate both of these assholes.”
{Bates waits in the wings as Helms gets up holding his behind. The former Honor Champion then boots Trent in the sternum and jumps in the air, coming down with his trademark CPU Trouble DDT! He shoots the half, rolling Helms over and looking for a pin. 1.….2.…..Trent gets his shoulder up! Kristoff practically loses his mind (if he hasn’t already) at this point, and begins to argue with the referee. Bates says some things to Dafoe that aren’t fit to print, before noticing Trent getting to his knees out of the corner of his eye. Bates stalks over and places his arm under the chin of Helms and hooks his legs around the waist…..He locks in This Tie Is Too Tight! Kristoff’s deadly Rear Naked Choke is locked on and he’s looking to suck the life out of his opposition as he lays on Trent’s back. Referee Dafoe comes over and asks Trent if he wants to give up, to which Trent doesn’t respond. Dafoe takes hold of Trent’s left arm and checks for the choke out victory. He drops the arm, and Helms is barely able to keep it up off of the mat. Trent plants both of his hands on the mat and tries to push himself up off of the mat. Bates has the weight advantage and he uses it to his advantage, trying to keep Helms pushed to the mat. Trent pushes his upper body off of the mat just enough so that he can use his momentum to roll the hold over, and now he’s on top, allowing him to reach over with his arm and grab the middle rope! 1.…..2.…..3.…..4.….Bates finally breaks the chokehold in a fury and gets to his feet, stomping away at the defenseless opponent. Dafoe tries to stop the attack by pulling Bates away, but he has none of it. He rips Trent up from the mat, and grapples him from behind. Bates looks for another German Suplex, but Trent fights away his hands and elbows him in the temple. Helms hooks his arm around Bates’ head and uses the second rope to flip himself over the back…..Trent connects with Any Given Moment! Trent just pulled off Kelly Knite’s finishing move! He reaches an arm across Bates for the pin. 1.……2.…..Bates gets his arm up just in the nick of time!}
Kelly Knite: “Oh you’re going to steal my moves Trent?!? If you’re going to do that at least win with it you bitch!”
Willy Carter: “Hahaha. Way to stick it to ‘em Trenty.”
Eric Hardy: “We may have to cut the sound feed for a few seconds….I’m pretty sure Kelly is going to get us in trouble with the FCC.”
Kelly Knite: “You’re right. Trent Helms can go fu- *Audio cuts off*”
{Both men lay on the mat, motionless as the referee begins to count them both down. 1.…2.…3.….4.…Both men begin to stir…..5.…..6.…..7.…..Bates uses the second rope to hold his body up and Trent is to his knees…..8.…..9.…..Everyone is up on wobbly legs just before the ten count. Helms slaps Bates in the face in a show of disrespect as the crowd hisses…and Bates retaliates with an equally disgusting slap. With fire in their eyes and pain coursing through their bodies, the two exchange words…
Kristoff Liam Bates: “HAS-BEEN!”
Trent Helms: “PAT PATTERSON!”
Kelly Knite: Who?
{Bates jumps in the air and nails Trent with an Enziguri to the ear, knocking Trent out on his feet. Bates catches him falling forward with a Release Northern Lights Suplex. Bates slowly drags Trent’s lifeless body over closer to the corner before stepping through the ropes to the ring apron. He looks out to the crowd and taunts them before heading to the top rope. Trent gets to his feet and stumbles over, falling across the top rope. This causes Bates to slip and crotch himself down across the top turnbuckle. Helms walks over and Uppercuts Bates, before stepping up to the second rope and pulling the opponent across his shoulders in a Fireman’s Carry……Trent’s looking for a Super Bioshock! Trent leaps off the second rope for the Bioshock….Bates connects with an elbow to Trent’s head, knocking him senseless mid-move! They both crash to the mat, and Bates immediately locks his legs around Helms’ neck and yanks at his arm….Suffocating Cubicle! Bates locks on his Triangle Choke finisher and tries to make his opponent tap out. Trent struggles to get to the ropes, but the pressure on his arm is threatening to rip his shoulder right out of socket…..Trent tries to escape, but he can't break away and falls limp!}
Amber Ashe: “Here is your winner by submission……..KRISTOFF LIAM BATES!”
{Bates holds the Suffocating Cubicle a few moments later for good measure. He releases and stands up, having his arm raised in victory.}
Eric Hardy: “Kristoff Bates has done it! He defeated Trent Helms and is moving on in the Road to the Gold tournament.”
Kelly Knite: “And he did it in an impressive fashion! That Triangle Choke is just deadly.”
{Bates steps through the second rope and jumps to the arena floor. As Helms massages his shoulder one the mat, Bates backs up the ramp with a satisfied smirk on his face.}
Willy Carter: “Great. Now that guy is one step closer to winning a World Title shot….Do we really want Kristoff Bates to be our World Champion?”
Eric Hardy: “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. There’s still a long way left on the Road to the Gold. We’ll see who will be joining Bates in the next round right after this break! Stay tuned!”
-[COMMERCIAL BREAK]-
Amber Ashe:"Ladies and Gentlemen this match is for one fall first comming down to the ring weighting 275 pounds from Houston, Texas he is "The Texas Terror"Chris Cooper!!!!"
“Take a mortal man”
“And put him in control”
“Watch him become a god”
“And watch the heads”
“ROLL!”
As the heavy rhythm starts red and blue pyrotechnics shoot skyward Cooper appears at the top of the ramp. He slaps both of his shoulders and throws his arms arm up and begins the long trot to ringside where he slides in and jumps to his feet. The ring posts explode in blue and red as he begins to pull on the upper rope. He is ready for battle.
Amber Ashe:"And his opponet, weighting 360 pounds from Chicago, Illinois he is "The Chi-Town Terror"JackHammer!!!!"
Becoming the Bull by Atreyu plays on the PA as JackHammer and Angel come through the curtain, JackHammer then stops at the top of the ramp and looks around to the crowd before raising his left fist as pyros shoot off on the stage. JackHammer and Angel head down the ramp, with Goliath behind them as flame pyros shoot off along the whole length of the ramp to the ring. Angel heads to the corner, with Goliath standing behind Angel with his arms folded across his chest as JackHammer climbs the ring steps, he then stops at the top step and raises his left fist sending pyros shooting out of the ring posts. JackHammer then steps into the ring over the top rope and removes his duster and bandana.
JackHammer and Chris Cooper lock up only to have JackHammer shove Chris Cooper off his feet. Chris Cooper looks up surprised that JackHammer over powered him.
Eric Hardy: I don’t think he expected JackHammer to be so powerful.
Kelly Knite: Well he’s not exactly small himself. He’ll recover.
Chris Cooper gets up and quickly locks up again, once again JackHammer shoves Chris Cooper away. Chris Cooper gets a look of annoyance then runs in for a third lock-up.
Eric Hardy: Oh come on, give it up already JackHammer’s got an extra 85 pounds on you.
Chris Cooper shoves JackHammer to no avail but just before JackHammer shoves him away again Chris Cooper suddenly knees him in the gut before hitting a DDT. He rolls over and goes for a cover.
One…-kickout-
Eric Hardy: Barely a one-count.
Kelly Knite: You’re just jealous he DDTed JackHammer…
Eric Hardy: What?!?
Chris Cooper doesn’t look surprised, instead he looks determined, he grabs JackHammer’s legs and steps between them before folding JackHammer’s leg around his and locking in a Sharpshooter.
Kelly Knite: A perfectly executed sharpshooter, this one’s over already.
Eric Hardy: It’s locked in tight JackHammer better reach the ropes…
JackHammer pulls himself forward slightly then grabs the bottom rope, the ref calls for a rope-break but Chris Cooper doesn’t break the hold, the ref starts to count.
One…
Two…
Three…
Four-breaks hold-
Eric Hardy: He better be careful if he doesn’t break before that five the ref would be forced to disqualify him.
Kelly Knite: Oh I bet you’d like that wouldn’t you, always with the easy way.
Chris Cooper backs off a few steps but the damage has been done, JackHammer rolls around holding his leg. Chris Cooper grabs his leg and drags him closer to the center before dropping his elbow onto the injured leg three times.
Kelly Knite: He’s really working that leg, I don’t think JackHammer will be able to walk aftere this match.
Eric Hardy: He’s certainly done the right thing strategy wise, he’s taken JackHammer and taken him of his vertical base, now JackHammer’s at Chris Cooper’s mercy.
Kelly Knite: Too bad he doesn’t have any.
Willy Carter: You don’t know that…
Kelly Knite:… Yes I do… I talk to him all the time.
Willy Carter: Sure…
Chris Cooper grins then grabs JackHammer’s legs around this time stepping over and going for a clover leaf but just before he can gain a proper grin JackHammer manages to kick Chris Cooper away and send him shoulder first between the turnbuckle pads and into the steel pole.
Eric Hardy: Nice counter by JackHammer.
Kelly Knite: *grumble*won’t last…
JackHammer slowly gets up favoring his injured leg. Chris Cooper slowly pulls himself out of the turnbuckle as JackHammer lines him up slaking him with his back turned. Chris Cooper turns around and SMACK runs right into a big boot by JackHammer, however JackHammer grabs his leg afterwards obviously that move cost him.
Kelly Knite: HA you’re legs injured fool.
Eric Hardy: it just goes to show how far JackHammer’s willing to go to win this match.
JackHammer regains his composure and drags Chris Cooper to his feet before locking in and hitting a delayed vertical suplex. He stands up and holds his arms in the air still favoring his injured leg. JackHammer drags Chris Cooper to his feet then lifts him up as if going for a gorilla press slam but Chris Cooper wiggles free then drops behind him before shoving JackHammer right into the ref knocking the ref out.
Kelly Knite: Ref’s down, quick Chris Cooper go for the chair.
Eric Hardy: You make me sick, but it would be safe to say all hell is about to break lose.
Chris Cooper runs at JackHammer but JackHammer turns and hits a stiff clothline that drops Chris Cooper dead in his tracks, as he lies on the mat holding his head. JackHammer picks Chris Cooper up, then hits a Inverted frontface lock swinging neckbreaker. JackHammer steps back waiting.
Eric Hardy: I think JackHammer is going to end it here.
Kelly Knite: The ref is still out cold.
Chris Cooper slowly rises up only to turn around and have JackHammer grab him by the throat. JackHammer then hits the Earth Tremble. JackHammer then goes over and helps the ref up. JackHammer then goes and picks Chris Cooper up and puts him in postion then nailing him with a thunderous Earth Shatter. JackHammer makes the cover, ref counts 1...2...3
Amber Ashe:"Here is your winner...."The Chi-Town Terror"JackHammer!!!!"

Obsidian: I know you can't hear us Curtis, but it's going to be okay. You'll see. Someday you'll be back on your feet.
Doctor: He can hear you just fine, he's not in a coma. He did suffer a concussion from the blow to the head with the pipe, but otherwise, he's okay.
Esmerelda: Oh thank goodness.
Doctor: I wouldn't suggest him wrestling anytime soon though. He needs time to recover.
{Curtis's bandage wrapped head shakes to say "no."}
Doctor: It's doctor's orders sir.
GQ Money: Yeah, but he's a little crazy, honestly, I'm not surprised we're not in here more often.
{Esmerelda slaps GQ in the back of the head.}
Esmerelda: Don't say things like that in front of the kids, estupido.
Doctor: Well, are you ready to see the damage?
{Everyone nods and the doctor starts to remove the bandage from Curtis's face. As it unravels, a piece of blond hair falls out.}
Obsidian: GASP! Can it be!?
Doctor: What? Oh sorry about the hair, this bandage was on a cancer patient before this one.
GQ Money: Re-using bandages?
Obsidian: Lousy HMOs.
{The doctor continues to unravel and finally Curtis Kanyon's face is revealed! Only his normal hair rests on his head, and some stitches where he was struck with the pipe. Everyone stands there in silence as he looks around.}
Curtis: What?
Obsidian: Well, Curtis...or DDK? Which are you?
Curtis: I...I am...something even better. As a great man once said... wait 'til they get a load of me.
